Let me take a moment to pour a few drinks out for these shows being cancelled from the CW network THIS YEAR ALONE that didn’t deserve to be lost in their pursue of trimming their network after being sold off and bought by another company.. here’s to these shows. Which shows will you miss?

i have absolutely no evidence to back this up but to me it seems the cw has cancelled shows with lgbt characters/storylines that are quite important to lgbt+ community

legends of tomorrow getting cancelled without the promise of even a movie to deal with that cliffhanger sucks

roswell getting cancelled when they've apparently got a partial season in the can is a bummer

naomi getting cancelled after a strong first season genuinely blows

batwoman getting cancelled right after ryan and sophie finally got together is infuriating

but 4400 getting cancelled, meaning miss claudette, the love of my LIFE, is no more, that is devastating

Nexstar/Discovery, it's giving conservative....

Cause they really were not interested in CW's (well Paramount and Warner's) queer, poc or female-fronted series at all.

They only kept the WarnerMedia/Discovery/DC shows that they think appeal to dudebros and people over 30 and likewise with the Paramount dramas. They kept All American and Kung Fu because they're streaming successes and they literally needed SOMETHING that wasn't white and male-led after all this.

It feels like someone at the top in this merger literally said "Listen, none of that woke shit, okay?"
