I want to say my opinion on the btd gomenne gomenne fan game , i basicly have no leg to stand on but this is just my view on it

*I think ppl often forget alot of the Loud minority of gatos fanbase has sorta parasocial relationship with her since at one point gato was very active in her fanbase offten answering questions on the spot and constantly liking fanart and leaving comments, something not alot of creator's do ( i know the creator of sally face interacts with their own fandom too!)

But bc gatos fanbase is so niche the small amount of ppl assum she approves of everylittle thing or knows about every protect/merch ect She doesn't , it apperse to me shes often the last one to hear the news. If even(?)

And a STRANGE AMOUNT of thoes ppl thinking its canon or cant get THAT version of your character out of their head/ fan art /wrighting untill eventually its a fanon

Even WHEN a fangame is a perfect (like said fangane) because one person dose it , some ppl with bad intention will use this as an excuse to make a upsetting fangame and wont REALY get in trouble.

Hell even ppl with good intention could do the same and completely miss interpret the characters yk??

To be Inspired by a work dosent mean to use the characters or plot, just like referencing when drawing ! Example, OFF and undertail was Earthbound inspired but they both dont use any characters ect OVER THE GARDEN WALL Was inspired by Dante's Inferno! But its not the same characters pulled out and used

I personaly believe stuff like that , what happened before and even in other fandom is why gato has that particular rule about not wrighting her characters at length. Not wanting to take the risk of someone miss using her characters again! /lh

Its not like gatos shy when saying she didnt creative ren, she was given him and modified him and still lets ppl know she didnt crate him .

Some of them use that as a talking point to say that said fangame creator is fine using that character in particularly as if hes free use, i DONT understand as someone who sells characters /designs(?)

The fangame devs are very talented the game seems fine from what i hurd! They did take creative liberties but its still very much gatos characters, I think they where respectable with them even in the contex of said game! . But i find it weird that the post says fanart for their fan game is appreciate ( at least in the English post i found prompting it) fan art of a fan game is confusing and i see how some ppl might mix the two up! Know?? like what would even be the tags? 'Sorrysorrybtd?' :0 So i can see how that could be another reason for the rule!

Could you do a meta on the similarities between Labyrinth (1986) and the Shadow and Bone Trilogy? I read through that one scene (Alina and Darkling Interactions on your blog) between Alina and the Darkling after her and Mal get captured and Alina has to bargain for his life and they speak about fairness and the way the public views them both (Chapter 21 of the first book, I believe). I vaguely remembered this type of conversation from another piece of media, and saw in your tags that you attributed it to Labyrinth. Honestly wondering how much the movie influenced the trilogy, as I feel like Alina was supposed to be a Sarah Williams type of character but got her character development strangled by the narrative. Honestly wondering if this makes Mal Toby (romance aside), because Alina fought hard for this man and chose him over the ‘glamorous’ life she could have lived with the guy with powers (Darkling/Jareth). Genya might be Hoggle (works for the bad guy before becoming loyal to the protagonist). Maybe this is all a stretch?

I've watched Labyrinth once, and didn't enjoy it, so I was considering passing this on someone else, but since you've delved into details, I just HAD TO rewatch it, because I can't stand not knowing what's going on! So, I'll type as a watch and this will get veeeeeery long.

First of all- I hate those ugly-ass puppets and scenes. I find them creepy, and not in the good way. I totally don't get the ?US? obsession with them, and yes- I've hated Sesame Street, when it got imported here, and I've always hated Czech attempts at copying such production (Táhni, Františku z Fanfárie a Jůheláci taky, když už jsme u toho.).

I feel like Labyrinth is one of those movies, where fanon became widely-accepted canon, because I just can't see plenty of stuff allegedly present.

Alina and Sarah certainly have two things in common- they live in their own version of the world, and they're unbearably immature spoiled brats, even though you'd expect more from them their age considered. Yet somehow, Sarah's so unreasonably whiny, she almost makes me love Alina. Perhaps if we'd age her up a little and gave her potentially world-saving powers, she could've taken the S02show!psycho's place. They seem more alike than the book girl.

I mean... I don't like children, and I wouldn't be such a bitch to a ?one? year old...

Sorry, but a scene earlier I saw her room. I watch her father respect her privacy. Her evil step mother being nothing but polite and non-threatening. I come from a loving family, and I've been keeping eye on my eight-years-younger brother since he was born. And no, she doesn't get a pass as a moody teenager. This is a spoiled brat behaviour.

Sarah's straight up lying to make herself the victim. That's very Alina. Or more precisely- it's very Alina's new mommy Ol' Bags, but then again it's been said before Alina would grow into Baghra in time.

Alina had her immortality and complementary powers, but what does Jareth see in Sarah is beyond me.

Sarah says she wants her brother back, but honestly- it sounds more like she doesn't want to get in trouble because of him. I don't know if it's only the acting, or if it's intentionally portrayed so, but she doesn't look like someone, who just realized they care about someone else.

