How to Repost on TikTok: Everything You Need to Know on Reposting
Tumblr media
If you’ve been looking for an all-in-one guide for how to repost on TikTok, disabling the feature or ensuring your audience knows how to repost your TikTok videos, you’ve come to the right place.
TikTok is an incredible tool for businesses to utilize, and using the TikTok reposting feature makes it doubly powerful as a helpful community management tool and to spread greater awareness.
It’s also just fun for those of us who love a particular TikTok video and want OUR followers to see it. AmIRight?
In addition to learning how to repost on TikTok, we’ll do a little deep dive on TikTok frequently asked questions, whether or not you can see who reposted your TikToks, what reposting on TikTok actually means and even how reposting on TikTok works!
Ready to get started? Let’s dive in. 😎
How to Repost on TikTok: What Does Repost Mean on TikTok?
Reposting on TikTok is much like “sharing” a post on Facebook or LinkedIn. When you  repost on TikTok, you’re taking someone else’s content, whether that be content posted by an individual or by a brand, and delivering it directly to your followers. This allows you to expand your target audience or raise awareness about other facets of your brand, other divisions within your company, issues you find important and more.
As an example: our Sociallyin TikTok account might reshare these incredible, thumb-stopping content produced by our Sociallyin STUDIOS TikTok account. But what would be the goal for us reposting Sociallyin STUDIOS TikTok content on our main account like that?
The answer is to raise awareness about the wonderful work our creative team is doing on a daily basis to provide our clients with the best of the best in terms of social media content, dedicated photography and more.
Tumblr media
The History, The Why and The Wow of TikTok Reposting
The TikTok repost feature hasn’t always been a thing for TikTok. In fact, it’s a relatively new feature, and one we’ve been working hard to make the most of since it’s evolution.
Originally, the repost on TikTok feature was just a test. Some of you might’ve seen it grace your feeds as early as the tail end of 2021, but many have only seen it roll out full-time in the last six months–something that has for sure made it a particular “hot topic” in social media for 2022.
Did you know that there are whole accounts dedicated to reposting TikTok videos? They don’t even need content of their own-they have the spotlight by re-purposing other creators content! Pretty neat, when you think about it. However, it makes us wonder how TikTok will keep creators from teaming up to repost and create the re-vine for re-vine crisis that took place on the RIP Vine platform over a decade ago. AKA where creators team up and exchange shares/comments/engagements to expand their reach and game the algorithm. Crazy, right?
How to Repost on TikTok: Step-by-Step Instructions
Tumblr media
Now it’s time for the magic of the step-by-step instructions that show us HOW to repost on TikTok. Let’s hit it!
Step #1: Launch TikTok App
Tumblr media

Step #4: Find the Repost Button On TikTok
Like in the image above, you’ll need to locate the repost button in the top left-hand corner of the “sharing” panel. It’s generally located in front of a list of the people you can send the video to on TikTok.
Step #5: Click and You’re Done!
That’s it! You’ve officially done a repost on TikTok for the very first time! Congrats, especially if you're just starting to make TikTok part of your overall strategy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Now we’ve done the hard part-going over the why, the where and the how. But perhaps you still have some unanswered questions. We don’t want to leave you hanging, so let’s hit the most frequently asked questions in regards to how to repost on TikTok!
What Does Repost Do on TikTok?
Repost on TikTok means you’re sharing content to your followers and friends “For You” page. When you repost on TikTok, it does not show up on your profile.
Can I See Who Shared My TikTok?
Unfortunately, there is no option for this and you cannot see specifically which TikTok users reposted your TikTok. You can, however, see how well a particular video is performing.
How Do I View My Repost on TikTok?
While there’s not currently a way to go back and pull up your old reposts, there’s a trick you can start implementing to help you keep track. Here’s how it works: each time you repost a video, bookmark it! Bookmarking it will make it easy to revisit all of your reposts whenever you need and to keep track of them for data collection if and when necessary.
How Do I UnRepost a TikTok Video?
Change your mind about that repost? No problem! The undo repost features in TikTok are literally in front of you now. Easily undo a repost after “reposting” by clicking the share button again and then clicking “remove repost” where it previously said “repost”!
How to Repost on TikTok: Some Closing Comments

Manage apps on a samsung phone

#Manage apps on a samsung phone android
#Manage apps on a samsung phone password
#Manage apps on a samsung phone download
Surprisingly, the sign-out button appears to be from Samsung’s smartphones.
#Manage apps on a samsung phone android
Remove Samsung Account From Your Android PhonesĮarlier generation of Android-based Samsung carried an option to remove Samsung account. To uninstall the app completely, hold the icon, move it to uninstall (Remove) area at the top of the screen.Let’s begin. However, remember that this method only unlinks the account. Repeat that process for any account you want to remove from your phone. If you want to get rid of an account completely, you can do that in the Accounts menu. Then, in the drop-down menu, select Remove account, confirm it’s what you actually want to do it, and it’ll be instantly wiped away from your phone. You can still use the menu or Home screen to remove any dormant or compromised accounts, for example If you wanted to delete an account from your phone, you just tap the app icon, select the account you want to remove (if more than one is linked), press the menu button in the top right corner.
#Manage apps on a samsung phone password
You’ll have to visit the individual apps to do things like change your password or turn on 2-factor authentication. You can also opt to turn off auto-sync completely by tapping the three dots in the top-right corner unchecking the Auto-sync. Most provide a simple on/off switch, but some offer a permission controller, which allows you to change the UI, Logic, and for a specific role purpose within the app. Every app has its own sync settings, so you’ll be able to manage any that may be draining the battery. You can adjust the sync settings for individual apps or turn it off completely in the Account tab.Īlong with adding accounts, you can also manage how much data each is using in the background. When you return to the Accounts page, all the accounts will be added to the active list.
#Manage apps on a samsung phone download
Here you manage, update, offers, and use to download all apps. The button, which takes you to the Play Store account page, also manages your Google account. Select one of the apps in the list, then you’ll be taken to the respective login page where you can login with your new username. Tap it, and you’ll get a list of all the apps on your phone that require an account, so you can link a new one or add another to Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, etc. These two screens might look the same, but the Add Account page also includes any apps that haven’t been linked to an account yet.Īt the bottom of the list you’ll find an Add account button, which does exactly what you’d expect it to do. For instance, if you use Newton Mail or Gmail to manage your iCloud storage, they will show separately. All of your accounts will be collected under the tab, but any other email addresses you use will be tied to the appropriate client. Once you open the tab, you’ll instantly be met with an alphabetical list of any apps on your phone that have active accounts tied to them. Accounts keeps a running list of the social media, storage, and email accounts you have on your phone, and gives you the power to delete them, and control their background activities. This is separate from the tab, where you’ll find a lot of preferences related to how your account operates on your device. Under the Personal tab in Settings, you’ll find an option for Accounts. The Accounts tab in Settings holds the keys to all of the online accounts on your phone. Whether you want to add, remove, or tweak one of your accounts, Android has built a way to do it right inside the Settings app. The longer you have your phone, the more they can pile up before long, your app drawer is filled with all sorts of services that may or may not be tied to an active account.īut you don’t have to open each app to manage them. Everyone who owns an Android phone has an account, but there are lots of other apps on our phones that all require their own login credentials.

******************************
Being from the 1940’s, Bucky didn’t have much education in the world of smartphones and social media. When he came out of cryo in Wakanda, Shuri wasted no time showing him the ways of the iPhone. Honestly, he was stunned because there were so many things you could do with it. So much information was available at the touch of his fingers.
Shuri taught him the ins and outs of the phone. He had gotten pretty good at it, if he did say so himself. She had just begun to teach Bucky about social media when Steve pulled him back to the Big Apple. When he returned to New York, he was able to easily contact Steve, who was not as proficient as Bucky was. So when he met the fantastical group of four friends, they began to teach him. This was one of those things that they were incredibly excited to teach Bucky about.
“So you don’t have an account on anything?” Freddie held his hand out for Bucky’s phone.
“No, I have one on something. I think Instant Graham? My friend set it up for me, but she never taught me how to use it.” Freddie smiled and shook his head, dark curls bouncing back and forth.
“It’s Instagram, bubs and that’s a good jumping off point.” He opened the black iPhone and swiped through the pages on the homescreen. Coming across the sunset colored icon, he hovered his finger over it. The screen changed, opening to a white screen with the words, WELCOME to INSTAGRAM, whitewolf. Bucky smiled at the name displayed and Freddie scrunched his brows.
“What is a White Wolf?”
“I’m the White Wolf. It’s Wakandan. We can change it if we need to.” Freddie looked over at Bucky and saw the happiness on his face at the name.
“No, it’s good we can leave it.” He clicked on the profile button in the bottom right corner of the screen. “Okay, so this is your personal profile.” In the top left corner whitewolf was written with a little arrow next to it facing downward. Freddie opened the edit profile section.
“Do you have a favorite picture of yourself? You have to set a profile picture so people know that it’s you.” Bucky nodded in understanding, and then took his phone back to scroll through his pictures. He didn’t have many, just the ones that he took recently. There was hardly any of just him, but he eventually found one he deemed good enough.
“Alright, now what do you want to put in your bio?” Shrugging his shoulders, Bucky leaned back into Cassie’s plush couch.
“What does yours say?” Freddie pulled his own phone out of his pocket. The pale lilac color seemed to shine through the clear case that it wore. Opening his own Instagram, Freddie leaned the phone towards Bucky.
|| he/they || activist || va te faire voir ||
“What does ‘he slash they’ mean?”
“Oh, those are my pronouns.” Freddie received a head tilt from Bucky, so he decided to elaborate. “So, I identify as a non-binary who is comfortable with you using he/him pronouns or they/them pronouns. If you’re talking about me to someone else, you can say ‘he is at the store,’ or ‘they are at the store.’” Bucky nodded, still a bit confused on the subject.
“When do you use each one? Like is there a certain time that you say he and him and another time for they and them?” Bucky was trying to get some clarification on the topic.
“Not necessarily. Usually, when you’re first talking to someone, it’s common practice nowadays to use they/them pronouns so as to not misgender anyone. I know it probably sounds a bit excessive and a small bit over sensitive to you, but to a queer or non-binary person it makes a whole hell of a lot of difference when someone tries to be inclusive.”
“Okay, so like if I just meet someone on the street, I should use the they/them pronouns until told otherwise?”
“Yeah, absolutely. Do you want to include your pronouns in your bio?” Bucky smiled and nodded, happy with himself that he was able to understand that so well.
“So, what does it mean to be non-binary and still use the he/him pronouns? Don’t those two contradict each other?”
“Not really. Gender is a spectrum, as is sexuality, but for someone to identify as non-binary and use he/they pronouns, means that I feel that not everything about manhood accurately describes my truth. On that same hand, I still do identify as a male.”
“Right, right.” Throughout Freddie’s lesson about gender identity, he was able to finish Bucky’s profile and begin to follow the three girls. After clicking the blue follow button on all three of the girls profiles, the group chat between them started blowing up, that was a new phrase Bucky learned last week.
Evie: um, i just got the weirdest insta notif
Penny: me too???
Cassie: I did too.
Cassie: Wait, who is Bucky with right now?
Evie: DANG IT FREDERICK I WANTED TO HELP HIM SET IT UP
Bucky: My name isn’t Frederick, Evie
Incoming Call from Evie
“What do you want, spaz?” Freddie answered on speakerphone. An indignant scoff  came from the other end.
“I thought we were all going to help him with that, Frederick.”
“Um, I don’t remember us talking about that.” He laughed as the door to Cassie’s apartment opened, allowing Penny to walk in and smile at the two men on the couch. “Also, when were we going to have time to do that with you being at school and all?”
“We were going to wait until the weekend!”
“Eves, you’ve been saying that for the past like three weeks.”
“Oh my gosh, fine.” Her end of the phone got real quiet, “I’ll be home in like ten minutes. I call dibs on helping him set up a TikTok.” Three beeps signalled to the room that Evie had hung up the phone. Bucky turned to Penny and began to ask about her day.
“Ya know, the usual. Rude customers, bratty co-workers, life’s a dream at the bank.” She slipped out of her nude heels and made her way to the sofa. “What have you boys been up to?”
“We have been setting Buck up with some social media and learning about gender identity and respecting pronouns.” Freddie said proudly as he handed Bucky his phone back.
“Sick! Which ones did you do?”
“All the classics, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook just for PR though because hardly anyone uses it anymore.”
“Right, and can’t do TikTok until Evie gets here. Um, did you set up a Spotify for him?” Bucky recognized the name and the memories of Shuri helping him floated in his head.
“Oh, I have one of those. That was actually the first thing that Shuri helped me set up whenever I got this thing.” He opened the app quickly to prove what he was saying. Penny smiled and gave a small thumbs up. “I do have one question.” The two of them gave Bucky their undivided attention. “What is a TikTok?”
“Right, so it’s just short videos. It’s really pretty cool and a really good way to waste time.” Freddie answered while pulling up his own page on the app.
“Yeah, and the thing that shows you videos is curated to your tastes because it’s based on your likes and people you follow.”
“I’m almost positive that Evie is going to teach you a dance and do a TikTok with you, if you agree to it.” Penny laughed at the thought of Bucky doing one of the dances that she saw on her For You page. The door to the apartment swung open a second time, revealing a winded Evie.
She dropped her school bag on the floor, hunching over while gripping the side of the granite countertop. Evie held a finger up and the group on the couch waited for her to speak.
“I ran--” deep inhale, “I ran from the subway.” Another deep breath as she lifted her upper half, stretching out her back with her hands on the back of her hips. “You haven’t done TikTok yet right?”
“No, your Highness, we haven’t done TikTok.” She smiled big and then plopped herself on Bucky’s left side. She thrust her hand toward him, wiggling her fingers. Bucky cautiously placed his phone in the center of her palm.
“This is going to be good. Okay so since your name on Instagram is whitewolf, we can’t use that for TikTok. It’s gotta be something snappy.”
“I don’t know, I think you can use the same one for both, Eve.” Penny remarked as Evie downloaded TikTok onto Bucky’s phone.
“Well, of course you can, but we’re not going to.” She giggled as the app opened. She looked over at Bucky with wrinkled brows. “Do you have any nicknames?”
“Um, Bucky is my nickname.” He said in a duh tone.
“Well, obviously, but do you have any other ones? Like, what do your friends call you?”
“Bucky or Buck, I don’t really have nicknames.” Evie groaned and threw her head back.
“Okay, well let’s think. You’re a Sergeant. Your real name is James Buchanan Barnes. Superhero name is Winter Soldier or White Wolf. You have a metal arm.”
“You’re literally just stating facts, Evie.” Freddie said from the other side of Bucky, who was nodding along in confirmation to Evie’s statements.
“I know! I’m processing. What about vibraniumjames?”
“That’s disgusting.” “Mm, yeah that’s a no from me.” Penny and Freddie talked at the same time.
“metallicsergeant? jamesbby? Any of those tickle our fancy?”
“The first one isn’t terrible, but it’s not great. Why don’t you just use whitewolf like his Instagram? Or you could do iambuckybarnes.”
“Yeah, I’m with Freddie. I like whitewolf or iambuckybarnes, it’s simple. And I am the White Wolf, so yeah.” Bucky said to a disgruntled Evie.
“Oh my gosh, fine. We can always change it later, but this is fine for now.” She set up his profile, making it match the other ones that Freddie had made. Once she was finished with her work, she turned to Bucky and smiled big again. “Now, I can teach you a dance and if you’re cool with it we can post it on your profile.” Bucky shook his head and pulled himself off of the comfy couch beneath him.
“If we’re going to do this, we need to do it right, so don’t hold back on me.” He smiled as Evie squealed in excitement.
“You know, my school friends were just dying to see the day that you got social media.” This statement confused Bucky.
“And why would that be?” Evie laughed as she scrolled through her TikTok feed, searching for the right dance to do with Bucky.
“Well, for one, they think you’re hot and they’re thirsty hoes.” She clicked on the original dance video, showing the screen to Bucky. “And, for two, they love you. Everyone does.” Bucky shook his head at that. He did too many bad things for everyone to love him.
“Hey, remember what we talked about?” Penny said from across the room. “We don’t downgrade our progress. Most of the general public is more forgiving than we give them credit for.” Bucky nodded then focused his attention on the video.
“This is Cardi B’s song Up. People on TikTok have made a challenge of doing this dance to the song. I think it originated with a girl named Mya Nicole. Anyway! We’re going to do this one, if you’re up for it.” Bucky looked at Evie with one brow quirked. There was so much shaking in this. Nonetheless, he shrugged his shoulders., it clearly was making Evie happy so he wasn’t going to take that away.
“Sickening! Okay, let’s start learning it.” It took a good hour and a half to help Bucky move his body in the way that the dance required. By the time they were ready to start filming the actual video, Cassie had walked in.
“What is happening here?” A large smile spread across her face as she watched Bucky and Evie practice one last time. A breathless Evie turned to Cassie.
“Bucky agreed to do the Cardi B Up dance with me.” She then turned to Bucky, “You ready to do this for real?” The tall man beside her shook his head while laughing.
“Yeah, let’s do it.” From the safety of the couch, Freddie, Penny and Cassie were watching the scene before them unfold. Both Bucky and Evie jumped into frame, with their legs spread wide. Throwing their fists in front of them and then behind their legs in time with the music. Bringing their hands above their head to clap and then jumping again, throwing just one hand up at a time.
Shifting to the side, the pair brought the leg closest to the camera up to their waist while hitting it back down with their fist. They both remained facing sideways as they shook the leg they just hit and ran their hands down their torso. The pair did another vertical jump, bringing their knees up to their fists. Once their feet hit the floor, they folded at the waist, slamming their palms flat on the ground.
Smiles were plastered on both their faces as they finished out the dance, knees bent, bouncing their legs back and forth while tossing their hands above their heads. Loud laughter rang out from the three friends in the living room as Bucky and Evie dropped to their butts. The video ended with Bucky and Evie yelling at the other three in the room.
“You’re definitely going to go viral with that one, Buck!”
“Like an infection?” He asked with wide eyes of concern, more peels of laughter rang out.
“No, like famous, lots of people are going to see it.” That relieved and scared Bucky at the same time. He wasn’t quite sure how he felt about it, but he knows that his friends wouldn’t steer him wrong.
“Now we can caption it something cute!” Evie breathed out as she leaned over the couch next to Cassie, who was now curled up beneath a fluffy white blanket.
“Don’t forget to tag the original creator, I hate it when people don’t do that.”
The video was posted with the caption,
iambuckybarnes: am i doing the tiktok right realpokemonevie? dance cr: theemyanicole
And it wasn’t long after posting that Bucky got a call from Steve that he needed to come into the tower.

