MAN OF THE DAY #76 : KJ APA #4

ANOTHER PROOF THAT KJ APA IS A KING!

I shouldn't have a particular reason to reminds you how much I worship the actor KJ APA, best known for playing Archibald "Archie" Andrews in the tv series RIVERDALE. Handsome, strong, kind, confident, clever, funny, protective, smiling, muscled, stylish but also cool, everything he says or do is exciting in my eyes. 🥵

Recently i discovered this pic and I had to tell what is amazing in it to my opinion.

This picture shows the gorgeous actor KJ Apa, about whom i wrote at least 3 MAN OF THE DAY articles and that i worship a lot! 😍

I don't know where / when this picture was taken. The god KJ Apa is wearing underpants, but that's not the one from the LACOSTE videoclip. Maybe on RIVERDALE's set? I don't recognize the room, but if that's what is happening, then it would be like in the story i wrote about KJ APA!

That also shows well how dominant he is! 😏

On the picture, two guys are kneeling at KJ APA's feet, their head on the same level than his alpha dick. KJ APA's hands are the guys's heads, as if they were his obedient sons or pets. It wasn't the first time KJ Apa shows how superior he is on the set of RIVERDALE.

I just think His Imperial Majesty King KJ Apa wanted to be comfy, and since he is an alpha and the star of the show, Sir Casey Cott hasn't complained. Personally i wouldn't complained at all, i just would have liked to stay there forever because what excites me the most is this kind of humiliation, where the alpha just show how dominant he is without being brutal or yelling at his sub fag.

They took away the fact that he was aromantic!! Im pissed because he was great rep!! Seriously, reading jughead 2015 was such a personal and relatable experience that i havent found often in media because aro people are overlooked all the time and the rep is ignored for shipping purposes and its even worse that it happened here!! Not only did they erase him being ace, which was STATED IN THE TEXT, but they also took away the way that he was intentionally written to be romance and relationship averse and its just infuriating because he did not deserve this!!! I will be honest. I have not watched riverdale and I never will. But in the comics. ESPECIALLY THE JUGHEAD(2015) COMICS. HE IS CANONICALLY AROACE. Honestly you could put ANY character from riverdale in this bracket because the original comics ARE A FUCKING SITCOM!!!! well the special stories (like Jughead(2015)) arent as sitcommy and are no stranger to Things Getting Fucking Weird but they never had shit like DARK FUCKING BETTY! No. Instead they had MORE WHOLESOME storylines, like ARCHIE GETTING SHOT AND DYING. dude unrelated one of my comic books had an ad for that with the cover that had archie lying there drenched in a pretty minimal amount of blood actually and i was sooooo scared of it as a kid. i was flipping throuhg the book the first time and dropped it and RAN CRYING AWAY it was the most graphic thing i had seen in my entire 7 years of life. sorry these comics mean a lot to me. i have over 300 of them <3

Riverdale’s gay gene

Okay so, the riverdale gay gene theory goes something like this: just like the serial killer gene, sexuality is inherited in the riverdale universe, mainly from parents to children, but in some cases (like cheryl and toni) from the most prominent ancestor featured in the show so far (season 6). How does it work? idk, it’s riverdale but my theory is that 1bi/gay parent = 1bi child, and 2bi parents = 1gay or 1bi children.

The Cooper-Smith family: in season 6 Betty is confirmed bisexual and that implies that one of her prominent ancestors is gay, which could point to Bitsy Smith from 06x05. HOWEVER the storyline of Abigail-Poppy-Cheryl being immortal is not within the continuity of season 6, and Bitsy and Betty are not related (also confirmed by Madelaine Petsch). Therefore Betty gets her bisexuality from either her father or her mother, but most likely her mother Alice since she is also the one who gave the serial killer gene to her and Charles, who has the gay gene too. 

The Smith-Jones family: Charles gets either his gay gene from Alice or FP, but (see above) most likely is from Alice or both of them if we go by the theory that 2bi parents are needed to produce 1gay child.

The Jones family: by the 2bi=1gay formula theory, FP is bi (unconfirmed), which makes Jughead bi. Nevertheless, he would remain bi even if we don’t go with the gay formula and FP is not bi, since Gladys aka jugmom is most likely bi because if riverdale writers love something it is metatextuality and references to other media, and what is gina gershon (jugmom) known for? Bound (1996), where she plays a lesbian icon. By metatextuality rules Jugmom is, then, bisexual (also have you seen her? leather jacket and string choker? she is definitely fucking women).

The Andrews family: Mary is a bisexual icon that got straight and gay divorced, that makes Archie bisexual (+all the times he has kissed men??? and all that stuff that he has said that is straight out of the 2003 atlanta-based play archie's weird fantasy?? my boy is bisexual).

The Topaz-Fogarty family: now this confirmed the gay gene theory, since both Toni and Fangs are bisexuals who have a child, baby Anthony, who is confirmed queer (undisclosed whether he is gay or bisexual). And going back in time, Tony’s only on-screen relevant relative is Thomasina, who is also confirmed bisexual (or perhaps lesbian, it is never stated), creating a direct line of the gay gene inheritance from Thomasina to Baby Anthony.

The Blossom family: it’s not confirmed that queen of serving cunt and evil Penelope is queer, although it was implied, BUT it could also be Abigail, Cheryl’s most direct ancestor (aside from Nana Blossom), the one who gave her the witch gene and the lesbian gene.

The Keller family: is Tom bi? perhaps anything is possible in Riverdale, but most likely the evidence points to either his unnamed mom who never even lives with them (like Mary did with Archie’s dad, before she got a divorce to marry a woman). But it’s also possible that gay kevin is just spontaneously gay, which would explain the fact that his whole personality is being gay.

The Mason family: Marcus (Moose’s dad) is most likely gay, but got therapy conversion at the sister’s of quiet mercy, but he could be bisexual and only they only scared away the gay part, and passed on the gene to Moose, who is bisexual.

In conclusion, only in riverdale you get the serial killer gene and the gay gene.

was having a lot of riverdale thoughts so I just put down a basic layout of them. you guys Get It, right? you understand?

I focused on the core five because they are the only ones who bring their own genres to the show, everyone else inhabits their’s depending on who they are usually associated with or in plotlines with (Kevin inhabits Veronica’s usually, sometimes Betty’s murder mystery stuff; Toni inhabits Jughead’s gang story until she’s pulled from that into Cheryl’s gothic story, and in later seasons she bounces between genres when they don’t have just one character to tether her to, while, in a way, upholding the gang story herself once Jughead leaves it) and in a way the cast outside of the core five can be said to inhabit the underlying teen drama more than any of the others because of this. It is of note that Archie is without a really strong main genre or set of genres his story inhabits. There a lot of Ideas with Archie, but he sort of does lack a genre. During the heart of the stuff with Hiram he inhabits the mafia story, but its presence in the show does not belong to him and is not brought about by him. My mother put it that his genre is “Archie Comics” which I think is a part of it, but not the whole thing certainly. I would also note that everybody inhabits the horror and murder mystery genres, it’s simply that horror is mainly tethered to Betty and Cheryl and murder mystery mainly to Jughead and Betty.

note: Many influences are probably left out and the list of teen dramas is literally just a list of the main ones I’ve seen. Though— as @kevin-keller-artistic-director will attest—Dawson’s Creek and Pretty Little Liars are definitely important ones.
