Friend is still playing KOTOR. Friend has reached Korriban. Here are their thoughts so far. ....PART III
PARTS HERE [1] [2][3][4][5]
1. Dustil deserved to have more content time/become a companion to annoy Carth, team up with Mission and Zaalbar and get to know (*you) their coolest future step-parent.
2. Ajunta Pall is a random weirdo. No notes...but friend thinks they stuck around to be that 70-year old boomer sith lord Karen who just wants to complain. 👴. Basically he and Jolee should start a bookclub.
3. If this is how Malak runs a sith academy then he needs to go back to school instead of being a wannabe goth lord with insecurity issues.
4. Does Malak eat through a straw or what? There is no jaw. Man cannot get any food/anything else. No wonder he's so wound tight. He's probably hangry 😐.
5. Juhani and Canderous should both start a book, wine club, or a podcast. Their first one is titled "I joined a weird amnesic soldiers side-quest and all I got was mild trauma and even more trauma" or "what the sith is this shit?"
#yeah my friend is 100% bullying Malak. I love Revan, but I'd prefer his story not get hand waved away from being fully told because "well there's a few Tales episodes about him in during game events". But if there were episodes about him, I'd prefer a focus on what Revan and Malek were doing before the Mandalorian Wars, an event of the Mandalorian Wars, and either something of the Jedi Civil war (before Revan gets amnesia) or something post-KOTOR (though I'd prefer that episode not end the same way the Revan novel does, because I love Shadow of Revan in SWTOR, but... I want him to be happy and a hero).
I know so far that none of these series have gotten an additional season, BUT consider. Tales of the Jedi season 2: Revan and Meetra episodes that are all set around the games but never fully depict them participating in game events (save that for later). Season 3 can be about the same thing the comic series named Tales of the Jedi was about... The Great Sith War, Nomi Sunrider, Uliq-Qel Droma, and Exar Kun. Honestly, the entire six episode season could be just about that war, one half from one side's perspective (let's say Exar Kun), and the the other half from Nomi Sunrider.
I'd also be totally down with Tales of Sith and it could be about the original dark Jedi exiles who found Korriban and conquered it (maybe Ajunta Pall's perspective) and the other half be about Naga Sadow and the Great Hyperspace War. Or could also be about Vitiate.
If you could write a new Tales series what would it be and who would it be about?
padmé's handmaidens or her family
the shatterpoint lineage
someone fans really care about (like padme, instead of morgan whoever from last year)
darth revan who is real and canon and canon and real.
eli vanto as long as they don't whitewash him... ok i changed my mind i don't want one for him anymore
hear me out one half of the season is about padmé in the republic and the other half is about leia in the new republic. tales of uhh politics or some crap
idk some of our fave future survivors as padawans and younglings in the temple (cal and caleb besties!!!!!!!!!!!)
something on naboo
sabé and padme's handmaidens please just CAN THEY STOP PRETENDING PADME DOESNT HAVE NARRATIVE WEIGHT
#star wars#star wars legends#star wars eu#star wars suggestions#maybe not the most brilliant of ideas but I'd be happy to watch any of those shows to see more stories get told about them#just please#if there is a tales of the sith#DON'T let it be about sidious or vader#be about literally anyone else (besides Dooku because we already have that covered)#nomi sunrider#naga sadow#revan#darth revan#meetra surik#exar kun#ajunta pall#uliq qel droma#tales of the jedi

sorry complete locations but exegol looks like a fucking parking garage. further proof that sith do just leave statues lying around wherever they want to, tho. that's not really a hall of statues. that's more of a congregation of statues. i'm ashamed of you. you went from korriban and malachor and ashas ree to this? no wonder the sands there kept covering up ajunta pall's tomb, if this is the result of human dark side users colonizing the place and alchemically crossbreeding a new species out of the tsis. they're hiding the shame.
#keeping up with the skywalkers#hall of statues AND cloning lab. WHAT a space combo.#be thankful sidious never trusted you enough to show you exegol dooku u would've been SOOOOO disappointed at the aesthetic (lack)#this is the REAL REASON why there's shit lighting on exegol: no one can stand to look at their evil parking garage