Nemesis - Choose Your Own Whump 2
With A receiving the most votes on my last post, for this adventure we are going with a drugged Villain whumpee. Sorry about the generic name for this one, I really couldn’t think of anything else ^^
I hope you enjoy, and thanks to everyone for replying to the last post! As always, votes can be sent in through any method you want. Comments, asks, and PMs are all just fine. I’ll see it!
CW//Falling off a building, hostage situations, shapeshifting, medical abuse, extensive talk of sedatives, brief mention of a needle
Please note that the third scene of this piece is from the point of view of a drugged character, and thus the scene has some aspects that could be described as unreality. Please skip this scene if this would make you uncomfortable.
The video was grainy.
It was always grainy. That was the strange thing about it-- everyone carried around miniature computers in their pockets, equipped with tiny cameras that would have rivaled the most powerful devices of years prior. Any civilian could take a 4k quality video on some social media, but the moment anything actually important was happening, technology seemed to regress twenty years.
Hero supposed it didn’t matter. Their memory of the incident was certainly clear as day, better than any camera could ever capture.
And yet...
They clicked a button on the remote, and the clip restarted.
The sides of the screen were blocked out in fuzzy grey-- the video having been taken through the bars of a metal fence. Between them, the camera focused at first on the foot of a brown brick building, before panning upwards, only stopping upon reaching the roof. It took a moment for the visual to adjust, focusing against the glare of the sun overhead.
Two figures, on the building’s roof. Two figures seen so often together, in so many similar videos.
The standoff had taken from dawn till sunset. How Villain had gotten into the building unnoticed had yet to be fully understood, but, regardless of method, they wasted little time in taking hostage a group of professors, eating lunch together. A single one had been released, bringing with them a message:
“Everyone leaves. No one comes in. Everyone stays outside the fence.”
It had seemed like a trap, at first. Of course it had. It wouldn’t be the first time that Villain had played such a trick. After much debating, however, evacuation was deemed to be the best option, and the campus was soon barren.
The hours afterwards had been as long and hot as they had been nerve-wracking. The very thought of following orders from Villain made Hero’s stomach twist, but their orders were incredibly clear: Don’t do anything stupid.
It was an incredibly difficult order to follow.
Establishing a line of communication had been the hardest part. Villain had quickly disconnected any security cameras in the vicinity, alongside confiscating any technology their hostages might have held.
In the end, it was decided that a reporter would be the one to go in. One of the most recognizable faces in the city, and one that was neutral. Not fighting for either side, but representing the citizenry.
The whole plan bet on one fact: That the shapeshifting Hero could pull of the imitation.
It worked. At least, it worked for as long as it needed to. Villain accepted the olive branch, and allowed the supposed reporter to enter unharmed.
Of course, the illusion broke as soon as Hero opened their mouth. No matter how good they were at changing their shape, it did not change their voice. In the brief moment of confusion, the hostages had managed to make their escape.
Leaving only the two nemeses, and the building as their battlefield.
It was hard to remember the fight. They had waged so many battles against one another, they all seemed to blend together, at one point or another. There was broken glass, pushed over tables, exploding equipment, and then-
And then they were on the roof.
Villain was stupid, but they weren’t, well, they weren’t stupid. They may have had the moral compass of a kleptomaniac feline, and the brain cells to match, but they had common sense. A sense of self-preservation.
Forcing them to the edge of the roof... it was supposed to be like pushing them to a corner. Trapping them.
In the video, the two figures danced. Forward, and back, until one took the lead. Until they were up against the edge, with nowhere left to go.
They were supposed to stop. They weren’t supposed to fall.
They stopped their own fall, or at least they tried. They were telekinetic. Of course they did. But they were surprised, or confused, or, or something. They slowed themself down. But they did not stop. The force with which they struck the concrete parking lot below was more than enough to knock them out.
The video ended.
And... that was it. The end. Years and years of battles, some won, some lost, all ended. They should have been happy, and they were! They hated Villain, sincerely and truly hated them.
But no other villain fought like them. No other villain had their tongue, their wit. Their skill. Their fight.
Villain’s defeat should have been epic! The ultimate confrontation of good and evil, of chaos, and order.
Yet, their downfall was a simple trip.
In the corner of Hero’s TV screen, small white text helpfully reported to them just when that video had been recorded.
One year ago.
One year, since that day. Since Villain’s downfall. And now...
Hero’s phone buzzed. A text message. The confirmation of a meeting.
One whole year, and still, Hero’s mind was consumed by their lost nemesis.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The diner was terribly busy, and yet, when Hacker walked through the door, Hero had no doubts as to their identity.
Despite their rather stereotypical appearance, there was nothing about the person’s manner that would have indicated the sheer amount of time they spent behind a computer screen. They greeted the receptionist, pointed to Hero, and exchanged a few words beyond that. With a smile, then, they parted, and made their way to Hero’s table.
Their manner only seemed strange when they sat down, and Hero noted that the way they smiled seemed to pain them.
“Is this seriously what you people act like?” They hissed through bared teeth. “Can I stop smiling now? Or will they look at me weird?”
“They’re already looking at you weird.”
“They are?”
“You- You don’t need to do that.”
“Oh thank god.” Immediately, their expression fell into one far more analytic. Far less friendly. “I, uh, don’t get out much.”
“Really?” Hero raised a brow incredulously.
“I’ve got more important things to do than, uh, than going out. Anyways.” They stuck a hand outwards. It was partially covered by a fingerless glove. “I’m Hacker.”
“I figured.” Hero shook the offered hand. “I’m Hero, though I suppose you already know that.”
“You’d think people here would be, uh, a bit more in awe? It’s not everyday you get to eat in the same building as a superhero.”
“Keep your voice down, please.”
“Oh, sorry. Is it, like, a secret? You don’t have a secret identity, do you?”
“No. But when I’m out of costume, I’m not exactly that recognizable. So let’s keep it that way. Kapish?”
“Kapash. But, still, oh my god. This is so cool! A real life hero...”
“Yeah... Yeah. A real hero alright.”
A hero who could hardly focus during battle. A hero who infuriated their team leader more than they aided them.
“Anyways.” Hacker raised their head, a far more natural smile coming onto their face. “I have the... thing.”
“You mentioned that. It’s about Villain, right?”
“Mhm.”
The person across the booth leaned down, prying a laptop from a carrying case and placing it atop the table. It was a bulky thing, and as soon as it was turned on, the shrill sound of fans struggling not to overheat filled Hero’s head. Hacker clicked around a bit. They gripped the edges of the device, as if about to spin it around, before they stopped, frowning.
“It’s been a year now, hasn’t it?” They commented.
“Since Villain was captured. Yes. 374 days.”
“You remember?”
“Yes.”
“You miss them, don’t you?”
It was so direct. Hero couldn’t help but stutter:
“I don’t- Of course I don’t miss them. I hate them.”
Hacker looked up over the laptop screen to give them an incredulous look. It wasn’t a convincing lie.
“I don’t miss them.” Hero stood their ground. “But I want to make sure they’re contained.”
“I just... I don’t know if this is something you want to see. You’re trying to move on, and-”
“Show me it.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes. If it’s something to do with their containment, I need to know about it. I can’t let them hurt anyone else.”
“Well, that’s not the problem here. If you’re sure.”
With a sigh, Hacker spun the computer around, so that it’s screen faced Hero.
They weren’t sure what they expected. Some kind of... deep web threat? A message from Villain? A copycat? An escape attempt?
But they didn’t get any of that. Instead, the screen displayed a simple PDF. Medical records. At the top, in bold letters and a rather ostentatious logo, the header read:
Specialized Criminal Rehabilitation Unit of Organization
For the most part, the page was Greek to Hero. A slew of ID numbers and attending physicians with far too many acronyms following their names. What did make sense to them was the spreadsheet that made up most of the page, labelled:
Approved Daily Medication Dosage for Patient: Villain
The spreadsheet took up two pages with solid text. Hero did not recognize the medication names, of course, but they did not need to be a doctor to understand the entries written under the column labelled “Medication Purpose.”
Every single data cell, even as they scrolled to the bottom of the document, contained only one word. The same word.
Sedation
“This is...” Hero muttered, furrowing their brow. Scrolling up and down. This had to be wrong, somehow.
“I don’t understand most of it.” Hacker commented sheepishly. “But, uh, I have a few friends with some more medical knowledge than me. They’ve never seen anything like it. It’s more than enough medication to sedate a fucking elephant- sorry, excuse my language.”
“It’s fine.” The confusion in their voice was rapidly melting to fury.
“Even for major surgical procedures... nothing near this level would ever be used.”
“This has to be a mistake.” Hero shook their head. “A mix-up. Maybe it’s like... all the medications the facility ordered. And they just labelled it wrong.”
“Well, if it’s a mistake, they’ve been making the exact same one for an entire year. I’ve got 374 of these files. Newest one just got uploaded a few hours ago.”
“And they’re always the same?”
“With some minor dosage adjustments, but yes. That’s not, um, that’s not all of it.”
Hacker reached over, dragging the computer back so that it faced them again. There was more clicking this time, along with typing at a speed that made Hero’s fingers hurt, just to watch it.
When the laptop was spun back around, this time, it was a video.
A camera feed.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Villain felt about to choke on their tongue.
It wasn’t a new feeling. More or less, it was the only thing they felt, anymore. That heavy block of muscle in their mouth, threatening at any moment to block throat choke air no air no-
They were losing their words again. Words... wordsssssss... Voices. Voices spoke words. Sometimes, they did. Sometimes they grumbled and muttered and sputtered and murmured like a car murmured. Cars... or was it cats? No, cats didn’t murmur. They purred. What else did they do? Not bark... no, barking too loud for cats. Cat go mew mew, real quiet like.
Cat’s meow, that is a cat’s voice. There were other voices, too. Quiet like cats. Two of them, two voices. They knew those voices, those were the doctors’ voices. The doctors liked to talk a lot. They talked, but they did not see. Or... no. They were not seen. Villain did not see them. They wanted to, but their eyes were broken. The engines in their eyelids would not run anymore, would not open the garage door, Sally!
One of the doctors’ voices got closer. A million miles away, a hand was laid upon Villain’s wrist, flipping over their hand so that their palm faced downward.
“Let’s move it.”
It was a silly thing to say. Nothing moved in this place. Nothing that Villain could see, as their eyes were broken.
“Is the other vein healed enough?”
“It’s going to have to be.”
Silly words... Villain wanted to laugh, but their muscles were firmly locked away behind a padlock.
“Okay.” The doctor sounded so sad. Why were they so sad? Villain’s mouth was full of soil. The doctor was tired. “I’ll get the rest of the medicines.”
“We’re going 30 milligrams up from yesterday on the Propofol.”
“Oh? Why?”
“They opened their eyes, yesterday.”
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Hero felt sick. In the top right corner of the security footage, the same logo from the medical records was displayed. The Specialized Criminal Rehabilitation Unit of Organization. Below it, a subtitle.
“Keeping the city safe.”
Was this safety? It shouldn’t have been. They had known, of course, what had happened to Villain after their capture and very brief hospital stay. It was what happened to all villains. They were sent to the rehab unit.
A therapy program. Helping villains to control their powers and reform their lives. To return them to the straight and narrow. But, now that Hero thought about it...
Villain was the only one who had never been released.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Thanks so much for reading! Just like last time, there are two options along with every part of this story. Alongside each options is a question, so that you guys can give more specific suggestions if you so wish. The option that receives the most votes will be the choice that our Hero makes!
A.) Tell someone about what is happening - Who should Hero tell? (They are on a small team, as well as part of a larger Organization, for reference.)
B.) Attempt a more direct approach. Visit Villain in the rehab program - Should Hero try to rescue Villain immediately?

