I used to do Belegarth! Unfortunately there's not a league anywhere near me, as far as I know, and I don't think I'd have the time to keep up with it these days. It is a riot though!

#back in the days when i was all knee high combat boots and purple hair #ahhh the glory days of belegarth #actually still probably have some tiny glass particles embedded in my face from an unwise pickup bout that I was not wearing contacts for #I was going low under my opponents shield at the same time he was trying to go over mine #and instead he hit me full force in the face and shattered my glasses entirely #one of the lenses was literally twenty feet away #still a good bout tho #though after that i had to wear contacts every day for a couple months bc I didnt have time to go get my glasses fixed #and it turns out that if you do that #and you have them in 20 hours a day #beccause you only sleep 4 hours a night #your eyes will get very red and dry #not ideal

so confession I actually was paying for tumblr ad free this whole time (bought it when it came out during the tumblr-might-shut-down scare of the week and never cared enough to cancel it) and now that they decided to charge twice as much I did cancel it but like. now I get a free blazed post every month until march. maybe I should blaze some of my art?? I stopped caring much about notes years ago and I'm not looking for commissions or anything, but if it's free, why not?

#healing journey is going well #I wouldn't have believed me 4 months ago that I would be okay #I wished the pain would go away really quickly and was sad that it didnt #but in the end... like 4-6ish months and everything is fine (for the most part)#sure. theres a thought here and there but it has no emotion attached to it at all...#I mean that is rather quick healing I would suppose #4-6 months does sound long but it's not THAT long when you think about it #anywho... next is deleting pictures... which is harder cause I'll have to look at them to delete them #and like... I dont wanna do that #oh... and then deleting “the evidence” aka the whole chat i've saved #(idk for some reason my brain thought it needed evidence to show that someone could like-like me)#and I still find it hard to finally do it (thats why I won't do it now but some time later... point is that I have to do it)#oh well #I can start small and just delete the WhatsApp chat... will do that now #yeah. that sounds like a plan... deleting the chat and doing the pictures/other chat later #op dasloddl

🫀 - What motivates you to write most?

Good question in an all time motivation low. I really, really want a complete story, and that it's the only way the story will ever exist. I can daydream my way through 1/3 of a story with a couple of random scenes, but I can never keep my 3 brain cells together long enough to finish the plot, let alone remember it later.

Once it's on paper, it's done. It's never going anywhere (backups hurray.)

🏖 - Do you write on vacation?

I don't really go on vacation 😅 So when I take time off, it usually is at least partially so I can write. Never end up doing as much as I hope :/

why do americans always talk about electoral politics like election day is literally tomorrow. they do this even if someone JUST got elected and therefore they wont even be able to vote anyone in and out for another 4 years. do yall ever notice how nobody else ever punctuates their regional politics posts with 'and remember to vote' unless the post started with the sentence 'election day is coming up in [location]' (and "coming up" is like "within the next two months" not "sometime in the next few years"). are you like not allowed to talk about politics without talking about voting. is there ever any time where you can respond to anything a political leader does using any method other than voting in the next election (which is sometimes several years away and therefore doesn't actually help current and ongoing problems)???? its like as soon as the election is over the campaign for the next one starts. genuinely how do you all live like that. isnt there laws preventing candidates and donors from campaigning too far in advance of an election?? and if there isnt. well that would explain some things tbh

the funniest moment I ever had in a trust was in the hydaelyn fight when I got a stack marker and all the scions came running over to me and then. then. at the very last second every single one of them ran out from under the stack to group in the middle (AI anticipating the next attack I presume) and the stack went off .0001 seconds after they ABANDONED me before I could catch up and the wol's mom resundered the shit out of my poor lizard boy. the sheer and utter betrayal of that moment. exquisite. hydaelyn was like yeah you guys should probably just get on the moon ship and gtfo

im so annoyed with everything today, i think i need some tasty food and a million hours of sleep and then I'll be back to normal

#the teacher at the first class today was so dibsjdhdhdhdhsgs 😫#like she was teaching us things that are like unrelated to the class that shes teaching so idek why she was teaching it #but also its things that we have been learning since the 1st semester and we've done them in at least 10 classes and she was acting like #this was the 1st time we were hearing about it #like oh yeah we're on the 7th semester of studying nutrition but no one bothered to tell us how many calories are in a gram of fat #and she gave us homework 'to see if we know this' like #oh yes i can make a meal plan for a child with crohns or cystic fibrosis or celiac disease or everything else we've done this semester and #all the other semesters but i guess i cant tell you what micronutrients are in this one breakfast meal #like fuck off and stick to what you're supposed to be teaching #anyway i know im getting more annoyed than i should but she was just even more annoying than usual today #like she interrupted the lesson every 5 minutes to yell at someome to be quiet i wasnt even aware there were people talking until she yelled #anyway #also my new earphones aren't working well idk why ive definitely not been mistreating them that much for them to break in less than a month #like i had my old pair for at least 4 years until the broke and i dont think the wire got cut in them like the sound was coming out weird #but there was sound coming out. in the new ones you need to hold them in a very specific angle for sound to come out #and like im careful with how i put them away so what is up with them?#my theory is that they make wired earphones shitty on purpose so that you will spend a lot of money and buy wireless #also we had said from Tuesday that we would hang out with my friends today but i guess they forgot or idk and they made other plans #(to go home and sleep) and during the weekend the one friend wont be here and next week my family will be here so we probably wont hang out #again until next year and we have exams almost immediately so we wont be hanging out much then either #also my period is supposed to come soon and i hope that it will either come today or it will wait until after Christmas #ideally it will never come ever again but we cant always get what we want #anyway im gonna go eat the rest of my μεσογειακό and go take a nap #jo says stuff #personal ramblings

thats a good question. it's a secret for like, 2 years (the reason for henri keeping this a secret is a long story LOL) but henry eventually does find out and he thinks its like the most awesome thing ever. because like, henry likes the idea of animals but he is very nervous all the time and doesnt know how to interact with them and he worries that they wont understand him. which is normally true (sad) but henricus going cat mode means that he can get used to the idea of a cat in his house. and henricus trusts henry a lot so he will tenatively accept pets.

#also dumb semi-relevant magic lore tidbit is that you cant normally cast any magic while you sleep so spell effects wear off when asleep.#so if i ever draw henricus sleeping as a cat that is not true he simply has his eyes closed and he is chilling. but he cant sleep as a cat.#the only exception to the sleep rule is henricus's insane self-inflicted curse thing hes got goin on. which sounds really awesome but it #turns out that this rule naturally exists for a reason. because your body needs to rest and recover after using magic.#my poor sap has magic-induced chronic fatigue on top of his regular chronic fatigue. sad well he'll be okay i promise #oh yeah 1 more thing. basic timeline is like. henri's childhood -> runs away at 17 and runs into henry -> lives with this guy till hes 20 #-> [other lore i have failed to elaborate on. ~ 6 months] -> [undeveloped bit: 3-4 months] -> [end of story + slight timeskip]#at least. thats what it is if i dont change it again anyway LOL #so like uh henri is with henry for 3 almost 4 years and theyre close nearly the whole time but henri only starts rlly talking during that #last year. it takes that guy so so long to open up but henry is so patient.#ANYWAY. hi lol thank u for the ask yayyyy #anis gaymer moments #oc tag
