So, GK Danny has been with Batfamkly for a while now. Like, a few years. He's a freshly adulting adult. He loves his family. A lot of crap in DC canon didn't happen and stuff. He is now a part of JL.

He gets a mission from CW to go to an alternate version of his dimension and fix whatever is happening there.

He gets sent into the world where Gotham War is happening. He is DISAPPOINTED and also horrified, to say the least. His dad is way better. B, take him home pls.

But he has a duty to do. So...

"Ladies, gentlemen, and others, we are closing this shit show down for maintenance. Please vacate the premises." A person in the sky announced, grabbed the whole batfamily in reach and swooshed away.

Fic idea- Midoriya decides to solve the murder of the Quirkless scientist who suggested Wave Theory. Turns out that what looked like an act of random bigoted violence digs much deeper.

"So..." Izuku stared at the wall. "Dr. Mathews was murdered not by a random bigot but by someone working with an underground organization trying to hide the fact Quirks will begin to wane."

"...Why?" his friend Denki asked. The guy loved conspiracy theories. When Izuku was asking around the internet for help, Denki jumped in to help, along with his friend Minoru. Minoru was a bit weird, but he wasn't that bad of a guy once Izuku's mom sat him down with a stern talk regarding how he treated women.

(And then there was something about Minoru's dad being arrested that put Izuku's hair on end. Just how it was phrased was... yikes.)

"I mean," Minoru squinted at the wall. "Bigotry isn't like... reasonable."

"Yeah, but you'd think they'd want to stamp out Quirks if they were bigots killing them off," Denki argued. "Before 1955, Quirk holders were murdered by people for being witches or demons or whatever."

"Not always," Izuku said. He stared at one piece of evidence they found. "Titan. That's what the group is called, right?"

"Yeah..." Denki trailed off before he took a sharp breath in. "Minoru-"

"I got it!" the short teen dug through their notes. "The Greek Gods—there's too much evidence they existed if you look at it. So the prevailing theory is they were early Quirk users believed to be Gods."

"And if they existed, so did the Titans," Izuku said grimly. "What if... okay this is going to sound actually crazy..."

"Hit it, can't be crazier than Denki trying to make a smoothie with ketchup."

"Okay, look, tomatoes are fruits."

"Yeah, they don't belong in a smoothie."

"What if the Greek Gods and Titans wanted to remain in power but as they aged... they had to figure a way to keep their power. But their kids didn't have Quirks..." Izuku was slowly putting his thoughts together. "They didn't have Quirks... and they realized they may have to wait for another wave! Or maybe they thought they had to earn them, but anyway, they kept to the shadows and killed off those who had Quirkes they deemed bad."

"And they killed Dr. Mathews because her theory was right, and they wanted it not to be known because they hoped to rig it so that when Quirks stopped being so common, they could keep theirs!" Denki finished.

"I mean, maybe their kids didn't have strong Quirks either, and they all kept Quirks." Minoru posed. "And they deem it like a religious thing?"

"Any option is true," Izuku said. "...Should we tell someone?"

"Who'd believe thirteen-year-olds?" Denki snorted.

Izuku had to nod.

They had evidence, but only a wild theory. They needed more.

And they would get it.

I'm thinking about Caleb seeing Orym again, seeing that darkness in Orym's eyes that wasn't there before, the willingness to do what needs to be done because this is War. I think about Caleb not seeing Orym but seeing Bren, doing what needed to be done in the name of duty. And I think about Caleb getting on his knee, eye level with Orym and telling him that he doesn't need to burn himself and everything he knows. That Orym doesn't need to be reforged. That pain doesn't make you strong. That he's already strong enough and that should he lack the strength, the people around him will provide it.