What Verification Process Required To Get verified On Instagram
When it comes to Instagram, users are constantly asking how to get verified on Instagram. The verification process is not actually new. In fact, it has been around since 2021. However, it still can be pretty darned confusing for beginners. We have tested, studied and experimented with the most effective ways to gain verified status on Instagram and compiled them into seven easy steps and tons of powerhouse strategies for a verified account on Instagram.
You'll need at least one Instagram account to be verified. If you don't have an Instagram account already, you will need to start one right away. Do NOT make the mistake of thinking that a single Instagram account will get you verified on Instagram... ever. Accounts with several hundred or even a few thousand followers will make you a worthy candidate to be verified. So don't just start one!
Once you have an Instagram account, login and go through the uploading process. After you are finished uploading all your pictures and content, you should click on the "verified badge" icon next to your name at the bottom of the page. It's located in the upper right corner of the page next to the words "masturbation". You'll also see a series of buttons and badges, which will expand as you scroll through the page.
The next step on how to get verified on Instagram is to complete all the steps listed below. The bottom left corner of the page where the "verified badge" icon is located will change color when you reach the last step. When you have the "verified badge" stage complete, you will now be able to browse through profiles on Instagram. Whenever a user posts on their account, the URL link to their page will appear with the blue checkmark.
For anyone new to social media marketing, this process can be a little confusing. It does not have to be. If you follow some simple steps, you can quickly establish yourself as an authority within your niche. This will drive the volume of followers and engagement.
The first step is to complete the profile verification process. This will require that you login to Instagram and click on the drop-down button for your personal page. Next, click on the link that says "Verify your Instagram account". You will then be asked to enter a short code. Entering the code will verify your account for a period of time, during which you will no longer appear as a fake Instagrammer.
The next step on how to get verified on Instagram is to complete the photo albums that you want to be featured on the Instagram page. Most people begin by posting pictures from their real life, but it does help to have some examples of what you have created available. Once you have an album complete, it is important that you are able to send the picture to the appropriate groups. The best way to do this is to add the links to your Instagram account.
Finally, the last step in how to get verified on Instagram is to promote your accounts. The easiest way to do this is through a link shortener, such as Budurl. Budurl will convert your landing page into a code that allows you to share the URL with your followers. This is an easy way to get started on how to get verified on Instagram and has proved to work for many people.
It is important to remember that when you become verified on Instagram that you gain a significant amount of followers. The best times to have this done are in the morning and at night. In general, followers will flock to your account if you post during these two periods. You will also notice that you gain a blue checkmark in your profile, which is a sign that your account is being verified.
Many new brands begin to see the value in how to get verified on Instagram as a means of promoting themselves. By using this method, they can build up a substantial fan base without having to spend thousands of dollars to do so. If a brand has not been active on social media platforms, it may take them a little longer to figure out how to get verified on Instagram. If they do, however, it will be worth the effort to remain active because it will help establish credibility. Reputation is everything in this day and age and a brand that is not well-known could find their page banned from all social media sites.
In addition, it is important to note that the verification process on Instagram does not affect rankings or the amount of traffic that a page receives. The verification badge alone will not bring any benefits to a page. As previously mentioned, a significant number of followers will follow a brand if they see that they have the blue check mark next to their profile. Therefore, if your company is a noteworthy one, the verification process is probably a good idea for you.

It takes 48 hours for your to get approved.
Add a bank account: Step 2 – Add your bank account and set your monthly subscription price
Once your account has been approved you should receive an email coming from OnlyFans confirming an approval and letting you know that you could now add your bank account plus set your monthly subscription price.
Log into your OnlyFans account, click on the particular profile icon, then click on “Add Bank”, this may take you to the banking page. The default payout method is Direct Transfer through your current Visa Card.
This particular is an Original Credit Transfer (OCT), a new repayment system that is quicker and cheaper as compared to bank transfers, permitting you withdraw as tiny as $20 in addition to receive it within just 3 business days.
Under “Direct Transfer (OCT)” you’ll see a button called “Other payout options”. This will show you the remaining payout options available, currently Direct Transfer (OCT) and International Bank Transfer (SWIFT) are available.
If you want to get paid by bank transfer instead you can choose this option, however this process only lets you pull away money after your account has made $200 every time, it’s can be slightly lengthier than Direct Transfer.
Alternatively, this method works with any bank account whilst, Direct Transfer on OnlyFans only works with Visa and Visa Debit card.
Judgement:
If you have a Visa or Visa Debit credit card, stick to Direct Transfer (OCT).
If you don’t have a Visa or Australian visa Debit card, choose International Bank Transfer (SWIFT).Once you have chosen your payout method, fill in the details needed and click “Save payout details”. That’s it! Today you simply need to arranged a monthly registration price and start getting paid. We will cover this in the next step.
Set a monthly subscription price
When your OnlyFans account has been accepted and your bank details happen to be added in order to your account, you can now set your month to month subscription price.
To do this, click on the profile icon in the top right corner then on the side menu go to “My Profile” then click on “Edit Profile” on your profile page.
By default your subscription price is set to “Free” and the minimum subscription price you can set is $4.99.
I suggest starting off with an amount range between $9.99/$14.99 and running promotions for $5.99/$7.99 when necessary. In the future you will see a pattern develop between your pricing, content and subscribers. You can then adapt your prices depending on what your account performs.
Generally speaking you are likely to have more members if your membership price is lower but don’t be frightened to charge more if you post a lot of content, particularly if the content is extended and time consuming to produce.
You want to have an equilibrium where it’s not too costly for new subscribers to sign up but you are still making enough money for it to be worthwhile. Consider it this way, if you charge $9.99 monthly and have 1, 000 subscribers, you’ll make $7,992 per month after OnlyFans requires their 20% charge.A lot of high performing OnlyFans creators have membership fees priced at $9.99 and even lower, so do not be afraid to begin off low.
  Making money on OnlyFans
Now that your OnlyFans account is fully setup, is the time to start posting content to your feed. Whenever a fan sees your profile, they can see the number of photos, videos, audio, likes and fans you have.
Since your fans are spending money on access to your own content, you would like to make sure that you have a sensible amount of content available. To start adding content to your OnlyFans account, click on the Home icon and then go to “New Post”.
As you can see, OnlyFans give you many posting alternatives
Your monthly registration payment is not necessarily the only method you are able to generate income about OnlyFans, you could generate income through ideas and Pay Per View content. We will look at these methods in details below.
Ask for tips
Fans can send you tips by clicking the dollar icon under your posts or they can tip you through the messages. If you post high quality content, don’t be afraid to ask your fans to like your posts and tip you if they enjoy your content.
Sell custom content using tips and PPV messages
Sell items in exchange for a tip, you can sell both digital content and physical goods this way.
For example you could sell:
Workout plans in PDF format Meal plan PDF’s Physical recipe books Photos & videos Products you own that want to sell to your fans
When selling on OnlyFans, create a tip menu and list your items for sale plus the tip fee. Pin your tip menu to your profile and tell your fans to let you know what they’re tipping you for.
If you are selling digital products, wear them specific document folders so you can quickly publish and send them to fans after obtaining an order from your tip menu.
When selling physical products, try and adhere to small, lightweight products that are inexpensive to send to your fans. Take into account that you might need your subs phone number depending on the courier you use. If a contact number is needed for delivery, add it to your tip menu.
If you are shipping physical products utilizing a monitored shipping service, send your fan the tracking number to offer them peace of mind.To pin your tip menu to your OnlyFans profile, first post it, then click on the configurations button 3 dots next to your post and click “Pin to your profile page”.
Use mass messages to provide exclusive content
You can use OnlyFans mass messaging feature to provide exclusive content to your current subscribers. Instead of posting content on your feed for future subscribers to see, you can send a video, photo or a message to all of your current fans.
Since the content won’t be on your feed, only current subscribers will have access to it, making it exclusive. You can use this strategy on your social media accounts to gain new subscribers. For example you could post this to Twitter:
“For the next week only my subscribers will receive *exclusive content example*, after next week it will no longer be available”.
Whenever you send a bulk message, your current subscribers will usually have access to be able to this content included inside the message, whether or not they haven’t examined their account for a couple of days.
For this specific reason, mass messages are a great way to ensure your overall subscribers don’t overlook exclusive content material.
In the event you post exclusive content to your feed making use of the expired posts feature, current subscribers who don’t verify your feed in the course of that time frame won’t see the particular content, so stay to mass communications so your subscribers don’t miss away.Subscribers are having to pay to get additional access to you, access they wouldn’t normally get coming from other social media marketing systems, so use the exclusive messages to interact together with fans and post exclusive content associated with you they will not see anywhere else.
OnlyFans PPV Messages / Pay Per View Messages / Locked Messages / Locked Posts
You can make money on OnlyFans by sending out PPV messages to your subscribers, these messages are price locked so your fans can only view it if they pay. You can send photos, photo sets (up to 20 photos), audio tracks and videos, the minimum price you can set is $3.
You can also send PPV text messages to a particular subscriber, for instance you might have a subscriber that requested a custom picture or movie for $50, in this case you will send the PPV message to that fan exclusively.
To send a PPV message (or price locked message) on OnlyFans, click on the envelope icon on the top of the page, this will take you the the chat page. On the chat page click “New Message”, next tick the “All Subscribers” box and click “Next”.
Write your message and attach the media you want to send, then click the price tag icon to add your price for the content. Next click “Send” and you’re done.
Your own fans will become able to see what type of PPV content you have sent, with out seeing the specific content itself.
For example in case you send these people a, they will certainly see a blurry out preview graphic with the phrase “video”, the size of the video plus the price to unlock it.
In case you sent your fans a locked photo message they will see a new blurred out preview, the phrase “photo” in addition to the amount of photographs included in the particular message, as properly as the price to unlock that.As i have said earlier, if you have a free of charge OnlyFans account you can even price lock your posts which will require your subscribers to be able to pay for that one post before viewing it.
 Promoting your account
OnlyFans lets you work promotions by offering fans a discounted registration.
You can arranged discounts to expire on a specific day, you can establish it for brand new subscribers only and you may set it in order to expire after a certain number of people have signed up. You can also make your account free for a while.
Discounted subscriptions encourages fans for taking a chance in signing up for your account, if they are unsatisfied they may cancel their revival.
If they like your content, congratulations! You now have a normal subscriber who will pay your regular price once their particular promotional month comes to an end.
Some people could have doubts about the value of your content, they might feel like your prices are too expensive. By running a promotion, you have a chance to prove to a potential subscriber that your content is worth the full price. For example your subscription usually costs $19.99, which is quite expensive, so you run a promo for $9.99 or even $4.99.If your usual pricing is expensive, this strategy will only work if the content you upload is generous and high quality. You need to prove to your fans that your high price tag is worth it.
Social media
To gain more subscribers to your OnlyFans account you can use social media to promote your account.According to Later, most online marketers follow the one cent per follower rule (or $100 per 10K followers). However you can occasionally pay $25 – $50 for promotion from influencers with 100 thousand followers
Use Snapchat to promote your OnlyFans page
Snapchat is great way to market your OnlyFans account, try to find well-liked Snapchat accounts with viewers who would be enthusiastic about your content.
For example if you operate a fitness OnlyFans, try to find fitness influencers, in case you produce Adult content look for adult influencers and so forth.
Once you have chosen an influencer, ask them to send an individual a screenshot of their insights, this is important for 5 causes:
1.According to Snapchat, only creators with large audiences have access to Insights. 2.You get to see how many views their stories got over the past week and month. 3.You get to see the total time Snapchatters have spent viewing their profile over the past week and month. 4.You get to see the percentage of male and female Snapchatters viewing their stories. 5.You get to see demographic information about their viewers, including age groups they are most popular with, average view time, story view percentage, lifestyle and popular regions.
Ideally you want a new Snapchat account together with at least several views in the particular last month to promote your OnlyFans account, the a lot more impressions your campaign gets, the more clicks and clients you gain.
When it comes to internet marketing the average conversion rate commonly falls around 2%, so you may utilize this to predict the amount of subscribers you will gain from a promotion right after receiving your influencers insights.
For example, with a 2% conversion rate, 1,000,000 impressions should get you at least 20,000 visitors and from those 20,000 visitors at least 400 should convert to subscribers. If your subscription price is $9.99 then you get $3996 in monthly revenue (400 x $9.99). Take away OnlyFans 20% fee and that leaves you with $3197 in monthly profit.
Use Reddit to promote your OnlyFans page
Reddit is a fantastic destination to market your OnlyFans account and get new subscribers. Create an account and look for subreddits associated to the sort of content that you write-up.
Before promoting your self on the subreddit be sure you read the subreddits rules, some subreddits enable self promotion whilst other don’t. You also desire to advertise your account upon multiple subreddits to improve your exposure.
Any time sharing your OnlyFans profile link, you must add your profile link in typically the comment section after making a post.
This particular is because links in Reddit article titles are not necessarily clickable, and considering that you will end up being posting image content you can not add a new description in your article.
So to ensure your current potential fans could get to your own profile easily, create your photo/image Reddit post (don’t forget to use a new catchy title) in addition to follow up with a remark together with your profile link.Reddit promotion will be especially great for influencers, gamers and adult content creators.
 Use your social media accounts
Promote your OnlyFans account in your Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and YouTube accounts. If your OnlyFans feed contains nudity or adult articles, don’t post any nudity directly upon those sites aside from Snapchat in addition to Twitter which have a far more relaxed articles policy.Add your OnlyFans link in order to your bio upon all of your current social network accounts plus always use aesthetic media like pictures, gifs and movies to promote your current links
 Twitter
Hook up your Twitter account so new posts are automatically shared with your followers. To increase your own click through rates, every time OnlyFans blogposts to your Tweets account, click the twitter update and choose “Retweet with Comment”. After that add a caption or summary along with an eye capturing image, gif or video. When the OnlyFans post is a movie you can use a screenshot, gif or short clip through the video to keep your followers a quick preview.Don’t just count on OnlyFans to write-up content to your own Twitter account, manually promote content oneself. Paste your OnlyFans link, write the summary and contain an image, video clip or gif.
Work with other OnlyFans creators
Spend or tip some other OnlyFans creators associated with influencers in exchange for them promoting your account to their fans. Before achieving this, the good to find out how many fans the creator has, therefore check their enthusiasts tab or request them to send a screenshot of these fan count.
 Conclusion
OnlyFans is a great way to earn cash online if you have exclusive content to offer your fans.
Remember to post consistently in addition to connect to your subs to keep up your subscriber count.
I wish you found this specific guide helpful, once you learn anyone who works an OnlyFans account or plans about creating one, really feel free to reveal this guide with them.
If all of the above doesn't sound too complicated and if you are serious about starting something that has the potential to earn you money feel free to signup to OnlyFans using the link below.

