Ever since you saw the grand piano in Vyn’s house, you’ve been fascinated by it. The sleek edges, painted white and always shining— it was a beautiful instrument and truly suited your lover. Despite being built for concerts, the expected sound being loud and rich, every time Vyn played on it, it brought forth the gentlest melodies. 

Maybe it was because of him, fingertips barely touching the keys, hands gliding over the instrument while he gently swayed to the music he played. Half lidded eyes following the notations, filling the empty silence in the house with wonderful tunes. It must be, you tell yourself, the absolute mastery he held over his instrument was astonishing. 

Hours could pass by and you would be never bored, listening and watching Vyn play, completely immersed in his own world. Too rarely it happens, where he would sit down and play in front of you. You yearn for it, to see him like this— content, happy, peaceful. 

So of course you were fascinated by the instrument, the white grand piano in Vyn’s house. An important part in his life and with that, in yours as well. Sometimes you would press some keys as well, your own melodies much simpler than his, but every time you sit down, you feel even more connected to him than usual. And every time you sit down, you’re once again reminded of your thoughts about this instrument.

This is why you don’t hear Vyn entering the room and watching you with a small smile on his lips. You’re completely lost in your own thoughts, gently easing some accords from the piano and stringing them together in a song. 

You almost scream, when he’s suddenly besides you and compliments your skill. With a racing heart you gaze up to him, arms crossed and leaning against the piano. And that knowing smile, having you caught in your ‘act’. He knows of your fascination and he always loves to remind you about it. 

He’s close to teasing you, confident he can make you flush in embarrassment. And he’s right, the piercing gaze of his turning your cheeks red and making your fingers tremble. Vyn notices, of course he does and lowers his head. 

“If you ease not only your fingers but your entire hand, you won’t cramp up so easily,” he murmurs right next to your ear, making you shudder. You know exactly what he wants, and if it were any other day, you would’ve followed his lead easily. Instead you lift your hands from the piano keys and catch his, pulling them downwards and pressing his body even closer towards yours. 

With a coy smile on your lips you turn your head, catch his eyes and slowly ease your fingers across his. “Show me,” you murmur back and lean closer towards his face, so close that you can almost feel his lips on yours. His breath hitches and you can’t help but smirk triumphantly. He hadn’t expected this, you being so bold tonight. 

Placing your lips onto his, latching on them, gasping when he presses closer— he’s at your mercy, something that happens too rarely. You release his hands from your grip, while wiggling on the seat to turn towards him, but it’s still uncomfortable to kiss him with your neck craned. You would’ve stopped, had he not gasped against your lips oh so wonderfully, responding oh so eagerly. 

You endure and almost forget how you’re in an uncomfortable position, lips flush and hands pulling hair and then clothes, tugging at seams— anything to touch the skin beneath. And there is nothing more beautiful than the wrecked man you’re kissing right now, flushing beneath your attention while you devour him. He shudders when his shirt finally falls open, your hands eagerly exploring the exposed skin. And the noises— god, the noises he makes are heavenly and sinful at the same time. 

The sudden sound of wrinkled paper pulls you from your daze, pulling you away from his lips to catch your breath. You glance at the mess he made, throwing the notations that have previously rested on the stand across the piano and floor when he rested a hand on it. 

“What you do to me,” he pants, still out of breath and oh— Vyn has never looked so delicious, so eager, so greedy for more. It makes your mind spin, seeing him so flushed, so affected by you and you can’t help but want for more. 

Mind made up, you rise from your seat and push him against the piano, watching Vyn tense when the instrument fills the room with random notes. It almost hurts in your ears, the noise still ringing but everything fades when you catch his pleading eyes. He wants more and who are you to deny him?

“Let me hear you, Vyn,” you say while towering over him, chest heaving at the sight before you. “Let me hear every noise you make,” you murmur, lips latching on his skin and leaving marks behind. And the sounds that leave his mouth, the gasps, the moans, the whines— they’re the most beautiful thing you’ve heard in a while.

The fact the vbs just surpassed the only reason they became a group for,niigo isnt even half way and idk whats up with WxS, mmj, and l/n

well VBS decided a while ago that RW isn't their main goal, even if it was why they formed their group. since they have bigger goals, it makes sense that we saw them complete their original goal earlier than everyone else. leo/need already completed their goal too, they got signed a year ago.

niigo's stories are much more personal and character driven instead of group driven, but we're getting ready for mizuki to open up about their secret, and the other three are starting to think more about their future now that they're 18, plus Mafuyu and Ena are starting to mend their broken bonds with their fathers. Their stories are likely to come to a close when their emotional states are a bit better, and when they start achieving their goals, but i don't think we'll see them see their goals the whole way through unless the game does some pretty big timeskips through their university years. same applies to wxs we are not seeing that unless we timeskip like 10 years.

and mmj's goals have been pretty much the same the whole way through. their major goal is to do a concert at tokyo dome, which i don't think will be this arc (but Do Not take my word for that i have only read 1.5 MMJ events since 3rd anniversary).

all the group's stories have always moved at different paces from each other aside from when they synced for age up, and it's probably gonna go back to being that way until the next age up. this was just the right time for VBS to achieve their goals, but you'll probably find everyone else with have their arc ender within the next year or so. wxs only has one more theatre group to be mentored by, so that's probably one or two events. mizuki's secret reveal could end up being an arc ender again if they feel like it. we'll have to wait and see.

