DAY 1560) The Operative: No One Lives Forever - Cemetery Battles

Mostly 4/4, and arguably you could write this without writing any tempo changes at all and only using 3/4 and 4/4, but I feel this much more intuitively as something like:
Quarter note = 154bpm
(0:00 - 0:24) all 4/4
Metric modulation: triplets -> 16ths (115.5bpm)
(0:24 - 0:39) 4 bars of 9/16, 2 bars of 6/16, 6 bars of 9/16, 5/16, 5/16, 2/16
Back to original Quarter = 154bpm tempo
(0:39 - 0:52) all 4/4

Lots of other ways you could write the :24 section out, 18/16 instead of 9/16, or at 231bpm instead with all the bottom numbers of the timesig halved, etc. And also just...not changing the tempo and counting it as mostly 3/4 with triplets instead. I just personally feel it best this way but lots of people would probably find this way of writing it out weird TOO BAD
I guess I just think with how rhythmically intricate the piano stuff happening there gets it’s worth writing the tempo change in lol, whether you think of it as 16ths or 8ths. Does not feel like “triplets in 3/4″ because of how jittery it is rhythmically and how much every piano note is so evenly piercing you every note.
Also I guess you could write 3/4 + 3/4 + 2/4 right before the end of the loop if you wanted too.

guitar update :3
i've been trying to learn the album Language (by the contortionist) on guitar and Thrive especially just. o.0 the 7/4 groove feels incredible to play but there's a section where it's 154bpm, notated as 14/16 and 20/16 in alternating measures, and aghhhhh my poor poor hand struggles to keep up with 16th notes at that speed

When you feel all the sweats but your shirt only shows about 2 drops. 🚨let’s talk heart rate (HR) for a quick moment! 🚨 The most common way to know your max HR is 220-age. For example if you’re 30 your max HR is 190, which means your GOAL should be to get as close to that as you can. Your goals should NOT be to get over your max HR, and if it does happen listen to your body. There is also Heart Rate Reserve, HRR, which is the different between your resting HR and your max HR. You would use HRR with what intensity is desired during your workout. So if you are still the 30 year old and your resting HR is around 70bpm, your Reserve would be 120bpm. Then multiple by your desired intensity, let’s say 70% (.70). You would get a HRR of 84bpm. Now stay with me. 84 + 70(resting) = 154bpm is your new GOAL during your workout. You DO NOT need to be at 100% intensity. I hope this was a little helpful!