How to Repost on TikTok in 2023: Everything You Need to Know
Tumblr media
HOW TO REPOST ON TIKTOK IN 2023: EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
How to Repost on TikTok: What Does Repost Mean on TikTok?
Reposting on TikTok is much like “sharing” a post on Facebook or LinkedIn. When you  repost on TikTok, you’re taking someone else’s content, whether that be content posted by an individual or by a brand, and delivering it directly to your followers.
This allows you to expand your target audience or raise awareness about other facets of your brand, other divisions within your company, issues you find important and more.
As an example: our Sociallyin TikTok account might reshare the incredible, thumb-stopping content produced by our Sociallyin STUDIOS TikTok account. But what would be the goal for us reposting Sociallyin STUDIOS TikTok content on our main account like that?
The answer is to raise awareness about the wonderful work our creative team is doing on a daily basis to provide our clients with the best of the best in terms of social media content, dedicated photography and more.
The History, The Why and The Wow
The TikTok repost feature hasn’t always been a thing for TikTok. In fact, it’s a relatively new feature, and one we’ve been working hard to make the mocreatost of since it’s evolution.
That’s right. The first step is that easy–just don’t get lost scrolling like I just did. 🥲
Step #2: Find the TikTok You Want to Repost
Tumblr media
This is the hard part: locating/finding the video you want to share with your followers and friends. Whether you’re reposting your business TikTok on your personal page or just reposting a video that aligns with your core values,  creativity or inspiration, when you’ve found the right fit, it’s time to repost on TikTok!
Step #3: Click the Share Icon
Tumblr media
Click the “share” icon on the video you want to repost: this generally looks like an arrow, or has a particular social icon on it and is located in the bottom right-hand corner. Click it!
Unfortunately, you cannot see specifically which TikTok users reposted your TikTok.
No problem! You can easily undo a repost after “reposting” by clicking the share button again and then clicking “remove repost” where it previously said “repost”!
How to Repost on TikTok: Closing Comments

“The cover art is really simple.” Your eyes scan over the imagery of a black background with three muted color swatches arranged in rectangles meant to represent the ambiance of each track respectfully. Squeezing your hands that settled long ago on Yoongi’s right shoulder and upper arm, you bite your lip watching him type in an equally succinct description.
“Want to wait until we can design something?” He shifts his head with a shake so that his bangs cease obscuring his view as he glances up at you. A tiny shake of your head is your reply along with silence, appearing contemplative. “We can if you want.”
“If I don’t let you do it now, I think I’ll be putting it off forever.” You admit sheepishly. Your nervous eyes look towards Yoongi’s warm stare and a little smile breaks onto your face to try and hide the spilling nerves. “Really, Yoon, I like how it looks I’m not worried about the art to be honest with you.”
He nods gently, then pushes his chair a couple inches aside causing your hand on his arm to fall away while the other remains with a firm squeeze that Yoongi pays no mind to. “You want to be the one to click publish?”
“Me?” You startle, looking back towards the screen. The little red button in the corner reading ‘submit’ appears utterly normal and unassuming, yet the implications of what it will do are vastly opposite. You never thought about how jarring just releasing tracks could feel; while there is excited anticipation brewing in your chest, you can’t stop the conflicting nerves of wonder about the reception to find their way into each heartbeat as well. “I’m probably acting dramatic, aren’t I?”
“Not really.” Yoongi repels your self-consciousness, reaching his hand to cover over the top of yours on his shoulder, “It’s scary putting something you worked so hard on out there; I get it, sweetie.”
You nod, lips tightening from his voice’s comfort, and the pieces of worry that evaporate just because of his hand finding yours. Taking away the smallness of being alone, Yoongi assures you that he’s as much a part of this as you are. The name of his account, and your own next to the abbreviated producer title of the first track and written in the credential section of all three repeat the conjoinment of both of your responsibility for anything that can come from release.
With an exhale, you reach for the mouse, hovering the cursor over that red button that felt as much of a warning as it did a start. When you consider your beginnings of production five years earlier, you can almost believe this little action is entirely overdue. If you hadn’t given up so much of your voice for the job, maybe this would be a common occurrence by now, but then maybe as well you wouldn’t have the luxury of reaching this place alongside Yoongi.
Your index finger presses onto the mouse, allowing the millisecond clicking sound to practically blast through the room.
The screen takes barely anytime to refresh and reappear with a speeding loading meter. You watch it climb like the acceleration of your heartbeat, not for a moment taking consideration of the cancel button that lingers in the bottom corner. Yoongi’s hand grows tighter over top of yours, silently watching as well. Another page refreshes, announcing success and highlighting a link to share with anyone, as a short description tells that the public can now access on the music streaming service.
“Oh my god,” You dribble out exclamatory ramblings, then turn to look at Yoongi who looks up at you after a second longer of reading the information on the screen. Despite the shock excluding your expression, Yoongi smiles up at you, grinning teeth peeking through as you remain motionless.
“Congratulations, angel.” He says, rubbing your hand while allowing the moment to catch up with you. It does so in a slow eruption of a smile on your face, one that leaves you a little bouncy in enthusiasm,
“Yoongi,” You pull your hand away covering your mouth with both of them though it doesn’t hide the evident happiness taking over your expression. Yoongi’s empathetic glow of thrill for you remains as he stands from his seat, mixing a laugh into a gasp when you hop against him into a full hug. Nearly tripping backwards, his arms cross around you as his foot plants firmly to keep himself upright. “Thank you so much, Yoon. Really, really thank you.”
“You don’t need to thank me, angel, but you’re welcome.” He mumbles quickly, not wanting to take any of the moment’s attention from you. Instead his ands rub your back soothingly, elated from how happy you cling onto him with your face buried into the crook of his neck. “You want to go do something to celebrate?”
“Yes,” You nod, as you look upwards at him, ignoring the close proximity of your faces while you pay more attention to your toes remaining balance on the ground. “Please. Let’s get out of here-- we’ll probably get hunted down if we hang around.”
Within a few short minutes, the two of you stroll quickly down the hall, arriving at the elevator as you situate your bag’s strap over your shoulder. Yoongi adjusts a mask along his chin, keeping it off his mouth and nose until exiting the building. Your mind trails over a million ideas of comments that will find their way onto the internet in response, creating a reason for you to avoid looking at any social media for as long as possible.
You send a text to a groupchat with Namjoon and Seokjin instead, vague about details, but factually accurate with the most important news about Yoongi and you dropping the three tracks into the world without any warning. Expecting a reply from either as soon as one reads the shocking text, you keep your phone in your grasp, but bite your lip at the troublesome nag that Yerin could just as easily try and get in contact with you any moment as well.
“You okay?” Yoongi ducks his head, eyes studying any emotion on your face, as you sigh to ward thoughts away. Dropping your phone into the confines of your bag to leave the world at bay, you nod at him. “Without thinking about the bad things, the music itself is really good, angel. Try to just focus on that. Everyone is bound to like your work.” He continues to alleviate, stretching an arm in your direction which your hand happily takes to grab hold of his waiting appendage again. Entwining the fingers, he gives you a protective squeeze, listening to the elevator stop and announce the ground level, “Let’s just celebrate tonight. This is a happy occasion.”
“You’re right, yeah. I was just trying to let Joon and Jin know about it, but then I started thinking about everything too much.” You explain as you both step from the elevator into the staff lobby, where Yoongi can receive his car from the valet service. “What do you think we should go eat?”
Yoongi hums in thought, contemplating locations as he waves to one of the employees who knows him by face and starts off down to the garage level immediately. “I guess something to go with drinks. Barbeque usually says celebration, right?” He turns to you, as you lean against the counter fiddling with his fingers between both of your hands.
“You just love meat.” You smile up at him, straying one of your hands to pat against his chest as he pouts his lips above his mask and shrugs nonchalantly in response.
“Well, maybe-- but it is celebratory food, isn’t it?”
“Hmm...” You giggle as he gently jiggles your linked hands to further enhance a sales pitch,
“Why don’t you invite Namjoon and Jin? I bet they’d want to come.”
You roll your eyes at his attempt to push the desire for barbeque, though you’re inclined to agree because of the warm weather of summer evenings making the meal idea enticing. Ready to give in to stop Yoongi’s growing pout that seems more begging now than casually pitching the meal, your words never come out as the elevator’s sound again registers in your sense and you watch Jimin exit out.
The sparse amount of people in the lobby cause him to notice you and Yoongi in little time. Where you anticipated a small nod and walk away, you find his eyes linger instead, full of invisibly flurry despite the solemn expression encompassing his body language. You don’t turn away, instincts causing prickles of wonder in your chest, that grow into worry when you catch him smother a frown away.
Your suddenly tight squeeze on Yoongi’s hands, prompt him to turn his head back to check what you see. Watching Jimin step towards the little group of you two, Yoongi lifts himself from leaning on the counter, shifting so that he can face the casually dressed brunette.
“Hey,” Jimin greets the words towards you, and gives a nod of his head to Yoongi amicably. The tone of his voice is polite, but not like usual. Your eyebrows furrow in response to the fact, but you can’t dwell as Jimin goes on, “Hopefully you’re okay after what that guy said earlier?”
“Oh, yeah,” You nod, having practically forgotten about the producer for the past couple of hours. “He’s always been rude, so I don’t really care.” You explain, catching Yoongi’s pensive expression in the corner of your eye. Likely gauging the situation of your comfort. “Thanks again for saying something, Jimin.”
“It wasn’t really anything,” He shrugs off your words, glancing towards the exit doors as a driver parks a car in the small archway. “Definitely not something that deserves thanks.”
The absentmindedness of his eyes are a familiar sight, not a common occurrence, but you’ve seen it before. Appearing cluttered amidst thoughts, Jimin acts abnormal, but not in the way as a reaction to the strained memories between you too. Something other than that bothers him, you realize and can’t stop the quiet questioning, “Are you okay?”
Yoongi glances towards you as you ask, finding a genuine focus for the man in front of you in your eyes. When he looks towards Jimin whose appearance seems hesitant at your line of questioning, Yoongi for a moment wonders if there’s still entanglement between you both. You haven’t brought up Jimin in weeks now, but certainly the thought of him crosses your mind, Yoongi realizes this, but watching forms a knot in his throat. Small, yet distinctly there as he stands separate from you both, despite his hands holding yours.
The moment of understanding startles him internally and his hand breaks from your own, as he comes back into reality hearing the employee from before calling his name. He turns back towards the counter, to retrieve his keys, listening on as the thread in his throat continues crossing in and out of itself, building up and for what reason.
“Yeah,” Wearily spoken, Jimin watches your short glance at Yoongi as his hand released yours. When your eyes quickly come back to his own, Jimin just shrugs a shoulder, forcing a half-hearted smile, “Long day… That’s all.”
Undeniably, there exists the beginnings of a line, that you have no reason to speak beyond what Jimin explains to you without substance of whatever is obviously wrong. Given all of the distance grown, and separation that has caused the awkwardness of strangers with history to fester between you both, you have no reason to go beyond the casual conversation, but you can’t erase his expression. You’re certain those around you would assume his response to be literal, but there’s more underneath it, you can see it.
You could see there was more beneath his response of surprise when you kissed him for the first time years ago, and you can just as easily decipher that there is something Jimin didn’t disclose that makes his person appear so recluse and uncertain. Worry doesn’t contain itself in your mind, instead flooding out from your heart practically shoving it, “Do you want to talk?”
It doesn’t feel wrong to ask him, but watching Jimin’s eyebrows twitch a bit wider you know the question is unexpected. Your lips tighten, trying to ignore the idea that you’ve made a mistake in offering. You turn towards Yoongi to alleviate the tension in your throat, to make the question lighter as you go on, “Right, we have time until the evening; I can talk to him and meet you afterwards?”
The second the sentence concludes you feel as though you’ve done even more wrong. Yoongi’s glance towards Jimin isn’t casual, closer to an examination, then he returns his eyes to you. It’s a small moment, but how Yoongi looks at you isn’t warm, but perhaps hurt. Disappointed in your decision, you think. Then it’s squashed away as he nods his head,
“Yeah, that’s fine.”
Blinking in confusion of his reaction, you stay stunned silent and only watch as Yoongi nods his head towards Jimin and walks around the two of you towards his car outside. Frowning now, you consider if you’ve said anything for him to get so visibly upset about. Even if he’s disappointed that you want to lend Jimin an ear, Yoongi’s completely altered mannerisms seem off.
“Y/N,” You look towards Jimin as he calls out to you and smiles gently, tiredly as he continues, “You don’t have to let me rant to you. I’m sure you don’t really want to.”
“I do though.” You reiterate, mentally frustrated by why Yoongi walked away. “You seem sad about something,” Explaining your perspective, your hands squeeze together, trying to settle in belief that what you’ve done isn’t wrong-- you don’t have to act like Jimin was the worst memory of your life, despite the changes since you’ve spoken to him, he was still important to you. He’s still human and capable of feeling sad, needing someone to listen; if you’re the one worried why wouldn’t you let him. You still care about his well being, it’s that simple, “Is it wrong of me to talk to you?”
“Well, no,” He says simply, biting his lip, and you wonder if his hesitation is due to Yoongi’s reaction as well or because of the strain between you two. “Then let’s go so you won’t be too late to meet him later on.”
---
“I’m actually kind of surprised you picked a cafe.” You admit quietly, looking down at your pretty, light lavender tea drink. Lifting your eyes up to Jimin you find him adjusting a stray lock under the confines of his cap where the rest of his hair has been hidden away. As though that is the bulk of his identity, and not the designer graphic shirt and expensive Doc Martins wouldn’t bring any attention, he sits back into his chair,
“Well, it’s not busy right now,” He says, which is fair considering only another single person typing away on their laptop sits on the opposite side of the establishment. “Besides if anyone says anything it’s easier to deny anything wrong with your fake relationship.”
“Yeah,” You murmur, forgetting about that public aspect between you and Yoongi often times lately. “I guess that’s true.” You stir your drink with the straw, less interested in drinking it. “So what happened that made you look so sad?” “Ah,” Jimin rubs his jaw, remembering the conversation with Yerin. He looks at your person, finding little details that have changed and others that haven’t, but most notably acknowledges your leave and its freeing effect on your expression. It almost feels not fair to complain to you when you’re taking everything SoundWave and himself to an extent have held away from you.
He’s caught in your gaze when you finally turn towards him expectant of an answer, but he really doesn’t feel like he should tell you. Why did he agree to speak with you in the first place. The largest part of Jimin’s heart simply wanted to see you again, but what is there to say. You shouldn’t have to listen to his tales of stagnation any longer. He doesn’t want to dwell on that, so his lips keep the meeting a secret as he changes the direction,
“I’m really sorry that I never told you how I felt about your contract earlier.” Knowing this isn’t what you expected him to say, Jimin isn’t surprised as he watches your eyes drift into shock and your mouth to part slightly. “I know I should’ve.” He smiles bitterly, glancing towards the drinks on the small table. “I love you. I didn’t want to ruin us, but that wasn’t fair of me.”
“Is,” Your slowly spoken speech causes you to ball your hands onto your lap, “Is that why you looked upset?” Regret continuing to jumble his days, like how you would recall the months of silence when you kept the questions you had to yourself.
“Maybe in some ways,” He ponders, still avoiding eye contact as he instead taps his index finger once on the laminated wood. “Yerin’s always told me that I can’t do for myself what you do for everyone in the company.” You narrow your eyes, about to cut in and ask what he means but Jimin goes on. “When I was going to debut they had it set that I wouldn’t produce any of the music, but I thought that would be short-term while I learned how in the meantime.” You watch his lips contort into a dissatisfied frown, “But when it stayed like that and I asked to try making my own music she’d always say that route is worthless for the company.”
“You tried to make your own music?” The statement falls out of your lips like a question in disbelief. Always believing he had no interest from the fact he never showed you even a line of his work.
“Of course,” He chuckles, rubbing his face as the memories wash over hours of work to create samples that were passed on each and every time. “I want to be a performer and make as much of my own stuff that I can, but,” The two of you know what he means when he stops speaking. There was never an opportunity for Jimin to even try. “According to Yerin, if you and other producers didn’t make everything themselves, I’d be out of a job as an idol.”
“Why didn’t you tell me?”
Jimin turns towards your risen voice, finding your forehead creased in frustration, lips frowning like you hadn’t been trusted. He swallows air, not sure if you’d find his reasoning acceptable, because even Jimin thinks it’s just a testament to how cowardly he acted.
“I never mentioned the song rejections because I was embarrassed,” He pauses noticing your expression become more hurt, but he doesn’t stop. “You’re a genius at making songs, and I thought I was so bad at it that I couldn’t even be successful on my own without the company making everything that I am.” Jimin watches you continue to bite your lip, perhaps holding back words until he’s finished.
“But by the time you started talking about wanting to receive credit for your songs, I got scared that everything would fall apart for my own career.” He groans, rubbing his face with both hands as he shakes his head, “I know it was fucking greedy-- I really do know that, when I think about it now I get so upset. You’re getting what you deserve now though; you’ll be able to do what you want as a songwriter and producer and I’m glad. It took me losing you to get over being selfish and that’s always going to be something I have to live with, but if anything good came out of this I’m glad it’s you moving on. I’m happy for you,” When he smiles, Jimin wonders why you no longer look willing to speak. “Even if I’m not in your life anymore, I’ll still support whatever you do. I promise that.”
---
Namjoon, 6:14pm: You and Yoongi did WHAT?
Seokjin, 6:16pm: Tell me why the first song of the three is so good. How did you both make it so good?
Namjoon, 6:26pm: Y/N respond, you can’t just send a vague fucking text like that and not say anything else, where are you at and what is going on?
You stare at the four hour old text messages from just moments after your initial message in the groupchat. The words bump around as the taxi goes over rough asphalt rounding a corner, but you don’t think of a reply. Too focused on the conversation between you and Jimin that concluded just as the sun was halfway away for the night. You put your phone away in your bag, feeling the car drift to a stop as the reasons for Jimin’s silence repeat in your mind over and over.
So absentmindedly you saunter into the apartment complex, filing into the elevator and clicking the floor number while you try and think of why he would have never told you about his own problems with Yerin. No matter how the sentences repeat, it sounds like he was manipulated into submission as well as you were, yet to the extent of being your enemy in a way. Though you doubted he was actively conscious of the fact for so long, and even so Jimin’s already apologized to you. He’s settled the confusion, so why are you dwelling?
It takes a moment to realize where you are, and with a shake of your head you press your finger into the doorbell, then use the same hand to rub your temples. There’s a piece you can’t connect within yourself, that makes the conversation had so unnatural from how you would assume you’d react. You just sigh, trying to settle down your head before startling at the front door opening.
Yoongi reveals behind the door, simply looking at you for a moment. He steps back to open it wider, “You look like you’re drained.”
“Thanks.” You huff, stepping into his apartment, while frowning at the idea that everyone who has seen you probably thought the same way. You dismiss the thoughts, turning back towards Yoongi, but having to shimmy around once more as he walks off towards his couch. “Yoon-” You start a question out of confusion, but pause as you recall his dismissive exit earlier from the company.
Slowly you step towards the couch after him, watching as he slumps into the corner. You stop short of his lounging legs, head tilting as you watch him rub his face and stifle a groan, “Does your head hurt?” “No,” He laughs at your observation, in a way non judgemental, but genuinely humored by its simplicity. Then Yoongi lets his arms fall to either side of him, while he looks up toward the ceiling, “No. I acted dumb earlier. I’m sorry about it.”
“Well, I messed up our plans for dinner to talk to Jimin. I get why you would be disappointed in me. I’m sure it seemed really weird for me to do.”
“I wasn’t disappointed.” Yoongi speaks flatly, hand toying with the hair most atop his head while continuing to look up towards the ceiling. “When I was talking to Hoseok about it he said I acted like I was jealous.”
You giggle a little, thinking of the implication of the emotion and finding it a bit out of place for Yoongi’s character. From what you’ve learned about him he seems entirely trusting, though not always calm, still understanding enough to know there wasn’t a need when Jimin and you have only a completely collapsed relationship between you both.
Then you wonder about the idea of why you find the need for Yoongi to be jealous to be silly. Why would he find himself jealous about Jimin, and why do you automatically think it’s baseless.
“Did the talk go well?”
“What?” You blurt, looking up from the floor to Yoongi. His head straightens properly to look at you, finding your question strange. His lips frown towards you and then you realize what you’ve said and shake your head, “Oh, yeah.” You shrug, as Yoongi sits up, feet lying flat on the floor.
“What happened?” He asks with narrowing eyes, voice softly concerned that something went wrong because of your scattered disposition. “Did he say something, angel?”
Before his questions register you consider his nickname for you, wondering when he began using it but finding no point of time in particular. “He apologized to me.”
Yoongi notices his heart beat louder than usual, but does his best to ignore the unneeded anxiousness. “For what?”
“He was telling me that he should’ve never been selfish about wanting me to keep being uncredited. Yerin made him think he can’t succeed without all of the construction behind the scenes,” You bite your lip, thinking about the amount of worry he most likely had along with its confliction because you’re sure he truly didn’t want to hurt you through any of the internal issues. “He said he regrets losing him and I because of his fear.”
“Then what’s stopping you both from getting back together again?” Yoongi speaks without filter, but wants to retract every word instantly. The knot in his throat returns, and he wants to stop from hearing whatever you could say. He recalls the concern laced in your eyes upon seeing Jimin earlier and thinks that he doesn’t want the idea of returning to be considered.
But as you look up at him with widening eyes, Yoongi realizes he doesn’t want to get hurt by potentiality. His voice takes over again, “If he had told you then, you’d still be together with him, wouldn’t you?”
“But he didn’t tell me then!” You retort instantly, volume picking up from the insinuation of his words to push you back towards Jimin.
Yoongi stays quiet, watching you with a forming frown as you appear to grow frustrated. He should leave it at this, he should’ve divulge further, but it bothers him still-- that nagging memory of you being unaware that he took his hand from yours earlier, and all of the other instances he’s watched you be heartbroken because of Jimin-- because, “You still love him though.”
Your shoulders visibly lose tension, Yoongi swallows hard at the sight of it. Inhaling a deep breath, you consider his assumption. Consider that you haven’t brought up Jimin in so long only to go out of your way to privately speak with him right in front of Yoongi’s eyes. Consider that you never thought about the direction of your feelings for Jimin after more than a month.
When the memories play over in your head once more, you can say that they still fill you with a bittersweet joy. Thinking of all of the times you spent with Jimin while the two of you were so new to the idol industry, it’s natural to be fond. You were friends with Jimin long before there became the physical relationship, and you’ve cared for him in growing ways ever since you met him.
Jimin isn’t a bad person. And from where you left off with him today, you’re positive towards the idea that he’s changed from the fear in his yelling months earlier at the party. You still believe he’s capable of more than that and seeing whatever comes for him is a warm thought. You still care about him. There has never been a question of your changing care towards Jimin when he played such a large role in your life for so many years, you want what would be best for him.
But as you look on at Yoongi, you can’t find the perspective that he seems to believe about you. The thought never occurred to you, and certainly you can’t pinpoint a day of change, but when you try and consider fixing what has broken between you and Jimin you’re unable to process a way. And when you find Yoongi’s eyes staring straight into yours, you find that you haven’t thought about Jimin through a rose colored lense in awhile.
“No, I don’t.”
Yoongi stays silent, replaying your response in his head quite a few times. His eyebrows narrow, muted disbelief surfacing on his face as he stands from the couch. Your eyes follow his, Yoongi catches the fact as well as your lips tightening into a line, maybe out of surprise for your own words. But before he’s able to think further your head shakes,
“I haven’t for weeks now.” You take a breath, shocking yourself by how you’re able to go on about this despite realizing it only as the words escape, “I did, but I really don’t anymore.” Your hair shakes as you twist your head back and forth, wondering if there was ever a precise moment where your feelings no longer extended towards Jimin.
“I never even thought about the idea that I had stopped,” You laugh at the nonsense of the fact, watching Yoongi’s feet pad forward, eyes evidently concerned to some extent about your ramblings. “It’s so weird-- you’d think I would’ve figured it out sooner, right?” You ignore Yoongi shaking his head to your words. “I don’t know when I stopped, or,”
You let him take your hand into his for comfort, not-believing it would remain for long. But you selfishlessly let the touch linger onwards. Undoubtedly the shock of your conclusions will make Yoongi pull away. There’s time to stop, you think that there’s no reason to shovel out so many of your emotional words at once. It’s impulsive, without calculation for any of the words you’ve said, but you think about the meaning of your last ones. Knowing there should be more tact and grace, or build up that isn’t after the rantings of your ending feelings in your past relationship, but through all of this, the words themselves no longer wish to be kept hidden in the background of your mind, so they flutter out in an exasperated whisper,
“Or when I started having feelings for you.”

