Good morning Amity Park, I'm your ghostly weatherman, Lance Thunder. Today's Tuesday, February 11, and there's a 10% chance of snow. Highs are in the high twenties, and the lows are in the mid twenties.

Thankfully no serious attacks occurred yesterday. The Box Ghost caused a bit of commotion in the UPS post office, but he was quickly removed from the building, and the situation was quickly fixed.

Yesterday afternoon, a Newton High School bus passed intangibly through a freight train passing through Amity Park. The driver of the bus was distracted by a fight in the back of the bus when crossing the tracks. He didn’t see the warning lights flash for the oncoming train. The bus got stuck, and the train passed before everyone could evacuate. To their surprise though, they all remained unharmed.

It is entirely unknown exactly who turned the bus intangible, but their actions yesterday saved lives, and for that, we thank them.

The Fentons will likely not be driving today.

Many years ago, there were Tumblr blogs dedicated to uploading different kinds of music. First Time In the City

My mother use to tells I could have a place to sleep and meals to eat. If I know how to call a woman as mother in our country-side, because of being the most beautiful and beloved baby.

There were very few times. A neighbor lived across the street from our house. My family and her family visited each other houses all the time. So, my mother and her wanted me to greet her as mother. I greeted her as mother very few times. Not for a place to sleep and meals to eat. Just because my mother and her wanted me to.

Back to the bus to the capital city, Ho Chi Minh.

After that young lady arguable as a teenager girl. Handed me that bag of cookies. I started thinking about my mother told me about greet a woman as mother.

I would argues if I have pleasant dreams like this beautiful young lady accepted to be my nanny/caretaker. And, watched over me by providing me guidance. Tell me bedtime stories and sings me lullaby. Then, it would be much better than the nightmares that wake me up in the middle of night. And, make me cried. Even when I'm sleeping with my parents on my parents' bed.

After about 3-4 hours bus ride from the country-side to the city. The bus arrived to the city. Left our house at around 5:00 AM. The bread store is close by to the bus station. The bus ride started at around 6:00 AM. Arrived to the capital city, Ho Chi Minh at around 9:00-10:00 AM.

This is my first time in the capital city. It is very rare to see car and bus in the country-side. But, there are a lot of cars and buses in the city. I been watching out of the bus's window the entire bus ride. Now, I can't stop looking around the city life, because it is so different than the country-side.

I think because my parents been routinely came to the city to pick up their packages, so they got use the city life. Also, they have friends in the city. As for my father, the airport is in the city. So, when he is going on his Hong Kong trips. He have to come to the city first.

The bicycle couriers have a lower cost than taxi. One of the bicycle courier greeted my parents. Then, help my parents carried the luggage to the bicycle courier. It seem as my parents know that bicycle courier.

My father told that bicycle courier to stop at a noodle restaurant first. Because me and my parents wanted to eat breakfast first.

This is my first time riding a bicycle courier. Those bicycle couriers got on the road and traffic like it is a car or motorcycle.

I could sees the cars and motorcycles passing by only a few feet away from me on the road. Even though, the bicycle courier is pedaling on the bicycle pedal without a car's engine or motorcycle's motor. But, they could keep up with the cars and motorcycles in the traffic.

Then, we arrived at the Pho noodle restaurant. That bicycle courier waited for me and my parents finish with our breakfast.

It is not an actual fancy restaurant. It is more like a noodle joint or stand. When me and my parents seated at a table, my mother ordered a "House Special Pho" for me. Then, my parents waited to look at my expression for eating Pho for the first time.

"Oh My God! What is this? How come it tasted so good?" I asked my parents. My mother cooked noodle recipes all the time. But, it is different than the noodle recipes she cooked.

I think the word, Pho mean beef soup. Because Pho is well known noodle recipe in Vietnam. So, I would interpreted Pho as Vietnamese noodle. Or, Vietnamese style cuisine noodle recipe.

But, how does my parents already know I really like the taste of Pho?

"How much it is? It is affordable like other meals?" I asked my parents.

