something interesting that i haven’t seen anyone else really bring up is that kristen is not actually kipperlilly copperkettle’s biggest hater. it’s adaine.

like. kristen doesn’t like her, and is a bitch to her, and she gets on her nerves, but at least to me, adaine is the on whose dogging on her the most. she is also using the stupid names, she’s the one who suggested(jokingly) killing one of the rat grinders so they couldn’t graduate with honors.

kristen may not like her but adaine fucking hates her and of course she does! kipperlilly’s whole thing is that the bad kids are get special treatment when adaine has never gotten that in her life!! she was second to aelwyn her whole life and now that she has like. one thing going for her this girl is saying that it’s unfair?? adaine whole life was unfair!! esp with adaine having worked her ass off to get where she is and this girl found a loophole??

i’m just saying if nemesis tracking was put on kipperlilly i’m of the opinion that kristen would not be her main enemy

The amount of drarry in HBP really is insane. Every time I interact with this book I just lose my mind because I cannot believe how much it really is Like That. In canon.

Harry is generally very conflict avoidant with his friends but he actually loses his temper with Ron here because Ron has the audacity to tell him to take a break from talking about Draco Malfoy.

like that scene of itadori holding the bunny and being pulled back by the hood by megumi? that’s you guys fr. this guys is STRESSED every time you two leave the house cause he never knows what your next move will be.

he can’t even chill walking down the street because you’re somehow already ten steps ahead of him. you’re walking super fast without realizing it ‘cause you’re so lost in thought.

the amount of times he’s had to grab the back of your shirt to keep you from crossing a street with no signal because you were on autopilot is terrifying.

or all the times you’ve put something in the oven and forgotten to set a timer because you got busy with something else… he’d eat the food even if it was a bit burnt without complaints, but he’d keep an eye on the clock for you as silent backup next time.

and he thinks it’s cute sometimes, he’s no liar, but only when you’re not in immediate danger. times when you’re laying on your side, facing him in bed, drawing invisible shapes on his bicep, under the sleeve of his t-shirt, he can see that you’re somewhere else. your eyes get this faraway look, sometimes you’ll mouth words to yourself, and he wouldn’t dream of interrupting you. it’s too precious of a sight. you look peaceful like that. completely unaware of anything else.

he takes it as a compliment because you clearly feel safe enough with him to let your guard down. he knows you make the effort to be more present and focused (hard as it may be for you) when you’re around others.

so when he does eventually say something to gain back your attention and you blink and shake your head a little before smiling at him and asking him to repeat what he said… he makes a note to look at rings next time he’s out.

cause truthfully he doesn’t mind one bit that you can be a bit absentminded sometimes. he doesn’t mind that he has to be an extra set of eyes for you, or that he has to hold onto you in crowded places so you don’t disappear from his line of vision. he loves you eternally and will always look out for you if it means you get to keep feeling so safe with him.

maybe it’s bc it’s 4am and the sleep deprivation is melting my brain but i can’t stop thinking about the scene in OotP where harry uses the pensieve and sees james doodling lily’s initials on his exam papers.

i also love the quick detail that he hastily scribbled over it at the end of class, like he hadn’t even completely realized that he drew it in the moment. it’s just so endearing to imagine with what we know about james- that when lily was around, he was known to peacock and show off to try and impress her, but when presumably no one else is watching, he‘s really just a smitten 15 year old who is completely infatuated with his crush. like he’s literally just kicking his feet and giggling over her, he’s such a loser lmao

You know Jade having a helm where wings cover her face/"eyes" is really interesting given her current hypothetical position in the lore.

The Jade Light was the ultimate death sentence. A finality of judgement. And its often said (at least here in the USA) that justice is blind. To the point where Justice is represented as a woman with a blindfold.

So I’m working on the second generation of cecropia kids. My last count turned up 18 I think, they are hard to count at this small size. Right around a week old and I think some are getting ready for their first molt. The boxelder stump has respouted a lot of fresh foliage so unless they can eat a whole small tree, we will be fine. But I will need to make a third cage for them to grow up in I think!

The abbey had to switch the offices phones back to corded because copia is a notorious phone call wanderer, often wandering halfway across the abbey (sometimes he would just wander out of range of the receiver and the call would just abruptly stop mid conversation)

He would also often sit the phone down wherever he was when the call ended, leaving either a poor sibling of sin to try and find it, or possibly himself next time he needed the phone.

(Once he must have wandered outside, cause mountain found the phone in one of the potted plants beside the bench in front of his greenhouse the next day)
