Cut Me, Sharpen Me by gayvillians
Billy would probably be the death of him.
Fandom - Scream
Pairing - Billy/Stu
Notes - If I'm being genuine, it's not the most in character thing around, but it's not distractingly out of character either, plus it was just really fun to read.
A Waste of Good Suffering by williamshooketh
Billy had known for years that he got off on the fucked-up stuff. He just couldn't let other people have that part of him.
He couldn't let Stu have that part of him.
Fandom - Scream
Pairing - Billy/Stu
Notes - Straight up, my favorite Scream fic I've read thus far. I think Billy is done really well in here, and I like the way the author wrote the knifeplay. I come back to reread this one often.
Algolagnia by Xela
Leave it to Foggy Nelson to have to teach Matt Murdock that all pain is not created equal, and whatever he needs is his for the asking. OR: Matt is the worst baby sub, and for some reason everyone expects Foggy to lead him down the primrose BDSM path.
Fandom - Daredevil
Pairing - Matt/Froggy
Notes - My absolute favorite thing about this fic is the way it handles kink, BDSM, and and the intricacies that come with it. I randomly decided to read this one day, and I'm so very glad that I did. I'm not even a part of this fandom, but my fanfic experience would be lesser without it. (Also that wax scene? OOF!)
For Life by KakashiSensei
Three wives and their new husband get to know each other. Sometimes, it only takes one night to become friends and partners for life.
Fandom - Kimetsu no Yaiba
Pairing - Uzui and his wives
Notes - I haven't found much that deals with them and their polyamory in an equal way, but this one does, and sweetly too.
Police Dog by surveycorpsjean
Yahaba takes home a gruff looking, beat up dog. He patches his ear, and wraps his leg, and goes to sleep.
The next morning he wakes up to a hot guy rummaging through his kitchen.
“I took a pair of your shorts.” He says, standing up and away from the fridge. “Hope that’s a’ight with you.”
Fandom - Haikyu!!
Pairing - Kyoutani Kentarou/Yahaba Shigeru
Notes - Police and shapeshifter AU. Chapter six is the only thing I can think about, I'm sorry. (Sometimes I go back and reread just that one).
coffee, god, and cigarettes by charmanander
Takeda isn’t sure where the steam ends and where the smoke begins, all wafting up into the dingy kitchen air and clouding around their heads in a thick, pungent fog.
aka ukai contributes to second hand smoking and takeda lets him
Fandom - Haikyu!!
Pairing - Ukitake
Notes - Blowjobs, shotguns, and the pale yellow light of a kitchen. (No lie, I read this one after I wrote my own Ukitake fic, and I kinda got jealous because I WISH I'd wrote this.)
Isn't it supposed to be pollen? by mikansei
Two idiots catch a cold, and all hell breaks loose.
Fandom - Gintama
Pairing - Hijikata Toshirou/Okita Sougo
Notes - Sex pollen and silliness. Also kinda sweet.

So there we go! Honestly I haven't read fic in so long, and this post was kind of born out of me missing that.
Mind the tags, and I'll see you next week! *fingers crossed that I don't forget*

Thinking again about how Suzanne esentially subverted the "beloved famous man that is actually a horrible person in real life" with Finnick, who is the complete opposite of that.
Finnick has this whole image costructed around him by the people that abused him for years: the Capitol's darling, their golden boy, the sex symbol of Panem, the man that has countless lovers but leaves them constantly and doesn't look back etc. And you would expect, initially, to meet a man that retains at least a part of that persona in his day to day life. But Finnick doesn't, not even one bit.
You see instead a man that is deeply in love and completely devoted to the one woman he quite literally adores, a man that protects Mags, his old mentor and his mother figure, as much as he can, a man that wouldn't leave Johanna behind, a man that gathers whatever strenght he has left to speak publicly about the abuse inflicted upon him at the government's hands; the opposite of what the Capitol's media and reputation made him out to be.
