Once again I prove victorious (in my own head) (in the battle of whether I should do different work than I have been doing)

#things i have determined about my advisor and dissertation:#i have to have adequate historical context but i do not have to make historical arguments and he is wrong in pushing for the latter #just because he thinks ''i want to know more about X'' when reading my X-adjacent chapter doesn't mean my chapter is the place for it #and most importantly:#the enemy is using very minor ways he's sinning against me (not remembering anything i say; not giving feedback in time)#as gateways to launch enormous attacks on me #with so many avenues for my defeat (i could cherish anger towards my advisor! i could quit trying to do theology!#i could double down on pride in my own work! i could give up the part of my work that's a spiritual gift!#i could just get really depressed and lazy (as i have already done but only for less than 24 hours)!#i could get bogged down in trying to do many things FOR WHICH I HAVE NOT BEEN TRAINED and not graduate on time!)#it's very comforting i think to have a clear sense of the spiritual warfare in the matter #cause it lets me acknowledge all the pain and horror it causes me as a real thing #without blaming my advisor (a well-intentioned if careless) man for all of it #the dissertation

My fatal flaw is that I’ll wear an outfit I think I look cute in one (1) time and the next thing I know I’m browsing fabric samples and looking to see if my library does sewing machine checkouts and thinking “I could totally make a dozen of these.”

listen i know we all know by now that things like "a full night's rest" and "exercise" and "cleaning your environment" do actually make a demonstrable difference in your mental health, but it's the cleaning in particular that always catches me off guard

like yeah. i DO feel way better now that i've cleaned the entire bathroom! what the FUCK!

#ive tried a bunch of different routine apps but tbh #Sweepy is fucking kicking my ass rn.#its very simply very straight forward. doesnt have a bunch of extra frills.#i like that it breaks each room down into tasks and then has separate meters for each task #i like that it has a rough estimate of how tough each task is. i like that they all contribute to the over all ranking of a room.#i like that it's got adjustable frequency timers for each task so it can be more or less frequent as your needs demand #and most importantly:#i cannot BELIEVE how effective that stupid fucking little red bar is at getting me off my ass

quick question for bandori people. is it better to use dupe 4*'s for skill leveling or burn for Michelle stickers?

also is it worth it to buy previous event 3*'s? either the cards that I really like for the art and/or to fill out my RAS and Morfonica teams? I'm still using 1*'s for both of them.

people seriously pretending EEAAO is overrated suddenly bc it swept awards? it swept awards largely because it is very very very good. I cried like someone who's just had a religious revelation BOTH times I watched it bc it touched something raw and real and beautiful but it was also just very, very funny. everyone's performance kills and the concept is creative and interesting and doesn't distract from the emotional core. you guys are just contrarian.