It might be the whiny undertone in her voice. Irritating, if anything.

Jareth and Sarah have the fairness conversation, when he shortens her time to punish her for her defiance. Aleksander and Alina's take place, when he wants her to face consequences of her own actions and accept responsibility. He's the wronged one there, because she didn't consider anyone or anything, when she chose to trust Baghra and ran off.

Sarah gets Hoggle to follow her by stealing his stuff. She gets the doorknockers to let her in by tricking the mumbling one into taking the unpleasant ring back into his mouth and doesn't even try to pull it out again, or knock without it attached. She's rather cruel in her thoughtlessness, isn't she?

Aleksander never shames Genya for wanting to be Alina's friend. He never blackmails her to help him. She's the one, who provokes his rightful wrath for no good reason.

I think Jareth might be what LB (sometimes) wants us to see in Aleksander. Except it's hardly what she shows by his actions, only what her characters describe.

Another difference- Aleksander doesn't only want Alina, he needs her for his plan to save his people. Jareth merely has the worst possible taste in women.

Okay, the dog making hoof-clopping noises also isn't the worst idea.

I'm kinda sorry Aleksander never tried to poison/drug Alina. That might be fun. Even the collaring couldn't really make her compliant, so he's technically nicer even in this aspect. I can see antis claiming he tried to woo her by showing her the splendor of Little Palace and giving her the centre role in Winter Fete, but the former wasn't different from Grisha in officer training, the later was the Crown's doing. He's even said to despise such events.

Sarah is a modern teenager. Alina's considered adult in her world. I got to the ball scene, where it's painfully obvious Sarah is a child in adult's clothes and make-up. I'm a bit surprised she was played by an actual teenager.

Alina starts off willing to do anything for Malyen, and ends up becoming just what he wants. Sarah starts off selfishly bullying a baby, only to turn 180° as soon as he's stolen, so excuse I'm not persuaded she means it. She doesn't manage it in next hour and half.

~ I have to face him alone. - But why? ~ Because that's the way it's done.

The logic is very Alina, but she never insists on facing the Darkling alone, except that one time she attempts murder/suicide.

Again, that's no Aleksander at all. He didn't want to rule Alina, he wanted to rule alongside her. He only tried to force her once she endangered his plans for his country and people.

He never promised her everything she's want, because the only thing she seems to want is to be left alone to live in obscurity with no expectations placed on her.

He doesn't want her to fear him and she never does. He doesn't even crave people's fear. He uses it as a tool, when there's no better option.

He doesn't mind Alina defying him, finds it attractive actually, as long as it doesn't ruin- once again- his plans for Ravka and Grisha protection.

The slave line actually reminds me of much better representation of book!Aleksander- I Wanna Be Your Slave by Måneskin.

I was pretty sure I've seen Cinema Therapy episode on Labyrinth I deeply agreed with, but can't find it, so... :(

OKAY, I can answer this one!

I'm happy that the whole fandom turned around on Fanon Masky recently (at least, I believe it must have been recently considering Cheesecake Masky was a thing before I 'left' the fandom), since that version of him is a bit problematic lol

If you've watched Marble Hornets, then you'll know that Masky and Hoody are REALLY scary (seriously, I had nightmares about Masky for absolute weeks), and work against the Operator. However 'fanon' Masky is a loyal employee of Slenderman/The Operator (I'm gonna make a post addressing the differences one day), and isn't really all that scary?? From what I remember, he was mainly joked about as being the 'Sensible one' of the Proxy trio (Him, Hoody and Toby), who was basically the dude always tired of their bullshit. Not only is this the complete opposite of how Masky is, as he would NEVER work FOR his enemy, who literally ruined his life from childhood, but it also sort of flanderised him and no longer made him scary, which is something the Creepypasta fandom tends to do a lot lmao

Another thing is his sudden change of character design. A lot of old Creepypasta fanart depicting him from 2013-2017 show him with lighter brown hair and a yellow jacket, which isn't what he looks like at all?? Actual Masky has much darker hair and I don't think he's ever seen with that ugly ass highlighter coloured jacket.

There's also the complete change in his body type, definitely one of the most controversial things about Fanon Masky. Let me first say that I do not believe that Tim Sutton (Masky's original actor) is fat, I'm not sure WHERE the old Creepypasta fandom got that idea from. Fandom in general, especially the Creepypasta fandom, is quite 'fatphobic' from my experience. What this basically means is that if you're not a skinny twink you will be body shamed in every way possible. The Creepypasta character market has always been oversaturated with men who basically were twinks, with slim and pale bodies, such as Jeff the Killer.

