today has been. a. lot. woke up feeling like shit, as i've grown accustomed to for the past five days, and dragged myself into the shower. washed my hair and had a good class. our professor liked our progress and even tho one person from my group didn't show up, we actually had several things to show her. i went to my mom's to borrow her car for the akashic records on the other side of the city. i had lunch with my grandma even though i was super irritable. she asked me five times if i wanted salad and i tried really hard to not snap at her. i cried with my mom, then drove to the reader's house. i sang the ep boy by luke hemmings the whole way there. seven songs three times each. i have a notebook page with my notes. but basically, i gotta accept myself, i'm not crazy, i gotta make peace with everything i've done and gone through, and i gotta accept my father too. it's his birthday today. she also told me -my masters also told me- that i have such a hard time quitting cigarettes not because i'm an addict. but because cigarettes have been my life-long partners. our bond is even romantical at times. platonic at best. they got me through life. they helped me feel less alone. and i started at sixteen, in a psychiatric clinic. i gotta find the reason i picked up my first cigarette. apparently it's super traumatic for me and it'll be a whole painful thing, but i gotta grow up. i'm still a teenager. i'm telling myself this with all the love i got for myself. i have to restrain myself for adding which is not much to the last sentence. i fail. i'm okay. then i went to my dad's birthday and it was alright. i saw my siblings and even though i was tired as fuck, i had a decent time. after the reading, i went back to my mom's to return the car. we had a conversation, because my masters said i should talk about that traumatic period of time with my mom, my sister, and my closest friends. and write. write a lot and don't quit. ever. anyway, my mom told me so many upsetting things about those weeks surrounding my first suicide attempt. my little brother had been born the week before. i took the pills the next day of my mother's birthday. i'd forgotten about that. she told me even though she hated i started smoking, her psychiatrist told her it was better that i smoked than it was for me to cut myself. i felt the ants between the stay in the hospital and the stay in the psychiatric clinic. it was about the time i lost so much weight because of the doctor who was too mean to me and made me scared of eating sugar. i think my eating disorder was at full-machinery. was that about the time i bought the book la dieta de la muerte? i met the author in the clinic. i became friends with her. but wait, i remember cutting myself after i met another girl in the clinic. she cut herself and i thought she was cool so i started doing that after those twenty days. were they twenty? my masters also said something like i will be free of the cigarettes by the end of the year, but all of the reflecting will be really hard and i'll need to tolerate it to grow up. because i'm still a teenager. i'm still dependent on my mother, especially economically. next year is me entering my adulthood, finally. i will be out of school. i will graduate and have a diploma. i will need to get a job, maybe i need it now. oh no, i don't wanna spiral on what i should or shouldn't do right now. i wanna enjoy my last semester as a teenager. maybe that's not possible. who knows. also i mustn't experience those traumatic events as if they're happening in real time. i just gotta observe then. judgement-free. just as the person i am today. i don't judge people, others have told me it's one of my best qualities. anyway, i'm tired. weird thing is that i didn't smoke as many cigarettes as other days. as yesterday, for example.

hiii! hello hello this is not exactly an ask but more like a tedtalk??? idk I just want to take it off my mind a bit!!
coryo is a girl's dad. like, once you're pregnant with a girl you feel terribly sorry because you thought he was gonna want a male heir but oh you were so wrong. the moment you told him about it he was so happy he spend 25minutes laughing at the notice after spinning you mid-air and kissing your face non stop. he loves children and he just wants to grow his family with you, so when you told him you thought he was gonna be sad over it being a girl he just chuckled and told you he'd be "happy with whatever gender the children has, as long as it's with you"
he takes extra care of you now. loves feeding you your pregnant desires and loves the way you start eating more berries because your daughter wants it, and god he's so head over heels with you and the way your belly is all round and pretty- he goes shopping with you for baby clothes and why would he tell others to make your daughter's room when he himself can do it? doesn't even let you inhale the smell of paint because he thinks is not good for the baby and he never leaves you alone, he simply can't stand the thought of having you going out pregnant and so vulnerable so along with 10 peacekeepers, he's with you too, right by your side. and by the night his head is on your belly just like his hands, wanting to feel the baby kicking.

this is so cute omg. i love soft coryo. i think being a girl dad would hit especially hard with him too, bc he’d be grateful that he gets the opportunity to operate as a parent without the pressure of having a son and ending up like his dad was to him. it’d truly let him relax and dote on you like a little lover boy all grown up with this new responsibility <33.

