Puyo Puyo 20th Anniversary & Puyo Puyo Fever 2 Name Poll
We ran a poll on what names to use for the extra characters in 20th Anniversary a few years ago, but we're repolling this since it's been a while! Please fill this out to let us know which names you would like us to have.
The names in 20th for some extra characters follow a color scheme -- the colors are literally before their names:
Red Amitie / Black Sig / White Feli / Yellow Satan
There are also two with other adjectives:
Strange Klug / Unusual Ecolo
(Strange Klug is also a character in Fever 2. We will be applying the poll results to our upcoming Fever 2 patch as well.)
Since then, we've gotten some officially localized Puyo games that have used their own names for all of these characters besides Red Amitie:
Dark Sig / Angelic Feli / Onesie Satan / Possessed Klug / Alter Ecolo
Help us choose what names to use in our patches!
You can vote on the form here.
Replies to this post and any questions sent to our inbox will be disregarded and not counted in the final results.

Didn't have "Tumblr discourse on N&S 2004 reaches a stage where people start recognizing some of its flaws instead of proudly proclaiming that it is better than the book, and we all come to agree that the choice of making Thornton beat up a worker is yikes" on my 2024 bingo card, and I'm pleasantly surprised.

“In fact, neither reader nor writer nor lover achieves such consumation. The words we read and the words we write never say exactly what we mean. The people we love are never just as we desire them. The two symbola never perfectly match. Eros is in between.”

One Dress a Day Challenge
Black and White October
Easter Parade / Ann Miller as Nadine Hale
Nadine apparently has tons of dogs and coordinates them with her outfits as extra accessories. Here's what she wears with a pair of borzois.
This costume only appears for a few seconds--the gif above represents about half its total screentime--but it's memorable nonetheless. It's one of the most historically accurate costumes in the film, for a start (this parade sequence takes place in 1912 or 1913). I like the addition of the feather spray on the hat, as compared to the design sketch. The effect of the crossed scarf is interesting too.