I believe that making Masky so thin came from the fact that when the Creepypasta fandom really took off around 2013-ish, a lot of Creepypasta fans looked for content and eventually I believe that a lot of them must have stumbled across Marble Hornets. Upon seeing Masky and Hoody, two characters that could have passed off as Creepypasta characters (as most of the other characters in Marble Hornets looked like ordinary people), the fandom probably adopted them and adapted them to 'their tastes', no matter how good they were or not. It might have also been a game of telephone too, as maybe a Creepypasta fan's friend of a friend told them some info about Masky and they misunderstood and instead of who Masky actually was, saw him more as the silly goofy masked guy. And to be honest, I don't think the Creepypasta fandom has ever really been known for actually doing their research, so that misconstrued version of him just became canon in everyones minds.

Not that it was always that innocent though...

One titular thing about fanon Masky was his strange love of Cheesecake. I myself saw a lot of it in 2016 sewed into every bit of content for his character, and was confused on where it came from. Then, I found out that it was meant to be a joke SHAMING him for 'being fat'. I originally stumbled across this for the first time in a satire comic, where one of the panels is Hoody chastising Masky for eating cheesecake, stating that Masky will become fat. The cheesecake joke is one I've seen in some fandoms before, albeit in different ways and with different foods. For the life of me I cannot figure out why everyone decided to associate him with Cheesecake, but everyone just did.

Fanon Masky is a perfect example on how fandoms can flanderise characters to the point where they're unrecognisable; pull up a picture of Masky in the Marble Hornets and then a Masky fanart from 2015. The difference is STAGGERING. The Creepypasta fandom is very much infamous for flanderising characters, such as making Jeff a misunderstood bad boy, Toby a waffles-obsessed manchild, and Masky a Slenderman-loving, Crayons and Paper-having, Toby-hating, Cheesecake-eating twink.

TL;DR: Fanon Masky was made as a shitty misconstrued fat joke.

well besides Kaikaina being confirmed to be Bisexual, and she can make that whole "bi-phase excuse" all she wants, she can't hide the fact she's into girls as well...

but anyway Fan-Headcanon about Nerris and Ruby, is that Nerris is a Nonbinary-Girl and their pronouns are She/They.

and Ruby Rose is Transgender and Asexual, oh yeah and she is Nonbinary as well, but it is a part of herself she has yet to fully discover.

Kaikaina being like another Big Sister Figure to Ruby, could be interesting in a fan fic.

anyway I don't really have a name for that Hellhound that is suppose to be OC, doesn't really have a name, but I might have her appear in That "Third Bride Of The Garden" over at Quotev, just not right now but maybe later on...which means this drawing could end up as one of the covers for the future chapters of that story.

and I might end up add a bit more worlds to Crossover into that story.

it might be weird, but I couldn't help but like the idea about Older-Mugman and Clara being ship together, even if it is in a fanon timeline and the ship isn't canon.

if they got married, Mugman's Mother-In-Law would be a Overlord.

the female version of Moxxie, who can be thought of as a version from one of those Alternate Universes in one of the Fanon Timeline.

her name is Moxxanne, like being a mix of Mox and Roxanne put together.

Moxxanne has her Mother's Flower in her hair, and her outfit is a bit different from her Canon Male Counterpart...

and I don't think any of the other Female versions of Moxxie, would have their outfit like the one in this drawing.

anyway in a hour or so, I will work on the next chapters of some crossover stories over at Quotev that I haven't updated since maybe a few months ago...anyway hope some like this drawing. :)

oh my god thank you. i swear, the growing obsession with reenacting snowgrave with every other character has been driving me mad because, like. yeah. it's missing the entire *point* of snowgrave. do people think The Player has some magical compelling voice? that you can prey on noelle's own personal weaknesses to coerce her into doing your horrible will doesn't mean you can just take anyone and say "hey go ahead and mass murder for me kthx" and they won't tell you to get bent

The thing is, it could work with other characters!! But it's not about just telling them to kill, it's specifically about digging up their specific character flaws and asking "What would it take to drive this character to kill?" More specifically, it looks at which strengths and flaws they have that clash with one another, and uses those flaws against them in a way that interferes with and diminishes those strengths.

Hell, wanna know an example of a hypothetical weird route I used earlier today, using Toriel?

Toriel, while she's known for her pacifism and integrity, is first and foremost a protective mother to a fault. Her preference may be pacifism, but in Undertale she's not afraid to use fire magic against someone about to kill her child. She even attacks Frisk and tells them to "fight or run away" when they try to leave the Ruins, all for the sake of "protecting" them.

How to exploit this for murder purposes? Intentionally take damage until she's forced to resort to violence to protect her child from the enemies. The rest writes itself. Just as Noelle's trust and ability to stand up to "Kris" diminished as the route progressed until she's just offering to freeze people or doesn't even need the specific command, Toriel's pacifism and integrity would diminish in a similar manner until violence becomes her default method of protecting Kris.