Understanding (and appreciating) Carth Onasi
Alright, let me get straight to the point.
When i first started KOTOR, i did not like Carth that much, i remember starting in a male PC (playable character) and i played it until i got stuck in a boss fight (i think it was that droid on Taris in the sith base) and would always die so i dropped it.
Later on, i made another character after a month of playing, a sith female, or well, soon to be Sith. I began to, despite acting like a asshole to everyone. Start to like Carth, and as i read in a 15 year old video and a 8 year ago comment "he's like Kenobi but more aggressive." which is sort of true. Soon enough, despite my Sith career (and spoling myself half of the game) i liked Carth, not enough to romance him, as i had installed a Bi mod to romance Bastilla (uh, yeah.) but point is, i began to like Carth, he had an interesting lore, some banger lines like:
"I was hoping someone would do the dirty work on retrieving the sword of Ajunta Pall for quite a long time. It's been quite a wait." -Sith
"Haven't you considered...oh, i dunno, getting it yourself?"
Carth is a sassmaster, but most importantly, in my own retrospective, I've grown to like him. His backstory is also great, despite myself not experiencing it due to skipping many things due to rushing to the end of the game. At the end of the game (Or at Rakata Prime) when you turn fully Sith with fallen Bastilla (and kill half of your crew) losing Carth really felt...wrong, almost.
"Moping? No! I'm not moping...well, i..okay, maybe i am moping a little, but you're really pushy, you know that?" Is one of my favorite quotes of Carth alongside another few lines, either way. I think I've begun to appreciate Carth, maybe i'll do another run, light side, female, and romance Carth, pay a lil bit of attention to it, if you may.
Khaoz out with this long ass ramble at 12 am.

Sith murdered by Sith/future Sith*/ex-Sith:
Vader
Sidious
Tyranus*
Plagueis
Venamis
Tenebrous
Malak
Selene
Aleema Keto
Satal Keto*
Gav Daragon
Ludo Kressh
Naga Sadow
Tulak Hord
Simus
Sith murdered by Jedi:
Palpatine zombie/clone
Maul
Odion
Sith murdered by non-Force-users:
Ulic Qel-Droma
It's complicated:
Kylo (traded life forces with someone killed by...the Jedi?)
Naat Lare (killed by Jedi as unknowing pawns of a Sith test)
Nihilus + Sion + Traya (Exile can be either a Sith or Jedi or neither)
Jorak Uln + Mekel + Lashowe + Kel Algwinn + Shaardan + Uthar Wynn + Yuthura Ban + Dustil Onasi (Revan can choose to kill them)
Exar Kun (evil Sith ritual + Jedi-wrought forest fire = limbo situation)
Freedon Nadd (dies of old age but his ghost is murdered by a Sith)
Actually lives a long happy life without getting murdered as far as we know:
Daiman
Marka Ragnos
Ajunta Pall
Xesh (technically predates the Sith)
#star wars#sith#jedi#im sure im forgetting someone important...#man i love star wars😂😂😂#for the purposes of these lists youre a sith even if you got better. catholic priest rules apply

Fuck screen rant honestly fuck them 😭😭😭 they always get my hopes up... ONLY for Disney to crush them...
For context ( and here is the link) Ryan Gosling is rumored to get a role in a Star Wars project and screen rant just released a list of characters he could "potentially play"

And I can not stress how I would SACRIFICE my first born to see a show/movie about Ajunta Pall, Tarre Vizsla, Ran, Marchion Ro (and Darth Revan OF COURSE but I'm convinced only Keanu Reeves can play my king 😤😤) let alone is Ryan Gosling is playing any one of them.
Anyway here's to hoping he gets one of these roles and the project ends up being a success~💜💋💜💋

