Let me crystal clear. Whether you're a Republican or Democrat, whether you inherited your wealth, stole it, robbed immigrants, prostituted children. No matter how you bleach your brand, just because you were never convicted doesn't mean that you aren't guilty of an infinite number of crimes. Fraud, felony stalking, child endangerment, libel, cybercrime, hate crimes, child abuse, harassment. NO amount of money or power washes a soul like that clean. You can sell it to your imbecile followers. You will NEVER be able to sell that shit to me.
This is the perfect picture of how I see you. Feel free to call me bitter. Meh. Your philanthropy is fake, your ego swallows a fucking planet, your intellect is fifth rate, you steal other people's ideas and pass them off as your own, you corrupt the purity of original ideas, you fucking monetize everything.
From Oprah, George Clooney, Taylor Swift, to Rupert Murdoch, the Koch Brothers, tech bros to your global absurd relationships with dictators and misogynists. All YOU. All YOU. Seek deep inside that empty ugly brain
I recognize this truth and have felt this way most of my life. I just see all the kindness, compassion, dedication, generosity, humility, genuine service as well. I choose to focus on that.
You should be able to read this open eyed. In every church, in every interview, in every selfish stupid action you take, your children should call you on it. Scientists live with reality constantly. Go forth, accumulate and sell more shit to the poor.
There isn't as much a climate crisis as there is a greed, asshole, corruption, power hungry, misogyny, addiction - HUMAN crisis.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For idiots on the left particularly young women looking for a cause. Stalking is stalking whore. Just because you get away with it or show up at a protest doesn't make you less a criminal. That goes doubly for white women
I'd never fucking let you near my thoughts ideas. A fucking social media BS cancer from the squad to maga.
You should bury yourself with MMT and math.
The cardinal rule of scientists. Don't pass off other people's ideas as your own
Not 3D homes, not SMR, not anything moron
Democrats & Republican women punish and control women. Just getting warmed up. ❤️🇺🇸🤣💋
My life isn't your cause. Your intellectual failures and fixing them should be you uneducated illiterate stupid stupid girl.
Tumblr media
You are culturally and spiritually homeless resulting in a gaping wound of need, addiction, hate, and emptiness looking to be filled.

Nice list! :) And yeah I know that it's hard to make a list of just 10 tracks of a series with so many great tunes. It sure would be awfully hard if someone were to ask you a similar top 10 with something like oh I don't know Castlevania? :P
This ask is more than a year old. At the time I barely played the classic in the series. However, I promised that I'd keep it until I played more Castlevania games.
I'm in a mood to gush about Castlevania music, so :)
10. Bloody Tears (Castlevania 2). Too many versions to list, but my favorite might be the one in Super Castlevania IV if only for that sweet sweet slowdown at the end <3 easily the best of the Holy Trinity for me, sorry VK and Beginnings. The arpeggio at the beginning just sets the tone, and the whole track is simply a bop.
9. Crucifix Held Close (Portrait of Ruin). I struggled to choose my favorites from this masterpiece of an OST, but CHC is growing on me :) I can just hear the thundering rain outside... oh, those strings <3
8. Sinking Old Sanctuary (Bloodlines). Magical. The whole level is nothing but a graphical flex, so of course the track should be a musical flex too, right? It sounds so relaxing and peaceful, contrasting with the section where you have to outrun the rising water. There's a Circle of the Moon version, but, uh... sorry, the GBA soundfont did it no favors :\ check out this acoustic guitar cover instead!
7. Aquarius (Castlevania 3) Famicom version of course :P C3's music has two modes: creepy, and utterly jammable. This one is no exception, and while the level is fairly easy for this game's standard, it manages to pump you up. My favorite version is by far the one in Adventure Rebirth, which hits even harder and even raises one seminote for the second part <3 (again, Circle of the Moon's soundfont did it no favors...)
6. Clockwork (Castlevania 3). Famicom version here as well. Best clock tower theme? Well, I think so. Deliciously baroque, I can hear how it was meant to sound played on a harpsichord <3
5. Iron Blue Intention (Bloodlines) Thank you Portrait of Ruin for making this banger even better 🙏 it hits so hard! Those drums! I don't know how to describe it, it just sounds so good and it won't leave your head.
4. Requiem for the Gods (Symphony of the Night). About time I got to the big one, am I right? :P this area was highly memorable, especially that jaw dropping 3D chapel room, and I simply like how... holy this track feels. I can just picture an enormous cathedral full of paintings and stained windows, and the sense of awe that grips you at such a sight. That organ solo near the end of the loop feels like a priest absolving you of your sins. This arrangement gave me chills :')
3. Dracula's theme (Super Castlevania IV). Bombastic, shredding final boss themes are always great. Final boss themes that go for the tragic or eerie, however, are special, and create a whole different feeling. It's actually a slighter faster version of the intro theme, creating a bookend. The buildup that accompanies you from Death's defeat to Dracula's room sticks with you. The whole track seems like it's going to build up to something, but it never does, keeping a somber, tragic vibe. What is the tragedy, though? Is Simon doomed to die against such a powerful foe? Or is Dracula's destiny set in stone, and there's some hope for you? Well, Simon's theme playing in the second half answers this question...
2. Crystal Teardrops (Symphony of the Night). The journey this one track takes you through. First, a groovy bass. Then, compressed drums that create a cool drum 'n' bass melody. Then a lively piano. Then a more somber reed instrument as you descend down the caves. And finally an organ to remind you that you're still in a dangerous place, and you could still go deeper. Add to this the gorgeous caverns it plays in, and you have an iconic piece.
Lost Painting (Symphony of the Night). No crazy emotions or complexity here. This is simply a beautiful piece of music. The Inverted Castle is a dangerous place full of strong enemies, but in some areas, a lullaby soothes your nerves, gently urging you to march on. Depending on how you see it, you could also sense sadness and, well, lost, maybe reflecting Alucard's conflict over his goal of killing his own father. But personally, this track just makes me happy. Listen to this with your eyes closed :) or better yet, listen to it as played by Michiru Yamane herself.

Kissing Dead Pearls (Part 10)
He could never find her, no matter how hard he tried. No one could find her and no one ever did. Not until she wanted them too.
“It’s just a dumb game Azula!” Zuko would always declared. “Who cares if you always win.” He did and she knew it. They all cared and they were all jealous.
She always had the best hiding spots and she owed it partially to her teeny build; she could scramble into places that none of her friends, save for Toph, could fit in. To some extent, she still can, but not as many as she could as a child.
That day she had tucked herself into a particularly tight wedge nestled in the cove. During their play, nothing was off limits, every crevice and orifice was fair game. Though they mostly avoided the cave in the cove because it was too dark and too wet.
