one of the most chaotic families out there

trust me when i say this

when any of the kids have friends over, the guests are always shocked to find out that they ever manage to get anything done

there's always someone being a problem ( lo'ak )

tuk is the "do it all" child

like soccer, lacrosse, dance, school plays + musicals

she totally ate as an oompa loompa in charlie and the chocolate factory jr.

the older siblings all took a picture with her while she was in costume

[y/n] has an epic 0.5x picture of her from that night and is saving it for her graduation

[y/n] has the most baby pictures and "baby's first christmas" ornaments / type stuff just because she was the first child

neteyam has a good bit, so does kiri, but lo'ak and tuk have barely any

you can tell that they gave up on parenting tuk because she's such a menace

the whole entire family is banned from pizza hut

they refuse to speak on the topic

after neteyam and lo'ak played jv basketball together, kiri and [y/n] worked together to rewatch all the film and make a compilation of all their funny moments

tbt to when lo'ak completely missed the basket during a free throw

to present it, they gathered the entire family into the living room and pretended it was serious

but as soon as the video started, the two girls could not hold up the act and ended up on the ground in tears as they laughed at the entire thing

lo'ak and neteyam were not amused

jake was totally losing his mind

he loves making fun of his kids ( affectionately )

you can always tell neytiri's mood based on what she's listening to when she cooks dinner

a podcast means she's feeling good, feeling productive - sad music means she's, well... sad - classical music means you must stay far away from her

not only is [y/n] dating his star player, but she manages the team

plus neteyam is on his team

sometimes, during their lunch period, fali and [y/n] just roll up to his class ( the same period that lo'ak and tsireya have bio )

ao'nung also plays basketball, so him and lo'ak were literally always beefing until they randomly just became friends

and then it was chill!

[y/n] and fali also drive tsireya and ao'nung around quite a bit, but they don't mind

everybody trusts fali and [y/n]

they're the type of people that you call if you need anything ever

kiri and neteyam have definitely called their sister or fali during a party after realizing they needed to get home

once neteyam's old friends left him there with no ride and he was... not all that sober

fali was at the same party because lacrosse team!

this boy did not hesitate to leave with neteyam and bring him back to his house

neteyam called his parents and pretended he was sleeping over with ao'nung ( who helped cover for him ) and ended up sleeping in fali's guest bedroom

every day kiri collects random ideas for her future speech as [y/n]'s maid of honor at her and fali's wedding

neteyam has an entire shoebox full of memories with his big sister that he plans to give her before she moves out

panic ensues the household when they reach june / graduating month

they do not want to think about their first baby leaving the nest!

and they are constantly scared of losing it

tuk takeover happens on a rare occasion in which, every few months, one of her older siblings allows her to do their streaks

she usually manages to post something stupid on their stories or something, but all of their friends have learned to look forward to it

fali and [y/n] were friends for a year before dating, but half of that year was spent with them absolutely crushing on each other

their first kiss story is so embarrassing and they refuse to tell anyone about it

fali wears bracelets that [y/n] makes for him

he always wears the bracelets that tuk makes for him and they're the cutest things because it's just a random assortment of beads

fali probably has a like single piercing on one of his ears after losing a bet with his friends

but he's grown to love it

he always has to take it out for lacrosse because the helmet is a pain

[y/n] buys him cute little earrings that he refuses to wear because they're always silly

like, "no, [y/n] i'm not wearing a singular waffle earring."

the only earring from her that he wears is the earring that matches the ring he gave her on their one year anniversary

What is Kisame Week?

Kisame week is a week that we dedicate to our favorite shark man! Whether you'd like to make art to celebrate or write fics about him, anything goes! Just as long as what you post is your own work, the world is your oyster. If you have permission from the artist to repost for this specific event, that's okay too!

How do I participate?

Is there a limit to how many prompts I can do?