They gather to bake bread each week, then give away thousands of loaves

Monday mornings at 9 a.m., Gary Farrah ties on an apron, washes his hands and spends two hours making and kneading dough, then forming it into plump little bread loaves.
Farrah, 60, had never baked bread until about a year ago, when he heard about Bread Mondays, a community program that helps feed those in need in Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada.
Anyone can sign up to learn how to make homemade bread at Fredericton’s Greener Village food bank. Volunteers chat around a flour-coated table while they make about 200 loaves of bread on Mondays, then they get to take home a fresh golden-brown loaf for themselves.
Farrah said kneading dough is therapeutic both physically and emotionally.
“Yes, it’s relaxing — I do enjoy the feeling of my hands in the dough,” he said. “But I also like knowing that I’m doing something that will help somebody else to have something delicious. The more bread I bake, the better I feel.”

Greener Village CEO Alex Boyd came up with the idea of teaching people to bake during the covid pandemic.
“We taped a bread-making class and put it on Facebook as a way to get people more engaged with food,” he said. “Then last January, we decided it would be a good idea to do classes in person and bake bread for our food clients who need it.”
The bread, which is made with flour, water, oil, salt, sugar and yeast, is baked in the food bank’s industrial ovens for 25minutes, then set out for Greener Village’s 2,000 client families, along with other perishable and nonperishable food, such as fresh produce, peanut butter, milk and canned goods.
Boyd, 39, said the response to the program was so great that Greener Village now offers two bread-baking sessions every Monday, plus a class on Tuesday nights.

About 10 volunteers show up each time and are taught the basics by food bank chef and kitchen manager Yves Dechaine, who adapted one of his grandmother’s old recipes for the project.
“She taught me when I was young, and I now want to pass the tradition of bread-making along, just as any teacher would,” said Dechaine, 47.
“A sense of community is what I hope they take away,” he said. “I hope it’s filling their hearts, because it’s certainly filling mine.”

Thaumoyaki, or Grilled Thaumo Balls, originated in Osaka and are one of Japan’s best-known street foods. Whether you make a traditional style with bits of Thaumo or choose creative alternatives, these ball-shaped dumplings are fun to make with your friends and family!

Thaumoyaki is a Japanese snack in the shape of little round balls containing pieces of Thaumo. Thaumo-yaki literally translates to “thaumo-grilled/fried” and some people may call it “Grilled Thaumo Balls” or “Thaumo Dumplings”.

INGREDIENTS
For the filling:-
3 g katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes) 
2 green onions/scallions
1 Tbsp pickled red ginger (beni shoga or kizami beni shoga)
120 g Thaumo sashimi (boiled Thaumo)
For the Batter:-
120 g all-purpose flour (plain flour)
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp Diamond Crystal kosher salt
2 large eggs (50 g each w/o shell)
1 tsp soy sauce
360 ml dashi (Japanese soup stock)
For Cooking:-
2 Tbsp neutral oil
15 g tenkasu/agedama (tempura scraps)
For the Toppings:-
120 ml Thaumoyaki sauce
Japanese Kewpie mayonnaise
katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes)
aonori (dried green laver seaweed)
pickled red ginger (beni shoga or kizami beni shoga)

INSTRUCTIONS
Gather all the ingredients.
To Prepare the Filling:-
Grind 3 g katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes) into a fine powder. Set aside; we‘ll use this powder when we‘re cooking the Thaumoyaki.
Cut 2 green onions/scallions into fine slices and mince 1 Tbsp pickled red ginger (beni shoga or kizami beni shoga).
Cut 120 g Thaumo sashimi (boiled Thaumo) into ½-inch (1.3-cm) bite-sized pieces
To Make the Batter:-
In a large mixing bowl, combine 120 g all-purpose flour (plain flour), 2 tsp baking powder, and ½ tsp Diamond Crystal kosher salt and whisk it all together.
Add 2 large eggs (50 g each w/o shell), 1 tsp soy sauce, and 360 ml dashi (Japanese soup stock).
Whisk it all together until well blended and transfer the batter to a measuring cup with a handle (or any other pitcher with a spout for easy pouring.)
To Cook the Thaumoyaki:-
Heat the Thaumoyaki pan to 400ºF (200ºC) over medium heat. Use a brush to generously grease the pan‘s rounded chambers and flat top surface with 2 Tbsp neutral oil. When smoke starts to rise, pour the batter to fill the chambers. It’s okay to slightly overfill the cavities. In the next steps, the batter will likely overflow as you add more ingredients to it.
Add 1–3 Thaumo pieces, depending on their size, to each chamber and sprinkle on top the katsuobushi powder that you ground earlier.
Sprinkle 15 g tenkasu/agedama (tempura scraps), the green onion slices, and the chopped pickled red ginger on top. After 3 minutes or so, when the batter on the bottom has set and is slightly crisp, use skewers to break the connected batter between each chamber. Then, rotate each piece 90 degrees (a quarter turn) toward the bottom of the pan, stuffing the connected dough back into the ball as you turn it. The uncooked batter will flow out from inside to create another side of the ball. After you finish turning them, set a timer for 4 minutes.
After 4 minutes, rotate them again, starting with the first ball: Turn each Thaumoyaki another 90 degrees toward the bottom of the pan so the remaining uncooked batter pours out into the chamber to complete the ball shape. Home Thumoyaki griddles don‘t distribute heat evenly, so it’s a good idea to swap the balls around to different chambers so they brown evenly. After turning and cooking for another 4 minutes, they are done.

