and i am inlove obsessed with the new herrscher of stars fic ITS LITERALLY PERFECT, Ive reread it like three maybe more times now.😭 As soon as I saw you posted it I was so ready to start reading. I just think that the event currency thing is only a band-aid solution for a much wider problem and will be completely useless after 2 years because TGC refuses to lower prices of older event cosmetics tbh.

#10 bucks for good condition but 120 for VERY good condition #m&m books u good? have u looked at other listings for this product?#text post #i looked up this book in particular bc i'm watching a youtube video where someone shows this particular edition #they said it's the oldest book they own and internally my competitive ass was like 'i bet i own older books than that 😤😤'#and i do. i own a couple books that are before 1891. a small handful #some of them i bought online but some i've stumbled upon in antique stores #if you are looking for old books (not one in particular but just interested in antiquities) i'd say go to an antique store #you will stumble upon some really interesting things and forgotten gems #and probably at not-unreasonable prices #never ever let someone on the internet convince you that just bc something is old it needs to be expensive #some of these things are straight up just not 'rare'#you might not stumble across them everywhere you go but in the age of the online marketplace #it is very easy to find many many copies of any old book u want. unless it had an extremely small print run #if you're looking for something of academic interest especially. ppl are gonna keep an old hamlet floating around #especially if it's not like a mass market paperback #many other sorts of books might fall into obscurity but you'll find that shit at antique stores too

If you don't know your typing speed go look up a typing test and do a few rounds (so you can get an average). My favourite is personally type racer [link] because its fun :)

few things drive home how fucking pointless the 8 hour workday is than when i work from home with a cold and spend 3/4 of the day pissing about on the internet and playing subway surfers

my heart rate at work right now confirming my greatest fear that i will actually never be able to safely bind!! literally there will be no relief until top surgery!! i want to cry!!!!

#i still don’t know if i’ll literally ever be able to get top surgery also!!!!#because it’s not possible for me to completely cut off from my parents that’s just not going to happen #and i don’t know if there will ever be a world where i can get top surgery and they won’t forcibly shut me out #of their lives. because what i mean to say when i say i can’t cut them off #is that i can’t cut them off without losing my baby sister. and that’s not a trade off i can make #so yeah i’m sure they would happily cut me off themselves if i came out fully as trans but if that happened i would lose one of the most #important people of my life #i guess i could wait until she grows up? but that is a scarily long time from now we’re nine years apart #anyway getting back to the point of this is just. i have heart problems. that might get better when i get older #but they also might not. which has made me nervous about the prospects of binding just because it’s so much in that area of the body #and i had decided that it wouldn’t matter and i would be okay. and that they wouldn’t affect each other #but here i am in a sports bra that’s slightly too small for me. and my standing heart rate is 120!!#which isn’t abnormal when i just stood up but i’ve been standing for an hour and a half this is something different #and yeah im feeling tight in my chest and like i’m going to burst so!! seems like binding will never be an option #i can hope and pray that it’s about how long i’ve been wearing it but i’m scared that’s not what’s going on #hi from 50 minutes later when i’m finally getting around to posting this. it has not gotten better. i can’t wait to get home #this is just. terrifying. though. because not binding is something i do because of my parents and i’m supposed to be able to when i leave #for college. but it looks like that’s not going to happen!! so. good luck to me #this has been a concern of mine for a long time but there’s never been experiential proof #so it’s time to start being upset i guess. sorry for kinda venting about this stuff but just. yeah #vent cw #delete later #me. my post. mine.#ask to tag

‘ this show sucks. ’ to mitsuki

logic means: she had cooked dinner tonight, so she’s not handling the dishes. she did the laundry, so the blanket out by the big television in the sitting room ? calls her name. she birthed katsuki, so she gets to claim the television. granted, she waited until the program katsuki was watching had finished & waits an accidental additional 15 minutes before

tapping katsuki’s blanketed feet to urge him to move over a bit. he doesn’t agree to her demand so much as he . . . jolts in surprise at her touch. too bad, katsuki. you snooze / you lose — she sits promptly at the space of couch he accidentally surrendered. from the corner of her eye, she sees his expression — the cautious glint in his eye as he contemplates whether he could push his feet in a not-subtle attempt to reclaim the space & finish what he was watching.

mitsuki snorts; it’s the kind of reprimand that sounds less like a lectured warning —- & more like neutrality. she is unsurprised, unimpressed, & she would expect nothing less. still : neutrality means that she is unfazed when she snatches the corner of katsuki’s blanket. remember: she washed it today, so she holds a rooted claim. she doesn’t mind sharing, but rules are rules &

her phone is tucked away in a drawer in the office, so she’s taking advantage of the night’s quiet.

‘ you’ve got the remote, ‘ she observes without looking & waits for her son to understand her meaning.

mitsuki folds her legs beneath her. this ritual is one they’ve followed before. not routinely, not regularly . . . but recently enough that katsuki knows what show mitsuki is watching. reluctantly, he had been in the room when she started this show ( an unfortunate soap opera / legal drama / thriller ). reluctantly, he had been present for the second & third episodes. now, he’ll be present for the fourth —- though he’ll complain & threaten to leave & will leave if the scene proves a little too risqué.

but he comes back for the next scene. because the show sucks but it’s a little hysterical & a little of a murder mystery.

‘ of course it sucks, ‘ she allows with a hint of a smirk. ‘ & it doesn’t matter one damn bit that it sucks. i’ve got my guesses who dunnit, & when i find out i’m right ? i’m getting some ice cream. admit it. you wanna know who did it too. ‘

again, she snorts & nods once to encourage katsuki to turn up the volume &

katsuki keeps grumbling. she tucks the blanket ( freshly laundered ) around his feet & keeps the corner for herself.