I wouldn't even mind people making their own versions of the weird route if there was more thought into why it worked the way it did in canon. In order for it to work, it needs to be those characters' unique brew of hell, and while I completely trust Toby Fox to deliver, I have yet to see anyone else use this line of thinking when making fanon.

like, they appear to be this powerful, otherworldly entity, with compassion and hostility untold, but in reality they're just Some Guy™

like, i guessed from the whole 'skip his dialogue' section that this was someone who'd watched a play through and wanted to fight sans, but couldn't get past him and rage quit. which is a very relatable experience, but in the context of the Universe its absolutely terrifying.

This Some Guy has caused untold suffering, and continues to harm their host, but... they don't know that? i mean, they do, we all do, but we don't know know that, on the level that the characters understand. is a no mercy runner who goes on to play deltarune in a pacifist fashion someone hiding from their true nature like a coward? no! of course not! and the game cannot punish you for that, because you are just exploring the avenues it gave you. and it feels mean, from mr fox's end

of course, this gives way for fanfic to explore these questions from the character's perspective, so ty for sharing your fic :D

finally have time to sit down and answer this!! first of all, this is SUCH a sweet message. thank you so much for taking the time to send me all of your thoughts! with the deltarune fics (particularly "arcane apocrypha") it was definitely all about how a presence like the player would be interpreted by the characters in canon, but in a much more meta way. it was fun to play on the idea of eldritch horror there + i wanted to envision how the characters who are aware of the player would interpret differing/inconsistent inputs from them. how can you interpret the character of an entity that appears benevolent 99% of the time, but the other 1% of the time veers off the rails entirely into depravity? they'd surely feel really unknowable and mysterious, even if it's Just Some GuyTM trying to mimic something they saw a let's player do on twitch or something. haha whereas with the UT fic approach, it was a lot less...medium-aware, if that makes sense? the DR fic knows it's a game, the UT fic does not. and i find that a lot scarier, in some ways. the idea of someone reaching down and controlling you but not being entirely aware of what's going on or where outside influence might end and your own desires or actions begin. that version of the player is ABSOLUTELY someone who rage quit the no mercy route and reset. haha! i wanted to own that player input matters in all routes, but it was hard to work that in without losing focus so i added a small bit of dialogue mentioning that "the voice" may have been present in multiple timelines, but that it was all a blur. i think investigating what that maybe less jarring influence might look like in a...less stabby timeline would be interesting in the future, but i'm not sure if it's something folks would want to read. i may write it anyways for myself! (: you're absolutely on to something here in that at the end of the day, UTDR is here to explore tropes and tell a story. and that it shouldn't be taken as a litmus test for someone's actual morality or anything. how can we possibly gain anything from a narrative with which we refuse to engage? we really shouldn't feel bad about playing, because we're supposed to. i personally don't think DR will end in a way that is strictly accusatory because i don't think toby would want to punish us for playing his game, per se. i've seen people express distress and say that they feel bad for playing DR. but at the end of the day, even with their meta commentaries, these games are meant to be played. we can't possibly crack open their shells and slurp up that good good lore juice if we don't. and these are stories that are certainly valuable experiences. i've said it before, but fanon is frequently much edgier and much less charitable than anything toby fox would write himself. so we should all keep playing and appreciating his story. (: anyways, fanfic is a great place to explore these story implications and take them to their current logical conclusions. so i'm glad you enjoyed the ride! thanks again for this really thoughtful message! <3

My Personal Issues With Creepypasta Stories

Remember: these are not really set in stone, just personal issues. Tis' not meant to offend. I prefer if people did read up on these things if you're going to bash, etc. These are more nit-picky-type things. In general, I do hope this is insightful on the lores of Creepypastas and more things. Feel free to correct me if you see I did make a mistake while writing this.

Let's start with a few basic things: tropes, mary sues, etc. To begin this, we will go on with tropes. Now, we love a good Creepypasta trope. Right? The character is in a toxic household, goes crazy from the madness, and kills their family, and runs off with the creepypastas in their happy mansion, killing and falling in love with one or more creepypastas. Incorrect.

1A. Now, for me, I don't enjoy tropes like this; they usually have grammatical errors, spelling errors, misconceptions between canon and fanon. I would consider this not so much of a great story in my book. Or maybe, the reader is already a creepypasta, probably a child of one of the creeps or a family member. I've never seen it pulled off accordingly, but most say differently. In my opinion, it's just an excuse and ploy to use so that the reader does not die. It seems as if it was just a leave it or take it moment, and I'll list a few tropes you may have seen.

The reader goes insane and kills their entire family and converts to Creepypasta.

The reader is a child or family member of one of the creeps and is adorably cute.

The reader is a complete Mary Sue, and every creepypasta character they are living with is a fanon version of themselves. Example: (he is no longer a creepypasta, but most consider him one still, so I'll add him.) Ticci Toby likes waffles, and he is quiet and cute.

The reader meets one of the Author's OC's they added into the book for no reason whatsoever. (I'm guilty of this.)

1A5. Now, if you have seen any of these tropes or possibly have done any of these, I have a question for you: do you regret it, or do you still like the classic trope? It's a love and hate relationship for me. Not meant to bash because we all start somewhere, and this is my personal opinion.

