BLOG 4 Demo Day

Demo Day was such a fun experience. We get to see exhibitions from different Start-up ideas from entrepreneurs. I have learned a lot from that day. Our team won as 3rd place in CMU ATBI Aqua-Agri Category. I am happy to experience a wonderful event from our Demo Day. I learned about marketing and sales from the pitch event. I also got to have an idea concerning competitors and investors.

Throughout my time in listening the lecture last April 9, 2023, I have learned many valuable things in Entrepreneurial Mind. So first, is Intellectual property which is to prevent competitors from copying your trademark, technology or product. Wherein, on the use of copyrighted material, the copyright holders have the exclusive right to use and reproduce their work, but this exclusive right are not absolute. In fact, the speaker said, that as a matter of policy, fair use is base on the belief that the public is entitled to freely use portions of copyrighted materials for purpose of commentary, reporting and not for commercial purposes. And the next speaker, introduce to us the introduction to start up incubation opportunities in the Philippines and also the start-up incubation hubs in the Philippines which are the QQBO Innovations Hub, IdeaSpace Foundation, Impact Hub Manila, Kikstart Ventures and Agri-AQUA Technology Business Incubators. Apart from this, the last speaker shared to us the RAISE which is Raising Awareness and Inspiring the Startup Ecosystem. This topic help to enhance stakeholder’s understanding and appreciation on thee basic concepts of a startup. In addition, SCALE in startup community and locale enhancement assess the situation at the startup ecosystem in the locale.

Masterplan development workshop . (Group 1)

During this workshop , we determined the location most ideal for placing our floating community .

After that a swot analysis was done to determine the factors we can use in our design and the factors in site that we need to provide solutions for .

Furthermore , the economical livelihood of community was determined . Our group landed on the idea of Agri tourism , focusing on the aqua agriculture aspects we plan to develop in this community

The theme of our community is ' vilu veshi' (working progress )

We also developed a initial layout for the spaces and facilities required in the area , in regards to the relativity distance with the areas on the island .

Will be posting more details on the above works , as the masterplan design develops .

I mean... they did kinda pull this off in the final stage, or so I heard. Apparently everyone somehow transformed into Fourze (except Ryusei obvs) and used one of the other states? That’s basically a whole Sentai of Fourze there lol.

Although, I kinda feel like Black fits Shun more in terms of his role as the other “hitter” on the team, since Blacks tend to be the strong guys on the team (see: Agri, Champ, Banba, Goushi if you wanna be really old school). Before Ryusei joined the club officially Shun usually joins Gentaro in fighting as well, Powerdizer or no.

For Green, I’d say JK, since he’s the comedic relief and there’s a lot of comedic Greens (Chiaki, Hanto, Don). And also a lot of Greens who are fast kinda like him (Souji, Towa, Sena).

Tomoko, I’m not really sure what kind of character to place her as. Maybe one of the more unusual colors, like Violet?

And Ryusei... he’s definitely an “sixth” red to me.

The Sinadya sa Halaran Festival is the joint festival of the City of Roxas and the Province of Capiz. It is a mixed festival in that it is celebrated for both cultural and religious reasons. It is celebrated every first weekend of December in commemoration of the Feast of the Virgin of the Immaculate Concepcion who also happens to be the patroness of the City of Roxas. Sinadya sa Halaran boasts of colorful activities like the grand parade of festivals, the fluvial parade, the lighted river floaters. Sinadya sa Halaran is one of Roxas City’s most important annual events and is fusion of two festivals – "Sinadya" (City) and "Halaran" (Province) which literally means joy in sharing and thanksgiving. It is celebrated on December 4-8 to commemorate the religious activities that embody the true Capiceño spirit.