It's easy to not understand LSKs when you haven't seen all the flagging that they've been doing, especially with how the Lover Era went as well as Folkmore. But once you start to piece all those hints together in a timeline, it paints a pretty clear picture.

August 2019:

August 3rd: Karlie's birthday. Taylor posts the famous Bi Hearts Crispies Treats, that will star in the Lover Lyrics Video later too.

August 8th: Taylor is on the Cover of Vogue.

She is wearing a Cartier Love Ring. Karlie wears one too, she has wore it for a very long time now (years before this article) on her right ring finger.

Right ring finger is used by LGBTQ+ couples for marriage or to indicate that the person is in a serious relationship.

Karlie has been wearing hers a lot more (in almost all her pictures) since summer 2022. (X)

a tale of two (concert) halves... (storytime!)

I've made it clear over the past few updates that my real life struggles have really backed us into a corner. If the first half of 2024 was on hard difficulty, the second half has so far been on brutal. Personal relationships are falling apart, our physical health has been going through hell, and our finances are struggling to keep up with ever increasing debts. As much as I am a man of faith, I do struggle with maintaining such devout trust on the daily, because I am afraid of the worst.

But even during these tough times, it's comforting to know I won't be left for dead, and I can still find enjoyment in them.

Not gonna lie, I thought I would never attend a concert this year. IVE was coming back after a little over a year, but I didn't have money for it (and is something I still struggle to move on from). ITZY was coming back less than eight months when I saw them, but no Lia, and the ticket selling was insanely early (fuck you Live Nation). The only other girl group I think came here was fromis_9, which I still would love to see, but that was for a festival, so the setlist was extremely limited—and it was during finals week, so that was not gonna happen. There's just been an overall downturn of concerts compared to last year, so whether or not this is a good thing, you decide. (Seriously, no aespa, no (G)I-DLE, no NMIXX, etc.)

However—here comes Red Velvet, one of the holy trinity of 3rd gen girl groups (TwicePinkVelvet), celebrating their 10th anniversary with an Asia tour. By some miracle, I got a stimulus check two months ahead of my birthday, and yet it was still a hard decision, because I wasn't sure if other girl groups would also tour near the end of the year. Looking at what's to come for the last quarter of the year, I highly doubt it and 2025 is sure to be stacked, so it all paid off in retrospect.

It was a completely different experience than the first two outings. For one, it was fucking standing floor over seated, so I knew my body would be put through the torture rack. Second was the unpredictability of where I would end up—thankfully it wasn't first come first serve where I would be forced to camp early (which by the way, concert campers are disgusting and should be arrested). Still, my positioning would depend on my queuing number (which in itself was dependent on when you would buy your ticket, and obviously unless you got into the site as soon as it loaded up, the earlier), and while it wasn't completely shit—it still meant that a majority would get their preferred spot over mines.

Cut to the actual concert day and it was a tale of two halves. The first was the pre-concert, which wasn't all bad at the start—but then there was the queuing before entering the venue. I could have easily waited and taken my sweet time exploring and doing other shit, but I was pressured to queue early out of fear of not getting a good spot. I forgot that since it was queuing numbers, they would rearrange the line anyway, so I never really had a chance lmao. I really shot myself in the foot quite literally by adding an extra two hours standing around.

Everyone in VIP was given a bonus member card, and I didn't end up getting my bias. I tried bartering with other fans, but I absolutely failed. To add insult to injury, everyone else were able to trade and/or get theirs, so that fucking sucks.

It was also the first time I was forced to wear some kind of noise control for my ears. Didn't really have earplugs but Airpods were certainly a nice alternative. Fucking hell—this was the loudest of the three crowds I've ever been a part of, and it doesn't help that the audience would screech and shout out of tune. It was so goddamn annoying. Then you get to the ments/speeches, and they would just fucking bark and make monkey noises while the members were talking, and after performances. I counted a total of 12-14 times this happened throughout, and it never got any better. If the members weren't encouraging the audience, I'd probably have socked someone in the nose out of annoyance at some point.

As for the overall concert itself, I had a blast! I'm not that familiar with Red Velvet's colorful discography, but they performed most of their hits and title tracks (ripperoni Russian Roulette and Chill Kill). Not only that, but the set ran for almost 3 hours (2 hours 50 minutes as they did start like 10 minutes past schedule), and the energy persisted all throughout. Wendy was constantly flaunting her vocals, but Joy. Joy was absolutely fucking insane. Also, the fucking Zimzalabim encore is something everyone needs to experience once in their lifetime.