2A. The Marysues. I would do this over this at the end, but why not wrap it up now? The Mary Sues of the Creepypasta Community is a growing number. I speak of them as animals cause'  majority of the time: they are animal and human hybrids. Half-Human Furries? I don't have a problem with these, but I've seen it done numerous times, and it's not an issue, but the other Mary Sue Stereotypes I am bringing up is.

The Heterochromia eyes are usually a horrible representation of the condition, and it is rare to see two different colored orbs. It is predominantly in speckles and hues of the colors. Example: A person has brown eyes, but in the orb, with heterochromia, or sometimes both, they are in speckles and hues. Let's say it is Blue, the speckles. It is different hues and is usually not noticeable in some cases. The poor representation is just an issue for me. I will explain how to prevent this, so this sort of counts as tips/advice??

Try to avoid or try to research topics, such as medical conditions or disorders. I'm not saying that you have to do this, but, personally, I'm sure people do appreciate it when Authors take time and consideration to process and research and correctly portray disorders and medical conditions. It's the thought that counts, and it's more realistic. 

If you want to portray abuse and other sensitive topics, which I don't recommend, you should research behavioral topics, articles, and even documentaries on how to portray abuse and sensitive topics. Once again, it is the thought that counts.

Try to be original but not too original. Make it deep but not too deep, if you get what I mean. Blank but not too blank. Your OC doesn't need excessive powers to show that they are strong or little powers to represent they are weak. And don't use catchphrases that are a mixture of other Creepypasta Oc's. It's just a no-go and an instant turn-off for me.

  3A. My rants and thoughts will get a little messy. I will start with Clockwork and her Mary Sueish background but hey, aren't all Creepypasta OC's ridden with Mary Sue traits? Some of the CXP community finds Clockwork a horrible character in general. Her backstory is ridden with grammatical errors, but that doesn't make me dislike her character. The fandom paints Clockwork as a lesbian, but I don't see it. She was betrayed both by males and females, so I think she would have resentment towards both genders. 

I don't see her as sapphic, but it's a great idea to experiment with but what I dislike is when people canonically say she is lesbian and be rude about it. I do recommend they read the lore behind Clockwork, but until now, she is canonically in a relationship with Ticci Toby. 

And moving on to Ticci Toby, I suppose the fanon side of the CXP fandom sees him as a Marshmallow. Personally, I feel like it's infantilizing, and the fangirls disobeying the creator's wishes and chased him out of the community, so he's not a Creepypasta, technically. I am going to wrap up here.

Ok so basically.. do you have any headcanons/theories about connections between Gaster and the skeleton bros? Also, do you believe that 'mysteryman' is actually Gaster? I don't really know why so many people believe 'mysteryman' is Gaster :c

so, i’ve said it on the blog before--but long ago--that i generally do headcanon gaster as the brothers’ father. He’s the only other character to speak in a specific (and notorious) font, so it’d make sense that he’s a skeleton at the very least. Of course, that doesn’t mean he and the bros are family, or that he’s their parent--but that tends to be my favorite interpretation of him :”D There’s a lot more that could be said to connect them, but it’s late and I’m a little tired to list it all =u=;;

I also don’t think he’s 100% evil. Not even Flowey is 100% evil, and Chara, despite prevailing fanon, isn’t either. So even if canon Gaster turns out to be an antagonist, he’ll likely have understandable motivations--at least to him ^^;

As it is, I try to characterize him as intensely curious and driven, his wide range of interests carrying him from one field of study to the next over his long career. He’s the kind of mad genius you see in movies, who oversteps boundaries not because he specifically wants to hurt anyone, but because he was so busy and focused on answering a question he didn’t see the line he’d crossed. He bears a grudge against humanity for sealing him away from the wider universe, but he’s made great strides despite this. To other monsters, he can be imposing, and may not realize it. His love of bad science jokes quickly dispels this feeling, and in general, he’s not an aloof or cold sort; he struggles to find time for them, but when the brothers are in the picture, he does his best to be a good father. So, he’s generally good, but his curiosity can lead him astray...

I’ve only got one major story that deviates from this version--’Bark at the Moon’ features a fairly stereotypical Badster in the backstory. But he doesn’t feature much--I’m trying to avoid the classic ‘flashback chapter’ for once XD

As for why everyone thinks the ‘mysteryman’ sprite is gaster, well... all the evidence we have from the game seems to point towards that conclusion. He appears in the right range of Fun values, and he’s such a distinct encounter that it’s easy to draw the connection between this mystery dude hanging out in waterfall and the mystery dude all the gaster followers talk about. What really clinched it for me personally was the use of the same sound effects for mystery man and goner clam. It really seems like Toby wants us to make that connection... Who knows, maybe he’ll pull a switcheroo on us--but until then, the evidence seems to be in favor of the mysteryman sprite being gaster--or at least, some form of him...

those are my thoughts on it, anyway ^^;

Because you did so many eyes you get an extra spicy take...but bear with me because it’s double sided.