Nope! You can do all or just one, two in one day, whichever! If you want to combine prompts be our guest! The only rule is that if you combine prompts, they have to be for the same day. We want to make sure the specified content gets the spotlight.

How many prompts will there be?

21 in total! We will be hosting three for every day of the week with a bonus "any au' day!

What does "Any AU" mean?

"Any AU" refers to any alternate universe you can think of! Modern AU, College AU, Mob AU, etc. Since we ask everyone for prompt submissions, you can guess the amount of AUs are suggested, so we usually just group any and all AUs in this category. If you need inspiration for this category, check this list for the ideas that people submitted.

How should I interpret the prompts?

Any way you'd like! The prompts are to spark inspiration, so go wild! Just make sure that Kisame is at the center of them!

Are prompts going to be ship based?

They are not going to be ship based. It's more along the lines of an idea like a word or a phrase or a scenario, and you create content based on that. If you want to write a non-romantic Kisame-centric piece, that is totally welcome!

What pairings are welcome?

All ships including Kisame are welcome! As long as the characters in question are of age, everything is accepted. This includes non ships, �� Reader, × OC ships, and childhood aus as well. If you want to keep it platonic, that's okay too! Just remember that if someone doesn't share the same idea as you, it's okay to take a breath and move on.

Is there a word limit for fics?

Not at all!! Write as little or as much as you'd like for any of the prompts!

How dark can the content be?

As long as everything is tagged correctly and the rating is appropriate, as dark as you want. We don't want to put very much limitation as to how much freedom creators can have. Whatever you feel comfortable making is fine for us:)

7. Any worldbuilding you’re particularly proud of?

I definitely don't get to claim all, or even most, of it, but I'm always going to love the little world we all put together for the apartmentverse. It's so silly and soft and sweet. I think we made a good life for them, and I really have to return to finish some fics for it. I'm also quite proud of the... not exactly worldbuilding as such, since most of the world is already there from the show, but world-supports to make things more stable, if that makes sense, that I brainstorm up to make stories about Even work better.

12. Are there any tropes you used to dislike but have grown on you?

Still no redemption for the coffee shop AU askldjadklj. And I've only mildly softened on Modern AUs as a whole because of the Apartmentverse stuff, which has some of the domestic elements of that. Other than that, I know what I like pretty well. Most of the tropes I dislike are outright negatives, like that weirdly common thing where the canon love interest gets turned into a pos for no reason to make the preferred ship get together, and if i ever start showing favor to those kinds of tropes, please know: I have been hacked, or perhaps hypnotized.

17. What highly specific AU do you want to read or write even though you might be the only person to appreciate it?

.....doctorcest human au for real this time. i take my supernatural-taught sense for incest horror and obsession, and i put it in the doccy who. and then i shake it real hard. and we end up with an insular traumatized family of wandering siblings who can never hold onto anyone as long as they can each other, who have constructed a personal mythology so pervasive that it eclipsed any chance to form their own identities outside of each other. and if the only intended audience is me, i can get as weird about it as i'd like. (which i say as if i don't get weird about everything i write, audience or not.)

37. Promote one of your own “deep cut” fics (an underrated one, or one that never got as much traction as you think it deserves!). What do you like about it?

You know, since I'm playing it again, I'm gonna throw out my singular Skyrim fic, In High Esteem. It's a love letter to a character that no one likes, including me and I wrote it, but more so, my own little homage to all the stuff left on the cutting room floor of Skyrim that will never be restored, no matter how many rereleases they give it, and the gaping holes that missing content leaves behind. or, as i put it in my tags: "why is Nazeem such an asshole? discuss"

Basic worldbuilding stuff/context:

My oc universe is a medieval fantasy type setting. Magic exists and is a set of skills you can learn like you could any other skill, not everyone knows it and not everyone bothers learning it. All my (current) ocs live in one kingdom together ruled by one queen and her royal court, who are basically a few of her friends advisors who she herself picks to be part of her court.

