He is getting more white spots. Super handsome.

The owner just /gave/ me this horse. He said he likes you more than he ever liked me... Told me if I sold him the profit would be all mine.

My neighbor is a wonderful human that I enjoy working for. This is a kind gift. Booners bloodlines are well beyond anything I could afford. I need to decide what I could do. Tempted to sell him and pick up a papered filly Clydesdale or Fjord.

But... also love this guy and like to keep him around.

So I’m at bowling the other night and a team maté brought two of his kids, a baby and a 4 year old boy. Now I chatted with the 4 year old for a bit and he shows me a couple of toys he brought. Fast forward to the end of the night. I say give me a high five 🖐️ and have a good night. Which he did. I turned around to pack my stuff and he came back to me. I asked what’s up? He says hug? I of course said sure and he gave me the sweetest hug. I tell ya it made it made my night.

A little yee-haw in the canter, but it was small and ended very quickly. Took three whole steps backing up under saddle!!! A huge wow there. That has been hard for him to figure out.

Parent tot class for 2-4 year olds

I teach this class very similar to a private lesson progression.If kids are coming from my parent tot class for 2 and under, they will already know crab walking, climbing out of the pool, backfloat kicking to the wall and face in bubbles. We are always working toward independent swimming. When we start it is always at the stairs going down holding the wall. Then crab walking as far as they can go…