The first part of the unpopular opinion is that I really dislike how certain people try to police the fandom and hate on the more exaggerated “fanon” versions of the Six queens that seem to be more well known within the fandom (especially within shorter posts like incorrect quotes or headcanons). While I do agree that these fanon versions of the characters are more exaggerated, I think that some people in the queendom forget that this happens to every fandom. For example, sometimes D.C. headcanons like to pretend that Stephanie Brown’s only character trait is liking waffles, even though she’s obviously more complex in the comics. Or everyone in the doctor who fandom making Donna’s character to be “only shouts at the doctor” even though Donna was one of the most complex characters in DW. Moreover, I don’t think there’s anything inherently wrong with playing into a character trait for an intentionally comedic fic. I think some people in this fandom forget how lucky we are to have so many amazing writers within the fandom that produce content for us to consume.

HOWEVER this does not apply to actively harmful or stereotyped interpretations of certain queens that have no basis within the script, especially for queens like Cleves and Aragon. When a headcanon or a fic perpetuates an incredibly harmful characterisation, it does deserve to be called out and criticised. I seriously do not understand where this fanon version of Cleves that is super aggressive comes from. Cleves is so chill within the show itself and literally just wants to make some friends. When we see actively harmful stuff it needs to be addressed.

However at the same time, we have to understand that what you see in the fandom may not always accurately reflect what is in the show. Some fan fictions are fantastic character studies, that both keep to and build off what Toby and Lucy presented us within Six the Musical (again I cannot stress enough how lucky we are in the six fandom to have so many talented writers) but the more comedic incorrect quotes or headcanons usually do not encapsulate the characters in the show. And we need to be mindful of that. I know that sometimes people are surprised when they see the show for the first time and Seymour isn’t as motherly or Boleyn isn’t as chaotic as the fandom would lead to you to believe. Toby and Lucy wrote not one but six incredibly complex women into their show and I think we should always remember that these canon characters are infinitely more complicated than the general fanon versions, and also actively take steps to integrate them into the fandom by discussing them. That doesn’t mean the fanon versions aren’t funny or don’t have their own merits, because they do, but we shouldn’t pretend that the canon characters are interchangeable with the fanon versions.

Basically what I’m trying to say is that the canon characters and the fanon characters can co-exist. We can enjoy the more exaggerated fandom versions of the characters, while also being mindful to respect what Toby and Lucy wrote into the show of six. You all know that I LOVE a good discussion post about the characters within the show, and I love character-study fan fictions...but sometimes I just want a funny fic or a fluffy headcanon, even though it maybe isn’t 100 percent accurate to the show. I mean,,,I’m the fucking person who both gave Boleyn Heelys and also wrote a mega discussion post analysing all the different versions of her character within the show! You can enjoy both fanon and canon. It’s when we, as a fandom, start to actively see the fanon as the canon that we have a problem. We saw this a few days ago when @the10amongstthese3s got hate for actively writing a Boleyn that was a divergence from the fanon but was accurate to the canon!

Alternatively: don’t like a fanfic? Don’t read it!

here’s a list of what they say about you if you want (not 100% accurate):

smol - you and me think the same pal. unless you draw “smol” as a low-effort way to portray him in some sort of reddit x 4chan-style joke where sans shits on the floor and calls papyrus a slur. but as long as you’re not like that then you’re probably good. your main source of undertale content can vary, though it likely could be from your own thoughts on the game. what kind of person you are varies a lot here and i couldnt tell ya anyway because i draw sans like this.

classic ol sans - you don’t want to go off-model by much. you care about source material and likely try not to put too many “stretchy” headcanons in any media you make. this basically means you take what the game gives you, even if it’s like, unused stuff or posts toby fox made on twitter. nothing too outlandish. you might make a lot of theories based on only what you see in the game, and fact-check other theories in your head, but still learn new things from them and apply them to your own understanding of the world. your main source of content probably comes from the game itself and others’ let’s plays. what kind of person you are varies a lot here and i couldnt tell ya anyway because i draw sans like this sometimes.

fanon v1 - you take creative liberties and change small things (color the eyes blue, add dots, fluffen up the hood and slippers). you like fluffy content and probably follow a few undertale au blogs. you like the edgy side of sans and tend to focus more on that maybe. chances are, you tie sans’s eye thing to his emotions for some reason. you color the hood white because that’s what everyone else does so at this point it’s weird seeing the hood with any other color. you’re cool and good probably. your source of content is very very very likely from other creators’ comics and art. probably also undertale vine compilations. you’re most likely an alright person.