None of the people in my universe are fully human, they have a human form which is that catgirl-type-thing and an animal form which is basically a talking quadrapedal (or- well- not anthro) animal. They can change forms at will and most people swap between the two multiple times per day. Wild/normal non-people animals are called 'feral' animals, or 'ferals', since if you just say 'animal' you could just be referring to a person in animal form and that would very quickly get confusing.

amnesia: in general actually not so much for me! I say this having just recently written one but as a rule I'd say this is more of a D than anything else, meaning here again "a tag likely to turn me off a fic if I have other things to read, but if it's by an author I like or otherwise looks interesting then I'll give it a go." I get the appeal of amnesia fics in general, but as a particular device I think it just doesn't work for me as well.

reincarnation: prior to CQL-fandom I never did anything with this and now I'm such a fucking sucker with it specifically in the Yi City corner of things. look, when your entire setup already screams "inextricably bound together and also doomed" how can you resist going "okay but what if reruns" about it. I do need there to be some kind of trauma baggage, though. true reincarnation, the kind where there's no memory or connection to a past life and it's just the characters starting totally fresh...I don't know if that's a thing but if it was it wouldn't be for me. I'm here for the "I'm carrying this baggage and I don't even really know why" in particular.

modern au (no magic)/modern au (with magic): this one is funny because either way it's like "F, almost certainly I'm immediately filtering it out of any search where I'm looking for fic, with the incredibly singular exception of Yi City stuff, apparently." I don't know, guys. I don't know why in that one specific subset of fandom it works for me, but nowhere else (literally, when I'm filtering a tag it's the first thing I eliminate). even if there's magic involved. (assuming, of course, that this is a setting that wasn't modern-real-world to begin with.)

I will make an exception for "reembodied Silmarillion elves in the modern world" I guess. that's my other exception. otherwise though...not for me. unless it's Yi City.

Anniversary Gift - OC Kiss Week Crossover Story

This is for the wonderful prompt "Charm" with my boy Lyran from Blood Night and @stormbrightwriter demon boy Cal from "Falling in Love Will Kill You", set in our modern day in which Lyran and Ari have a band and Cal and Mara started as their fans and now are in a poly relationship with them, as created in some very self-indulgent band AU crossover she and I wrote last year just for us. So I took this as base for today's piece. This is NSFW as you can see above. The blood-red sunset broke through the window as Lyran made final preparations. The apartment that served as a place to stay when he and Ari were in town was now more of a home than any other place, probably due to the two permanent residents.  He tossed the small box in the air a bit before lowering it back into his hand.  "Cal?" Almost instantly, Cal appeared in the room with wide, expectant eyes. It was fascinating that even after two years, this could still capture Lyran like the first day, and how much Cal had retained his naïveté. "Yes?" "I've got something for you. Come here, puppy."

Lyran tapped the armrest off the sofa. Without thinking, Cal came over and knelt in front of him. A glance at the clock said they had to leave in half an hour if they wanted to get to the meeting place in time to collect Ari and Mara. "Open it." Tentatively, Cal pulled at the bow covering the box before taking it from Lyran's hand. Just as gingerly, he opened it and took the small charm from it. At first, it didn't look like anything special, but Cal stroked it with one finger and his eyebrows pulled together. "This is magical." "That's right. An acquaintance of Ari's owed her something."

Leaning forward a little, legs spread wide, Lyran pushed Cal's head up toward him with his index finger. "Mara told me you found pleasure in fucking in public. Is that true, puppy?" "Yes, it's true." "Such a dirty little demon. I'm proud of you," Lyran purred as his hand moved to Cal's hair and reached in. Cal groaned, expecting more to happen, or much more from experience. "The charm will hide your nature from humans, just as Ari's necklace blocks her pheromones, or my bracelets block mine. The necklace is crafted so that in the relevant circles, the relevant people will know you're with us, and you're off-limits to them." "What for?" asked Cal, confused. Lyran's deep, warm laugh washed over him.  "Simple, my dear naughty Cal, you've grown accustomed enough to the human world, and we've done so much for you, we thought to celebrate we'd come up with something special. More specifically, I came up with something special. Even Mara and Ari don't know what's coming up yet. Only Mara knows the address of our destination. We both know how curious Ari is."

