Where the fuck to even start with you Jomo. Jomo, formerly known as Fwick, is the subject of my largest conspiracy yet. I am fucking CONVINCED that Jomo is the dev of the game that does the official artworks for special events and DLC, because holy SHIT is Jomo's art in a tier of its own. Jomo is the fucking Michael Jordan of Cult of the Lamb art, rivaled by very VERY few. The environments are splendid, the characters are adorable and it's all done in such a beautifully similar style to the official artwork of the game. You could easily tell me Jomo IS the person doing the official art, but if I'm being honest? Jomo is better (in my opinion). But don't get it twisted, you can tell the difference with a mere glance and Jomo's uniquely recognisable style is a unique and adorable edition that wouldn't go awry in a museum or an award show. This shit is top tier lemme tell you, I can't glaze it enough.

Between the anatomy, the charisma and character that blossoms in the characters designs and the historically-designed outfits, there's not a single thing you do badly, or even mediocre for that matter. Not only that, but such a passionate and dedicatedly written story, with such a beautifully paced yet long winding story that leaves you always waiting for an update. The art though? Oh man the art. Cuddly, cute and joyful but with a perfectly conveyed sense of fear whenever Spider needs to put the brakes on the fun zone. Spider knows their shit, and does it perfectly to a T. Don't sleep on spider, that spider knows how to write a story that bites in the night, or soothes in the daytime. Take your pick, you won't be disappointed.

there weren't many in belobog that had not heard of her prestigious name and even fewer that had been graced an audience of such commanding presence that demanded attention. but sampo koski was a man of action and intent, however foolish and dangerous said actions or intentions were. to find himself under her sharp eyes gave him a sick thrill of excitement. he was never a man to bend under most forms of authority, but rather he challenged and schemed until the endgame fit his desired outcome with the person manipulated under his tightly fastened marionette. he played the part of the fool well, just as he did with each mask he wore and carelessly discarded thereafter. "that depends, really. are you someone that i can get away with taking?"

had he been anyone else and his resolve been built upon glass foundations, it would have surely shattered under the weight of her sharp eyes. clutched in her hand, sampo's eyes darken briefly as they lower in curious scrutiny. she was only a bit shorter than him, but the height difference did not make her any less imposing despite her lean and graceful features. even with her visage obscured by dark shadows, she was quite beautiful bathed in the glow of the moon like this. he was drawn to her eyes, how they felt as cold as the roaring of the eternal freeze and how they glossed over with familiarity that he couldn't quite catch. a shell, he surmised. a cocoon long shed and destined to decay. except when the rot came and festered like an open wound, it refused to become one with soil and remained a hapless mess in a cruel, stationary hell. or maybe it was a mask. just like he wore to pretend that he felt something more than he did. to blend in with the common people of belobog and flaunt about the humanity that he did not possess nor ever care to. he only desired one thing, and that was the very thing that he desired in excess. to laugh and bask in pleasure of the mind and flesh even at the detriment of others. they didn't matter in the grand scope of things. nobody mattered on this pitiful, tiny ice rock out in the vast expanse of space. not even sampo koski mattered in the story of aeons and stars, but his own self was all he had. he was the only person that understood such things, so why not enjoy the fruitlessness of all things by indulging in some self-imposed gluttony. the air felt colder too, inescapable like a snake coiling and writhing for breath under the prison of his flesh. not from the feel of the first snow upon his head or the gentle lull of the wind caressing his bare skin, but as though intention were made palpable. like if he could open his mouth and taste the cold like ice on his tongue. "my my...don't you have a way with words. what can i say! i'm a man of the people, after all, and i aim to please." he does not lean in nor away from the hand that gripped him, though a lazy smile does curl itself across his features. his eyes danced with playfulness as he tilted his head slightly, blowing a flirtatious puff of air towards her ear. "i prefer not to look at it as intruding either! no need to make it sound so negative when you seem so interested in my company, hm?" though the truth of the matter is, sampo was intruding, and his intentions were far from innocent. as was to be expected from a known conman and businessman whose face consistently littered the walls of humanity's last bastion. whispers spoken of her prowess and wisdom, he would truly be the fool of all fool's to try and get one over her. however, his original intention had been not to get caught in the first place. "i would prefer to refer to it as something more like, a temporarily unprompted and unwanted visit of sorts. turned well-received and entertaining by such a chance meeting. sounds a lot nicer, doesnt it?"

