I can’t stop thinking about a fanfic idea where Mickey does 8 years in prison after season 5 as planned, and when he gets out he moves to whatever city Svetlana and Yev live in, determined to move on with his life.

And then 8 years later when Yev is like 17, they’re all back in Chicago for a few days because Yevs got a big soccer game or something for school. Anyway they lose the game. So afterwards, him & his friends sneak out of the hotel and end up getting into a fight with the other team and one of them gets injured so an ambulance is called.

And Yevgeny isn’t hurt or anything, just a black eye and bruised knuckles. So he can’t figure out why the red headed paramedic keeps looking at him like the guy has seen a ghost.

But then, his mom and dad arrive, ready to cuss him out for being so stupid. And Yev notices his dad and the paramedic look at each other with that same stricken expression that the red head was wearing earlier, and he starts to piece it together.

And so 16 years after Ian and Mickey’s break-up, Yevgeny meets his dad’s first love and gets to witness their long road back to each other.

I am kind of confused about posts that agree with Kipperlily, especially ones that talk about her being an NPC and it being inescapable.

Even if we cut off the bad kids slowly as being Built for being PCs during the start of their freshman years, Fabian with his dad, Kristen being the chosen of helio, Fig being related to gorthalax, and then further down with Riz learning his dad was killed, and Adaine being the elven oracle, but we're still left with,,, Gorgug.

Gorgug who the most interesting thing in his backstory is being adopted, which if that is TOO FAR to be fair, must count more then half of the fucking school in her idea of 'fairness'.

For all intents and purposes, Gorgug SHOULD be an NPC, but since he ran with everyone else when somebody screamed in the cafeteria, and showed up to the get togethers with the other bad kids, and also chased this mystery, he's a PC.

All the achievements Gorgug has gotten, "greatest wizard of this age", CREATING the Barbificer subclass, has been through his own hard work and effort, most of it within the laws of the school! With it working against him! If he doesn't count, if he's too far, then Kipperlily's idea of fairness must be so NICHELY specific to put her over others with perfectly normal lives that chased anything but the easiest smartest option.

Which is fine! It's so interesting and accurate to highschoolers that she has such a childish worldview, and I absolutely love Kipperlily as a character, it is just so confusing to see people argue that she is right to be jealous about a kid's dad dying when he was NINE because it'd make him have to work 10x as hard? When she could go out and find her own adventure with her friends like the seven did?

Oh my god my fellow psych majors need to pull their heads out of their asses

Being a psych major is not the same as being a professional in the psych field. You are still studying to be one, you do not have your degree yet.

Being a psych major does not mean you know as much as, let alone better than, the actual professionals.

Being a psych major does not mean you are a specialist who is an authority on any specific disorder. Hell, having a degree does not even mean that. Unless you are an actual specialist, you do not know better than the people who specialize in that disorder.

Being a psych major does not make you an authority on what people have going on in their brains. You are not a professional yet.

Being a psych major does not mean you are automatically right on anything psychology related. There is a reason you do not have a degree yet.

Psych majors cannot determine who has what disorders. You are not licensed to make a diagnosis, because you are still a student, not a professional.

You cannot know what is going on in a strangers brain just because you major in psych. Even licensed professionals cannot do that. No matter how long they studied, or have been working in psych. There is a reason the diagnostic process for most disorders takes so long. So you, as someone who does not even have a degree yet, definitely cannot make that call where professionals cannot.

And, most importantly, being a psych major does NOT give you a free pass to be an asshole to mentally ill people. In fact, the opposite, really. People like them are the exact type of person you will be treating once you get your degree. Mentally ill people like that entrust psych professionals with their wellbeing. If you cannot be decent to mentally ill people that you do not even know, you should not be treating their mental health.

I've got this headcanon that Chris used to be a counselor at Hackett's Quarry and Dylan used to idolize him when he was a kid (he may or may not have been Dylan's first crush).

And a few months after the whole werewolf thing he runs into Chris randomly and after catching up he's like "yeah, they shut down Hackett's Quarry because of some weird stuff..." You know, all evasive like.

And when Chris hints at also knowing crazy they both end up spilling their weird secrets and that's how Chris finds out werewolves are real and Dylan finds out wendigos are real.

can we talk about gansey knowing he’s going to die???? bc there are so many angles on it. he never guilts ronan or any of his friends about it, there is no ‘for when i’m not around to sort out your messes speech’. he doesn’t assign any responsibility to anyone. there is no talk about taking care of ronan. none of his friends are tasked with sorting through his things. it could be argued that some of this is because of his security in his friends and their growth as people allowing them to care for one another but he doesn’t talk about it at all. he doesn’t even tell ronan. i don’t remember if he knows adam knows but i don’t think he does. for the entire series he’s accommodating the emotions and struggles and outbursts of everyone around him and when it comes to his death, he simply continues. he doesn’t trouble his friends who have their own problems or who may be upset by his oncoming death and just continues as he was.

got stranded in town last night bc of the bank holiday night outs and ended up at my friend’s older brothers art studio listening to house music and drinking non-alcoholic beer while waiting for bus. then impulsively did a half a line of crushed up pill right as i was going to leave for the night bus and then got home and fell asleep with my jeans on. woke up this morning and my snot was the color of the pill… have so many deadlines today and im so fragile but i completely brought this upon myself 😭🙏

yknow shout out to Indiana University at Bloomington's hold music. This constant loop of a staticky/distorted FULL-ORCHESTRA COVER OF *BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY* that sounds like it was composed by a sadist makes being on hold actually enjoyable through sheer "wtf" factor.

the "mamma mia" part, and much of Freddie's vocals, are replaced with a trumpet & trombone. a TRUMPET. and TROMBONE. 90% of this is as off-key as possible. there are many points where every single instrument is plays at once, in no particularly organized manner, for a few notes.