Inevitably, Cal had to laugh. Too often, Ari's curiosity had caused her problems.  He whimpered as Lyran let go of his hair. His cock was already pulsing expectantly, and a furtive glance down said that Lyran, too, was more aroused by all this than he had planned.  "You're just too tempting," Lyran shook his head, more at himself than at Cal, "What can I say." "Please..." "Come up here, and be a good boy." Cal needed no further instruction. Practiced, he unzipped Lyran's pants once he sat next to him and immersed himself in the task of pleasuring him.  "Fuck, Cal..." Lyran's hand clawed into Cal's shirt, the other one in his hair.  "Keep it up, puppy." Spurred on by the praise, Cal took Lyran's cock in its entire length and additionally massaged his balls with his free hand. Lyran came unexpectedly fast, but for Cal it was no problem. Cal looked up in surprise and slowly straightened up. A mischievous grin on his face, Lyran stroked Cal's thigh. Slowly, his fingertips moved up to the waistband of his pants.  "I think I want you all to myself today." They both laughed out, which in Cal's case turned into an excited moan as Lyran gripped his erection and slowly pumped. "You're so wonderful to watch when you're this aroused," Lyran whispered. Despite all the practice and experience, Cal couldn't hold on after all, and his glow slowly rose "That's what I mean, puppy. Such a good boy, even glowing for me." Cal's whimper only spurred Lyran to torment him with slower movements.  "But we both know Ari wouldn't forgive us for that. The pranks that will follow will definitely have a kick to them." As Lyran chatted on as if it were a plain conversation, Cal tried to concentrate not to glow like a damn sun. He gave it up when Lyran just gently but firmly squeezed his glans. Moaning and whimpering, Cal came. "That's my good boy." Lyran kissed him greedily and then got up to wash his hands. Cal used the few moments to collect himself. "Are you going to reveal what you have planned?" "After you get ready to go out. Mara laid something out for you."

It wasn't long before Cal was back, wearing tight leather pants like Lyran usually wore on stage and a black crop top with mesh inserts.  "Perfect. Come on, we don't want to forget your present." "You planned for it to be used." "Of course." Chain and charm in hand, Lyran grinned broadly and waited for Cal to walk over. Anyone else would have rolled their eyes, but not Cal. He just walked over and turned so Lyran could put the necklace on, and right then and there pressed a kiss to his cheek. "Remember we told you about the clubs where people with the same preferences as us have sex in public?" "Yes." Confused, Cal half-turned over his shoulder. "There's a club run by a lust demon in town. That's where we're going today in celebration of our two-year anniversary." "Will there be other demons there?" Slight panic rippled through Cal's voice, and Lyran turned him all the way around, then took him into a tight hug. "Only the kind that have been vetted multiple times. No one there will hurt you unless you give them permission. Understood?" "Understood. "And we'll always be with you. Nothing will happen to you." A faint smile on Cal's face brought relief to Lyran. "Thanks." "For you, always, Cal. Let's go collect the girls. Ari's probably dying a thousand deaths of curiosity by now."