"Joint or stand sell a regular Pho bowl for 500 dongs. High class fancy restaurant sell a House Special Pho bowl for 1000 dongs." My father answered.

Later on, I found out the rates for apartment and hotel in the city. Example: Renting an apartment for 1 day cost 5000 dongs. Renting a hotel for 1 day cost 10,000 dongs.

Even though, the most beautiful and beloved baby in my country-side. Don't have a lot of power. But, I'm doing what I can to try not to be an embarrassment.

My mother would tease me about I haven't stop smiling since I got on the bus. Then, she would continue to tease me about riding the bus and seeing the city is so excited for me. I don't know how to react to it. So, I just keep nodding my head. Then, she would continue to tease with tasting Pho for the first time was so excited. I couldn't stop eating and nodding my head.

As I started drinking the Pho's soup. She told me that people usually only drink a little of the soup. After I drank my whole bowl of soup. She asked me if I wanted her bowl. She only ate half of it. I drank her whole bowl soup too. Because the Pho and Pho's soup tasted very delicious.

Momentary, after we done with our breakfast, that bicycle courier would show up. Then, that bicycle courier ride us to the hotel.

Inside the hotel room, I felt like everything inside the room is new to me. From the mattress on the bed. To the toilet in the restroom.

In the country-side the bed are usually made out of bamboo. I have not seem a mattress before. I started jumping on it, because jumping on it is fun to me.

I don't know what is air conditioning is. Also, I haven't seen an air conditioner before. So, I don't know why the hotel room felt so cool and relaxing.

I would argues that it seem like my parents enjoy watching my expressions and reactions as I'm self-exploring and self-discovering the things I have never seem before. And, tasted before.

Toy Store

Toward the evening, my parents took me to an evening walk around the shopping center area.

As we are having the evening walk, my father asked me so am I enjoying the trip to the city. I replied that I'm having a great time. I really enjoy it.

Then, I hurried over to a toy store. And, watched a toy motorcycle on the toy store's window display area. "That toy motorcycle look like a real motorcycle." I told my parents.

"If you want it. Then, I'll buy it for you." My father suggested.

"We are already in the city. Mind as well have a look inside." My mother agree with my father's suggestion.

"Really? We are going inside a toy store?" I thought out loud.

Inside the toy store, my parents walked with me to the counter area. My father asked Employee1 to have a look at the toy motorcycle on the window display.

Employee1 brought the toy motorcycle over to me and my parents.

"Unfortunately, that toy motorcycle is made for display. But, we have a huge selection of toys made for play." Employee1 suggested.

"I want that toy motorcycle." I told my father.

"Okay. We'll buy that toy motorcycle. What about your 2 brothers? Pick 1 toy for each of your 2 brothers." My father suggested to me.

I picked wireless remote controller race car for my older brother, Ho Hong Lam. I picked a wired remote controller race car for my younger brother, Du Hong Lam.

"They each get a race car. So, they could race each other." I told my parents.

"I already told you guys that toy motorcycle is made for display." Employee1 would suggested again.

During checkout, my parents bought that toy motorcycle and 2 toy race cars.

Even though, I know that toy motorcycle is made for display. But, I'm glad my parents bought it for me.

In addition, my 2 brothers, Ho and Du would shared their race cars with me if I wanted to play with it.

The argument is I been inside a toy store. Yet, I still play with my toy hammer and toy katana.

Back To the Country-Side

Night Life In the Country-Side

Could be because my father have the position as the chief engineer in his past. So, he like the philanthropist who bring inventions and developments to our country-side.

It became like a custom in the country-side, for the following customs:

Story Time Custom: People gathered around my house front yard to listen to my father telling stories during the day time.

TV Program Custom: During the nighttime (around the evening time), people would gathered around my house front yard to watch TV programs. After the TV programs is over, my parents would bring the TV back inside our house.

The uncommon activities during nighttime are catching frogs/toads for cooking. Catching crickets for cricket fights. The exception is catching crickets don't have to be at nighttime.

Miscellaneous case, there are talks about people eating their crickets after their crickets lost the cricket fights.