i’d forgive jean cause i feel like she’d be one of the ones who beats herself up the most about it (and she’s hot-) and she already works hard enough for the knights of favonius if she started crying for my forgiveness i would not hesitate because i already just want to cuddle her and give her forehead kisses-

i won’t say who to forgive because it’s every person’s preference, but if you decide to forgive even one of them, expect to see the other begging the forgiven to ask you to give them a chance too.

Well, i accidentally deleted the original graduation character list post, so here i am making another one. Oops. And as always, if anyone has important details i should add then feel free to suggest them!

Here are all the characters introduced in episodes 1-25. Named characters only!

Also i can’t hide spoilers! So, um..... I can’t put spoilers on this one. If you need the version with spoilers try this version of the post that i made on the adventure zone subreddit but youre not missing out on much.

Hieronymous Wiggenstaff (he/him): Head of the Hero/Villain school. at least 400 years old. wears shining blue armor with gold accents. also an elf. according to Tomas, he led the charge at the "battle of blood valley", brought the Kingdoms of Rickart and Dawnbreak to a peace treaty, and founded the school. a little boastful, a little prideful, [SPOILERS OMITTED], and overall a pretty good dude.

Higglemas Wiggenstaff (he/him): Head of the Sidekick/Henchperson annex, cranky old elf. has a dog named hero who shows no signs of anything strange at all, ever.

Gary (he/him): friendly room gargoyle. pseudo-hivemind.

Groundsy (he/him): the groundskeeper. a pretty nice fellow. don't go in his shed.

Hernandez (he/him): beautiful centaur professor of animal handling.

Jimson (he/him): human battlegrounds trainer for sidekicks/henchpeople, world famous featherweight champion, wields a staff. married to crushman.

Crushman (he/him): silver dragonborn with a sickle, and self-described beefy boy! heavyweight blood champion married to jimson. never lost a match for 8 years. full name Frostus Crushman.

Rolandus Fontaine (he/him): former prince, son of deposed king, kind of an asshole, maybe. wears a cape (important detail)

Zana (she/her): "terrifying" tiefling villain sorcerer, friend of rolandus. barkept the test tavern in ep2

Rhodes (she/her): hero ranger, friend of rolandus.

Buckminster Eden (he/him): hero guy. son of "The Iron Lord". their dad is stronger than rolandus's dad. his wiki page says rogue so i think hes a rogue? i never caught that and ive listened more times than i wish i did

Leon (he/him): softspoken buff, bald "fighter" (although i dont remember any clarification on how exactly he fights), sidekick of buckminster, around 28. anyone else keep forgetting he's bald? i keep forgetting it. >!gets sorta-drafted into becoming a falcon for higglemas and so far hasn't done much else.!<

Rainer Michelle (she/her): cheerful villainous necromancer with a floating chair. also, her name is pronounced "rainier" despite not being confirmed as such? travis ships her with fitzroy.

Tomas (he/him): human man with "kind eyes" and a good (psychic???) memory. guidance counselor.

Stewart LeBoeuf (he/him): brawny human man. serves food. there is no joke here, i promise

Mulligan (he/him): teaches potions. mentioned but doesn't appear yet. and we're like 25 episodes in. maybe we'll see him someday

Germaine, Victoria, Rattles (he/him,she/her,???/???): Skeleton crew. They live in the training room i guess, and as a result can never die, because "no one dies in the training room!" (note: someone now HAS to die in the training room). also their races are never explicitly stated but i guess they're probably human? in episode 3 travis brings up something about how many bones are in "the human body" and at this point i think i'm looking too deep into this so i'll just forget about it and you probably should too.

Riveau (he/him): halfling, blame-taking teacher.