hey kind of weird question but i saw a post of yours from a couple years ago while searching some random tags and you mentioned having some opinions about anais mitchell (presumably her recorings of the child ballads?) and the whole coffee shop au-ification of balladry (particularly tam lin) and that resonated so hard with me so i just thought i'd ask you to elaborate more on that because i genuinely want to hear what you have to say. also i fucking love angela carter

oh man... I mean first of all I just reject the term 'child ballad' out of hand nowadays because like fjc was some random racist eugenicist middle class american academic borderline-hobbyist who never even heard a folk song in the wild and basically just compiled stuff other people had already written down. so even if I pretend to subscribe to the ownership of the collector, which I don't, we never refer to 'sharp ballads' or 'percy ballads' or even 'burns ballads', despite the fact that burns was actively re/writing his. add to that the fact that like a third of child's collection came from a specific, named woman (Anna Gordon/Mrs Brown of Falkland) and you start to get angry at the anonymisation&dehumanisation of 'the folk', especially when you learn that child's ballads made him rich yet socially humiliated mrs brown. she (along with numerous other women + burns as a kind of anomalous man) was working actively from inside a tradition, but we instead default to the authority of the prejudiced outsider because of romantic beliefs about the naivety of 'the folk'. (if anything, child actively harmed the tradition with his completely arbitrary subjectivity + not collecting any fucking tunes...)

the very notion of folk music as just this organic wellspring that just emerges naturally from a people-group is a victorian/edwardian fantasy concocted by nationalists in order to reclaim said material, both for profit and for nationalism reasons. objectively speaking, someone or several someones composed that material & many of them were most likely women. the idea of claiming that folk music 'belongs' to all of 'us' (and 'us' at least in its original intention meaning white english people or white people of english extraction) because several generations of performers put their own spin on it is like saying the beatles' copyright really belongs to all of us because lennon & mccartney co wrote them. I'm not arguing for copyright law here but like the recognition of folksong ownership is completely broken in popular conception and it's v much a case of the idea that something belongs to 'everyone' is erasing the actual individuals/groups whose cultural property it is. (+ the living folk tradition regularly accepts new songs of known authorship, and operates a paradigm of collective ownership that is really ill served by the modern idea of intellectual property that can only make something a specific someone's or no one's at all)

so in THAT context, the girlbossification and uwuification of balladry by an outsider (who believes themselves to be an insider) is just kind of grotesque. firstly you're working from a canon which was selected and heavily modified by a victorian man to suit his delicate sensibilities, and then projecting like modern western feminist sensibilities on them. I've seen like 'feminist reworkings' of songs which lament women's helplessness, or exist for mothers to warn daughters about sexual assault. this is where the angela carter comparison comes in bc shes like the patron saint against the 'feminism is when women slay' school of folklore retelling and also someone who was both working really hard not to claim ownership of the stories she collected or to claim thematic ownership with her interpretations, but also writing her own 'folklore retellings' that actually comprehend and work with the deep themes at play rather than being like hm it's kind of problematic that the prince couldn't remember what cinderella looked like (fwiw most cinderella-esque stories are explicitly about the resourcefulness of the girl, and the prince - w his attached status+possessions - is literally just there to be her reward lol kind of a win for feminism idk..)

it's the belief that everyone in the past, especially if they were illiterate, was stupid. not to Survivals Theory but I recently saw this song from an irish traveller woman who claimed it was in the bible which everyone found funny but it literally heavily resembles a story from the apocryphal infancy gospel of thomas, which incidentally was extant as old irish poetry c.700 CE. like the anais mitchell girlies always have this approach that they're the first ones to recognise how great this repertoire is, or something. and her approach is very like oh I've discovered this lost hidden tradition etc although ironically she herself is part of a historic tradition of north americans ripping off martin carthy LOL 🤭

i also reccommend going through my dpau/datapack au tag on art fight, it has all my characters for this au there. they have some art there and descriptions on basic info on them too! I ALSO HIGHLY RECCOMMEND IT, BECAUSE I WILL DISCUSS CHARACTERS WHO I HAVE NOT DISCUSSED ON ANY OF THESE BEFORE!!! so check it out to see who's who.

most of the characters are named by one of my friends who helped with ideas and things for the au.

there's several czech pun names, including berry's middle name. berry b addison... they don't like sharing their whole middle name.

blank's voiceclaim is bo burnham, and i realized the two accidentally had similarities, so i purposefully added some quirks to blank to make him a bit more like bo as an inspiration.