I wish I could say the pain was all worth it—but of course, life being life, it decides to fuck with me one more fucking time with the middle finger. After the show ended, we were all told to stay in our spots for the send-off event as everyone else were escorted out and the raffle winners from lower seating tiers were pulled in. We waited for 40 minutes, and then the members come out. It should be a cool moment! Except they were led by staff straight to the extended stage for a bit and then they'd get off, completely neglecting the sides, where me and a few others were. They would eventually go around the venue, but by the time we realized what has happening, it was too late—we never got to see them up close properly.

I'll be honest, while I don't feel as bothered thinking about it a few days on, when it happened, it almost ruined the entire experience for me. The organizers/staff had misdirected us and didn't organize properly, so some of us got a lesser experience than those who won the raffle, which is worse for us since we paid more. The send-off treatment here was way—way worse than in Bangkok and Jakarta, and it fucking pisses me off. We can't have shit in this country. I don't blame the girls for it; they were just following instructions and they had a flight to catch shortly after (not to mention they were tired as fuck). Still, the fact I paid so much for that underwhelming send-off experience just reinforces my opinion that hi-touches are simply better. At least everyone gets a fair shot, even if it was very brief. You can't win them all, I guess. I also do believe that it was bound to happen, the first two experiences were near-perfect and flawless in execution, so something had to give to bring me back down to earth.

Nevertheless, even if for just a few hours, it's nice to find some comfort and enjoyment despite the world around me crumbling down. To think that they're 10 years on and still as active as their younger contemporaries in K-pop is astounding. I can see why they're among the most beloved girl groups ever; there's only a handful with equal the talent and discography to match. This was also my first outing with a new camera, and when it was hitting, the shots were fucking hitting.

I really wish Bamboleo was part of the set tho.

El nuevo anuncio del Project Sekai

Entonces vi esto en el sitio web de Project Sekai y parecía que estaba provocando algo nuevo. Quería hablar de ello porque las pestañas de la comunidad de YouTube tienen un cierto límite de caracteres.

Se parece a Hatsune Miku pero en una versión diferente. Lo primero que pensé fue que tal vez podría ser un juego derivado. Sin embargo, puede que no sea probable porque ¿por qué harían algo así tan de repente? Tampoco tiene sentido que un juego como este tenga un spin-off cuando todavía hay tantas historias que contar sobre nuestras unidades actuales.

Miré más de cerca a Miku y vi que parecía una Miku diferente, si eso tiene sentido. Entonces pensé en lo que todos los demás están pensando: una nueva unidad. Dijeron que querían agregar una nueva unidad en algún momento, sin embargo, querían centrarse en las historias de sus personajes actuales.

Una última cosa, estas sombras. No puedo decir del todo qué o quiénes son, pero siento que esto respalda mi teoría de que es una unidad nueva. Estas sombras podrían ser las sombras de nuestros nuevos personajes. ¿Quién sabe?

Dijeron que iban a anunciar de qué se trata en la próxima transmisión. Sin embargo, ¿no notas nada diferente? Generalmente lo tienen con 4 actores de voz en lugar de 3. Hubo una vez, pero fue porque Akina (la actriz de voz de Kohane) estaba enferma. Podrían estar anunciando un nuevo actor de doblaje en directo. O eso o no pudieron conseguir a nadie más en el estudio ese día.

Then I saw this on the Project Sekai website and it looked like it was teasing something new. I wanted to talk about it because YouTube community tabs have a certain character limit.

It looks like Hatsune Miku but in a different version. My first thought was that maybe it could be a spin-off game. However, that might not be likely because why would they do something like that so suddenly? It also makes no sense for a game like this to have a spin-off when there are still so many stories to tell about our current units.

I looked closer at Miku and saw that she looked like a different Miku, if that makes sense. Then I thought about what everyone else is thinking: a new unit. They said they wanted to add a new unit at some point, however, they wanted to focus on their current characters' stories.

Question: Will there be any new units added to the game on the 3rd anniversary? Answer: There won't be any. However, they do believe that they will have to add new units at some point in the future. Right now, there are still a lot of stories they would like to write with the current 5 units.

In the background, Hatsune Miku was playing live, so my third thought was that they were doing concerts all over the world. Like Miku Expo or something. Most, if not all, of their official concerts have been in Japan only, so it would make sense to have a concert in the US or South Korea, which also have a large number of Project Sekai fans.

I'd also like to mention that text here, which says "私の声は届かない" or a rough translation, "My voice can't be heard." Now, I don't know what I could make of this, but it supports my theory of the new unit. Maybe another group that's similar to Nightcord or something.

One last thing, these shadows. I can't quite say what or who they are, but I feel like this supports my theory that it's a new unit. These shadows could be the shadows of our new characters. Who knows?

They said they were going to announce what it was about on the next broadcast. Don't you notice anything different though? They usually have it with 4 voice actors instead of 3. There was one time, but it was because Akina (Kohane's voice actress) was sick. They could be announcing a new voice actor live. Either that or they couldn't get anyone else in the studio that day.