Mimi (they/them): gnome sidekick who builds cool robot prosthetics

Bartholemus (he/him): owl aarakocra accountant teacher, known for being the best accountant in the land and having a face some might describe as "smoochable". very pro capitalist :’( hope he gets better

Ramos (she/her): goliath teacher of shieldwork. *

Dip (she/her): sidekick, half-orc twin of pip

Pip (she/her): hero, half-orc twin of dip

Festo (they/them): fairy with "beautiful gossamer wings", independent study teacher of magic, loves to party

Snippers (he/him?): Let me tell you my story about Snippers the magic crab. When Travis gave the list of animals that Griffin could choose as Fitzroy's familiar's current form, he listed crab near the start, and this gave me excitement. Now i knew that crab was pretty unlikely but god i hoped that he would choose it. When the list went on- Bat, Cat, Crab, Frog, Hawk, Lizard, Owl, Poisonous Snake, Fish, Rat, Raven, Seahorse, Spider or Weasel- I nearly lost hope. I was hoping so hard that Griffin would choose the crab, but i was ready to accept a non-crab familiar. It was just buried in that list. It wasn't the most useful animal and it was an obscure pick. And as Travis informed him that it didn't have to keep the form for the whole campaign, Griffin said those five words i wanted to hear so, so badly. "Well then it's a crab." Folks, I do not often react physically when something happens in media. But in that moment, i remember very clearly, i fist-pumped and yelled, "YES!!!!!!"

so anyway, Fitzroy has a crab.

Jackle (he/him): kenku teacher of sneakery. creepy dude. apparently knows something about argo? also his name is not spelled "jackal" for some reason. Also in later episodes theyve started calling him "The Jackle" for some reason??? *

# -EPISODE 3- (1 character)

Dakota (they/them): tavern instructor, clad in black/red leather. no race stated? probably human. *

# -EPISODE 4- (6 characters)

Gerry & Tom (she/her, he/him): shopkeepers at barns and nobles who seem to have very bad names. also constantly competing for customers? these guys got dropped faster than the heathcliff quests, which is honestly just sad.

Barb (she/her): the bartender. runs Springs Eternal in Last Hope. has a sweet seeing-eye hawk familiar.

Jaryd Reginald (he/him): owner of Reginald Ore. Wants the workers to be held responsible for the damage caused by the xorn. (fun fact: originally i wrote down "Jerrod" because i wanted it to sound like a fantasy name, then realized it was probably "Jared" because theyre named after listeners, but i was pleased to find it confirmed that it's actually "Jaryd")

Candice (she/her): A Miner. thought those werent allowed in bars but, i guess not. Wants the mine owner to be held responsible for the xorn's damage.

Jade Johnson Esq. (she/her): lawyer.

# -EPISODE 5- (1 character)

Xorn: a big hungry gem eating guy from the plane of earth Low-Down Deep with 3 arms and 3 legs. why did travis just say "multi-armed" instead of specifying it was 3? who knows! Anyway it leaves

# -EPISODE 6- (3 characters)

Osric (he/him): the man, the myth, the bursar. finally shows up after being mentioned in episodes 2 and 4. he's an elf.

breeze through the willows (she/her): Pegasus attacked by demons, lost her parents. introduced in ep1 but gets a name here so fuck it. also in ep>!16!< we find out shes a "white arabian pegasus" and i dont think thats a spoiler bc we shouldve really known it from the beginning

Sabor (he/him): Librarian/research teacher. also a TORTLE. Really good at recalling stuff, i guess. kinda reminds me of Tomas's memory thing but i'm sure that's just a coincidence... *

Mosh (he/him): The goliath blacksmith who welcomes argo into the unbroken chain. Terence (he/him): a chain devil with a real demonic name. minor boss of the imps. very convincing and very threatening. has the frightening ability to make you zone out during his fight

Althea Song (she/her): elf with autumn-orange hair. representative from heroic oversight guild. i'd like to personally thank travis for spelling her name out.

Crabtree (she/her): Artificing teacher. Long gray hair with a long grey beard. no mentioned race, one might guess dwarf but that would be an assumption i suppose. also unbroken chain member, presumably the dwarf argo didn't recognize in episode 7.

Marie (she/her): Grey-haired elf woman. She's the school's physician, i guess. Member of the unbroken chain.