tired swatchling is based on a roblox voicechat roleplay with my friends - i played as a... well. tired swatchling who's number one thing is hating rouxls kaard.

yes, blank does have rats in his hair. the cursorats! my own species i made !they're the rats to maice's...mice. they're based on gamer rgb glowing mice. the names of his pet cursorats are, pantaloonie, remy, the one (and only) and spaghetti

maddison is heavily and i mean heavily based on my personality, if you added a bit of jerma. he is a canonical twitch streamer

blank and berry are also based on me, but also my best friend and our dynamic we had/have growing up! we've known each other since we were like..3 years old. we go way back and have seen each other in different stages of life like this, and certain periods just... inspired these two characters. and just. me. blank is a representation of me with people i trust, and being heavily indulgent in the things i like... berry is the quiet me around people i don't trust, and the character who struggles with a lot of the same social struggles i have as a neurodivergent person. all of these characters are a bit nd i can not write normal characters. sorry.

tired swatchling's and mocha's parents are two swatchling moms, chroma and aroma! i need to redesign aroma a bit, and make "modern" designs for them, since their current designs are them while younger!! these ladies have aged a little bit since - despite darkners lack of aging visibly after they become full grown adults.

spectre's name is not pronounced like specter! it's pronounced like spec-tray. they were my first swatchling oc, too, and for self indulgence they feature a spade on the back of their suit - considering that's my symbol i've adopted for several reasons, deltarune being one of them. we go way back.

swatchlings have uv light vision!! they also have uv light markings only other swatchlings can see!! they have a event/holiday where they paint on their bodies where their invisible markings are to celebrate their differences! literally! each swatchling has a totally unique marking, that is not determined by anything! it's generated randomly upon hatching. (grows in like a day or two after hatching.) this is how swatchlings differentiate each other even if they may otherwise look the same! they also all like being unique, using make up and cool hair styles and outfits... a luxury working specific datapack swatchlings may not have - so they got these markings, since nobody else can see 'em!

clambert has a pet tasque named perci. she has a complicated, long name but i keep forgetting it. and i keep forgetting to save it. im not asking my friend to remind me agian currently it is lost in like a year worth of instagram dm scrolling and i dont even go there anymore.

blank's design is inspired by ena!

hash was originally just a named background character... that appeared in a little thing i wrote. just like, an possible dpau intro? it made sense for me to use a regular visitor character, and i gave them a name... but my friends loved them a lot so... hash is an oc now! they are also inspired by almond cookie. they are a maskless swatchling, too

also, my other maskless swatchling oc, tag, was a concept for a loong time before i finished her design. i was stuck on the name.. but... tag was an obvious choice. since yknow. hash. tag. lmao

brodi adobi and his company is based on adobe, obviously. his design is inspired by portal colors, and his voice claim is jave johnson. he hates lemons. also, he knows almost nothing about art, he just sells art supply shit. he goes on a lot of talk shows.

malina is an lightner oc, that i have had since before deltarune chapter 2. hell, she was actually an undertale oc first, made around 2020, as i have realized i never had a proper undertale oc.... i really like nicecream guy, so i made him a sister character! i then decided to make her a deltarune character with chapter 2, as she now fit in there way better! she has her own story- HOWEVER. The story of the main cast is... very seperated from the main story of DPAU. She follows just the main cast, but she does exist in DPAU and my headcanons to her story apply! she's best friends with sweet cap'n cakes! and scratch. because why wouldn't i put my self insert there

oh yeah, scratch is my deltarune sona and basically self insert!! they are the fourth member of sweet cap'n cakes. they are based on a soundboard and a karaoke machine! they were also inspired by napster and hatsune miku, and gamer headphones with cat ears. they are also very self indulgent with my color choices. they're me, but a silly music robot who makes ytps on the spot, and is just silly goofy 24/7 without the problems real me has

i did write a short chapter thingy with malina!! i have like... entire scenes thought out for her how she follows along with the gang in the main game. this... slipped out of my head mostly, id have to read my old notes. she also has a snowgrave route!! and that also splits into like.. 2 "endings" and both are! not good! so no arms ?

