Caitriona Balfe's Loewe SS24 Runway Photo Diary
The 'Outlander' star took T&C behind the scenes to get ready and attend the Paris Fashion Week favorite.
A top-billing show this season in Paris, Jonathan Anderson's Loewe drew red carpet royalty. With the gliterrati out in full force, T&C got an inside look into the show with actress Caitriona Balfe, who took us behind the scenes as she got glammed and dressed for the SS/24 runway presentation. Here, Balfe takes us into her suite before making her way to the castles of Esplanade Saint-Louis, showing behind-the-scenes details of her look. Get a behind-the-scenes-peek!

The Week Ahead: October 23-29, 2023
Lunar Phases
Wednesday, October 25, 12:20 UT - Gibbous Moon, 16°49’ Pisces
The key phrases for the Gibbous lunar phase are “tweak and adjust our plans as needed,” and “pour more effort into our intentions.” We may feel divinely inspired, but be careful - we’re still between eclipses.
Saturday, October 28, 20:24 UT - Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse, 5°09’ Taurus
Ordinarily, a Full Moon means “culminate, illumine, fulfill, manifest” - but this one is an eclipse! Look for delayed reactions to whatever the October 14 solar eclipse kicked up - as well as deeply felt emotions expressing themselves.
Void of Course Moon
Monday, October 23, 19:04 UT (Aquarius) - Tuesday, October 24, 08:33 UT (Pisces)
Thursday, October 26, 06:39 UT (Pisces) - 10:02 UT (Aries)
Saturday, October 28, 08:20 UT (Aries) - 11:44 UT (Taurus)
Retrograde/Direct/Etc.
Pre-retrograde shadow: Vesta/Cancer
Retrograde: Jupiter/Taurus, Saturn/Pisces, Chiron/Aries, Uranus/Taurus, Neptune/Pisces, Eris/Aries
Post-retrograde shadow: nothing until November 4
Transiting Venus has her greatest western elongation on Tuesday, October 24, 02:57 UT, at 14°02’ Virgo. This is similar in “feel” to a First Quarter lunar phase - all systems are now “go” for our Venusian projects and plans.
Ingress
Monday, October 23, 16:21 UT - transiting Sun enters Scorpio
Welcome to Scorpio season, or should I say “Trick or treat!” This can be a very healing month, if we let it - and if we let go of what’s become obsolete in our daily lives.
Et Cetera
There are two Opportunity Periods this week:
Wednesday, October 25, 09:52 UT - Thursday, October 26, 10:02 UT. “While this is a promising OP for creative insights and mind expansion, keep it flexible since we are still currently between eclipses.”
Sunday, October 29, 09:30 UT - Monday, October 30, 15:08 UT. “Get organized, and take advantage of this productive OP to get a lot done.”
Remember, there are only three OPs in all of November - be sure to take advantage of these October OPs, if you find they work well for you.
The week may seem to go a little more smoothly than last week - but it’s still eclipse season. And if that isn’t enough, on Saturday (in addition to the lunar eclipse) we have a provocative Mercury-Mars conjunction in Scorpio, exactly opposite a stubborn Jupiter Rx in Taurus. We’re about to discover what happens when an irresistable force meets an immovable object! We can get each other through this, as we let go of the things we’ve outgrown.