Top Reasons to Advertise on Facebook
Tumblr media
You can’t argue with results. which suggests you can’t deny Facebook ads. They’re super profitable. (If, and that’s a giant IF, you recognize what you’re doing.)
Nearly all social media marketers (96%) consider Facebook advertising the foremost effective paid option out of all social networks, per an eMarketer study. One reason is Facebook’s size. Billions of individuals see ads on their platform monthly. People spend almost an hour thereon day after day. And despite what the haters say, Facebook continues to be growing, too. That’s why budgets are doubling (up to $31 billion and counting).
Listen:
You want to achieve people online? Facebook is the single best alternative to Google AdWords. Don’t get me wrong, AdWords is awesome. But it’s also expensive. I’ve personally worked on client accounts where every single click cost anywhere from $50 – 100. Per click! Then only a little percentage of these people ever became a lead. Most of them bounced from the location. Now guess what quantity that effort was? This company literally spent thousands of dollars day after day just to herald some decent leads.
It’s different with Facebook. You get access to the identical number of individuals. except for far less. And once you’ve got some tricks up your sleeves (after reading the remainder of this article), you’ll be able to get website clicks for pennies and new sales for just some bucks each. Let’s see how it works.
Facebook Advertising Definition
“Wait, you'll be able to advertise on Facebook?”
If that was your initial reaction to the current post’s headline, then you’re a touch late to the party. But, no worries, I’ll get you up to hurry. Since Facebook gets plenty of data from their users, who enter it voluntarily on their profile (things like age, location, and interests), they need an honest idea of who users are and what they like. Therefore, they will serve them targeted ads that show them products that they're likely to shop for, sites they have a tendency to love or events they’d like to attend.
For example, I recently joined a Facebook group about Udemy, the net course platform.
Naturally, Facebook jumps on my choice and starts showing me ads that prompt me to join up for a course (they thought i would prefer to study creating video games).
There are some features that each Facebook ad has and these make ads unmistakable. Adinn the social media marketing company in Madurai is elaborating it for you:
You can see a “Sponsored” tag right underneath the name of the page that's advertising to you. Adinn Facebook advertising company in Madurai helps you to give sponsored Ads to your target audience.
There’s also a singular “Like Page” button, within the top right corner, that’s never visible on regular posts.
Finally, unlike regular news feed items, all Facebook ads have a call-to-action (also called a CTA), within the bottom right corner, which could say one in all the subsequent things:
Learn More | sign on | Download | Contact Us | Shop Now | Book Now | Watch More | Apply Now
Facebook contains a predefined set of CTA buttons.
So, remember, you'll be able to spot Facebook ads by being attentive to those 3 things:
A “sponsored” tag, below the name of the location
The prompt to love the page within the top right corner
A call-to-action button within the bottom right corner
Reach out to Adinn the best smm company in madurai to advertise on Facebook.