Azula had always been more adventurous, more darling, and, in childhood, more reckless and less careful. She shambled up a large rock, it was slick and wet and she was almost certain that she would fall and give away her hiding spot with a large splash. Luck was on her side, she managed to cling on and reach the top. From there she climbed her way into the wedge and waited, listening to the waves lapping against the sandstone and the steady drip drop of the moisture leaking from the cave ceiling. She could feel slimy seaweed sloughing down her arm and she stuck her tongue out in disgust. But she would endure it for the sake of her victory streak.
A few minutes turn into ten and then ten into fifteen before she heard Sokka and Zuko declare they gave up. Their voices were distant. It took another five before Katara made her declaration.
Azula’s smugness turned to pure dread in an instant. It is the instant that she tried to pull herself out of the wedge. It was an all encompassing terror when she found that the hole in the wall was too small for even she afterall. She remembers how her stomach had sank. How another ten minutes went by and then another. A feeling of suffocation and helplessness as she tried fruitlessly to back out of the crevice. An effort that only became more worthless as the panic had set in more.
Soon it had been an hour and then two before it finally occurred to her that she should cry or, at least, scream. She intended to only scream once, but that had opened the floodgates to all out bawling.
That was all she had needed to do. “I found you!” Sokka declared smugly. She had never been more relieved to lose a game.
Hakoda’s voice was the next that she’d heard, a soothing and soft one instructing her to stop crying for a moment and to relax her body as much as possible and then to suck in her belly and duck her head as close to the floor as she could.
Strong hands wrapped around her ankles and pulled. She’d heard Ursa whimpering softly. She was given a few bone jerking tugs before her body had come free. Her knees were skinned and her cheeks and elbows scrapped. Ozai had passed her to Ursa who’d held her nearly as tightly as the cave had and caressed her hair.
She hadn’t gotten in trouble that night, they were too relieved for that, but she had earned a reputation for constant childhood accidents and mishaps.
.oOo.
She doesn’t want to go home, she wants to go anywhere but home. But the longer she delays, the madder he is going to get. Katara knows this. She usually doesn’t like to be touched, but this time she lets Katara rub her back while she sits with her elbows digging into her thighs and her face buried in her hands.
Hakoda is just as aware as Katara. “If you need to stay here until he sobers up, you can take Sokka’s bed. I know that he won’t mind.”
Azula nods despite her apprehension. She hasn’t been in his room since he’d disappeared. She isn’t sure that she can take it, not tonight. Not when her mental state is already in the beginning stages of immense turmoil.
“You don’t mind the sofa, do you, Zuko?” The man asks.
“Couch is fine.” She hears his reply from down the hall.
She puts her hand on the doorknob but can’t bring herself to turn it. She gives a slight jolt at the sound of footsteps. “It was hard for me at first, too.” Katara confesses. “But it isn’t so bad after that.”
Azula takes a deep breath and twists the knob. The door falls open and she is greeted by a familiar ambiance. His walls are painted deep blue, he hasn’t bothered to take down the ocean life wall stickers that he’d put up as a kid. In fact he still has a few stuffed sharks and jellyfish strewn about in the corner. But he has also acquired several surfboards to hang on the wall--strictly decorative. And from the ceiling hang a collection of shark teeth and a few fishbones.
The floor has as much clutter as she remembers; a stack of knocked over reggaeton and reggae albums lies at the foot of his bed near a collection of sport-themed DVD’s. Clothes, mostly socks and aloha shirts, are cast randomly about the floor and drape over a chair by a desk.
The desk teems with other trinkets; a few bobble heads, 3D photo crystals depicting jelly fish, some unopened snack bars, and a few poorly done drawings along with pencils among other things. She then finds the pictures. There is one of just he and Katara holding fishing poles. Next to that is one of their family at the grand opening of their food joint. And next to that… Her stomach flutters and her eyes prickle. He has his arm around her, flashing the camera a goofy grin. He wears the most ridiculous pineapple shaped sunglasses and a straw hat. She remembers him forcing her to wear an even more ridiculous clownfish hat and a cheap rainbow lei.
Her tear finally escapes when she sees the next photo. She doesn’t remember it having been taken. Which is probably because she is asleep in the photo. Asleep and clutching a stuffed stingray. The same one she’d had since she was a child and her parents took she and Zuko to the aquarium. She is certain that Zuko still has his stuffed turtle.
She wishes that Sokka were home, if only to kick his ass for sneaking that picture. “He really liked that one.” Katara nods to that picture.
“Yeah…” she trails off quietly. “I’m sure he did.”
“I’ll leave you alone?”
Azula nods.
“I’ll send Zuko to get you when dinner is ready.”
She nods once more.
She waits until Katara leaves to make her way to Sokka’s bed. Her lower lip trembles as she climbs into it and bunches herself into a ball. It smells like him. In some way, being tangled in his blankets is like being swaddled in his arms. But it lacks the warmth that he had. In the privacy of the room she cries more openly. For the loss of Sokka. For the loss of her mother. For the loss of her father as he used to be.
She cries for her failed attempt. For her inability to even search for Sokka. For the abuse she’d taken and for the abuse she was about to take as soon as she inevitably faced her father. He was going to reek of alcohol and testosterone.
Her eyes are dry again and she has managed to catch an hour or so of sleep when she hears the knock. “The food is ready. It smells wonderful too.” Zuko calls.
“You can meet me at the table, Zuzu.” Groggily, Azula pulls herself up. She runs her hands over her face. She knows that her makeup is smeared and her hair is tousled. It doesn’t really matter, she has no one to impress right now.
She makes her way to the kitchen and pulls out a chair. Kya offers her a loving smile and her belly flutters again. That smile reminds her too much of her mothers for her to not have to bite the inside of her lip to keep tears at bay. She is being much too sentimental tonight.
“I’m sorry that you’re having such a rough night, sweetheart.” Kya cups her hand over Azula’s.
She doesn’t seem to take much offense at Azula’s lack of an answer. She eats in silence, listening to the other four make mundane conversation mostly about shows and how the restaurant repairs are coming along. She picks at her food, not really tasting it at all. It isn’t that the food isn’t rich and scrumptious, more so that her taste buds have dulled and her appetite has fled to make room for a feeling of sorrow.
There comes a knock, a heavy knock. Azula’s stomach plummets and the rest of her appetite is sapped away.
“I think that it is better if you return home.” Hakoda fills the doorway.
“I need to talk to her.” Ozai insists. She listens for a slur.
“We are in the middle of dinner.”
“I can wait.” She doesn’t need to see him to know that he his crossing his arms.
“After dinner we have other plans.”
“The discussion will not be long.” She hears no slur and she isn’t sure if this is more or less worrisome.  She wonders if she should just get it over with. With a deep breath she stands.
“Azula…” Zuko starts. She pulls her wrist out of his grasp and makes her way to the door. Her eyes are dim and as impassive as she can will them to be.
Hakoda seems to go tense.
“Father.” She greets as dimly as her eyes.
The man looks her over and rubs his hand over his face again. “I didn’t come to the beach to fight with you.”
“But you still did it.” She mumbles, absently massaging her bruised wrists. His eyes follow her hand and find the purple-yellow. She thinks that he might have winced. She slips that hand into her pocket. “What do you want.”