Dendra Maplecourt (she/her): Fitzroy's mom. Has hot mint gum, i guess. She was mentioned earlier but i wasn't convinced she was a real person until this episode

satyr thief (unnamed) (he/him): tries to rob thundermen, dies instantly

Ogre (he/him): teamed up with the satyr. his name is ogre.

Moon (he/him): A Sidekick. small pale sullen guy. no mentioned race. Why is there another FUCKING sidekick WE HAD ENOUGH hhhyuuuuuu

Deanna (she/her): A bigoted centaur with an obnoxious voice. Malwin the Strong's second in command.

Malwin the Strong (she/her): Leader of the centaurs of the scarlet woods. Wants to appease the spirit of the scarlet woods so that thecentaurs of the scarlet woods will be protected in the scarlet woods. Had a relationship with Arturas in the past but their clashes are currently known to get pretty heated.

Arturas (he/him): Leader of the Centaurs of the Valley, i guess. Had a relationship with Malwin. Centaur. Did i mention centaur? i cant think of anything else about this character

# -EPISODE 14- (2 characters)

Calhain (he/him): Human wizard, Malwin's magical advisor. Kind of an amateur wizard in a job high above his skill level. Graduated Wigginstaff's as a hero.

Spirit of the Scarlet Woods: A spirit who requires sacrifice in order to keep Malwin's herd safe and prosperous. Not keen on dubiously canonical combos, i guess. i wouldnt be either. also apparently the sacrifice depends on personal value, not how much value it has to the spirit.

Sylvia Nite (she/her): Fitzroy's magic theory teacher at knight night school, who he turned into a catfish by accident. oops!

Chaos (they/them, maybe more): Presumably a deity, gave Fitz his powers and wants him to give in to his chaotic desires. (physical desc: 9 foot tall, iridescent 'mother of pearl' skin, pure white eyes, fine burgundy cloak with gold/onyx lining. their physical form beyond that seems to change every time they show up.)

The Guardian: "An ancient and powerful being that guards the unknown forest." Has protected the flock from demons for many many years. apparently is the voice that was talking to our firbolg in episode 1?

Grey, the Demon Prince (he/him): wants to cause a war, originally wanted to kill hiero and higgs, forces the heroes to build an army to fight his. As "Fauxronimous", he has skin the *color and pattern of* (but not necessarily made of) slate splashed with liquid, pointed ears, sharp teeth, shining eyes, horns of unspecified shape. 12 fucking feet tall. wonder if the slate-looking skin is related to garys. plot twist detected? Also i recently looked at the episode descriptions and found out his name is spelled "Gray", but really does it truly matter?

# -EPISODE 19- (2 characters)

Shabree Keene (she/her): Argo's mom, killed on the Mariah, possibly by the Commodore. Long auburn hair, green eyes. Mentioned earlier but described here, so fuck it.

**Thomas** (he/him): Argo's first mate on the Mariah, as the Kraken, in his chaos-dream. may or may not actually exist.

# -EPISODE 20- (1 character)

The Commodore (he/him): Reknowned hero of the seas, military regalia, great naval hero, presumably responsible for the death of Shabree Keene. No mentioned race. Seriously, they never mention this guy's race. The only thing described about him is how he's dressed and his evil smile. Does that mean he's human? Elf? Dwarf??? Who knows! maybe it just doesnt matter.

Ozymondelius (sp???) (it/its): A warforged teacher who just so happens to like war or something? i guess its in the name. only mentioned in this episode, doesnt show up yet.

Gherkin (he/him): Tall lankier skeleton, has a scimitar and a merkin, which is a pubic wig... and he wears a jerkin? which i guess is a kind of coat? also i think hes mute

Tibia (she/her?) : Shorter skeleton with gold teeth, and long canines. i think both of the skeletons are mute actually.

The Lich King aka Gordy (he/him): Rainer's dad. Commands armies of the undead. lives in The Crypt. described as a hooded, skull-faced man with intricate black lines on his face, but changes to a shaved-head man with dark skin and vetiligo. Abandoned as a babby, raised by traveling parents, had necromancy powers, took Rainier in. Not actually very scary at all i don't know why he did the creepy laugh. Kind of a warm fatherly figure actually. hm. also people are speculating Gordy might be short for Gordita and his parents are maybe supposed to be lup and barry but THAT S JUST A THEORY.

our firbolg's father (he/him): A firbolg who lived by the code and was there when our firbolg was banished. Came to respect our firbolg's interest in a new way of life, in his final moments.