The Other Day at Hot Topic: Man Crush Thursday
“Caption:” Demyx announces, reading his handiwork from the screen of his phone with the zeal of someone reading a marquee on Broadway blazing with bulbs. “Up-and-coming rockstar, Roxas, rocking his new #TheOrganization swag @a-nobody-named-roxas
...
#ManCrushThursday #RockBand #Music #Keys #Singer #EmoKid #SkaterBoi #SeeYouLaterBoy #[KissyFaceEmoji]”
Roxas blanches. He’s not sure which of the hashtags to take issue with first. Possibly the Avril Lavigne lyrics which Sora had sung to him a thousand times too many when they were in junior high.
Vanitas has no such reservations. “Man Crush Thursday is not a thing,” he objects unhelpfully, straightening a particularly disorganized box of Snickers bars below the counter. He’s crouched close enough to be involved with the conversation, far enough away that he can stay out of what he wants to and look busy while doing it.
“I’m a trendsetter, Vani,” Demyx insists, artfully plumping his elaborate hairstyle.
“Is that what that is…” Vanitas mutters, his trail off a sign he’s remembering his recent decision to try to behave himself.
“Excuse me?” Demyx sounds affronted but the corner of his lip curls up, reassuring Roxas that the David Bowie look-a-like standing before him doesn’t give a shit about Vanitas’ good opinion, or, quite possibly, anyone’s at all.
Vanitas pretends he is too far away to catch this last bit and attempts to look busy with the Twizzlers, so Demyx angles his phone at Roxas again.
“Demyx.” Roxas warns, managing to shift his Organization swag into one arm and, with the other, reaching out to lower Demyx’s phone. He’s afraid of what fresh horrors another five minutes on Instagram will bring. “I don’t think I should be getting my picture posted while I’m at work. From what I’ve seen of Saïx so far, he will fire me and then roast marshmallows over my corpse.”
Already, Roxas can hear the beginnings of the sharp lecture that will no doubt proceed his slow demise.
“That’s what you’re worried about getting fired over?” Vanitas mutters, gesturing at Roxas critically with one of the Snickers bars. “Really?”
Not a word, Roxas is about to bite back, but the sound freezes up in his throat, as Demyx laughs easily and slips his phone out of Roxas’ grip and into an over-large athletic short pocket.
“Relax, boys. Saïx is living that social media free life. It’s like…” Demyx swishes his hand around as if to illustrate that he has no idea what he’s talking about, “a positive mental health thing.”
“I’d like to live a Demyx-free life,” Vanitas tells a box of Sour Patch Kids, as he removes it from the Skittles carton. “As a positive mental health thing.”
Roxas unconsciously reflects that Vanitas is not unlike a Sour Patch Kid. First, he’s sour, then he’s uncomfortably sticky, gooey, and difficult to get off the bottom of your shoe.
Roxas glances to Demyx for a reaction and is, again, a little impressed to find none at all. Roxas thinks he might have to take a page out of his book.
Instead, Demyx’s eyebrows have darted up, one pierced and glinting, and then he’s scrambling to search through the Organization swag bag that Roxas had wrongfully assumed had been fully emptied into his arms.
“Oh no,” Demyx grumbles good naturedly, “Saïx! The stickers!” Finding nothing in the bag, Demyx reaches out and plucks a few of the stickers from Roxas’ hand. “I’m going to need some of these back—for Saïx. He’s a huge The Organization fan, you know…”
Roxas doubts this, judging by Saïx’s reaction to Demyx’s on-the-clock recruitment process, but he already knows better than to express such doubts to Demyx.
As Demyx shuffles through the designs, he tilts his hand to Vanitas, crouching down to retrieve a pair of Bendy and the Ink Machine socks somebody had dropped at check out. “Vani, you want a sticker?”
“What am I, a kid at the dentist’s office?” Vanitas gripes without looking up from his work. “Leave me out of this.”
“And Saïx is out today, right?” Demyx frets, glancing around the store as if the man might be lurking in the shadows of an anime display. Satisfied, he nods to himself. “Guess I’ll have to stick them into his mailbox or run them over to—” “Axel?” Vanitas interrupts, casually straightening from his crouch, and tossing the socks over his shoulder, where they land surprisingly neatly on the checkout counter. He turns to face a mildly surprised Demyx head on.
The store may be close to 80 degrees, but Roxas feels like he’s just stepped under an AC vent roaring full blast.
Vanitas had threatened to get the next employee to come in to confirm that Axel and Saïx are far more than just friendly. And Demyx and Axel seem close, so if he says they are, no jokes, then there can be no doubting it...
But there’s no way…
“Well, yeah,” Demyx’s smile is nervous, twitchy, like it had been when he’d last seen Saïx in person. He flutters the stickers in the air, and one floats to the ground. “I mean, hell, he’s definitely the more approachable of the two.”
“Hey, Demyx…” Vanitas sidles up to his side, movements languid, seamlessly smooth, predatory, and voice even more so, as he wraps an arm around the man’s back and gives it a friendly squeeze. “You and Axel have been friends for a long time, right?” Demyx smiles broader even as his brow furrows, glancing down to Vanitas’ eyes. “Um,” he clears his throat. “Yeah? Yeah, man, he was one of the first people to join The Organization.” He pats Vanitas on the back. “We wouldn’t be a band without him.”
Vanitas nods and removes his arm. “You’re just now finding out Saïx is a fan? He’s been with Axel that whole time, hasn’t he?”
No way I could be this wrong about them…
Roxas bites his bottom lip and watches Demyx carefully.
Because that would mean I was a total prick to Axel.
And he was so nice to me back, that I didn’t even realize it.
“Well,” Demyx relaxes into the gossip and tilts his head, wading through the memories, the flop of his hair while he does it reminding Roxas of a droopy-eared dog, “give or take a few little hiccups. But who hasn’t got those, am I right?” His smile fades as he glances to Vanitas only to find him locking eyes with Roxas. Demyx’s easy tone falters. “Why?”
Hiccups? Roxas’ chest aches like he’s been carrying something simultaneously too heavy and too hot.
Vanitas’ smile is confident, more than a little vindictive.
“You’re… you’re joking.” Roxas’ breath catches, replaying the way he’d insulted Saïx earlier over in his head, and then trying to picture Axel and Saïx together. Polar opposites, but he has to admit, they’d look gorgeous side by side… Tall, muscular, intimidating, hair like fire and ice...  And they had been on that dumb orientation video together and… and Axel had kept telling Roxas ‘I help Saïx run his life.’  “You and Axel were just joking. Axel and Saïx aren’t really… together… are they?”
“Why?” Demyx’s good humor drops off entirely now. “Was Axel messing with you?” He rolls his eyes toward the heavens like he’s pleading for Axel’s soul, his hair flopping again.  His voice takes on an edge both hard and pleading, “He can be kind of a jerk that way. He just doesn’t even think—” “No.” Roxas shakes his head quickly, and Demyx’s frustration drops off at once, if a bit warily. Out of the corner of his eye, Roxas can see Vanitas’ eyes flitting between the two of them, brown, but he remembers them earlier, flashing gold in the light. This unnerves him all the more as he tries to replay Axel’s words in his head. “No, no, Axel said…”
‘He is smart... successful... built like a tank…’ Axel’s green eyes had flicked playfully, scanning his face, trying to decide if Roxas believed him.
“But… they’re so…” Roxas shakes his head again, feeling his mouth dip open, and hang there. ‘Different’ doesn’t feel like a strong enough word.
‘Well, they say opposites attract…’
Axel’s taunting smile is beginning to take on a new meaning in Roxas’ head, and something in his stomach starts to constrict.
“Hey.” Demyx shakes his head, irritation slipping off, as he shrugs. “Don’t look at me, man. I don’t get it either.”
Roxas stares intently at Demyx for a minute and then cracks a smile. He grew up with Sora, after all, ever the practical joker. And he had heard them joking about Saïx before. He knows it. “You’re all screwing with me, right?”
If it’s true, and Axel tells Saïx what I said about him, I can kiss this job good bye.
Demyx glances at Vanitas who shrugs a shoulder himself, and insists, “I already tried to tell him.”
Demyx’s brow furrows, and he hesitates, head shaking just slightly. He puts on a soft, almost of a smile. “See for yourself, buddy.” Demyx taps at his phone for a few more seconds and then hands it to Roxas.
Roxas has trouble making his fingers wrap around the thing. He hopes Demyx can’t see his arm shaking. His examination of the phone screen is anticlimactic, however. The Instagram search screen is up and Demyx has filled it in, but not yet hit ‘enter.’
“flurryofdancingflames?” Roxas reads, confused. “Is this Axel’s username?”
Demyx forgets his irritation, whether real or feigned, upon hearing this, and claps Roxas on the shoulder. “Yeah, see how his handle is so much awesomer than yours because I came up with it?” At Roxas’ continued confusion, Demyx clarifies, “Originally his account was just to post videos of his fire-dancing.” Vanitas laughs, but it’s not a friendly thing. “Now who’s screwing with Roxas?” “I’m serious! He took most of them down, but I bet I can find at least a couple—” Demyx takes back the phone before Roxas has got up the nerve to press the search button, and in a few seconds, he has a still pulled up. The background is ink black, but Axel’s impossibly lanky silhouette is as unmistakable as the dark gold and amber glint of his hair, even tied off in a knot. His back arches, catlike as he swirls rings, frozen in the frame above his body, the yellow light gleaming off every inch of him not covered with fabric or tattoo. And to top it off, he’s grinning like a sinner straight at the cameraman, and now in this moment, straight at Roxas.
Roxas’ throat feels dry and his heartbeat starts to pick up at a steady pace. “Oh,” says Roxas. Oh.
“Impressive, right? Here.” Demyx taps the screen and a ghostly white arrow appears over the fire dancer. He taps it again and the video begins to play.

... MEWE RP !
so  i  decided  to  make  this  as  my  first  resource  for  those  who  have  heard  this  type  of  rp  but  find  it  confusing.  i  myself  don’t  know  how  i  came  across  it,  but  the  truth  is  mewe  rp  is  becoming  more  and  more  popular  amongst  rpers  and  turning  into  a  good  alternative  to  twitter  and  facebook  rp.  not  gonna  say  it’s  better,  but  this  new  site  does  have  more  features  for  a  more  organized  roleplay  experience  than  twitter  or  facebook.  with  no  more  delays,  here  is  some  things  to  know  about  mewe.
if by any chance, there is any question or doubt about this how to, know that my messages are wide open for you. also, don’t take credit or steal the content; it took me ages to put it together.
ABOUT MEWE
mewe  has  been  around  a  while  and  can  be  installed  in  the  mobile  device  just  like  tumblr,  facebook  or  twitter.  doesn’t  weight  much  on  your  device  and  allows  you  to  roleplay  from  your  phone  or  tablet  as  well. much  like  twitter  and  facebook,  it  has  the  main  feed,  where you  can  post  text,  pictures,  videos,  gifs  and  polls  for  others  (  in  this  case,  your  friends  )  to  view  and  answer/comment  on  it.  it  can  be  considered  a  new  social  media  where  most  features  are  free  (  you  have,  of  course,  some  features  that  needs  payment  but  you’ll  soon  realize  most  of  them  aren’t  worth  it  ).  it  can  also  happen  a  lot  that  the  payment  features  become  available  for  free  for  long-time  users,  as  it  happened  once  (  i  became  able  to  use  the  dark  theme,  for  example,  that  is  $2,99,  after  a  few  updates  the  application  as  made  ).
like  on  all  platforms,  you have  a  your  account  that  you  can  modify  with  your  own  profile  (  with  a  profile  picture  +  header  ),  that  you  can  also  access  through  browser  on  your  laptop.  in  your  profile,  there are  eight  fields  you  can  fill  information  with  (  about  me,  town,  company,  college,  high school,  relationship  status  and  interests  ).  all  of  them  have  word  limit  except  about  me,  which  usually  is  used  to  write  about  your  character  and,  some  rpers,  decided  to  put  ooc  information  too  (  ooc  age,  timezone,  if  they’re  up  for  plotting  and  writing  preferences  )  but  i’ll  get  to  that  later.
on browser, find  the  website  on  www.mewe.com.  it’s  fairly  easier  than  on  mobile,  since  you  can  find  everything  you  need  on  the  top  bar  and  sidelines. to  access  things  like  settings,  your profile  or  contacts, just  click  on  the  small  icon  on  the  top  right  corner  of  your  screen.
Tumblr media
on  mobile,  let’s  start  on  the  bottom  line.  you  have  a  little  house,  that  represents  your  main  feed;  three  dots  connected,  that  represent  the  groups  you’re  in  (  very  important  feature,  that  i’ll explain  briefly  );  the message icon,  where  your  private  messages  are  at;  a  little  bell,  that  will  present  your  notifications  and  the  last  button,  of  a  little  person,  that  will  take  you  to  your  profile  settings.
Tumblr media
1. YOUR SETTINGS
let’s  start with your profile.  when  clicking  on  the  little  person  on  the  right  bottom  corner  of  your  mobile  (  or  if  you’re  on  the  browser,  the  right  upper  corner  where  your  profile  picture  appears  ),  you’ll  find  several  options.  the  ones  we’ll  be  concerning  over  are  contacts,  my  profile,  settings  and  my  account,  starting  by  the  latter.
1.1. MY  ACCOUNT in  here,  you’ll  be  able  to  change  the  name,  phone number,  email  and  password,  as  well  add  your  birthday  (  in  this  case,  your  characters  birthday  ),  log  out  and  delete  your  account.  the  important  factors  to  retain  from  this  page  is  you  can  choose  to  create  your  account  with  only  your  phone  number  or  only  your  email   — you  don’t  need  both;  if  you  happen  to  change  the  name  of  the  account,  you  can’t  change  it  back  for  60  days,  so  be  careful  with  mistakes  or  if  you  really  want  to  change  it;  and  it’s  not  mandatory  to  put  your  birthday.
1.2. SETTINGS the  settings  is  more  of  technical  side  of  your  account:  to  allow  notifications  on  your  email,  to  silence  notifications  of  certain  groups  and  so  on.  the  most  important  feature  here  is  the  feed preferences  one.  most  rps  will  ask  you  right  off  the  bat  to  go  to  your  settings  and  enable  new  posts  to  appear  first  on  your  feed,  and  not  the  recently  commented  ones.  this  will  help  on  activity  and  everyone  feeling  included.  mewe  is  formatted  to  have  the  recently  commented posts  appear  first  on  your  feed,  so  feel  free  to  change  it  there.
1.3. MY  PROFILE so  this  is  what  everyone  else  will  see.  i’ll  put  below  the  the  options  and  explain  what’s  usually  done.

1.4. CONTACTS where you’ll find everyone you follow. make sure to keep up with the following and unfollowing groups ( i’ll talk about it in a minute ), but also with the admin accounts. a trick: to make sure you have the same contacts as the admin account, go to their profile, click their contacts and it will appear on top suggest contacts. if there is any contact to suggest, it’s a contact you, as the player, need to delete.
2. NOTIFICATIONS
this part is very easy. whenever someone comments on your post, mentions your name in one of the messages, accepts your friend request, answers a private post or invites you to a group, it will show up here. the ideal is to always answer comments and things alike, but it’s up to you ( i advise you to, though ).
3. THE MESSAGES
your private messages, although, the groups you’re in also have their own chats. beginning with the group chats, you can socialize with everyone at the same time. if you don’t feel comfortable doing that, it usually isn’t mandatory. you can also silence these chats without silencing the notifications. first, you get inside the chat. on mobile, you’ll have three dots on your top right corner and clicking on it, it will appear several options. you just have to click hide chat and it will not bother you again unless you go to the actual group and click the message icon on the header. on the browser, it’s getting inside the chat and click info, and proceed to the hide chat as well.
now, you may be wondering — so okay nochu, messages are treated like messages. so how do we write interactions face to face? i’m glad you ask, my friend.
on mobile: inside the chat with the person you want to interact face to face with, the same three dots on the right upper corner have an option named post or private post. by clicking that, you’ll be redirected to another blank page. this blank page will be filled with previous different threads as you keep interacting with that person, but since it’s your first time, there will be a pencil icon on the left bottom corner. click it and it will appear the options of gif, camera, photos, poll and text. choose the text one and write away! only the person you’re interacting with will see it
on the browser: it depends. if you have the whole chat page open, under the typing box you have a list of icons. just click the third counting from your left. if you’re in the main feed and open only the chatbox, you’ll find a + next to the typing box; click it and the same options that appear on mobile will appear here. click the text one and start typing!
if for some reason you want to delete the chats, just click on the info button or the three dots and the option will appear.
4. THE DOTS CONNECTED
so your groups will appear here. when accepted to roleplay, the admin will add you to the groups ( check your notifications and accept every single one of them ). by clicking the icon of the group, there will appear the posts related to that group ( if it’s an ooc group, certainly the ooc posts will appear below ). it now depends on what type of groups the roleplay has, but some that are usual amongst them are the following and removals, ooc, nsfw and announcements.
FOLLOWING AND REMOVALS: very important to keep up with to make sure who’s still in the roleplay and who’s out. it’s the same with tumblr and twitter roleplay
OOC: usually rpers will interact more ooc here. usually, there’s a pinned post by the admin that has a hiatus template. even if you filled it, make sure to message the admin account too ( just a piece of advice )
NSFW: this group is designed to characters post only dirty pictures. aside from the private posts, you’re only allowed to post nsfw content in this group
ANNOUNCEMENTS: i’ve seen roleplays use this group to perform their activity checks too. but this group is basically formed for the admin to make announcements and make sure everyone reads it
in any circumstance, you can leave any of the groups while in the roleplay. if you choose to leave, please warn the admin account, unfriend everyone and then, yes, proceed to leave the groups. on mobile, click on the group, then on the info icon on the top right side of the page and you’ll have a button leave group. clean and easy.
5. THE MAIN FEED
here is where you’ll be able to post your social media updates and see of the people you friended too. make sure to put emojis on everyone’s post ( limit of 4 emojis ) and try to comment on everyone. this will provide inclusion of everyone. you can post pictures, memes, gifs, videos, texts and so on. on mobile, the same pencil icon will appear on the right bottom side of the page. just click on it and start creating your post. on the browser, there is a typing box on the top of the page, with the fading inscription of tell your contacts what’s happening. just start creating from there !
6. EXTRAS
SNS: the twitter handle if you will. use them on the main feed when posting like you’re posting on social media
ACTIVITY CHECKS: each roleplay have their own thing. some do bi-weekly checks, other have weekly checks. normally, to pass the activity checks, you’ll have to interact by commenting on other people’s posts. usually more than two and very well, on some introduction. it’s pretty easy, even if you’re usually busy and unable to go on the computer
HIATUS AND SEMI-HIATUS: usually the full-hiatus will last 10 days. it depends from roleplay to roleplay but basically, it will allow you to skip one activity check
DON’T BE AFRAID TO TALK TO THE ADMINS. they might be scary but best believe
DON’T JUST DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT. if you intend to leave, please let the admins know. don’t be rude. it’s harder to keep up in mewe than on tumblr or twitter. don’t make the admins job harder than it is
these are the basis to mewe rp. if there are any questions or doubts about it, please let me know. if you need a part 2 about, also let me know. my messages are always open.