fanon v2 - you focus on the “haha funny skeleton man” side of things rather than the “strongest enemy and doesnt think anything he does matters” side of things. you leave his shirt off to express his laziness, because that’s how you interpreted his sprite, or because you saw that one page of concept art and decided that was the canon look. you give sans sneakers and a blue hood because that’s what he has on the steam card. you see sans as a comedian who tells jokes so bad they’re good, drinks ketchup all day, and annoys his brother. your content might come from joke comics and what you see in the game. but it gets a little hard to see where content comes from at this point. you’re probably cool. you probably either relate to sans more than fanon v1 or are just, like, less emotional i guess. like, yknow what i mean probably.

uncle sans - i probably love you. chances are, you follow the guy who made the dunkle sans comic and were inspired by that type of sans. either that or you came to the conclusion the same way that guy did. i have no idea where your undertale content comes from, but you like to imagine sans as a guardian-type figure for the human. you probably think sans gives great hugs. you’re probably either a big ol softie or you want sans to be your dad.

realistic - you either received a commission, played undertale once or twice, saw the popularity of the character, or were attracted to the design and decided to make this guy look more realistic. what i’m saying is that it’s unlikely that you are a knowledgeable fan of undertale like some of these other people. not saying it’s impossible, just unlikely. if you show sans with both the white pupil AND the flashing eye, you either like it like that or haven’t done your research. assuming you are a fan of the game and have made other content for it in the past, i guess this is just.. how your art looks. which is cool and good, i love me some realistic cartoons. i dont know what kind of person you are, all i know is that you intimidate me. i’m scared of you. you have a power not many people possess.

sexy tall sans - (stick to the end if none of what i’m saying applies to you) fuck you. i hate you. burn in hell. you probably ship fontcest or you ship sans with the human. let the man be short and chubby. but DON’T put some sort of stupid magic blue slime as his fat. do not. no. none of that shit. and stop giving sans a tongue. he doesnt even fucking open his mouth, you can’t make out with him. he’s not a sexy guy. he’s the least sexy guy in the whole game. don’t like, actively change his design to be sexier. why dont you go after a character who’s already sexy, like heats flamesman? it’s as a very wise guy once said, “sans the skeleton is not real. you’ll never be his wife.” chances are, you’re a bad person. you may seem nice and friendly, but your morals... filthy... your main source of undertale content comes from porn. if you happen to be a good person with good morals and you still lust after sans like this, just.. keep it to yourself, and don’t hang out in the wrong crowd, okay?

I hate the notion that if you write a female muse, you must immediately fall at her knees and refer to her as ‘queen’ in every mundane situation. Pairing I am not a fan of: people are really out here shipping mettaton and gaster for some reason? i mean like the art of it is always amazing and what little i’ve read has been p nice. but like. what’s up with that. whack

Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): honestly a lot of the characters, more specifically in UT rather than DR, feel incredibly flat. like once you start taking away your own projections onto the characters you realize that they really only have half a side to them at most and the rest is so vague and up for interpretation that there’s really no character there. except for like, papyrus, asgore, and flowey who are somewhat more dimensional. DR’s characters are about as whole as they’re going to be for the next 2-7 years and they feel much more like characters than, like, 9 projections in a trench coat 

Favourite friendship: all of them,,,,

My unpopular opinion about this character: can you have unpopular opinions about your own oc???

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: it’s still the beginning of the DR RP we’re doing so i don’t have much of a thought on this one yet. however i do hope someone makes an OC i can aggressively pair him off with for, ykno, reasons

The holes in gasters hands are because of Sans and Papyrus. They were literally made from him. Plus they're skeletons ? They don't have "parts"

I’m adding your other ask because some of the things I’m going to mention are going to discuss things that pertain to both.Which Fanfic? Because MsMk fanfic is an entirely different timeline. If its a fic from ShadowFoxDemon, that is also a variation of a timeline. Possible outcomes. I’ve already discussed that this is all a matter of “If Seriff was in the Multiverse.” Both of which that in, Yes indeed, I cover and answer questions for.

Amazing, isnt it? How one can think of different outcomes for possible changes in a persons life that can effect who they become? Almost like there are multiple versions of Sans and Papyrus that people have made because of possible “What If’s” that came to peoples mind that other people build off of to make other variations of that variation! OHWAIT!I’M ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE!

Also, it is not Canon that Gaster made Sans and Papyrus. It’s not confirmed, nor is it in Undertale or DeltaRune. Its a theory, an idea that most of the fanon like to headcannon. However Toby has not confirmed this so until then that’s just a theory. (A GAME THEORY)

A simple google search can tell you that. I’ll give you a hint, its called the Pelvis bone. However if you’ve ever taken a science class then you’d know that bones aren’t built to be changed.

Also, I haven’t changed the original storyline for Sielutale? I changed some elements, updated it and polished it up a bit, gave additional information. Still currently doing that to be honest. Unless of course you’re referring to all the fanfics, that I’ve already said is part of a timelines. Or unless your referring to the Original Storyline of Undertale, to in that case I hope to fucking god I changed the storyline. Thats the whole point in making an AU after all. That’s why they’re called AU’s, because they’re Alternate Universes.