TOTAL: 72 NPCS! (well, including 2 extra PCs, i guess.)

Average: 2.88 NPCs per episode.

i was gonna not include the bone-PCs and have it be 69 but our firbolg's dad was just too important to not respect with a spot on the list.

⭐️ Dancing on your own is cool n' beans but- Dancing with someone else? Now, it's twice the fun! Cynet would 100% try and get Vaas to dance with her (and not just once). Any dance, any moves, any genre — it doesn't matter, as long as they be grooving 🕺 She'll likely try her luck whenever there's some time to spare and music to dance, AND when Vaas is in a good mood; especially if he's tipsy. Or she is 🤭 Though, to be fair, if Cyn's tipsy, then nobody (even Santiago) is safe from her "dancing advances".

⭐️ Listen; that baby loves to sew and makes stuff for others. And the mo-ment Cyn learns that Santiago likes spiders and has any spare fabric on her hands you KNOW, she gonna make him like... A spider related shirt, or bandana or whatever. Sew on a lil' spider or a spider's web (she's not the best at embroidery — not enough patience — but she can embroider very simple things). Vaas is gonna get something with (*cough*edgy*cough*) a skull or a knife 🤣 Don't want him to feel left out.

Watch her haul crates n' fix random stuff that needs fixing (her field of expertise might be cars, but she's good at tinkering/handiwork in general). "Jinx? Uh, well, she's...one of a kind." And that's maybe a bit of an understatement. "She's...I like her. She's a great friend and she's...I really like her hair. Those braids are, like, so cool. And...her eyes are beautiful and...she's, like, really pretty in general."

She's rambling, isn't she? And she's avoiding the core of the question. The worst part, however, is that she's sounding a lot like her brother to her own ears and that's just lame.

"I think that she's very smoochable. Objectively. Alright, maybe not everyone would want to, because she'd probably scared them off, but...One you get past that? She's still crazy, but in a, like, rad way."

She has a crush and she's pretty sure that, by now, the people who have seen the two of them together have to know. As for Jinx...Summer hopes she doesn't know. Yet.

"Uh, I'd say...9? Plus some extra points because I bet that she's a pretty wild kisser. ...Not that I've spent time thinking about it!"

Oh, she has. Too much time for her linking.

The question leaves Rick feeling both amused and a little nervous, even if he wouldn't admit the second part even under torture. It's not a mix of emotions he's used to, especially not when it comes to potential sexual partners. He's more than navigated by now, he's slept with beings of all shapes and sizes. Thinking about how kissable someone is shouldn't affect him much, if at all.

But Silco isn't just a random someone, is he?

The nature of their relationship is still uncertain, still shifting. Rick likes to think that they are on mostly friendly terms, close to be actual friends...which is a great achievement, considering the kind of person his business partner is. Still, damn if he doesn't wish that he could push those boundaries a little furthers.

"W-Well, damn. I-I'll be honest, it's a little hard to tell." A snort. "I-It depends on whether or not I-I've pissed him off an-and how much. T-The guy has this real fuckin' charismatic aura an-and I won't lie, I'm really into that. An-And it makes me wonder what he looks like w-when he goes completely unhinged."

He's not sure of what to imagine, not down to the details, but the ice cold fire he has seen burning in Silco's eyes the few times he had gotten really mad at him...That's one hell of a hot look on the other man.

"I-I'm calling him a 8 when he's calm and collected. An-And 9 and a half when he's pissed. G-Gotta love all that passion."

The Case of the Mystery Man

Lup is the first to notice the difference, but she usually is. Her brother may be more dramatic than a high school theater’s production of ‘Oklahoma’, but he keeps the real stuff on the low until he has a handle on it. So at first, it’s the little things. The way Taako spaces out while stirring his morning coffee, how he lets Angus out of the house in clashing patterns with minimal complaint, the soft sighs that come right out of thin air that he tries and fails to cover with a cough.