5 Ways on How to Delete the Facebook Account
Tumblr media
The basic difference between deleting and deactivating your Facebook account is that you can always reactivate it later if you deactivate it, but if you delete your Facebook account permanently, your Facebook account will be permanently removed from the Facebook directory, including all of your photos, posts, links, comments, and so on. If you’re concerned about your online privacy or simply want to disconnect from social media, there are two ways to do so: You can choose to deactivate your account temporarily or permanently. This is how to delete the facebook account.
These are the steps to deactivate your Facebook account
1. Click on your account in the upper right corner of Facebook.
2. Go to Settings and Privacy, then Settings & Security.
3. Click on Your Facebook Information. If you have access to a Facebook page and are using the new Pages experience, click Privacy, then Your Facebook Information.
4. Click Deactivation and Deletion to deactivate.
5. Deactivate your account by clicking Continue to Account Deactivation after selecting the option.
Here’s how to delete your facebook account
1. Click on your account in the upper right corner of Facebook.
2. Choose Settings and Privacy, then Settings.
3. Click Your Facebook Information. If you have access to a Facebook page and are using the new Pages experience, click Privacy, then Your Facebook Information.
4. Select Deactivation and Deletion.
5. Select Delete to proceed to Account Deletion.
6. Enter your password to delete your account and click the Delete Account button.
Given above is how you can delete your account from facebook if you are looking for facebook how to delete account.
Before deleting your account
1. Make a backup of your data if you want a copy.
2. Remove the app’s permissions.
3. Remove all Facebook apps from your devices.
4. Consider writing a deletion epitaph to inform friends of your death.
5. Removing permissions makes it clear which apps use your Facebook account. These can then be fixed to prevent future access problems.
The procedure for deleting a Facebook account
For one month, your account will be ‘deactivated’, and then it will be permanently deleted. This answers your question of how do you delete from facebook. You have plenty of time to reconsider. Unless you want to cancel the deletion request, do not sign in to your account during this time. Don’t be duped into submitting a deactivation request. Deactivation does not imply deletion.
What happens to your information?
It is said that deleting your account deletes all of your Facebook data. In reality, it takes about 90 days. Your data may never truly be deleted. If you want a copy, backup your data before deleting it. Remove any sensitive content you may have posted. Inform your friends about the content you want to be removed.
Your Facebook archives contain nearly all the relevant information about your account, such as photos, active sessions, chat history, IP addresses, facial recognition data, and which ads you clicked, for example. That’s a lot of personal information you should probably keep on hand.
This is how to download your archive:
1. Click the down arrow in the up-right corner.
2. Navigate to Settings and Privacy > Settings.
3. Select Your Facebook Information from the left-hand column.
4. Locate and click on Download Your Information in the center.
5. You have arrived at the Downloads page. You can choose which information to download. There are drop-down lists near the top of the page, under Select file options, that allow you to create a date range and select high, medium, or low media quality.
When you’re finished, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the Request a download button. When your file is ready, you will be notified via email, and it will be available for a few days.
The company notes that termination is delayed for a few days after it is requested. If you return to the site during that time, your deletion request will be canceled. So don’t sign up or you’ll be forced to restart the process. Certain things, such as comments you left on a friend’s post, may remain visible even after you delete your account.