malina is also a florist! and unlike me she enjoys doing it! i regret my school choice and this is a random cry for help! she helps out asgore at his store. also, some of the experiences she talks about kris with, and some little experiences i have made up for them, kris, and noelle and their whole lil' gang while they were kids are based on some stuff i did as a kid myself

snooper isn't an important character in dpau, he just exists there, but i love this beast. his hair is the twitter logo, he says l+ratio unironically, and his speech pattern is inspired by quagsire in from PMD. he has his own page on my website! not just that, but a whole mystery fun hunt! if you go there you can even get his petz mod of himself :D

blank also has corrupted speech, similar to spamton. just.. more fucke.d no advertising, just fucked. imagine a walking glitchy ytp. been compared to withered chica's voice. he can also make static noises and his voice can change tones as well. he also quotes movies and past experiences which will sound exactly the same as they did before. he's like a fucked up radio. his speech is very annoying to write at times, but here's some old examples back before i gave up on adding all the effects and jumbles while rping. msot of the time he is like... audible just glitchy. when extremely emotional his voice breaks more. Ooooh what a fascinating question.

For Batman these days I would probably give someone Have I Told You About Minnie? It's a fun fic, it introduces two important things about me: my Bruce voice/characterization, and my Stephanie Brown.

For RVB it still absolutely has to be It's a Comedy of Sorts. That thing is my goddamn RVB thesis statement, and one day I will go back to the BFF verse and finish the story I was telling. ONE DAY.

13. Are there any tropes you used to like but don’t anymore?

*props chin on my fist* Hmm. Honestly I'm a pretty consistent creature, all told? I love time travel, alternate universes, fix-its, secret familial relations, angsty stuff that makes me laugh, and I've loved those things for a long time.

I will say generally these days I'm less into modern AUs than I used to be; but that's more to say that I'm pickier about them than I used to be. I still love stupidly specific AUs, but I'm over college (and especially high school) AUs... and I never did figure out what was the appeal of flower shop/tattoo parlor modern AUs... so yeah? Probably modern AUs? which is interesting.

I will say that these days I'm less likely to write parody fics, which I used to be known for in my high school days. It was a thing. I don't understand it, honestly, but hey.

Writing Plans for 2022

I'm gonna slap a read more tag on this because it's gonna be a long one. Basically just an overview of what I will (probably) be writing this year.

My New Years resolution was to absolutely crack down on my writing and pump out more pages than Stephen King but we'll see if that actually becomes a thing.

My priorities, kind of in order but also not really because I am a very indecisive person:

Also, requests are not featured on here because I intend to do those sort of in between my actual fics. But I swear they are on my mind and definitely on "the list"!

My Peaky Blinders fic (White Ribbon). This will be a two part novel series so I think the majority of my efforts will be going towards this. I at least need the first written this year but will hopefully power through into Book 2.

A bunch of other things for Adrien Brody characters because I am down bad and nobody can stop me. Confirmed (in my mind) so far includes: - The Grand Budapest Hotel - bringing Alice back for a multichapter AU of her and Dmitri rather than Jopling - The Darjeeling Limited - have a lil multichapter fic planned for this - King Kong (2005) - Look, hear me out. It's a really cool world that I want to write in. Also, Adrien. - Chapelwaite - Main reason is again Adrien but also I really want to write horror and love the gothic sort of setting. Probably will wait for season 2 to come out first though. Also may use Charlotte (my Peaky character) for it.