He holds out an ice pack, “just to talk with you.”
“We can talk when you’re sober.” She replies with as much coldness as the pack he holds out. She retreats back into the house.
They are three of Sokka’s favorite romantic comedies in, and she still can’t get Ozai out of her mind. She wishes that Sokka could be there to watch the movies with them.
.oOo.
Being back in the lighthouse is dreadful. She knew that Hakoda and Kya couldn’t let them stay forever. Though they offered to take them back if Ozai laid a hand on either of them. Her father isn’t home yet, but this is much worse than him having waited by the door. The anxiety of waiting for him to finally arrive is getting to she and Zuko both.
Zuko spends the better portion of the day pacing around the lighthouse. She is more subdued, taking up the demeanor of a death row inmate, with a silent resignation of her fate.
The door falls open and Zuko jolts. Azula grips the edge of her chair as Ozai’s footfalls echo. “Both of you!” He calls. Zuko freezes where he stands, his body locks. Azula can feel her mind ebbing away. It has been a long time since her mind has gone distant and impassive, but it is her only defense. “Come down and have a seat.”
Zuko catches her hand as she numbly lets her feet take over. “Azula, don’t.” She shakes her head. “Better to get it over with.”
Zuko follows her down the spiral staircase. Ozai sits at the table, waiting. Feeling slightly wobbly, she takes her own seat. Zuko remains standing and a distance away from the table. When it comes to father, he might just be smarter than she.
Their father takes a deep breath, sets a stack of papers onto the table, and pushes them towards her. She quietly scans them over.
“What are those for?” Zuko asks.
She meets Ozai’s stare and he nods. “They’re...AA forms, Zuzu.”
“Khozen wouldn’t pour me another glass until I went.” He grumbles.
“How long have you been attending?” Zuko asks.
“Just a few days now.”
“Is that where you were on Monday?” Azula asks, suddenly feeling as though she had been the aggressor on the beach that day.
He pinches the bridge of his nose before confessing, “no, I was at the bar.”
“So much for, Khozen not pouring you another glass…” Zuko grumbles.
“I went to AA and he poured me a glass as he said he would.” Ozai shrugs.
“Have fun sharing that story at your next meeting.” Zuko crosses his arms. “Is that all you wanted?”
“Not quite.” Ozai replies. “I want you to take that boat that the two of you bough and return it…”
“I’m going to find Sokka.” Azula hisses. “I…”
“What you are going to do, Azula, is return that boat.” He pauses. “That money was your college fund, was it not?”
Azula flushes.
“And Zuko’s...and a good portion of our lighthouse fund.”
Her lower lip quivers.
“You are going to return that boat. Khozen’s will do us just fine and it will cost us much less.”
Azula looks up from the table. “Khonzen’s boat?”
“He used to be a pirate. He and I struck a deal. If I...succeed with this,” he gestures to the packets, “he will lend me the boat free of charge and we can go and search for answers together.” He pauses. “I lost your mother, I’m not about to let the two of you sail away without me. Understood.”
Tears well in her eyes again, but this time they are born of a different emotion. Hope, she realizes. She nods, “yes, father.”
“Does that sound fair to you?”
Frankly, she thinks that, for once, her father might be getting the short end of the deal. But then, getting clean isn’t such a terrible fate. “It does.”
“Does that sound fair to both of you?”
Zuko shifts his weight, never uncrossing his arms. “I guess.” Azula can’t blame him for his skepticism.
“Can you wait a little longer?” He asks. “Maybe help Katara and her family with La-bsters and have you surf tournaments with Chan? And then we can go out to sea.”
“Can I bring Katara?” Zuko asks.
“That is up to Hakoda and Kya.”
Azula doesn’t particularly want to delay, but the offer on the table shows more promise than spending her college fund and taking an impulsive, grief-driven expedition. “I can wait a little longer.”

Ship of Dreams (Titanic 1997 AU) | Prologue
Tumblr media
Gif not mine
A/N: So this fic has been brewing since last month and I put it off because of the list of fics I had in mind. This is special to me because like... I mean I cry every time at this movie. So I would like to thank the people over at the best GC in the world for basically pushing me to do this, especially @witchymegg I love you all. I'm still gonna call the ship Titanic bc I want to. (This will contain actual Titanic references and a lot of revisions in the dialogues.)
Pairing: Original Character x Reader
Warnings: No page break (I always have to say this bc I am on the app)
"We're here..." Mikhail Petrovna says as the two submersibles lower deep into the depths of the Atlantic. Ruins of a once lively ship gracing the cameras that they controlled.
Jared McKinley took the camera they use for documentation, as other people in the submersibles looked out of the small windows. The ship was covered in sea garbarge as fish swam in and out of its crevices.
"It still gets me every time..." Jared says as he filmed through the window, filling the blurry frame.
Baron and Mikhail chuckled and made remarks on their venture to the sunken ship. Going in deeper and deeper as the clock ticked.
"It still gets me every time... to see the sad ruin of the great ship sitting here, where she landed at 2:30 in the morning, April 15, 1912, after her long fall from the world above." Jared narrated as the submersible navigated down, capturing also deep sea squids, floating gracefully in the murky water.
"You're so full of shit, boss..." Baron Martin remarks earning a chuckle from the two other men as they reached target depth.
"Here we are again on the deck of Titanic," Jared says as he documents the rugged deck, teeming with marine algae and sand, "Two and a half miles down. The pressure is three tons per square inch, enough to crush us like a freight train over an ant if our haul fails...
The video camera skimmed over Jared's face as he spilled information on his monologue, "These windows are nine inches thick and if they go," a short pause in his speech as he spoke, looking up to see how deep they've been going under the ocean, "It's sayonara in two microseconds."
One of the submersibles landed on the deck, and the other some place else to get ready to use another piece of technology they had in store.
After his little monologue, they went to work. Baron slipped on the 3D Electronic goggles and held on to the joysticks to control the ROV.
"Walking the dog," Baron says as he controlled the orange box, suspended with a thick wire connected to the database inside the submersible.
It skimmed through the various ruins inside the ship. Ornate wood carvings engraved the interior of the majestic ghost ship, a piano in pretty mint condition given that it has been underwater since the 1910's. The ivory keys and their desire to separate from the ebony ones but they do not move.
The device moves around the grand chandelier suspended in the once alive ship, it's crystals covered in sea dirt dulling it's shine but only for some parts of it.
It ventures further into the ghostly mansion-esque structure, a glass bottle of what it looks to be champagne and fine china, defining that the ship once carried people of high class.
The device then ventures in with its lights illuminating the eerie scene, a woman's shoe and a porcelain doll's head, devoid of its body, hair and eyes.
It then spots one of the grandest suites of the ship, entering room B-52. Jared scolded Baron a little, saying to go slow and not like the day past. He rogers it and slowly enters the room.