“I think Taako’s got a man friend,” Lup tells Barry one night when the clues had finally stacked up into something plausible. They’re laying bed together; Barry’s nearly asleep and he cracks a blurry eye open to look at his partner.

“Stands to reason,” he yawns. “Taako’s a friendly type of guy.”

“I mean like, a smoochable friend, babe,” Lup says. “And that’s cool and all, but I think he might be a ghost.”

There’s a silent moment as Barry’s eyebrows knit together. Then he throws an arm onto the bedside table and grabs his glasses. “Explain,” he says.

“Well, I don’t have proof,” Lup says. “But I can’t find any dirt about this guy, no names, no records, and also Taako hasn’t actually said anything about him which means he’s either a secret operative working for the FBI and any knowledge about him or his whereabouts could get us all killed, or he’s a ghost of some kind.”

“Babe,” Barry said, wrapping a sleepy arm around Lup’s waist. “Taako’ll tell you about him when he’s ready.”

“The issue isn’t that my one and only twin brother won’t tell me about his new boyfriend,” Lup muttered into Barry’s neck. “It’s that his new boyfriend is an international super spy. Also possibly a mutant.”

“I’m sure he is,” Barry yawned.

Lup kept a note saved on her phone documenting the continuing saga. Once, Taako came home at an abysmally early hour, which happened to coincide with a sleepless night on Lup’s part, resulting in a brief exchange.

“What’s his name?”

“Goodnight sister dear.”

And then Taako wandered into his room and shut the door tight.

It had become such an infuriating escapade that Lup found she only had one form of recourse. She compiled her evidence, stole her courage, and knocked on Angus’ door.

The boy detective, eyes alight with innocence and possibilities, asked her to sit down at his desk. It was small, perfect for Angus’ but Lup’s knees bumped up against the wood. Magnus had made it for him and form the looks of the stacks of paper and files, it was getting a fair use.

“So here’s the deal-“ Lup started but Angus held up a hand. He reached into his desk drawer and pulled out a lavender envelope. He looked around suspiciously before sliding it across the table to Lup. On the front, scrawled in black sharpie, were the words ‘Taako’s Love Life.’

“What?” Angus said in response to Lup’s shocked expression. “You’re not the only one with questions. It’s not much,” he gestured to the envelope. “But it’s all I have so far.”

Lup tore the seal and dug out the few pieces of evidence Angus had collected. It was more than she had, that was certain. A tape-record, a phone call history, even some photographs. They were blurry, clearly taken from a great distance, but Lup would recognize Taako’s Audrey Hepburn hat anywhere. In front of him stood a man, laughing.

“His name is Kravitz,” Angus said. “But that’s all I have so far, ma’am.”

“Lup tucked the evidence back into the folder and passed it across the table. “For the record, you probably shouldn’t spy on my brother little dude,” she said, standing up. “But thanks for the intel. I’ll be in touch.”

Summary: (Request) I was hoping I could request this au with Jason. 'I’m on the FBI’s most-wanted list for killing a fuck ton of people, but calm down I just wanna date you bc your face is v smoochable and you give me butterflies.’ And with him being the most wanted one please?

“Fuck, fuck, fuck...FUCK!”

Jason tossed himself out his apartment window as fast as he could, grabbing as many weapons as possible. He saw the flashing lights grow closer. “Ah! Motherfuckers!” He slid down the fire escape, jumping the last couple feet. I know I’ve killed a lot of people, but they were assholes. I was doing you bitches a favor, Jason thought angrily.

Jason searched the ally for the trap door he hid his motorcycle in. He began to scavenge frantically, worried the cops would get here soon, until he finally found it. Thanking god, he hopped on as fast as he could, threw his gun bag over his shoulder, and sped away, sirens approaching the building he just escaped from. He quickly glanced over his shoulder, chuckling in relief, and made his way to the Batcave. Hopefully Bruce wouldn’t be home.

Before he made his escape, he made one last check to make sure the police weren’t on his tail, and he caught the eyes of a girl leaning out of her window, her face distorted in confusion. Shit, Jason almost couldn’t turn and take his eyes off of her, but he pulled away. Her face etched into his memory.