I'm probably not finishing that Willem challenge... but I still have a lot of his stories that I intend to follow through on because they will haunt me otherwise. These include: - World on Fire (Light Sleeper) - A two part novella? novel? that uses my character Kelly from my old Far Cry 5 fic and it keeps calling to me, especially the ending scene, so I know I need to finish writing it. - a currently unnamed fic for Murder on the Orient Express - I also have so much inspiration for this and I can't wait til it's written but I have some things in the storyline and character to fine tune first. This will probably come when White Ribbon and World on Fire are finished. - Finish Verum Vindictae (John Wick). I can't let this one fall into the abyss of abandoned WIPs but I also don't really have the inspiration for it right now. - I do have to finish LEOMB though can make no promises when - Potentiallyyyyyy an Aquaman fic that I didn't have a full storyboard for but some ideas for. I love the world of this film and what I had in mind would be very dark, almost horror-esque. - Also potentially a fic for Roadhouse 66. I have the first chapter written, a character, and nearly an entire storyboard. I just don't know if I care enough about it to invest the time. - also potentially (but less likely) a Beyond Two Souls one

A Modern Warfare fic because the nostalgia for COD is hitting me hard again and I think I actually sort of have a couple ideas for it. And I had no idea that so many people were horny for Ghost now so it's actually a thing.

Finish my Far Cry 5 fic. The sequel will probably be in 2023 realistically.

Potentially more Wes Anderson stuff even if it doesn't involve Adrien because I just love his worlds; they're huge comforts to me. But this is only if I can think of good ideas.

A couple original works. Short stories and some poetry. I don't know yet if I will be posting them, though.

If I'm feeling ready for it, and have written enough of my long to-do list, then I may start on my dark western novel that I intend to publish. Won't be posting here because if my real name was ever associated with this I would probably become a hermit. But of course whenever I do end up writing it I can keep anyone interested updated.

Monster sequel in um... 2023? 2050, more like it.

Her dad would be the city mayor.

Ourem would be a maremma I reckon, maaybe a blue heeler that's bonded to Ahleri as his person? (I know he has a rough collie coat and a kelpie would be more Aussie and have his colouring, plus they're specifically a sheep dog, but a maremma or heeler would fit his personality more I think) and Nimble would be a rescued hand reared brushtail possum.

Now, for a quick debriefing on who I am in fandom spaces:

I have AuDHD so I hyperfixate...A LOT. The name is Yurei, as you can see, and I am an adult. I don't care too much about fandom or shipping discourse, so I don't participate in it, but if I were to take a stance, I'd be proship/profic. I mainly stick to AO3, though I recently reinstalled wattpad, and I'm actually checking out Inkitt for reasons I have long forgotten. I am mainly a consumer of fanworks but sometimes I get ideas and I just have to write them. Though, I must say the stuff I write is purely self-indulgent, so it may only tickle the fancy of a very specific, small audience.

Echoes of the Void - MHA fanfiction featuring plurality mostly centered around Aizawa Shouta. Status: Ongoing.

Naruto & Co. - A what if Naruto was a plural fanfic. Status: Currently discontinued. If we are to continue this premise, we'd need to completely change our approach and think stuff through thoroughly.

Under Construction (AKA WIP)

Inception - An OT8 poly Stray Kids fanfic centered around Hwang Hyunjin, featuring plurality and age regression.

Change of Hearts - An Alice in Borderland fanfic centered around Ryouhei Arisu, featuring King of Hearts Arisu getting displaced within the (mostly) canon universe.

Déjà Rêvé - An ATEEZ/Stray Kids story following Bang Chan and Kim Hongjoon, featuring modern witches, ancient soulmate bonds and relationships.

Soul Covenant - A Yu Yu Hakusho fanfic based on the Netflix Live adaptation and that one episode where Urameshi and Kurama both gave up half their souls together. Will likely be a one-shot to explore possible consequences.

Avalon (Working Title) - K-Pop Industry turned Fantasy/Royalty AU centered (mainly) around The KingDom and their lore. Other idols will make appearances. Planning eventual OT8 poly.