The once plush bed now in ruins, the material draping in the movement of the water, it's probably white color now a dark gray because of it's age. The device then moves in a cloud of grey, a mixture of sand and rust.
It then spots an old tub and broken chairs, however it's not of Jared's interest. As it skims further in the room, the camera spots a wardrobe. In a story like this, a thing like a wardrobe can carry the deepest of secrets, even a blessing in disguise.
Jared asks to see what is under the wardrobe. The ROV deploys its robotic arms as it clears the antiques in its way, "Be careful, Martin."
The man who controlled the orange ROV mumbled an 'I will' as the device lifted up debris and antiques off near the wardrobe. They recovered a dark object, not so dark anymore that the light of the Dog shown on its features.
"Ohh McKinley... Are you seeing what I think I'm seeing??" Baron hoots as they recovered the metal box...
Jared scoots closer to the monitor that shows what the device just saw. A rusty metal box covered in silt and sand.
"It's pay day, boys..."

Inside a net, the locked safe ascended from the Atlantic ocean. Everybody cheering as it boarded the boat. Every person on board gathered around the safe as they celebrated.
Baron wrapped his arm around Jared, "Who's the beeest??" He asked excitedly as Jared rolled his eyes playfully at him.
"You... Baron..." he says with a small smile as Baron pops open a bottle of Champagne, its bubbles spurting all over the men on deck.
The safe was being opened by a sharp turning blade, the hot sparks emitted getting sputtered on the orange specks of light as it the metal cracked open. The noise went down as a warm brown sludge flowed out of the decade old safe, pried open by a chain and a tug.
Jared bent down on his knees, the camera man hot behind him as the lenses anticipated the greatest treasure yet. His hand pulled out books and pieces of paper covered in the mixture of silt, rust and water.
He took out a stack of paper, rather large in dimension and paused for a second. He put it down then dug deep in the safe, but found not diamonds, but sludge.
Everybody fell silent in disappointment. His career as a treasure hunter tainted with the failure of his mission. The money spent, the sweat perspired, to waste.
"No diamonds..." one man remarks at the obvious fact that there is no diamonds. The face of Jared as the realization washed over him like a tsunami.
"Shit."
"You know, Gary's career went down and never went up again because of something like this," Baron says lowly, his words toxic like that of poison ivy as it was bearable, as a man like Jared tried to not get such words get to his head.
The camera was at his face, embarrassment and shame gracing his features as the tention increased. He furrowed his brows, "Turn the camera off."
💎
He went down inside the boat, the technicians working to uncover parts of the Titanic long forgotten, and unknown to the other passengers. Just the riches they know, but not the contents it once held.
"The investors want a word with you, McKinley," Derrick Bay says as Jared barks at the camera men, covering the phone.
"Hey, Ryan? Tyler? Yeah... It's not in the safe..." Jared says to the phone, explaining how it could be someplace else in the ship, to not let the investors down. During his explaining his eyes met the monitor in front of him, showing a view of the water cleaning up a painting of a woman, who is casually nude and young.
The water cleared the drawing's bosom refealing between the valley of the woman's breast holding a big diamond, a diamond in a darker color laced on her neck with smaller crystals, assumed to be diamonds in their infamous colorless crystal color.
"W-wait let me see this," he tuts as he asks for the picture of the treasure he's looking for and compared it to the necklace the young woman was wearing.
They further analyzed the drawing which was made with pencil, seeing the date at the bottom and the artist's initial's beside it, with an erasure at the first letter.

"I'll be God damned..."
💎
"Treasure Hunter Jared McKinley, mostly famed for finding Spanish Gold in the galleons of the Caribbean harnests the use of technology and submergence to find out what priceless valuables the sunken Titanic has in store after 84 years. He's with us via satellite in a Russian research center in the Atlantic. Hello, McKinley..." the anchor says in the news, the small television's sounds slightly audible to the ancient woman working on her pottery.
"Hey, Wendy... See, the Titanic is not just a shipwreck. It's the queen of shipwrecks... The elites stayed there..." he went on telling the story of the Titanic briefly, as questions fired at him from the new anchor.
The old woman stands up, her hair away from her face as her frail body hunches as she straightened herself. She wipes the red earth off of her fingers with a rag as her dog Diamond follows after her, nearing to the television.
"Meg, can you please turn up please, dear?" She asks of her grand daughter, Meg Treville.
She obliges as the sound of the television became clearer for her centennial ears, but she saw the drawing as clear as that in her teens...
"I'll be God damned."
💎
"McKinley, there's a call for you on satellite..." Derrick says as Jared ignores him as he instructs men to lower the submersibles for another expedition in the deep.
"Can't you see I'm working, Bay... Take a message..." he says not making eye contact with the man who holds the answers he's not expecting.
"I swear you don't want to turn down this call, Jared." He pleas, a reluctant look paints Jared's face, "You need to turn your voice up, she's kinda old..."
Jared held the phone in his hand, hesitant to speak to a possible poser, "This is Jared McKinley, Mrs..."
"Treville... Y/N Treville..." Derrick says, battling the whirring of the machines behind them...
"Mrs. Treville..." He says politely to the old woman on the other line...
"I was just wondering if you found the 'Heart of the Ocean' yet, Mr. McKinley?" She asks, her voice aged and wise as the two men shared looks of shock.
"I told you don't want to miss this call," Derrick beamed as Jared mustered up a small smile...
"Okay, Y/N... You got my attention... Now, tell me who is the woman in the picture?" Jared asks, as if taunting Y/N... But Y/N was taught at a young age not to lie.
"Oh yes... The woman in the picture is me."

10 Things Your Mom Really Wants this Mother’s Day
Sometimes it is easy to take your mom for granted. She has always been a permanent fixture in your life. Your mom never asks for anything in return for her unconditional love.  Thank goodness for Mother’s Day. You can pay her some attention.  Here is a list of things you can do for your mom this Mother’s Day
Chore-free day
Your mom will appreciate waking up to a clean house and an empty sink. You can also do the laundry and take out the garbage.
Hot Drink
You might find this hard to believe, but your mom reheats her first cup of coffee or tea more than once. Time is of the essence in her life, so she never enjoys a whole cup at a go. Serve her a hot drink and let her drink it in one sitting.
Surprise her with a meal
Make your mom breakfast and let her have it in bed. Or, if you know her favorite food, you can prepare her a home-cooked meal or take her out for a fancy dinner.
Me time
Invite her to do something she rarely has time to do: binge on her favorite TV show, read, or chat with her friends.
Would you please make time to be with her?
It shows her you are sensitive to her needs. Going through some old photos with her will make your mom happy.
A whole night of rest
Moms rarely get the rest they deserve. Please get rid of her alarm clock and let her sleep round the clock on her day.
Acknowledge her
You can talk to her about one of your shortcomings that she keeps pointing out to you. Commit to working on it, and you’re affirming that her opinion matters.
I love you
Sit with your mom, look her in the eye, hug her, and let her know that you love her.
