we just played a session of our campaign which was like the first HUGE arc finale, and I can only summarise it by saying that nemja's evil ex survived being barbequed by the most powerful magic source in the world because we teleported him away with us, 3 characters got powers / memories back that they didn't have access to since the start of the campaign and nemja's kids (yeah he stole some kids) very likely died a really horrible and cruel and undeserving death and none of these things are on the top 10 of Insane Things That Happened This Session

I feel like there's so much potential for a Mikey and Shredder dynamic. Like, Leo and Raph have had so many parallels to the Shredder, but I wish Mikey had some too (I don't remember if Donnie ever had any, but he also should!!! They could be so interesting!!!!). Reading the Last Ronin again, I kept seeing bits of parallels with Shredder (The whole "wanting to get vengeance on someone by killing their children, even if said children don't know who you even are" thing and Mikey quite literally only being alive as long as he did so he could kill Hiroto feels so very Shredder-like to me). I can't tell if I'm just connecting random dots, but like!!! IT'S THERE!!! THERE'S POTENTIAL THERE

trough iterations i think the only two turtle brothers who have showed a lot of similarities with the shredder are both Leonardo and Raphael, tho i think its more obvious in 2003 (Raphael is quite literally terrified of ending up as the shredder) and 2012 (leo and raph and quite literally a parallel of younger yoshi and saki) but we have never truly seen any kid of parallelisms like that with mikey! (i cannot remember any with donnie mb)

the only one i can think of is how we were going to get mikey joining the foot in the 2007 movie sequel
