I’m just. I’m so tired, yall. It’s 2022, are we still STARTING conversations (particularly conversations with actors) by talking about their bodies? Especially in the past tense??? Are you fully aware that an actor is not a separate entity from their body? Have we not been having the whole ~body positivity~ conversation for like 2 decades at this point? Are there really people who haven’t heard ScarJo’s comments re:rabbit food on the Avengers press tour? Has no one been paying attention to ANYTHING Zac Efron has said in the last 3-4 years?

 And the thing that killed me is that this interviewer only got to ask like 3.5 questions. Bro, you had to be so intentional and selective about what to ask and THAT is the most important/interesting thing you could come up with??

And like, I’m aware that I, personally, am probably much more sensitive to shit like this than Mr. Batey, himself. And that’s good! Healthy, even. And I swear, I do know that that dude is a grown-ass man who doesn’t need a random tumblr user to fight this one interviewer that was just doing their job. Just??? Stop making unsolicited comments about other people’s bodies??? It’s simply not that hard. Even if you’re just trying to flatter them, there are a million other ways to give someone a compliment, I swear to god!

I wanna clear some things up that appeared as questions multiple times:

William has no villain/toxic role in the story. He can't even be considered an antagonist. He's really just some guy Val meets during his time in Central. Will is very interested in Val and they really have good chemistry! But to Val, he's sadly just a distraction and he's the reason why Val fully realizes his feelings for Casther's (he knew he liked Casther a lot, but just not.... that much)

Him and William have a good time tho and these few months they spent together are a bit crucial for Val's self-confidence, but also for Val reevaluating what's really important to him in life. They have some rather posh months where Val savors being wanted, noble and also free (after all he has been at Briggs for years). But eventually he realizes some things that lead to him returning to the fort.

Will is just a good guy and no way toxic or anything. He eventually knows that Val isn't interested in him the same way, but he'd still give Val the world.

After Val goes back to Briggs (they have a good talk where Val comes clean with him), they stay in contact and eventually become good friends. They both specialize in different medical fields, so they sometimes ask each other for advice.

Will never gets over Val 100% (me neither dude 😔✊️), but he will find someone who shares his feelings. So he won't be heartbroken for the rest of his life by the fact that he lost to Mr. Stinky Man.

And btw, Will and Casther do meet eventually 👀