A token of appreciation
Is your mom a flower lover? Get her a bouquet of orchids, carnations, or lilies. Or does she enjoy a good soak in the tub once in a while? Get her some scented bath oils.
Take an interest in her hobbies
Ask her about her garden or the book she is reading but has never finished. You encourage her self-development.
Well done. But let’s face it, there will always be dirty dishes, dirty laundry, and the garbage will pile up again.  How about you get your mom a memorable keepsake?

Day 6: Presents
Even when I’m not busy I’m late, sorry. I was just so tired yesterday for some reason, I’m going to catch up again by tonight though! I hope you enjoy! ❤️
When Allura announced that they would be going to the space mall, everyone was understandably excited. They calculated that it would have been December on Earth even if they couldn’t narrow down the exact date. They could celebrate Christmas whenever they wanted to though. They told Coran and Allura about the holiday and found out that they had a holiday much like it except it was on the opposite time of the year when it would have been around June on Earth; because of it, they opted to celebrate their holiday then and not Christmas with them. Although they were a bit disappointed, it was understandable that they would want to celebrate an Altean holiday.
As they searched through the stores it was easy to pick things out for each of the paladins, things on the shelf just reminded them of each other. By the time they got back to the Castle, they thought that they would be able to make each other’s Christmases with no problems.
However, there was an identical factor between four of the paladins. They all forgot to buy for one of them.
They agreed that they would meet in the lounge after they were finished getting their gifts ready for each other. They couldn’t wait an extra few days to do a Christmas morning and instead wanted to get it done and celebrate as quickly as possible. They agreed and split off to their own rooms.
As they wrapped their gifts, the realization came over them. They only had three gifts each to give to their teammates. They panicked slightly before realizing that the gift they forgot was for Lance. He wouldn’t really mind, as long as he got something for somebody else and they said that they would get something for him later. He only really cared about the money that was spent on it anyway.
It didn’t take them long before they were in the lounge with their piles waiting to start.
“Who wants to go first?” Shiro asked as he sat down. Pidge’s hand immediately shot up earning a chuckled from the rest of them. They agreed and handed over her gifts. She ripped them open quickly, not surprised at the various computer junk that she expected from the team. She stopped when Lance cleared his throat and she looked over at him. He was holding out his present for her to take.
Lance handed her over two gifts though. She ripped open the smaller box first, not sure what Lance could have gotten her. She wasn’t expecting much out of him though. Not until she unwrapped a brand new Nintendo 3DS. Her head whipped up to look at Lance in surprise.
“I found it in the Earth shop, thought you might want something you can carry around with you,” he said with a smile, thoroughly enjoying the excited look on her face. She quickly ripped into the other package, revealing a stack of games including Pokémon, Legend of Zelda, Kirby, and others.
“Lance this is awesome, thanks!” She cheered hopping up and wrapping him in a hug. He laughed and squeezed her back before she plopped herself on the floor and started up the console. They figured that she was going to see how well it worked, when actually she was trying to distract herself from the painful squeezing in her stomach. Guilt came over her like a wave when she remembered that she hadn’t picked anything out for Lance.
“Do you really like it?” Lance asked with a bashful smile directed towards her. She frantically nodded her head. He only smiled and turned his attention back to the group who was deciding who would get their gifts next. Finally, Keith huffed and just pointed to Hunk instead of arguing over it anymore. Before Hunk could try to volunteer someone else, they reached over and plopped their gifts in his lap.
“Oh. Well, okay then,” he relented before he started ripping into the packages. He smiled and thanked the paladins as he unwrapped the gifts. From Shiro, he got lion shaped oven mitts, a new apron from Keith, and a tall chief’s hat from Pidge. When he picked up the small round box from Lance, he immediately felt calm for some reason. He glanced up at Lance and saw that he was excitably wringing his hands together and staring at the box in his hands.
Before he could even open the box, he could feel the guilt rising up in his stomach. Lance was his best friend, and he had forgotten to buy for him, at Christmas no less. He popped the top off and gasped when he saw the glowing stone inside. He carefully lifted it up by the chain for the crystal to dangle in front of his eyes.
“Is-is this from a Balmara?” He asked in awe looking over at Lance who had a big smile on his face. He nodded his head excitably and clapped his hands.
“Where did you find this in the space mall?”
“Oh, I didn’t,” he admitted rubbing his neck as a blush formed on his cheeks.
“I actually got in contact with Shay a little while ago and asked if she could send a piece of a crystal through the Blade so I could make a necklace for you out of it,” he revealed. They gaped at the process that Lance went through, just to give his friend a stone on Christmas.
“Whoa, thanks, Lance,” Hunk said in disbelief looping it around his neck.
“That's not all though, Shay said that if you hold it near your heart the two of you will be able to communicate through the Balmara,” Lance said even more excited as he gestured madly at the pendant. Hunk gaped and clutched the crystal in his fist before holding it tightly to his chest and closing his eyes. His eyes snapped open when he felt a shot of warmth travel through his body.
“Oh my God Lance, thank you so much,” he whispered. Tears were beginning to well up in his eyes. A mix of happiness at beginning able to feel Shay again and the horrible shame that he knew Lance was going to be disappointed when his friend didn’t get anything for him. Although he knew that Lance wasn’t someone that would get angry over something like that, he knew that it would still hurt the blue paladin’s feelings.
They started arguing again when they were trying to decide who they wanted to decide who went next.
“Age before beauty Shiro,” Lance finally said.
“Yeah Shiro,” Keith smirked leaning back on the couch. Shiro rolled his eyes before accepting the gifts that were sent his way. He chuckled at the eyeliner and #1 dad mug from Keith and Pidge and thanked Hunk sincerely for the new boots.
“I’m really sorry I don’t know if I’m crossing a line with this one Shiro,” Lance said as he sheepishly handed over the package to the leader. He quirked his brow at the admission and heaved it onto his lap, it was a lot heavier than he initially thought. He looked up from the wrapped package to look at Lance in confusion. He was looking down at his lap instead and clenching his hands in his pant legs. He nervously tore the paper away from the box and lifted up the lid.
“What the- what the hell is this?” He whispered. The rest of the paladins peered into the box before looking up at Lance with wide eyes.
“Where did you find this?” Shiro asked, tracing his fingers over the white metal fingers of the prosthetic arm.
“Well, actually I made it myself,” he admitted looking up into Shiro’s eyes. He flinched slightly when Shiro tore his fingers away from it as if he had been burned.
“You made this?” Keith asked in awe, still looking flabbergasted down at it.
“Um, yes? I was learning about being a prosthetist instead of a cargo pilot before I was moved to fighter class, I learned all about these kinds of things, and I knew that there were only bad memories attached to your galra one so I wanted to make you this new one,” he told them. They were all shocked and Shiro started tearing up as he looked down at the new arm. The metal on it was matte black and white and shone with blue energy instead of purple.
“I hope I didn’t go too far,” he said ashamed. Shiro’s head whipped up to face him and shook his head frantically.
