Welcome to our entrepreneurial journey! We embarked on a mission to solve a pressing issue in Musuan Bukidnon – the lack of efficient transportation. After conducting thorough research and interviews with potential customers, we identified a need for a ride-booking app tailored to the unique local transportation system, the motorela. Join us as we share our experiences, challenges, and triumphs in building a solution that enhances mobility in our community.

A hypothesis outlines your expectations for the results of your inquiry. It is a speculative, untested response to your research question. A number of hypotheses addressing diverse aspects of your research subject may need to be written for some research initiatives. It is not just a guess- it should be based on existing theories and knowledge, in which you can support it through various methods. The process of testing hypotheses seems straightforward. Simply formulate a question, design an experiment to test it, ask for a response, and then evaluate the findings. Several business professionals feel that these evaluations must be successful or unsuccessful. In other words, the theory is either correct or incorrect. Pass/fail tests developed without taking other elements into account are, in my opinion, ineffective.

In the initial stages of our journey, we conducted interviews with residents, students, and commuters in Musuan Bukidnon. We listened to their struggles with transportation, from long wait times to uncertainty about availability. Our hypothesis was that a ride-booking app tailored to the motorela system would address these pain points and provide a convenient solution for users. Moreover, one significant decision we made in the previous week was to prioritize the expansion of our service beyond the university campus to include neighboring barangays. This decision stemmed from our commitment to provide accessible transportation solutions to a wider community.

We deliberated on various options for expanding our service area. One option was to focus solely on optimizing operations within the university campus, leveraging the high demand from students and faculty. However, we recognized the opportunity to serve a larger demographic by extending our reach to nearby residential areas and commercial centers.

Throughout the week, we learned several valuable lessons that have shaped our entrepreneurial journey:
