to summarize the video: in japan the traffic lights are called red yellow and blue, and the color for the go signal is also usually vaguely between green and blue (some places apparently have actual BLUE blue lights). this is because in japanese "blue" often signifies the spectrum of colors from green to blue (grass is blue 青い芝生, bok choy uses the kanji for blue 青梗菜/chingensai, green laver/aonori 青海苔 is literally blue seaweed, etc etc). which originates from the fact that in old japan the basic colors were red, blue, black, and white. this also aligns with the evolution of color descriptors in many other languages (old english had a word "hœwen" encompassing green thru blue too).

so the fact that this has stayed for a thousand and however many years (albeit not used as often outside of existing words compared to back then ofc) means that there isnt much of an IMPORTANT difference between green and blue. and the fact that theres so much debate in english over names of greenish blueish colors supports that i think lmao

Hey, uhm I don't know if you got this question already, but I had a question about nightmare demons... When I saw Luca I thought that all of the nightmare demons have gashes on their necks, but then I saw Enoch and he has gashes coming from the sides of his mouth, so where exactly could the gashes of nightmare demons be? (Btw I love your art!)

Yippee!! Their gashes can be located pretty much anywhere!! Necks, wrists, faces, waists, legs, anywhere really! When nightmare demons develop these (and not all of them do, just the “overwhelming” ones) the location of them is completely randomized.

However, no matter what creature they shapeshift into, the gashes will remain in the same general area!

And some bonus info. The rarest colors are magenta and bright green/seafoam green. Green being much more rare than magenta.

THat was so good but also the color correcting on this dvd my god they made wayne enterprises green. Like light seafoam green but it was also really really saturated for osme reason. As opposed to the more warmer colours in my 97 dvd and the version i have downloaded.. it's ok though it might just be my tv. Edwards apartment was really visible though like i could see everythign!??!!!! <-ok guy who literally only pays attention when his blorbos on screen remind me to rip the dvd later or tomorrow bc i need to do that badly. Really badly. Tje commentary was REALLY GOOD! The Agreste patriarch never did suspect her of infidelity, and when her daughter was born, she was named Estelle Agreste, the daughter of Athanase and Céline Agreste.

Notes:

Yep! This is a Percy Jackson and Miraculous Ladybug crossover idea that I've started where Estelle is not only the daughter of Venus but part of the Agreste family (even if not by blood). Estelle also happens to be Percy's maternal grandmother. Well, I'm sure Percy will never find out, and definitely won't have an unforeseen trip to France to visit his maternal side of the family in the future *wink* *wink*.

Also, I purposely capitalized "Her" for Venus since it is from Céline's perspective, and she not only loves Venus but she worships her.

Hope you guys enjoyed it, and I'll hopefully continue to update this story and eventually post it on ao3. ❤️

Also, interestingly enough, Céline comes from the Roman name Celelius, which means “heaven” in latin.

BTW, I got Donatien and Ananase’s names from Adrien's full name (on fandom): Adrien Émile Gabriel Donatien Athanase Agreste. Which has very Greek/Roman names in it.

1.) What’s the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do?

HA that is a question. although ae's naturally quite prone to contemplating quite deep stuff ae ALSO hates being with aer thoughts for longer than .001 seconds, so ae often does impulsive things to avoid thinking. you can see where "jean marie cotard is the two main francises self insert" kinda comes from despite ae being a deuteragonist at most. it's actually what kickstarts aer to both get kicked out of aer grandparents' house because ae is constantly either rummaging through cabinets in search of food, punishing aerself when ae predictably gains weight due to it (ae gets a better body image but aer internalized fatphobia not HELPED by aer genuine gender goal being "i want to be a pretty fat feminine enby" conflicting with aer fear ae won't be taken seriously AND will be seen as ugly especially because ae's median facets make aer REALLY undecided about electrolysis so ae's afraid of looking like a stereotypical fat hairy amab nonbinary person who can't pass but is wearing like. a tutu at walmart or something, except ae's canadian so idk if canada HAS walmarts or what their walmart equivalents are up there), and also having...very risky sexual encounters that almost never end up WITH any actual sex because ae ends up pushing people away because again, median facets conflicted about whether to actually have sex with people or be the good submissive femby that other facets believe ae "should" be. so yeah. incidentally, jean marie's impulsivity is what triggered aer to do the demonic doppleganger summoning ritual in the first place, in the belief that "killing the worst parts of themselves would be like, making the world a better place, right?" anything that aired on foxbox or ytv circa 2000-2007, usually stuff like cardcaptors or sailor moon (which ae was a huge fan of and usagi was aer first gender goal AND both ami, makoto, and setsuna was aer first crushes....btw the main fronter in jean marie's median system is an aporagender epicene mavrine (as in, the xenogender related to marine life) antheic (an aesthetigender related to love (especially, in jean marie's case, for aer body, gender, and other people), beauty, and aesthetics) femby (as in feminine but not female enby) who also considers aerself an nblw and nblnb but feels "phony" because "even though i know i'm not a man or a woman i still feel like since i wasn't born female i don't deserve to consider myself a nonbinary femme attracted to women"), but ae also surprisingly liked stuff like zoids, megaman battle network, spider riders, and stickin' around. ae loves the feeling of nostalgia ae gets from these shows, but often has unpleasant memories of being bullied for aer exercise intolerance and preference to stay inside, causing aer grandfather to abuse aer for being "too girlish". ae thinks ae looks best in pastels and bright "girly" colors like pink and seafoam green, and rock and yuuki both agree ae looks good in those colors. ae's often too insecure to wear those colors, much to the lack of understanding of rock and yuuki, because ae thinks it's like "putting lipstick on a very fat pig in drag".

when ae finally decide to wear the colors ae likes in the styles ae likes even in front of albina and aleksandra, even aleksandra, the characteristic stoic murderbabe (of demons mind you), is stunned and flustered.

and lovely colors!! the color of the sky right before it goes all black is gorgeous, i agree. though, i am curious, what site did you get your hex codes from? because when i punched them into google i got a muted seafoam green for what you said was muted lavender, and then the world wide web agreed that #ff6600 was bright orange. were those the colors you meant? because if so, nice colors, especially the seafoam one, but if not, i'm curious as to what you actually meant