“No Lance, this is perfect,” he said choking up. He reached up and swiped at his eyes, trying to get rid of the water that was leaking out of them. Lance let out a loud sigh of relief and collapsed back on the couch. As tears rolled down his cheeks he could only feel the guilt well up in his chest, making more tears well up. He could see the happiness on his face, even though he hadn’t received anything and only saw how glad Shiro was for what he got from Lance.
Keith looked over to Lance for a split second before Lance opened his mouth.
“Age before beauty remember?” He said with a grin. Keith rolled his eyes but accepted his presents. He smiled though, as he opened up the presents. From Hunk he got a new pair of gloves, from Pidge a pair of sunglasses that said badass across the lenses, and a stuffed hippo from Shiro.
“I’m going to kill you for this,” he hissed at the grinning leader even as he hugged it to his chest. He took the last package and ripped it open.
“What is this?” Keith asked looking up from the tablet to look at Lance. “Did you just get me a tablet?” After all the things that he had gotten for the rest of his friends, he was kind of disappointed that Lance hadn’t gotten him something as monumental as them. Although, he really shouldn’t think like that since he hadn’t gotten the blue paladin anything either.
“Well, kind of,” he said shrugging his shoulders before getting up and sitting beside Keith instead. He took it from his hands and entered one of the folders before handing it back to him. There was now a picture of a galra facing them. It was a female from what they could tell and she had thick dark hair and bright violet eyes. He looked up at Lance in confusion, waiting for an explanation.
“I started asking Kolivan for some information and told him about you, and he gave me all the information he could on someone named Kara, we think she might be your mother,” he said. Keith’s head whipped up to look at Lance, tears already welling up in his eyes.
“What?” He choked out weakly.
“She had a mission on Earth and didn’t report back for years, when she did they informed her that her position was compromised and she came back to the Blade but she seemed devastated and she was posted at a second base further away then their communications could reach,” he said holding onto Keith trembling hands. He stared into Lance’s eyes, tears falling freely in shock as he took in his words.
“Every Blade has a tracker on them that monitors their health though and it shows that she is still alive, you could visit her if you want to,” Lance said softly. Keith turned to him in shock before collapsing onto him with a sob.
“Thank you so much, you don’t know how much this means to me,” he said clutching onto Lance’s shoulders.
“Well, if I thought about how much I would miss my mamá if she left without an explanation, I couldn’t stand to let you feel that for much longer,” he said softly ruffling Keith hair before they broke apart. Keith couldn’t stand it any longer and threw himself down on the couch beside Lance with a cry.
“I’m sorry!” he wailed clutching onto Lance’s pants. The shame was flowing out of him in waves.
“For what?” He asked threading his fingers gently through Keith’s hair.
“I didn’t get you anything, I’m so sorry,” he wailed pressing his wet eyes into Lance’s thigh. Lance sighed but didn’t let up on his petting.
“It’s okay Keith,” he said. Inwardly he was disappointed though, maybe the other’s gifts would make up for it though. It was obvious that Keith was feeling guilty because of it and he was going through an emotional breakdown right now. It wasn’t the time for him to feel greedy.
“No, it’s not,” Keith argued. “I promise I’ll get you something later, I promise that I’ll make it up to you,” he cried. Lance looked at him sadly for a second before looking at the rest of them with a smile. It dropped quickly though, as he saw that they were all averting their eyes to the floor and various points of the room. His heart quickly sunk in realization.
“Keith wasn’t the only one was he?” They looked up to glance at each other, hoping that at least one of them had a gift for the blue paladin.
“W-we just, I mean we, ah,” they tried to defend themselves. There was visible heart ache on his face though as he looked at them.
“We’re so sorry Lance,” Hunk said looking down at the floor, his hand clutched around the pendant around his neck. He looked at them in shock before pointing his gaze to the floor.
“It’s okay,” he said quietly but it was loud in the silence of the room. They went to argue but Lance held up and hand for them to stop.
“I’m just happy that you liked what I got for you,” he said before he gently stood up away from Keith, who looked up with a devastated expression. “I’m gonna go to bed guys, please don’t come see me until breakfast tomorrow, I really want to be alone,”
With that he turned and walked out of the room. It wasn’t until he got half way there did tears start falling off of his chin and he let out a tiny sob. He tried to stop, thinking that he was being greedy and he shouldn’t be this upset that he didn’t get presents from them. It wasn’t about the gifts though, it was that they forgot about him. Out of all the people on the ship, they forgot about him.
He strode into his room, not even bothering to do his nightly routine or change into his pyjamas before he fell onto his bed. He couldn’t bring himself to get up, the hurt that welled up in his chest and stomach weighed him down.
Don’t be greedy Lance. They didn’t mean to. Don’t be greedy.

Five-Dimensional Multiverse
Hello everyone !
Today’s theory is a long one, but first, let me start with a disclaimer : I don’t know what I’m talking about. I know enough about Magic and Math both to be able to sound smart, but not enough to have thought about everything. I’ll also add that this theory has nearly nothing supporting it, it just seems to fit in most cases. But you know what ? Read that blog’s title !
So what is this theory ? Basically, that the Multiverse, including the Blind Eternities, functions roughly like a five (or more, but five seems more probable) dimensional space. Let’s dig a bit deeper.
So, everybody here have heard at least ten times ‘The Talk’ about parrallel dimensions in every other science fiction movie or book. We’re not talking about that kind of dimensions. Well, it can be linked. But don’t picture alternate realities. A dimension is a direction you can’t go in using a combination of the other dimensions. With one dimension, you can be in only one direction, you can move on a single line. With two, you can leave that line, and wander around on a surface, or plane (not a Plane though). With three, you can leave that plane and explore a space. The fourth direction is time, because you can’t arguably move in time by moving around in space. Well, you can, but that’s only because our universe is built on the four dimensions, not just the three of space.
Our universe, in most cases, works like a four-dimensional space. We can move around in space, and we do move around in time. We even move in non-straight lines in time because we’re moving in space. However, we can’t move by ourselves freely in time, so we see most things as three dimensionals in the frame of that fourth dimension.
In theory, we can build spaces with as many dimensions as we want. Simply take the ones we have, and add a direction you can’t go in. Take that three 3D axis and add another axis orthogonal (perpendicular in space) to all of them, and call it ‘time’. It gets weird to imagine, so just observe slices of that 4D space into 3 dimensions, one after the other. Now we can add a fifth dimension by adding another axis orthogonal to all others. There the human mind starts to have a hard time representing what’s happening. We could continue adding dimensions as long as we want, mathematics have created and studied spaces with all numbers of dimensions, even spaces with an infinite number of dimensions, however these have slightly different properties.