"What does cricket taste like?" I asked my older brother, Ho.

"Stuff a peanut into a cricket and the cricket would taste like peanut." Ho answered.

"I rather just let my cricket go free after they lost the fight. Than eat them." I replied.

"People just eat them after they lost the fight. You should try it. It tasted like peanut." He replied.

Ginger and frog recipe tasted very delicious. But, I think is easier to buy the frogs at the market place (AKA swap meet). Than catching them during the nighttime.

Because of my fearful thoughts, I'm afraid of dark places and being alone during the nighttime. That is why I felt awkwardness talking about the nighttime activities.

Occasional activities and celebrated activities during the nighttime. My 2 most cherished occasional activities are going to duck's eggs joint/stand for nighttime hang out. And, going to fried noodle with meat (beef, pork, or shrimp) (chicken is uncommon) joint/stand for nighttime hang out.

Just thinking about those duck's eggs your mouth would water and drooling.

One time, my older brother, my older 2 sisters, and my siblings' friends can't wait to go to the duck's eggs joint/stand during the nighttime.

We decided we can't wait any longer. We needed to be there as soon as possible. But, there are not enough bicycles for us all to ride there. So, we decided some of us have to carry another person on the back of the bicycles.

My older sister, Bun Hong San decided to carry me on the back of her bicycle. We didn't think too much about the plan, because we were so caught up with wanting to get to the duck's eggs joint/stand as soon as possible.

"You have to hold on to me tightly if you don't want me to fall behind. I'm going to ride as fast as I can." Bun advised to me.

There were so much excitements. Because we wanted to be there as soon as possible. So, I don't want to be the one who drag down the whole group.

Even though, I wanted to tells her I'm afraid. But, I just response okay.

During the ride, whenever she went over a bump on the road. She would ask me if I'm okay. Can I still hold on.

If I'm too careful, then I might became panic and gripped on her too tight, my feet might get caught in the rim of the bicycle's wheel. At the speed she is going getting caught in the rim of the bicycle's wheel could be painful.

If I'm not careful, then a bump on the road might make me loose my grip and fell off the bicycle.

"Yeah. But, just barely." I replied.

Then, we got to the duck's eggs joint/stand.

It is the nighttime or it is the group pressures? Or, it is can't wait to eat the duck's eggs?

Later on that same night, when I went to sleep. I have a nightmare that on a bump on the road made me fell off the bicycle. As I'm falling down. I fell into a twilight zone. That twilight zone look like the "Spiral of Conspiracies". Basically, I'm falling into an infinite space. Because it is infinite space, so I don't hit the ground, so the falling doesn't stop.

I woke up shouting in the middle of the night. Then, I realize is a nightmare.

Even though, I have that nightmare. But, I still like going to duck's eggs joint/stand for nighttime hanging out. In addition, I had some very happy memories going to duck's eggs joint/stand for nighttime hanging out.

There are a few times, I'm yawning and half asleep. Yet, I'm pushing myself to stay awake. At the same time, I would tells my siblings. "Don't leave me out when you guys are going to the duck's eggs joint o fried noodle with meat joint." After I said that I would fall asleep.

Ho is worse than me. He would wake and sleep-talk, "Don't leave me out when you guys are going to the duck's eggs joint or fried noodle with meat joint."

Because he sleep-talked, so he don't remember what he said.

Each times I pictures Ho sleep-talked those lines to not leave him out seem so sad.

Then, one night, at around probably 10:00 PM. Me and my 2 brothers usually sleep at around 9:00 PM or earlier. My parents woke me up and told me they bought back some fried noodle with meat home.

After my parents woke me up, I woke Ho up. As I'm waking him up I realize he is sleep-walking.

Even though, knowing he is sleep-walking, I continue to tells him that our parents brought back some fried noodles. Because he already asleep. So, he sleep-eating those fried noodles. This mean he doesn't remember he ate those fried noodles.

Even though, I know he doesn't remember he ate those fried noodles, but I'm still glad he had some.