You lived in a crappy neighborhood, sirens blaring at all sorts of hours, so when you watched as a fleet of cop cars sped down your street, you just sipped your tea and continued reading your newspaper. You barely glanced at the motorcycle that sped away from the directions the police went. It wasn’t until you read a bit about the FBI’s most-wanted, you did a double take. You leaned over your windowsill, trying to get a better look at the motorcyclist.

From what you could see, it looked like the menace, Red Hood. Red Hood was #5 on the FBI’s most-wanted list and he just drove past your house. He looked at you for what seemed like years until he turned right down the street, fleeting from your vision.

The police came knocking not even five minutes after you lost sight of the criminal. They had gone down the street banging on doors, asking if anyone had seen the Red Hood and where he may have gone. You cracked your door open when they knocked.

“Yes?”

“Ma’am, sorry for the inconvenience, but we are searching from the criminal, Red Hood. He was last spotted in the building next to yours, and seemed to have fled before the police arrived on the scene. Do you have any information,” the cop asked tiredly. He seemed to have given up hope.

“Yes,” you stated blankly. The cop’s face perked up.

“Really? What? What can you give us?”

“I saw him turn left down Santanino road.” He turned right. “I think he might have been on a motorcycle,” he was, “but I can’t remember.” You lied. You didn’t know why you lied, maybe you were scared, but you did and it was too late to try and take it back.

“Thank you ma’am!” He pulled his radio close to his mouth and repeated your statement into it. “You’ve been a huge help.”

“Mhm,” you nodded and shut your door. “Mhm,” you hummed to yourself. You couldn’t figure out exactly what prompted you to falsify fact to the police. This was a man on the FBI’s most-wanted list! What on Earth were you thinking?

“Master Jason, we’ll house you for a little while, until you can find a new safe house.” Alfred set down a plate with a sandwich and some fruit. “Eat up, you’ll want your energy when you explain to Master Bruce what happened.”

“Ain’t that the trust,” Jason snickered. He began stuffing his face with the food and Titus scooted closer to him. “No, Titus. Go beg Damian, this is mine.” The dog gave Jason a sad gaze. “Ugh, alright! Here,” he tossed the giant dog some ham, “Now go!”

“Todd! Don’t feed my dog,” Damian shouted as he sauntered into the room.

“Take better care of your pet,” Jason sneered. Damian stalked over to him and punched his brother. “You did NOT just fucking hit me.” Damian threw him a pointed look.

“That’s it!”

Bruce walked into the family room, after changing, to find Jason and Damian in an all out brawl. Dick and Tim sat to the side watching, enjoying themselves far too much. “What is going on here?,” Bruce’s voice boomed through the room. The boys stopped and Dick and Tim’s smiles were gone in a millisecond. “Jason, what are you doing here?”

“Well, that’s a funny story...”

After Jason finished, Bruce just let out a prolonged sigh of annoyance. He visibly thought carefully about what to say next. “Jason,” he began, “I don’t think you should go one patrol for awhile.” Jason scoffed. “Hear me out. You’ll have a target on your back for, maybe, two weeks, before they let it go and usually move on to the next bad guy on their list.” Bruce grabbed Jason shoulder, “I know it won’t be easy, but it’s the best option. Please. And if you don’t, you won’t be welcomed here.”

Jason considered it. He chose not to fight, this time. “Fine, two weeks, that’s it. Then I’ll be back out here and no longer in your hair,” Jason scoffed. He wasn’t going to go on patrol, that he promised, but he definitely was going to go out to see that girl again. She just...wouldn’t leave his thoughts alone. “Yeah, it’s a deal.” Jason shook Bruce’s hand.

It had been a week and Red Hood was still a hot topic, especially in your neighborhood. Somehow, all those goddamn gossips had found out you gave the police a statement. They wouldn’t leave you alone.

“Y/N, did you see his face?”

“Oo, Y/N, was he big and scary?”

“How’d you know it was him?”

“Literally, piss off. I’ve had a long ass day at work and I just want to go home!” You looked at their offended faces and grimaced. “Please,” you plead softly.

