Nope, that's actually Hoppy! DogDay is the counselor, he just wears a tracksuit because it's easy to put on and to move around in.

Please give us a little bit of the panic! lore I'm so lost

I'm so bad at explaining things so i'm gonna lead with recommending the video that souryogurt64 just put out about the panic split if you have the 3.5 hours to spare. I'd also recommend poking around on prettyoddfever's blog, there's a lot of really good posts that put the events of early panic into a solid timeline.

But the reason I say that ryan would never perform pretty odd even tho it's fun to joke about is because even though there's so much in the air about the exact details about how ryan felt about brendon or the circumstances of brendon and spencer keeping the panic name, what's certain is that he didnt want to continue doing the band as it was back then. He's also a very private person and disliked the attention that fame brought on. I obviously dont know the man personally but everything he's done since 2009 has made it clear that he doesnt want to revisit that part of his life. I mean imagine if something you made when you were a teenager is the only thing that thousands upon thousands of strangers know you for. I'd also become a recluse lol.

All that to say if by some miracle he performs afycso in las vegas I will end up on the news.

Wait so I had a question about toon dogday and the non toon one, are they the same person in your au? Like can he switch between the two forms? And if so, which is the “default?” (Sorry if this is already explained just a bit confused)

There are two answers to this because I have TWO different Toon AUs, I should REALLY think of a name to differentiate them...

The first is the Break a Leg AU, where the Toons are actors for Poppy Playtime, which is a horror-genre TV show in-universe! In THIS AU, they are the same "person", as DogDay is able to shapeshift into the "monster" form.

The second is my AU where Poppy Playtime is not a TV show, and does not exist "in-universe". For now, I'll call it the "Chase a Daydream AU" since that's the name of the fanfic I'm writing for it!

In this universe, Toon DogDay and Bigger Bodies Initiative DogDay are NOT the same person. However, that doesn't mean Toon DogDay can't shapeshift into that form (wink).

In both AUs, the "toon" form is the default.

OP, come back and please cook. I have been waiting for some form of documentary/movie on this band since the break-up. The lore and history needs to be explored!

someone should make a social network (2010) style biopic movie about the rise and fall of panic! at the disco because it's literally the same story. young awkward nerdy guys in the early 2000s make something cool and then have the worst friendship breakup of all time that's reminiscent of a divorce and now decades later the thing they made is lame as fuck. one guy became evil after they split up and the other guy disappeared off of the face of the earth. every man involved was so misogynistic that the story has undertones of a doomed gay relationship (a comically large hook drags me off stage and I am shot like a lame horse)