Of Castles And Storm Clouds
Summary: Soulmate AU, Roman wakes up one day to find that the marking on his wrist that once represented his soulmate is gone. His soulmate is dead. As his world comes crashing down, he meets Virgil, who understands the feelings all too well. Mutual feelings of loss and betrayal, along with a heavy dose of shared darkness, brings them together. Can they believe in second chances?
TW: Suicide mention, slight self harm I guess but not really?
A/N: This is technically a first draft, so it’s a bit rough. But it’s been so long since I’ve written anything that I really wanted to post this anyway. Chances are I’ll never take the time to clean it up since I’m very busy with school, but I hope you all enjoy it despite the errors!
For as long as he could remember, Roman had the image of a regal castle on his back, like a tattoo. The castle was by the water, with a blazing sun above it. He loved it, but even more than that, he loved knowing that the same image was on the underneath side of someone’s left wrist–his soulmate, the one that had a beautiful rose on their back. He knew the pattern well, running his fingers over the small one on his own wrist every day. When he woke up, he would trace the lines and wish his person a good morning, and before going to bed he would wish them a good night, wherever they were.
He would lose himself in dreams of the day he would meet them. While some people would hide their tattoos out of nervousness, he made sure that his was always on display, waving his hands around wildly during conversation in hopes that someone would recognize that beautiful rose. He was ready for his love to find him, and he grew up making elaborate plans to make them happy.
He never thought it would happen to him.
Morning came and he looked down at his wrist to find the rose had vanished. His heart pounded, rubbing his fingers vigorously over where it had been. He knew instantly what it meant. He felt his hopes and dreams shatter inside of him. All of the love he had been waiting for was destroyed in a moment. He held his wrist close to his chest and rolled over and cried into his pillow until he couldn’t cry anymore. His soulmate was dead, before he even got the chance to meet them.
Two days passed before he finally got out of bed, only drawn out by the need to eat. He didn’t look up any more than he had to, feeling truly alone for the first time in his empty apartment. He tried to keep the dreams out of his head, dreams of his soulmate moving in, adding their own little touches to the place, dreams of them falling asleep on the couch together watching cheesy romance movies, dreams of them being happy together and making this place a home.
Once he had gotten up, he couldn’t stop his mind from racing to the same thought over and over. What happened? How did they die? Who were they? He knew where the answers would be. A horrible website that he never thought he would have to use. Soul Reaper. Even the name was horrifying. He tried to keep himself from doing it, but he couldn’t ignore the thought anymore. He had to know.
He pulled out his laptop and climbed back into bed, opening the website. In the corner, a little grim reaper mocked him. This website was truly the lowest of the low. Even so, he made an account and entered his card information, cringing as he clicked the button that would take twenty five dollars out of his account. How could anyone justify making money off of this? He clicked on the search bar and typed “rose”. Several images popped up, close up pictures of pale backs that he knew belonged to the dead. He scrolled through different roses, hoping that he wouldn’t see the one he recognized, hoping it was all a mistake. His stomach sank when he saw it.
There, right in front of him on the screen, was the red, beautiful rose that he knew. The rose that he had whispered dreams and stories to. The rose that he had wished wonderful things to everyday. His mouse shook as he clicked on the image. Several pictures came up, stolen shamelessly from social media websites, and Roman felt a sob rise up in his throat. That was him. He was beautiful. His name was Devon. He looked tall and slim, with dark blonde hair. He was a writer. Tears streamed down Roman’s face as he read everything he could find about the boy that he never got to meet. Then he scrolled to the bottom of the page and saw something that made his heart break completely.
Cause of death: Suicide.
He slammed his laptop shut and shoved it away from him, throwing himself out of bed. He paced around his apartment, slamming his fist on his thigh over and over again as he walked. Rage flooded through him. How could he do this to him? How could he leave him before they ever met? Roman had sent him nothing but love, and this is what he got in return? Tears stung his eyes and dripped from his chin. His thigh ached with pain from the repeated abuse. They hadn’t even met yet. Things could have been better. Whatever had been so bad in his life, surely knowing that they would meet some day would make it better. How could this happen? It had to be a mistake.
But it wasn’t a mistake and he knew it. He could feel it.
He sunk to the floor in the middle of his living room and wrapped his arms around his sides. It wasn’t fair. How could he do this? None of this was fair. His chest ached from crying so hard. His throat burned. He was alone. Really, truly alone. Could he handle that?
He had spent all of his life waiting for the day that they would meet, for the day that everything that he had waited and longed for would come true, the day that he would get his happy ending. Could he do it on his own? He was completely alone. He hadn’t bothered to make many close friends. They had never been the one he was looking for. He hadn’t kept in touch with family. He had nothing, nothing but this stranger that he had never, and never would meet.
For a moment, just a short, dark moment, he thought of joining him. He had spent so long waiting for this person that the thought of never finding him would be unbearable. He thought of ending it right then and there. There was a number of ways that he could do it. No one would come looking for him. It would be so easy. But it was only a short moment, a moment that hurt more than he thought it could. Just the thought alone weighed him down. He had sunk to the bottom in mere days.
He was too afraid to die.
He had to pull himself together and he knew it. When did he shower last? He had never let himself go like this before. When you could meet your soulmate at any moment, you always have to be presentable. But now that wasn’t an issue. Was there even a point? He had no one to impress now. It was easy to fall into that line of thinking, but he had made a decision. He needed to get help. He was too afraid to die and he was too afraid to keep going like this. And there was no way that he was going to be seeing anyone in his current state.
It took hours for him to finally motivate himself to get off of the couch where he had parked himself after forcing down breakfast. He stood in front of the bathroom mirror, staring at himself. He looked disgusting. His hair was a greasy mess, parts of it glued to his forehead and others sticking straight out in all directions. His skin had a shine to it that made him feel sick. He had never once seen himself so disheveled.
He pulled his shirt over his head and immediately froze with his arms still caught in the sleeves. Would it still be there? The mark that defined him, the beautiful castle that was painted on his back, would it have disappeared with the rose on his wrist? If he didn’t have a soulmate anymore, surely there was no need for such a marking. He stood there, half tangled in the fabric of his shirt, wide eyes staring back at him from the cold glass. Everything was frozen, his own breathing echoing loudly in his ears, until suddenly the stillness shattered. He pulled the shirt off of his arms the rest of the way, tossing it to the floor. He turned and looked over his shoulder into the mirror.
Relief washed over him for a moment. It was still there. Then he realized that it was different, and nausea churned in his stomach. It had changed. The castle, his castle, was still there, but the sky above it was different. Storm clouds had infiltrated the once clean sky. He was tainted. The darkness that he felt bloom inside of him was there to stay. It defined a part of him now. He was a different person now.
It took a few days for him to get the courage to join a group for people like him, people that had lost their soulmates. But now, he is standing outside of an old building that looks like it had been abandoned a long time ago, but apparently not. A laminated piece of neon green paper is taped to the door, advertising the group. This is the right place. Roman sighs, suddenly hyper aware of the feeling of his shirt sleeve against the blank skin of his wrist. The other people there would have bare wrists too, but even so, he feels self conscious. He had never been a nervous person, but then again, he feels like a completely different person now anyway.
He sighs and finally pulls open the door. The building is creepy and dark, fluorescent lights flicker overhead. How can they hold a meeting for hurting people in a place like this? Small groups of people are huddled together around the edges of the room, seeming to avoid the circle of chairs until the last moment, except for one boy. He has sunk into his chair, legs sprawled forward and his arms crossed tightly against his chest. His hood is pulled up and fading purple bangs fall over his eyes, lined heavily with black eye shadow beneath them. He is watching everyone in the room from behind his bangs, as if he is a ghost and no one can truly see him. They make eye contact and Roman feels heat rise in his face. Neither one of them look away for a long moment. There is an energy between them that Roman has never felt before, something dark and burning.
Roman startles when a woman claps loudly from the front of the room, motioning for everyone to take their seats. The room seems to brighten as the feeling between them breaks. Roman collects himself and settles into the only available seat left, directly across from the mysterious boy, who pulls his hood down to reveal a large pair of headphones, which he doesn’t remove.
The meeting lacks structure. Anyone is allowed to speak if they want to, but no one is forced. Roman doesn’t say a word, listening instead to the stories of the other people. He keeps being drawn back in to stare at the boy across from him. His eyes are intense, flicking back and forth between the people around him. Roman wonders if he has music playing or if it’s just to keep people from talking to him. Someone stumbles through a prepared speech about how it’s so hard to lose the one that we love so soon and the boy rolls his eyes and sinks lower into his chair. He stares at Roman again. There is anger there, he can feel it, so similar to his own. He doesn’t have to ask to know that they are experiencing the same thing, more than anyone else in the room. The anger of not losing someone, but having them taken away by their own choice. Betrayal.
The meeting ends sooner than Roman had expected, and he realizes that they had been staring at each other for longer than he thought. Something had been shared between them, something deeper than the half hearted “I’m sorry for your loss” phrase that seemed to echo in this room. The boy stands abruptly as soon as the leader says that she hopes to see everyone next week, and Roman notes that he had been listening after all. With one last glance at Roman, he rushes out the back door. Roman can’t help but follow.
He pushes the door harder than he needs to, sending it flying open. He is met with the boy’s surprised face as he looks up from his phone. Roman freezes and the door hits the back of his heel.
“Wrong door,” he mutters, going back to his phone. He’s leaning against the brick wall, texting.
“I don’t think so.” He steps out of the way of the door and lets it click shut behind him.
The boy smirks, “yeah well that door locks. So you’re stuck out here now.”
“Oh.” Roman pauses for a moment, not really sure what he’s even doing out here. “Why were you staring at me?”
He watches the boy tuck his phone into the back pocket of his jeans and cross his arms again. “I’m pretty sure you were the one staring at me.”
“Maybe.” And there it is again, that magnetic feeling. Some darkness shared between the two of them, something familiar and scary, but intensely attractive. Roman takes a step forward. “But you definitely stared back.”
“Maybe.” Honey brown eyes shift in front of him, somehow closer than Roman had realized, and suddenly he can’t help himself. Their lips meet in an instant, before either of them know what is happening.
Roman’s mind is reeling. He feels like he’s in two places at once. On one end, he is so zeroed in on this moment. Sure, he had kissed people before, moments of lust that he called “practice” for when he met his soulmate, but he had always felt bad about it. This feels free, but it also feels like revenge. It feels bitter and angry and full of so many things. But on the other hand, he feels lost in his own head. Who is this boy? Does he even care? He has only known him for about a minute, but he knows that there’s something that churned in his stomach when he heard his voice, and something that pricks at his skin when those eyes meet his own. There are teeth biting at his lip and it hurts but it’s good, and his palms scrape against the roughness of the brick on either side of the other’s head.
Roman pushes forward more, feeling sharp hip bones against his own when a beep comes from the boy’s back pocket and the body against his suddenly stiffens. Roman pulls away, shocked and suddenly flooded with nerves. He desperately wants those eyes to meet his again, but they don’t.
“I have to go,” the boy says, turning to leave. Something stops him and he stands frozen for a moment before abruptly turning and grabbing Roman’s right hand. He pulls a thick, black sharpie from the pocket of his hoodie and roughly pulls up Roman’s sleeve. He begins writing his phone number in large, jagged font and Roman feels his heart pounding in his chest. He stares down at the hand that is writing on his skin, the left hand. His eyes travel to his wrist. It’s  covered by a checkered wristband, but Roman knows that beneath it is nothing. Blank skin. Suddenly the hand pulls away and the boy runs down the alleyway, leaving Roman alone.
He sighs and lets himself fall against the wall that he had someone pushed against just moments ago. Someone he doesn’t even know the name of. He pulls up his sleeve that had fallen and he sees, written above the numbers, the name Virgil. “Huh.”
He stays there for a few minutes before finally pushing himself off the wall and trying the door. Just as Virgil had said, it’s locked. Roman tucks his hands in the pockets of his jeans and makes his way down the alley, hoping that the path back to his car wouldn’t be too terribly confusing.
Roman twirls his phone in his hand. He’s been doing this for the past half hour, trying to decide if he should call, or text, or wait until tomorrow, or longer, or not at all. None of this is what he was planning. He was so sure that everything would work out magically, he and his soulmate would fall in love quickly and instantly have a life together. Simple. This is nothing close to simple.
Somehow he had found himself kissing a stranger in an alley and not feeling bad about it in the slightest. Somehow he had this twisted excitement in his chest, something between knowing that he was free to do whatever the hell he wants and feeling like he was doing all the wrong things in all the best ways. Finally he decides on a text. There are no rules to how soon you can text someone after something like this, right? He was never exactly patient anyway.
R: Well that was an interesting meeting. I’m Roman, by the way.
After a few minutes, he notices that the text had been read, but not replied to. He frowns and leans back against his headboard. It takes a few more minutes for his phone to beep and he scrambles to pick it up.
V: Hey.
“Hey?” Roman questions aloud. “That’s it?”
He is trying to think of a reply when his phone beeps again.
V: Sorry… about all of that. I don’t usually do that kind of thing.
R: I didn’t mind.
V: Ha, obviously.
R: Obviously?
V: Yes, obviously.
Roman groans. Talking to Virgil is like running around in circles, but he doesn’t want it to stop.
R: I wouldn’t mind doing it again.
The text is marked as read again, and Roman’s heart pounds as he waits for a response.
V: You’re very forward.
R: Is that a bad thing?
V: I haven’t decided yet.
Roman is lost for words. This boy is definitely not an open book. His phone beeps again.
V: Text me tomorrow and I’ll tell you.
R: I’ll await tomorrow then. Good night, Virgil.
V: Night.
He drops his phone on the pillow beside him, still unsure of what is happening. Is there even a point to this? Obviously this isn’t going to work out. They aren’t soulmates. Nothing like this will ever work out for him. It’s a lost cause. So why is he doing this? Why is he chasing this feeling? Somewhere deep down inside he knows that this is just him acting out. He just wants to feel something and this stranger was the first one to properly look at him. His phone beeps again and all of the questions get pushed out of his mind and are replaced with the need for something to make him feel alive.
V: Or you could come over.
Roman barely has time to read it before another text comes in.
V: Or not. Whatever.
R: An impromptu rendezvous?
V: Uh, sure. That.
R: I like the sound of that.
Before he knows it, Roman is in his car again, following his GPS to a place only a few miles away. He keeps pushing away the thoughts that ask him what he’s doing and why. He doesn’t want to listen to them. He can be reckless. Who cares? He can chase this feeling if he wants to, it’s the most alive he has felt since the moment his mark disappeared. Maybe he would feel bad if he couldn’t feel the same darkness coming from Virgil, if he was doing this with someone who was actually interested in him instead of just someone who also wanted to get out some aggression, and maybe wanted to feel alive as well.
Then he’s at the door and he’s knocking and he isn’t so sure anymore. People always call him charming, but he’s never done something like this before and he has no idea what he’s supposed to do. But when the door opens and those eyes are staring at him again it doesn’t matter to either of them. Suddenly hands are in his hair and the door is closing and they’re stumbling but they don’t care. Somehow they’re falling onto a couch and he has the other boy’s hair tickling his face but he lets it happen. There are cold fingers on his hips and lips against his neck and everything feels so good, but there’s something. Something ticking in the back of his mind, a countdown to how much is too much and how long this can go on before someone questions it. Because they aren’t soulmates. This isn’t supposed to happen. This is wrong but it feels so good and they don’t really care. Yet.
The intensity grows and so does the volume of that ticking sound until suddenly the timer hits zero for both of them. They pull away from each other, wide eyed and panting. Somehow Virgil had climbed off and backed away from the couch in milliseconds, bumping into the coffee table behind him and stumbling before recovering. He hides his face in his hands and starts pacing back and forth, muttering “I’m sorry” a few times before sinking down to the floor on the other end of the room. His knees are pulled to his chest and his arms hang off of them. He looks exasperated. He huffs and his bangs fly up for a second before falling back down to cover his eyes. He doesn’t move them.
Silence stretches on, neither of them sure what to say. Roman sits up and looks around the room, feeling his pounding heart start to slow. It’s messy in that half cleaned for company kind of way. CDs are haphazardly piled on the counter and some records are strewn across the coffee table. He notices the headphones that he had been wearing earlier are hanging on a hook by the door, he clearly takes them everywhere. Music is everywhere in the apartment, even some sheet music, though he doesn’t see any instruments anywhere, maybe in the bedroom. The bedroom, where they could have been headed next, where the night had intended for them to end up. But he’s glad that they aren’t there. He doesn’t really want that, he’s realized, and from the look of him, neither does Virgil.
“So… you like music,” Roman states. The breathy laugh that comes from across the room makes it all worth it and he finds himself laughing too. The tension has broken, and once again they’re just people, without that weirdly dark pull that they both feel.
“Yeah, I do. I’m sorry… again. You know, for all of this.” Virgil lets his legs stretch out and crosses his arms, and Roman notices that he isn’t wearing his hoodie from earlier. He is wearing a short sleeved black t shirt, revealing drawings that cover his entire right arm. So that’s why he keeps a sharpie in his pocket.
“Well I’m pretty sure you’re not the only one participating, so it’s not your fault. Don’t be sorry.”
“Pretty sure?”
“Yes, pretty sure.” Roman flashes him a smile, referring back to their earlier texts.
“Whatever.” Virgil shakes his head and anxiously rubs circles on the back of his neck.
“You look like something’s on your mind.”
“Something’s always on my mind.” For a moment Roman thinks that’s all that he’ll get out of the mysterious stranger that he’s only ever made out with and never properly talked to, but then he sighs and lets it all spill out. “You know what? Just fuck this whole soulmate thing. I’m so over it.”
Roman watches as he stands and starts pacing the room again.
“They can’t be your soulmate if they just give up and leave you, can they? That is so stupid. That’s unfair. Whatever cruel part of the universe decided that that’s what would happen clearly hates me. What did I ever do? I mean I know I suck sometimes and I’m an anxious mess all of the time but I don’t think I deserve that.” He aggressively rubs his hands over his face and groans. “Maybe I do. I don’t know. I just… I wanted that. The whole soulmate thing. Is that stupid?”
Roman shakes his head slowly. He hates seeing the hurt in those eyes. He hates how similar it is to his own. “It’s not stupid. I wanted it too.”
Virgil sinks down onto the couch next to him, staring down at his hands and picking at the skin around his nails. “I thought about it, you know. After I learned what had happened to him.”
Roman didn’t have to ask what he meant. “So did I.”
Silence hangs heavy in the air once more, but this time is different. The energy that passed between them now floating in the air around them, out in the open for both of them to see.
“Fuck soulmates,” Virgil says again, anger building in his voice. “Fuck them. Fuck the people who give up and leave. Fuck the universe. Fuck it. Just fuck it, fuck it, fuck it.”
He’s shaking, filled with rage and hurt and so much sadness. Roman feels it too. It’s the same feelings building up in him, but hearing them voiced out loud gives him another idea. “You’re right.”
Virgil looks up, confused.
“Fuck it. The universe or whatever doesn’t get to decide for us. We get to decide. It’s our lives. Get me that sharpie.”
“What?”
“Just get it. You’ll see.” Roman is filled with determination now. He can change it. He doesn’t have to let his dreams die just because one person he never met did. Virgil stands and grabs the sharpie from the pocket of his hoodie that was hanging on the back of a chair. Roman takes it and takes Virgil’s left wrist in his hand. “May I?”
Virgil hesitates for a moment before nodding slowly.
Roman gently takes the wristband off and turns his hand over to reveal the blank canvas on his wrist. He takes the sharpie and begins to draw the castle that he knows by heart. “We can choose what our destiny, fate, or whatever is. We can decide. Maybe just for a day, maybe for longer. We meet people for a reason, it doesn’t have to be one person that’s our soulmate. I’m here with you because I was meant to be. Maybe just for tonight…” He pauses, questioning two different things. Does he draw the sunny landscapes of his past, or does he reveal the stormy skies that hang over his castle now? And does he want this thing between him and Virgil to last, or to fade away as a strange learning experience? But he shakes his head. He knows the answer to that already. He begins drawing the dark clouds. “…or maybe something more permanent. I don’t know. But for right now, for tonight and for however long we want it, we can be soulmates. Because we choose. Not some mysterious being in the sky or something.”
He puts the cap back on the sharpie and watches as Virgil stares down on it, his face an unreadable mixture of things. Maybe he had overstepped. He knows how important the image that was once on his wrist once was, and by replacing it, maybe he had ruined something special. But then Virgil rips the pen from his hands and sets to work drawing on Roman’s wrist. His lines are jagged and he’s pressing harder than he should. Roman watches in shock as the image is revealed, suddenly understanding the expression that had been on Virgil’s face just moments before. There, appearing on his wrist, is a storm cloud identical to the one that hung above Roman’s castle.
“No, that can’t be right.” Roman mumbles to himself as Virgil sets the pen down.
“That’s mine. I’ll show you, if you want…”
Roman nods, watching as Virgil pulls his shirt over his head and turns around, revealing the storm cloud and lightning bolt that was now scrawled on his wrist in permanent marker. Just a bit ago this would have been filled with sexual tension. He would have been focused on the soft skin and the muscles beneath it, and probably wouldn’t have even paid enough attention to notice the thick lines and simple design in front of him. But now, he reaches forward, glancing up to make eye contact with Virgil before laying his fingers on the skin of his back. He traces the looping lines of clouds down to the sharp edges of a lightning bolt. While the lines on Roman’s own back were thin and intricate, these were bold and dark.
He reluctantly pulls his fingers away and Virgil turns toward him, those honey brown eyes blinking at him expectantly. Roman pulls off his own shirt, remembering when he first discovered the change in his mark. The air then had been thick with fear, but now it was filled with quiet curiosity and mutual wonder. He turns away and closes his eyes, feeling cold fingers lightly brush against his back. No one had ever touched it before, and the intimacy of the moment makes his entire body flood with heat.
A quiet voice breaks through the silence, “has yours always been like this?”
Roman shook his head before elaborating. “No, it used to be clear skies and sunshine.”
Virgil hums, a low rumbling sound that vibrates in Roman’s ears. “Mine used to be the night sky. The moon, stars, all of that. I didn’t know they could change.”
Roman hums now, turning back towards the other boy, feeling those cold fingers brush along his side as he does so. They pull away immediately. The question lingers between them, but neither one knows how to ask it. Neither of them is ready. What does all of this mean? Roman had never heard of the markings changing before, let alone to something that matched another person.
Could it be that maybe, just maybe, the universe had given them a second chance? No. He couldn’t get his hopes up for that.
Virgil is staring at his hands, picking at the skin around his thumbnail. Roman pulls his shirt back on. The night had taken such a turn. He isn’t sure if he should stay or go, none of this is what they had planned. Well, not that the plan had been much of a plan in the first place.
“Stay.” Virgil blurts out, not looking up from his hands. “Please. Not for… that. Just, stay. If you want to.”
Roman nods. “Yeah, sure.”
Virgil stands and pulls his own shirt back on, disappearing into the bedroom. Roman taps his fingers against his leg and looks around, figuring that the sudden departure was the closest thing to a “good night” that he was going to get, but Virgil returns with a large comforter dragging behind him and two pillows tucked under his arm. He tosses one at Roman and the other on the opposite side of the couch, dropping the blanket on the floor in front of him. “Uh, light on or off?”
Roman grins, “you know, I was really expecting that question under different circumstances.”
“Oh my god, shut up.” Virgil clicks the light off and curls up on the couch, draping the blanket over both of them.
In the darkness, Roman suddenly feels fear creeping up from the depths of himself. He wants to say it. He always said it. But he isn’t sure what it would mean this time. Every night for as long as he could remember, he would close his eyes and whisper it to the mark on his wrist, and every night he would be met with silence, but hope. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, letting his fingertips brush along the mark that he couldn’t see, but knew was there, scrawled on his skin in thick, black Sharpie. “Good night, sweet dreams.”
There is silence for a moment, but then Virgil’s voice quietly responds, “Yeah, good night.”
Still, there is hope.
Roman had always believed in happy endings, but he had never really thought about second chances. As the days went on, the idea of them bounced around in his mind. When he awoke next to a sleeping boy who had shifted and pressed himself up against Roman’s side at some point during the night. When neither of them wanted to leave the other, and breakfast became a thing that morphed into lunch, and then dinner, and another night together. Another night with less passion and more quiet curiosity. Another night of understanding each other more than they thought anyone could. Second chances, when Roman looked down at his wrist a week later and realized that the marking hadn’t even faded a little. When he looked again a month later and those thick lines still stood out against his skin. When he asked Virgil about it and the mark that he had drawn was still there too. When they both realized that they really had decided. Soulmates by choice.
Second chances at life and love, with the beautiful images of castles and storm clouds.