Also, what does Seriff being Trans have to do with me updating the original storyline of Sielutale? I’ll tell you the answer: Fuck all Nothing. He was trans when I first made this AU. The changes to Sielutale have been towards character development, story, and the physiology and culture of Sielutale Monsters.  But not the genders or gender identity of the monsters mentioned.

Just because I’m willing to talk with askers and others about different versions of Seriff and his future, doesn’t mean that its canon for the main Story of Sielutale.

I think I want this version of Archeia Lucillea, to be both a Hazbin Hotel & Helluva Boss Type OC...

and even if it was just a guess that Lucifer’s Twin Flame was named Lucille,

and then thinking that the name Lucille could just be a nickname, and her actual name could be “Lucillea” , but it’s okay that not everyone believes that.

I didn’t really draw Lucillea’s eyes, because I wanted to put that thing over where her eyes could be, to show that she is a lost soul, you know like inspired from Undertale...

Blitz’s Mom is a lost soul in this drawing as well, and even Flowey...

and Flowey is the only one who is speaking in this drawing, and he is saying

 also in this drawing, Lucillea is suppose to be laughing...

which I guess could be the happy laughing or the sad laughing.

ya know if Chara was doing a unhappy laugh after what happen to Asgore,

then Asriel shouldn’t of misinterpret it being that they were just “laughing it off”

and if what happen to Lucifer, if Lucillea was laughing in a unhappy way...

then her own unhappy feelings could be misinterpreted as well.

it be funny if Lucillea’s favorite treat was chocolate, just like Chara.

maybe in a Hazbin Hotel x Helluva Boss Fanon Timeline, after Lucifer fell and end up ruling hell with Lilith.

Lucillea could of went into a state of depression, closing herself off from everyone around herself.

even the Other Archeia couldn’t help her out of that state, even though they tried everything to make her the happy and sweet angel she was before.

 it could turn out in her depression, she went to stay in Eden and slept in or under a tree, that could of been called “The Tree Of Healing” like anyone who is under the tree, will be healed of their mental, emotional and spiritual pain.

also I know it is very unlikely the Archeia would be in both shows.

that is why the Fanon Timeline exists, where what would be impossible in the canon, can be in the fanon.

and only a few things in fanon work, end up being accidentally predicted in a canon timeline of a show or movie or video game.

like when a guy had accidentally predicted that Kris from Deltarune was going to eat all the pie, and that was even made into a animation before it showed that one scene in the game...

oh yeah, and I’m pretty sure even in one of the Deltarune AU, some stuff in it had also end up appearing in Chapter 2, but like maybe in a slightly different way, so that is another time a fan had accidentally predicted Deltarune’s canon.

best thing to ever happen, of all time....not when it’s the Simpsons though, they should just do reruns and stop making that show already....I mean fans can still like the show, but with some of the creepy predictions that are being said that involves that show, then it would be for the best that they stop making new episodes and seasons of it, and maybe just make a new season of Disenchantment, even if not everyone has to agree with me on it, but it is just how I think and feel about it....

and hopefully Teen Titans Go, wont pull a Spongebob...

at least they had stop showing the same episodes over and over of Spongebob, it was heck for me having to put up with that disgusting broken marathon, it even put me in a dark place, and I even cried not being able to take it anymore, I had to go to another room whenever it had to be on.

because of whoever was in charge of that stupid broken marathon, they basically ruined Spongebob for me, I guess it is still a little okay, but I don’t 100% love it like I use to, because whoever was in charge of that broken marathon....and kept showing the same episodes, over and over, without even changing it to any of the other episodes....

I can watch the same episodes over and over of shows I really like, even watch some movies as well, but how it was with Spongebob, it was a broken marathon and it was just so....I really couldn’t stand it, I’m fine now.

but whoever was in charge of running that marathon during that time, had ruined it and didn’t bother to make sure to change it to the other episodes.

I would rather watch the whole seasons of Lucifer Tv Series, or like watch all the Seasons of Transformers Prime and then Transformers Animated, and then all the seasons of MLPFIM to the Equestria Girls Movies in one day, or if it takes into it becomes early the next day, then yeah I will try that too...

but I would rather do that, than having to go through the heck I had been through during that time, cause I think I love those shows and movies more than I do Spongebob right now, and my like for the show is maybe around the 80% or maybe a bit lower than that now, because of the person or people who kept showing a broken marathon and basically ruining it for me.

at least they stop showing that stupid broken marathon, thank goodness.

and you know, if there was a type of Crossover of Lucifer Tv Series x Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss, the Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss version of Chloe could be the reincarnation of Archeia Lucillea, then again maybe that would be too weird.

anyway, I’m sure some have notice that I gave Blitz’s Mom some wings in this drawing, I think it might be possible she could be a Imp-Succubus hybrid,

which might make her children a quarter succubus from her side.