Tumblr media
(Glimpse the Future, by Andrew Robinson)
The theory is that the Planes of the Multiverse are actually four-dimensional hyperplanes of the five-dimensional Multiverse. These sure are a lot of words. The names fit at least ? An hyperplane is a section of a space on one dimension less than its number of dimension. For example, in a three-dimensional plane, a hyperplane is a plane. In a two-dimensional space, an hyperplane is a line (despite the name). In a five-dimensional space, an hyperplane would be a four-dimensional hyperplane… A four-dimensional space like ours. Like Ravnica. Or Dominaria. Well, not exactly, some, maybe most, planes have properties that doesn’t fit with infinite hyperplanes, so maybe a PART of that hyperplane.
Up to here, we haven’t said a lot. But matter as we know it only exists linked to these hyperplanes. It is four dimensional in nature. Its imprint, as seen from the five-dimensional Multiverse, would be naught, or maybe just energetic. Between the Planes, or on the same space as the planes if you’re not aligned with them, you see, and interact, with only energy. Aether. Except in these rare places where two hyperplanes intersect.
Tumblr media
(Interplanar Tunnel, Chuck Lukacs)
Basically, for matter/aether to interact with each other significantly, it would have to be aligned in the same way, or be aligned with an aspect. The natural state of Aether would be each ‘particle’ aligned in its own way and so it’s just a huge soup of energy.
The reason matter can’t normally exist for long in the Blind Eternities would be that any object’s matter would misalign with any one plane, and maybe inside itself, and only act as aether for the rest, effectively dissolving into aether.
We know that living things are more subject to the dangers of the Blind Eternities than other objects, that can survive a brief passage. So why would organic matter be particularly fragile to it ? Organic matter, especially living one, has a tendance to move constantly. Blood, sap, cells… That would just speed the process, or even make it near instantaneous.
Tumblr media
(Unravel the Aether, by Jung Park)
Planeswalkers, then, would be able to move in that additional dimension. They bypass these dangers by keeping their body and possession aligned by… Well, yeah, here I don’t have the answer soooo… Magic ?
What anchors multiple particles of Aether together, aligning them and allowing them to interact, could well be what we call « mana ». On the nature of Mana and Aether, I can recommend @vorthosjay’s blurb on his Unified Mana Field Theory, but the reason mana and aether create reality is possibly that ley-lines anchor the aether and life around them in a common alignment, allowing them to interact like matter do. That’s why Planes exist, and you can totally align a being from the Blind Eternities, used to be aligned in different directions, using leylines.
Summoning a creature is pulling it from the Aether. If Aether is just misaligned matter acting as energy, you could align it as you want. You can align Aether in different ways, to get different effects. Spells.
We know that Magic and Dimensions are linked, thanks to the powerstones and notably worn powerstone’s flavor text :
Even a fragment of a powerstone contains within it not just energy, but space—vast dimensions trapped in fragile crystal.
Time is an intersting factor here, because as far as we know, except in very specific areas, time flows roughly the same in the whole multiverse. People, and Planeswalkers, are obviously not capable of modifying their position/orientation on this axis.
The biggest obstacle for this theory is probably the fact that the creative team doesn’t agree with it, the Blind Eternities and the Multiverse being this « unfathomable nothingness with pockets or reality in it ». On top of that, a plethora of authors wrote for Magic, and I doubt they’d have been briefed on the five-dimensional nature of the Multiverse even if it was the intended creation at the beginning.
But five-dimensional space is quite unfathomable for any observer, and these « pockets of reality », the Planes, could well be our hyperplanes, or sections of hyperplanes. Or simply topologic 4-dimensional spheres in a 5-dimensional space (with a different definition of distance that might even not be the classic dimensional distance). Even our math can get far on the « unfathomable » plan.
Tumblr media
(Anchor to Aether, by Zoltan Boros)
Stays the issue of moving through it, or planeswalking. We know that planeswalkers can move through the blind eternities, and can use them to go from a point A to a point B on the same Plane. How do they do that ? If we imagine a point on a straight line, going outside the line won’t reduce the distance between the two points. Quite the opposite. However, in a curved line, you might reduce that distance. You remember what I was saying about topological 4-dimensional spheres four lines ago ? Insert that here, with the classic SF explanation of curved space, except even less helpful because in four dimensions that aren’t time.
Another thing is that the Planeswalkers « align » themselves with a bit of their surrounding, what they wear, what they carry, and probably a small amount of air, and then realigns and moves that through the Blind Eternities, that are for that 4 dimensional being equivalent to energy and not matter. Without matter to create friction, and assuming they move their whole bubble of aligned 4 dimensional energy with them, they could them achieve speeds unheard of if they’re using enough energy.
All of that would allow them to go from a Plane to another, or within (well, at the border) of a Plane very quickly, essentially « planeswalking ».
The Aether trail left behind by planeswalkers would be aligned aether along the way a planeswalker travelled, that will slowly move and realign itself randomly, making a trail one can follow that slowly disappears.
I could probably ramble on details for a while, but that’s the theory, and a few examples, in a nutshell.

How does a jewelry factory?Churinga Jewelry Factory Production ProcessSTEP 1: DESIGNING A 3D JEWELRY MODEL
After the initial idea and/or sketch is developed, it’s time to start work on the digital model. Using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software, the 3d designer will make a digital render of your jewelry.
STEP 2: 3D WAX PRINTING YOUR JEWELRY
In most modern jewelry production, the manufacturer uses a 3d printing machine to print a wax model made out of resin, which usually doesn’t take more than 48 hours.
The Rubber Mold
The original model is encased in plaster-like investment, which is specially created for jewelry making. After the investment sets, the encased wax model is burned away in an oven, leaving a jewelry-shaped void in the hardened investment. That space is filled with silver, forming a slightly smaller duplicate of the original wax design, which is polished to perfection. The silver master model is then packed into a fat sandwich of special mold rubber and squeezed tight under high heat and pressure until it forms a solid block. The rubber forms itself around the master model, creating a perfect three-dimensional impression of the piece of jewelry. The rubber is cut in half to remove the silver master. Then the rubber is put back together and hot wax is injected through a hole in the rubber to fill the ring-shaped space inside, forming a wax reproduction of the master model (but a bit smaller).
The Wax Tree
To finally turn wax into gold, a number of wax models, usually 10 or 20 are placed on a large branching wax tree. Positioning each piece on the tree must be done carefully, thicker pieces will go on the bottom, thinner on the top and the joint where the piece is joined to each branch must be positioned in a thick place in the design, where there is no detail, like the back of a ring. When the tree is complete, the whole wax structure is placed in a flask.
STEP 3: CASTING THE WAX MODEL INTO METAL
The jewelry goes through the casting process. At this stage, your piece starts looking more like the jewelry you might see in a store. The wax is melted away and is replaced with your metal of choice in molten form, usually gold, silver, or platinum. The metal then dries into the shape of your jewelry. This technique is called “lost wax” casting.
STEP 4: THE PRE-POLISH
First, the jewelry has to be removed from the branch, or sprue, that held it to the tree in the mold. It is then is tumbled into smoothness, sometimes sanded, lapped to make edges crisp, and then buffed by hand on a polishing wheel.
