So they finally hooked up, I feel indifferent, but I'm absolutely devastated about Hen, I don't know how they'll get through that.

In Another Life (611) referenced Full Moon (107) by featuring the yoga moms in labor during that pivotal scene where buck realizes that he’s enough just as he is. I’m totally rapt by the 107 reference within 611 because that ep also included the following gems:

A young gay couple who knew each other well and were obviously in love

The man who made the 911 call was named Connor 👀

Connor and buck discussed body fat percentages while bobby conducted the exam. Remember buck mentioned his low body fat percentage at length in 201 too…and then immediately got jealous of eddie “8-pack” diaz while whatta man played over eddie putting his shirt on in slow mo. epic.

Connor compares the cramps from the tapeworm to giving birth which was an interesting choice since we had the yoga moms giving birth earlier in the ep

Buck extracted the tapeworm from Connor in the ambulance while talking about his South American summer of bartending. The bar was at a surf beach. We learned in buck begins that buck met former roommate Connor at that beach bar. Now buck is that connor’s sperm donor and he’s showing up for beers and brownies at buck’s loft

There are scattered scenes/references to the beach in the ep. Buck’s enjoyment of beaches/surfing came up in this ep as well as buck begins and the card chris gave him in the s3 tsunami arc

The opening and closing scenes are at the beach/water. Closing Narration: “People who are drawn together don’t have the protection of the laws of gravity to keep them apart. The consequences don’t matter when you’re drawn to one another. All that matters is the power of that touch. Skin to skin.” This seems relevant to 611 bc gravity/physics kept eddie from pulling buck up into his arms so he had to lower him down to the rest of the 118 BUT it was eddie’s hands providing the final round of chest compressions that brought buck’s heart into v-tach and then back into normal rhythm before the handoff to the hospital staff. Gravity kept them apart for a bit but touch brought them back together and literally brought buck back to life 🥹

Uh. Yeah.

Watching 9-1-1 still.

I’m not trying to be a hater or anything but the Buck and Abby relationship is just giving me Stancy vibes from Stranger Things.

All I’m seeing is how Buck flirts when he’s really into someone (like how Steve was so dorky but charming with Nancy) and i’m definitely having Buck and Eddie brainworms instead of Buck and Abby (kinda like how the Stancy scenes now give me Steddie brainworms). I love a suave seeming bi king that gets all dorky when he REALLY likes someone.

And for both Steve and Buck this relationship is their first serious one that makes them rethink their prior behaviour pattern.
