LORILLEE IS BACK WITH PHOTOSHOP ART 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥#every now and again i like to put effort into something just to remind everybody that i can actually draw#well i say that but to be honest i put a lot of effort into those ms paint ''diego fey REAL'' doodles#but half of that is just because humans are a . something. to draw. and urban backgrounds are my worst nemesis#and also trying to work with ms paint to like slightly transform things is an incredible pain in the behind#anyways. yeagh 😎👍 behold the power of miego. getting me to actually finish something in photoshop for the first time in months#anyways. ive discovered the secret to getting me to draw stuff on photoshop. prepare yourselves accordingly#what i need to do is sketch & line something in ms paint. and then directly trace it over into photoshop#and then i can go ham#see because the reason i never did this before was because i would sketch things in ms paint#and try to line them in photoshop and it simply Wouldnt Work.#so i had assumed that if i wanted to draw in photoshop id have to sketch in it first. yknow. which i cannot do for some reason#something about the way the pen feels and the . its like the smoothing setting is on even when its on 0 percent. you know. anyways#but with this one i drew mia in ms paint as per usual . and i wanted to mess around with color & light#and i triedddd to do it in ms paint but unfortunately as you can probably imagine. doing stuff like this without layer filters#can get a little difficult. if you know what youre doing its obviously going to be easier but that being said i do not#when i pick colors i am literlaly just wildly guessing 😭🙏 which is fine for more straightforward coloring/shading#but not quite here. which is why i wanted to take a stab at it in the first place#so anyways i was like FINE WHATEVER and tried tracing the lineart in photoshop so i could take a stab at coloring in there#and i was . enlightened. (no pun intended). it WORKS#so anyways . you may actually be able to expect. some photoshop art from me#well ok thats a lie never expect art from me. but we can all dream together#anyways they really are the star-crossed doomed by the narrative romance ever. everything to me

i need a drawfee archive that's got every stupid funny moment documented in chronological, alphabetized order for when i spontaneously remember a really obscure bit that i need to find or else i'll explode. i need to be able to type an extremely vague description in a search bar and have it understand me completely.
#slight tangent but a part of me wants to learn how to edit comps just so i can make one of all their parody song bits#theyre so dumb and they bring me such joy#you could prolly get a 20 minute video thats JUST mr brightside references lol#anyway for context#i had a memory of someone drawing the same image twice pop into my head with no prompting whatsoever#all i could remember was that the colors were funky and the images were droopy?? and im 93% sure it was jacob#and it was too off the rails for me to easily link it to a specific challenge or thumbnail#all i knew is that it felt kinda recent so i spent like 20 minutes scrolling the timeline of every video starting 9 months ago#and i did find it! much easier to find when its within a year thank god. its from 'making art out of our worst spam emails'#specifically jacobs section. and id say the 20 minutes was worth it. the duplication and immediate fade in of the render will always send m#so ye go watch it if youve got nothing else to do. help me justify the time cost lol#drawfee#sea rambles

I don't know if this is going to sound demanding but shouldn't you like take a break for a Day or 3 with all this writing your doing
Not gonna lie you probably making some straight fire rn but is it dew time for a break?
0h 100% I need a break- but taking breaks is... hard for me; stubbornness and watching dead lines creep closer and stuff--- would take a break in an instant if we weren't rapidly barreling to October 😭😭
I am trying to lessen the load, though! (Closing requests, putting large non deadlined writing projects on back burners, ect) so I can focus on the heavy stuff so theres... less down the line... cuz I KNOW imma get worse the closer we march to October 😭😭😭
I do plan to take my trip out of state next month as an excuse to take a couple days off though :3 mweheheheheh
As a /lh note I've learned my lesson!! Next year I am NOT going to do 2 October writing challenges at once- idc if I started prepping in January I'm still going through kt!!!! Also a 3 month break after constant writing for 9 months just to do it again does not at all sound appealing LMAO
Maybe I'll set some time aside and do some drawing soon

a character design feature i actually really like is showing associations through similar colors, patterns, pieces of clothing, styles, etc but because of the nature of mcyt (constantly switching associations, have designs of their own beforehand, i cant be assed to keep drawing them differently everytime they decide to team/ally with someone else) i p much decided to limit it but now that i dont care for consistency i think im gonna start incorporating that into my designs
#they would probs have a sort of base design for when theyre going solo#but like if theyre teaming/heavily allying with someone id be more willing to draw those little things now unlike before#i actually hate designing for mcytbers cause on one hand i Want them to be recognizable to ppl who know them and also to myself#but limiting yourself too much would suck esp considering. lbr a good number of mc skins are either ugly or boring#but on the other hand theres so many things you can do with them that are fun but if you do too many would render them unrecognizable#and thats not even taking into account the fact i have my own mc lore#so its basically a balancing act that would be infinitely easier if i can actually be consistent in my art but alas i am not#so i give up being consistent cause thats just not who i am lol#mine.txt#my posts

Are you just naturally pale or is it lead paint/lead makeup? (A side note of, I’m so glad to see this blog active again)
Although I do experiment with the make up periodically, especially with Miss Michiko. Maybe it would be better for me to use it now since I would not have to worry about the side-effects.