STEP 5: BASIC JEWELRY ASSEMBLY
After your jewelry passes through the design and casting stage, the final fabrication can take anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks. At this point, the jeweler refines the main structure of your ring, necklace, or another piece.
STEP 6: THE STONE SETTING PROCESS
For this step, the diamond setter finally adds the diamonds or other gemstones onto your piece. He carefully sets the central stone into the mount. If side stones are involved, the setter needs to hand drill for these before setting. Using a microscope, they then set each separate stone.
STEP 7: POLISHING, FINISHING, AND QUALITY ASSURANCE
In the final stage, a polisher works to make sure the metal is polished to perfection so it’s as shiny as possible. Or it only needs a light final polish to bring out the luster and shine of the gold. This is done by putting a fine red jeweler’s rouge on a soft cotton cloth and buffing the piece by hand, making sure that all the details and highlights shine. Finally, the jewelry is inspected and each detail is analyzed to make sure production was successful.

Kitchen Remodeling Near Me: How to Find the Best Minneapolis Kitchen Remodelers
New Post has been published on https://treasuredspaces.com/kitchen-remodelers/
Kitchen Remodeling Near Me: How to Find the Best Minneapolis Kitchen Remodelers
Tumblr media
There are a lot of things to consider when you begin your search for a company to handle your kitchen remodel. With endless options out there, it may seem pretty daunting to narrow down your list to your ideal companies. We want to help with that!
If you are worried about finding the best remodeler for your new kitchen, we’ve put together a quick guide to help you through the process.
Finding a Reputable, Trustworthy Remodeling Company
When it comes to planning a kitchen remodel, you don’t want to go with just any remodeler or contractor company. You want someone with a lot of experience in that particular area who can deliver amazing results, at a reasonable price to you.
A good company will have a lot of satisfied customers, who then turn into positive reviews and referrals online. A customer who had a great experience may leave their review on their own, or a company may ask them to, but either way, you should look for these testimonials online to get a true idea of what the company has and can do for you. Internet-savvy shoppers can peruse review sites like Google, Yelp, and even Facebook to see what past clients have said. Before you even contact a company, you can get a lot of information regarding their quality, price, and ethics just by reading reviews left by previous customers. Word of mouth can honestly be one of the most helpful tools you can find to choose the best company.
Review and lead generation sites like Houzz and Home Advisor can also list the top-rated companies in your area, as well as pictures, videos, and descriptions of each company. It gives you a nice compiled list, so you don’t have to look too far, but the content may not be as genuine as those customer written testimonials you find on the more popular review sites.
Another great way to utilize word of mouth to find the best company to work with is reaching out to friends and family and asking for recommendations. Even if people haven’t had renovations done themselves, they probably know someone who has and can tell you who the best company to work with is, or who to avoid.
Questions to Ask Your Remodeler
Find a company who is transparent and open with you. A good remodeler should be straight with you, and happy to answer any questions you may have about the process. In fact, they are going to appreciate a prospective client who is active in their search and refuses to cut corners because they are looking for high-quality work. Consider asking some of these questions during your search for the right fit.
Does your company have good insurance that provides adequate coverage, including workman’s comp and liability insurance?
If I hire you, would you be willing to show me copies of these policies and make me a copy for my files?
How long have you been in business? How many years of experience do your employees have?
Do you put everything in writing? Can we sign a contract before any work begins?
Will you give me an itemized list along with your initial estimate?
What is an accurate timeline that I can expect for this project? Will you put that in writing?
Remodelers who are unwilling to talk transparently with you about the process, and not put everything in official documents, may not be a stand-up company to work with. If they put an estimate on the back of a business card – run. If they aren’t taking the proper steps or precautions to give you a well inspected, thorough estimate at the beginning, they are likely to scam you into paying more than you need to in the end.
Getting the Best Quote for Your Budget
When you start the process of requesting quotes from companies, it’s important to get a few bids for comparison. Getting three bids is a good start and is the recommended bare minimum for comparing estimates. Don’t just ask every company you find for a quote, start asking once you’ve narrowed down companies you think you want to end up working with based on other factors.
It’s also a good idea to contact some suppliers and ask them what materials cost. Your contractors should be including the cost of materials in their estimates. Some contractors will try and get away with marking up the cost of materials. If you go in prepared, with knowledge of what the cost they offer you should be, you can make sure you are getting a reasonable price.
Finally, keep in mind that the estimate they give you should be a good reflection of that company. If the quote doesn’t include everything you’ve asked for or includes things you didn’t ask for, that could be a red flag about how that company does business and the ethics of their process.

Inspiration
The piece of music I have chosen for this project is easily accessible to grab the rhythm and tempo. The music I choose is called Feeling Fine which a piece of slow and soft music.
when I heard the piece of music, the first thing came up my mind were natural scenes, animals, and a music box. It gives me a peaceful feeling. It is quite similar to a kind of soundtrack which usually appears in introduction films of natural attractions. Therefore, I tried to search for some wild animals and  scene design about natural illustrations.
I got this cute otter on the internet and incredibly, it acts like a human. This picture is inspired me to create a scene near a river and makes me decide to draw an otter as one of character.
Tumblr media
This beautiful scene design called Crystal is made by 3D illustrator team called Polygon Runway. I have followed their works for several months and they concentrate on creating 3D models in Blender. They are talented to use simple elements to design a scene.
Tumblr media
Another great source of inspiration was, a short animation,,Bear & Bird uses a simple scene to present interaction between bird and bear. Plants, rocks, and animals are surrounded by a lake.
vimeo
The short animation and 3D illustration which have been stated above have a feature in common. That is several uncomplicated elements composing a stage and placing all objects in the centre of the scene. Through this method, I consider that it makes audiences concentrate on actions and information it offers. Therefore, in this project, I attempt to apply this concept to develop my work.
when I attempt to draw a flying bird, I struggled with the motion. I got this bird flying slow motion as referencing video.

It is said that Meganium’s petals can release an aroma that can soothe anyone that comes in contact with it and can calm aggressive feelings, and its breath has the power to revive dead grass and plants. Its powerful and soothing regenerative powers can even come about by being around it, giving those who stand near the impression of being in a clean and lush forest. Meganium tend to be a very docile species and has been portrayed as a peacemaker. Meganium can rarely be found living in grasslands.
———————
I recently rediscovered an old notebook of mine filled with sketches of every Pokemon from the first three generations! The Hoenn drawings are pretty bad, and as I remember drawing them using blurry pictures of the GBA sprites as references to draw them from (as these were from before the official art was revealed), that’s only to be expected. However, the other two gens fared well enough (as I had both official art and tcg art for their references) for me to pick a handful to actually turn into finished art all these years later! So since Gold and Silver (where the heck is Crystal, though?!) are FINALLY being released on the 3DS Virtual Console, I’m going to be finishing up as many Gen II sketches as I can! And with this, the art for the Johto Grass-Type Starter line is complete!   I’m really looking forward to using a Meganium for the first time, when I replay Silver.