The women scoffed. “Whatever, we will talk to you later,” one of them pouted and they all flounced off.

You slipped into your home, avoiding any and all people you could. You just wanted to enter your home, change, eat, then fall asleep. That last one might be a little outlandish, but one could hope. You hadn’t been sleeping well due to Red Hood. He clouded your dreams, and it always shook you out of sleep. It was that helmet of his that gave you the nightmares. In your dreams, you felt like you were just out of reach of this terrifying, blank face that was the color of your blood. You were only a stray bullet away or a single hand’s reach out of harms way.

You changed into your pajamas and started to make mac and cheese. You had turned on the news to fill the silence while you cooked. You only caught bits and pieces of what the news-anchors were saying,

“Red Hood is still at large-”

“Last spotted in-”

“Citizens are urged to remain calm-”

“Bullshit,” you muttered. You wiped your hands on a towel and strode over to change the channel. You glanced out the window when you turned back to your mac and cheese, and a figure was on the roof across the way. You did a double take, blaming your lack of sleep for giving you visions, but your original thought was correct. A person was stood in the darkness on the roof next to yours, and, from what you could tell, they were staring into your home.

“Fuck me...”

When Bruce and his little patrol gang left for the night, Jason changed into his Red Hood suit. He snuck down the staircase and made a break for the garage, where his motorcycle was on lock down.

“Master Jason, I believe you aren’t supposed to be going on patrol for another week.” Alfred caught him red handed.

Jason groaned and turned to the butler. “I’m not going on patrol,” he exclaimed.

“Your outfit would beg to differ.” Alfred raised his eyebrows at the boy.

“I’m not going on patrol,” he stressed, “I’m just going out to check on someone.” Alfred looked at him, giving him his Really? look. “Really! Look, no guns! Please Alfie, it won’t be long.”

“I didn’t know you left.”

“Thanks,” Jason beamed before slipping on his helmet.

Jason had perched himself on a building across from the window that he found you staring at him. He watched and waited for a couple hours before he saw you walk in. His gaze never left your form, except for when you disappeared into what he assumed to be your bedroom. Jason stared at your face for as long as he could, memorizing the details. Every part of you was just...perfect. His stomach just fluttered at the thought of his lips on yours.

“What is she doing to me?” He leaned further over the edge of the roof. His heart ached with just the need to be near you. “God, help me.”

He watched as you walked closer to the window. Jason got the best view of you that entire night when you stared back at him. “Damn.” He couldn’t stop himself, he didn’t know what he was doing anymore. You just had such a powerful grip on him and you didn’t even know.

Jason grappled to the fire escape next to your window. He slipped through the open window. He walked closer to you excitedly, then he noticed your face. You were frozen in complete and utter terror.

“Are-are you okay? Miss,” Jason tried to set a gentle hand on your arm, but you flinched away causing him to snatch his hand back. “Is something wrong?”

“R-re-red Ho-hood,” you stuttered. You began to shake violently. Your worst nightmares were coming true. Red Hood has come to kill you. You started to panic, a mix of fear and exhaustion. You stumbled backwards, falling in an attempt to flee.

“Hey, hey! What’s wrong? Are you okay?”

“Kill. You kill. You are here to kill me,” you somehow managed to say. You scooted on your butt towards your front door.

“Wha-no! No, I’m not here to kill you!” Jason watched as you halted and your face contorted in shock. “I-I’m here to, to uh,” he felt his face heat up under his helmet. “Well, you’re really cute and you seem very kissable and I wanna date you,” he rushed out, the butterflies in his stomach felt like a storm. He took off his helmet to cool down. His sapphire eyes burned into yours, for he had forgotten to put on his domino mask.

You were lost in the sea of blue, your mind couldn’t form a coherent thought. “Bu-but you’ve killed so many people,” this was the best argument you could come up with. You weren’t sure how to feel, but the man looking down at you wasn’t a vicious, cold-blooded killer.

“Yeah,” Jason chuckled, “but I think that can change.” He looked at you hopefully, his hand reaching out to help you up.

You stared at the man for a long time before you felt as though you could make a decision. And even then,

“I don’t know.”
