I stood at the grocery in indecision. The weather screamed summer but the seasonable vegetables talked of spring. I felt a contradiction form in my already indecisive brain. I walked around past the carrots and the tomatoes, the asparagus and the leeks. There were mushrooms aplenty, but it all seemed like too much work.

I went home with some hummus and cucumber.