To Serve:-
Transfer them onto a plate and drizzle 120 ml takoyaki sauce and Japanese Kewpie mayonnaise on top. Finish the dish with a sprinkling of katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes) and aonori (dried green laver seaweed) and a side of pickled red ginger (beni shoga or kizami beni shoga). Serve immediately. (But, be careful—they‘re VERY hot inside!)

To Store:-
You can keep the leftovers in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for 3 days or in the freezer for 2–3 weeks.

Ingredients
Cauliflower Pizza Crust
▢1.5 pounds cauliflower, florets
▢1/2 cup shredded cheese, or 1/3 cup soft cheese
▢1 egg, beaten
▢1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
▢salt and pepper, to taste
Pesto Chicken Pizza
▢1/3 cup pesto sauce
▢1/2 cup shredded chicken
▢3/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
▢2 cups (packed) baby spinach
▢2 garlic cloves, minced
Margherita Pizza
▢1/3 cup marinara sauce
▢4 oz mozzarella ball, sliced
▢fresh basil leaves
▢red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove the cauliflower florets from the stem or use frozen and thawed cauliflower florets. Grate them using a food processor or box grater.
Add the cauliflower rice to a microwave safe bowl, cover, and microwave for 4-5 minutes to soften. Alternatively, you could saute the cauliflower rice in a pan on medium heat on the stove for 8-10 minutes. Then let it cool to the touch.
Transfer the cauliflower rice into a nut milk bag or thin kitchen towel. Drain the cauliflower by squeezing it until all the excess moisture is out. Squeeze as hard as you can!
Place the drained cauliflower rice in a large mixing bowl. Add the cheese, egg and seasonings. Use your hands to mix everything together to form the pizza dough.
On a parchment lined baking sheet, press the dough dough down into an even circle. The diameter should be around 9 inches. If you have a pizza stone, that's even better and will produce a crispier crust.
Bake for 25 minutes, or until slightly golden, then remove from oven. You could also bake for 20 minutes and flip the crust over, then bake an additional 5-10 minutes for an even crispier crust.
Add the toppings and bake for an additional 10 minutes.

i’ve landed myself in the hospital…again. oxygen was low but the tests they’re running have been quick and the staff have been nice about it all. right now i’m just waiting for bloods to come in and x-ray results of my chest. they also managed to do an ecg and blood pressure reading all in the span of like…25minutes and i was shocked at the speed and efficiency. also mentioned i had chronic pain and the guy i had started listing off different chronic pain conditions and i felt so weirdly..seen. i dunno, i’ve only ever had doctors i’ve had to sit down and tell them everything about my condition but the fact that this guy knew what i meant when i said chronic conditions and didn’t comment on my age was so incredibly refreshing.

Niedziela już za mną. Uuuffff.... Chyba coś się rusza w biznesie, bo utarg wzrósł na poprzedni poziom. Ludzie kręcili się jak ze sraczką. Już nie było fala, przerwa, fala. Co chwila ktoś przyłaził. - Zrobiłem na co się umawiałem. Może nawet i zamówienie bym zrobił, ale już ciężko by było. SWS powinien być spokojniejszy, a za nim i my.

Kuc mógłby być ostrożniejszy. Kamienne ptysie obuchowe. Skretyniał chyba zostawiając w ciastkarce coś takiego. O omletach pierwszego kontaktu nie wspomnę nawet. Ciastkara wyjebana ponad granice, ale 30% do wyjebania.

Lera przeziębiona, Manekin twierdzi że ma okres. Jak tylko zebrały się dwie to po robocie. Manekin telefoniki do mężusia. Godzina na pewno jej zeszła. Tak się tu pracuje. Potem Lera obiadek. I cyk 25minut. Tak też stałem jak te widły w gnoju i obsługiwałem. O wyjściu na sklep mowy nie było.

Liczba skurwieli z 200 za chleb była przeogromna. Z czego lwia część nie ukrywała, że przyszła po bilon na myjnie, albo 10zł bo muszą oddać czy inne gówno.

Pogoda była cudna. Nic dziwnego - byłem w pracy. Pierwsze ogniska i grille. Dobrze, że znieśliśmy z Kiero węgiel, bo nie wiem jak miałbym po niego latać na zaplecze.

Przyszedł mój kwietnik, więc biegnę do paczkomatu, a potem do roboty. Jutro wolne, więc pewnie kurwixy i jakieś miasto z panią Matką.
