i like to poke fun at the tendency of Certain anime fans to vastly overestimate how much time/effort most people are willing to put into a show (i.e. "it gets good around episode 100" or "the first few seasons are filler"), but i'm a massive comics buff so it's the most ironic thing in the world for me to be doing that. if someone asked me how they should start reading Archie Sonic or 616 Spider-Man (my two favorite ongoing comics of all time) i'd literally either pull up an annotated list of EXACTLY what issues of all the sister books and miniseries' to read in EXACTLY what order, or say "yeah so start with issue 1 in 1965 and just keep going in a straight line until like 1985 and then just cycle between the three main books until you stop enjoying it"

[From Spider-Man: Made Men]
Maybe I'm over excited now but this-right-here is top notch writing to me. 'Cus it's just so real and raw. I think the Daily Bugle side of Spider-Man stories deserves more love. When will we get an adaptation that really cares about the Daily Bugle people instead of just making JJJ a caricature figure? When?
