In Princess Aster's world, bunnybirds live in contented isolation, keeping themselves detached from the world in order to practice magic. Nothing is ever wrong, and no one is ever angry...even as Aster's people seem to be slowly disappearing.
When her father is next to vanish, Aster resolves to find and rescue the missing bunnybirds—even if it means journeying over the rim of the world itself!
My middle grade graphic novel is officially available for preorder! Bunnybirds is a story about trauma, friendship, and my experience with autistic masking. It was drawn entirely with Prismacolor colored pencils and Pandafly markers, with Photoshop applied for color enhancement and text.
Check it out maybe! :D
That last panel with Carlin (the brown bunnybird) facing the corner was directly inspired by this wonderful TMA comic by @nubs-mbee!

Then all those years of building - were they worth anything?
Yes - they're just hoping you don't realize it.
Rebecca Sugar going in for the kill with some sketches out of absolutely nowhere. Here's my best attempt at getting an okay-ish image out of a blurry vertical phone recording of a screen. Original video was posted on the official rebeccasugar account on TikTok - a big thank you to @jeejyboard for bringing it to my attention.

thinking about bird who was sleeping peacefully only to be woken up to soap mauling her. he was so mean and rough with her after a nasty 3 week solo mission got him all frustrated and worked up. shaking and limping into the living room after soap falls asleep snoring on the the bed. simon cooing at her to cmere. was the stupid mutt too rough with you sweet girl? :( he promises to kiss it all better, stroking her sides while he pulls her onto her lap so she can sniffle and shake into the side of his neck. he’s not a good man though and her tears are getting him all worked up :(((( it’s not his fault she looks so pretty when she cries and johnny got her all wet and pliant for him. why shouldn’t he bounce her on his cock? :((

Another summer doodle :D
idk if somebody have done this already but one day the inspiration strucked me like a fright train and i had to draw it
i was THIS CLOSE to finishing it and posting before the second OH SO BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING trailer, oh well ¯_(ツ)_/¯
also the og bg is staying because:
1) i don't want to draw something else; and
2) i find it 1000 times funnier that they ended up in a prison van and that they were in school (hey guess what, now i have like 2 ideas for AU's-simply because of the unchaanged background...AND THE MOVIE ISN'T EVEN OUT YET)
Part 1 Part 3
og photo under cut:

This took me forever to finish but IT WAS WORTH IT‼️😔✨ this drawing idea was stuck in my head FOREVER and I’m so glad that I finally drew it out! Also I fucking love Ghost and love the song “kiss the go-goat” it was too narilamb coded and if I didn’t draw it out I’d literally die/hj
(also you should totally check out my narilamb playlist)
And have a little silly doodle at the bottom of this lmfao

The question is not "why do Vulcans kiss with their fingers?"
The question is, why do humans NOT?
The human fingertip—EACH fingertip—has over three thousand nerve endings. It has more touch receptors per millimeter than any other part of the body, including lips, tongue, and genitals.
Obviously the type of sensation we get from our fingers isn't typically a sexual one. But this is also true of lips and tongues. We just think of our lips as romantic and sexual but we don't put finger touching into the same context. We probably could though.
The real reason Vulcans kiss with their hands? It's because they don't touch with their hands very often. Something you don't do with everyone becomes significant and intimate. Like (switching universes for a minute) when the Radchaai take off their gloves. You wear gloves 24/7 around everyone you know, pretty soon taking them off will feel like stripping. Same concept.
Context is everything. Sure, it's no big deal for Vulcans to type with their fingers, just like it's no big deal for you to put chapstick on or lick an ice cream cone. But when a person you've never touched before very carefully brushes your pinkie with their pinkie while your hands are under the table.....you gonna tell me that's not first base? It could be.
