This is the entirety of the Arizona state forests, the entire Cascades mountain range. Swathes of pristine desert around the national parks in Utah. On the doorstep of Jackson Hole.

I have a bisexual guppy and its funny as hell to watch because it seems like he’s only bi out of desperation. Like all of the female guppies are unimpressed by him, and dont accept his mating displays, and every time he fails, he goes over to a SPECIFIC male guppy (the prettiest male guppy in the tank) like PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE and that male guppy always lets him????

also I got a tattoo partially re-coloured today and they bandaged me in veterinary wrap like I'm a sick horse
#the original tattoo was coloured just fine!#the only problem was that one of the colours was clashing with the tattoo just above it#the neon pink fish belly didn't match well with the earthy palette of my medieval lady#so I had a guy go over it and make the fish belly bright red#(which IS a colour you see in illuminated manuscripts!)#and now I'm very happy with everything

slightly furious reminder that fish do in fact feel pain and do in fact experience fear and distress when in pain since people seem to love spreading the myth that fish don't feel pain. what is it with people assuming a creature is incapable of feeling pain or emotion just because it doesn't have complex facial muscles. come on gang