How about Azan or Lina for the outfitter meme? (Xaerez would've been too obvious for this)
Thanks, Pauletta! Love these girls 💚💜 (and had to chuckle at your Xaerez comment. I mean- you're not wrong aklsjds;lskd)
Azan has five outfits, with two being identical to each other just with different weapons stamped for when I swap her between jugg/assassin. the fifth one I won't show, since it's an outdated version of her class story set, and I'd like to update it but haven't found the right pieces, yet
First up is her main armor. This is what she'd wear into combat throughout the story following being named Wrath. She's actually one of my few toons who has a main outfit that consists entirely of a single set.
-Resilient Warden's Set -Ancient Sith Lord's Warblade -Gold Core Crystal -Secondary Black Dye
An outfit she'd wear later on, this likely ends up her official Alliance Paladin attire. It's what she normally wears during raids, and is the one that has a copy with a different weapon (the Warblade from above)
-Resilient Warden's Rebreather -Resort Swimwear Top (No Cape) -Xoxaan's Wristwraps & Handguards -Reconstructed Apprentice's Belt -Freelance Hunter's Greaves -Sinister Warrior's Greaves -Dark Honor Guard's Curved Vibrostaff, Gold Core Crystal, Lightning Weapon Tuning -Black/Black Dye
And her more casual wear. Sleeveless was totally Max's idea, and it carried over into her Paladin attire because Azan liked it so much.
I've got a lot more masks, now, so I might look into finding a different one for this outfit at some point. but for now...
-Ajunta Pall's Mask - not color-unified, Guardian Dark Blue/Bronze Dye -Ajunta Pall's Bracers -Satele Shan's set for the rest -Ancient Sith Lord's Warblade, Gold Core Crystal -Black/Black dye
Lina technically has three outfits, though one is a copy of her Main one, just with a different weapon for when I want to throw on her shadow combat style to run through stuff quickly.
Unfortunately, SWTOR just doesn't have dyes/tops in the right colors so I haven't been able to grow her wardrobe much :') the dye I used for her main outfit is Expensive on the GTN, and not available in the cartel market, currently - so she's stuck with this for now. I was actually lucky to find the dye on her main 'fit for as cheap as I did
I Do want to make her an outfit with the Sensuous Dress top - but again, lack of fitting dyes
Her main outfit, this is the kind of stuff she normally wears. She likes to have her shoulders free (and ngl, she Does like showing off her arms)
-Shadowsilk Force Expert's Headgear -Festival Dress Top, Bracelets, & Belt -Republic Dancer's Gloves -Remnant Underworld Inquisitor's Lower Robe -Dark Interrogator Boots -Dark Purple and Light Purple Dye Module -Tau's Lightsaber, Purple Outline Crystal, Indigo Fog Tuning
the other one is what she started out in haha
I see this one as her more "formal" clothes, but she tacked on the flashy glow-y bits to make it obnoxious so she doesn't have to wear it very often
-Apprentice Force-Lord's Headgear Mk-2 -The rest is Charged Peacemaker set -Exquisite Champion's Lightsaber, Purple Outline Crystal

Unearthing Ancient Darkness
(( Closed RP with @houndofstars and @sith-alchemy ))
In the northern Outer Rim, on the desolate planet of Korriban---the birthplace of the Sith and spiritual capitol of their empire---an archaeological expedition was taking place.
Buried beneath the harsh sands were the ruins of fallen dynasties, monuments and tombs built for the most powerful and infamous dark lords and temples dedicated the Dark Side of the Force. Tombs of legendary Sith like Ajunta Pall, Marka Ragnos and Naga Sadow were discovered, lost and rediscovered as Sith power waxed and waned over the course of galactic history.
Months ago, a survey team sent by Darth Wroth believed they had found an ancient structure dating back to the Great Sith Wars. After thousands of work hours and the deaths of many more slaves, the main entrance was uncovered and the complex could be entered. Believing that the site possessed priceless knowledge, Darth Wroth spared no expense to recover every artifact and protect the ruined complex from possible rivals and treasure-hunters.
However, problems had arisen: corridors collapsed, tons of sand buried weeks of hard work, native wildlife sheltering in the ruins hunted excavators and researchers with impunity and the corrupting influence of the Dark Side had driven some people to violent madness. Such was Darth Wroth's determination that he would personally lead future ventures into the ruins---for if weak-willed slaves, helpless scholars and undisciplined mercenaries couldn't handle the task, then it could only be accomplished by Sith.
To this end, Darth Wroth called upon his two apprentices to join him at the excavation site. He then stood upon the landing pad, awaiting their arrival via shuttle from his flagship in orbit. It was his expectation that their combined powers could not only eliminate problems, but that they might find him precious relics.

Okay, I screwed up in my last info dump.
The Sith got their start at the end of the Hundred-Year Darkness, not at the end of the Force Wars. Whoops.
The Force Wars:

The Force Wars ended in 25,783 BBY with the emergence of the newly minted Jedi Order and the defeat of the dark siders who fought to the end; none of those dark siders lived, but their legacy lived on to haunt the Order for millenia to come. In the aftermath of the Force Wars, Tython was devastated and the Jedi decided to leave their homeworld to travel the stars, eventually settling on a planet named Ossus, which would serve as their new homeworld for thousands of years. Also during this time the Jedi would make contact with and join the newly minted Galactic Republic.
First Great Scism:

The First Great Scism took place around 24,500 BBY, when a Jedi Knight by the name of Xender showed a great interest in studying the ways of Bogan (the dark side) and amassed a large following that would come to call themselves the Legion of Lettow. The Legions celebrated their freedom from the Order by giving in to their emotions and passions, rejecting the concepts of order and structure, and touched the power of the dark side. Sources are divided on which side started the conflict, some say it was the Jedi Order who declared war against the Legions and rose an army first, others say it was Xendor, who attacked the Jedi. Xendor stroke first, landing ships on Ossus before being repelled and driven into the core. Xendor attempted to spread propaganda about the Jedi throughout the Republic as the war broke out, trying to convince the leaders that the Jedi were trying to seize power under the guise of peacekeepers. The Republic saw through Xendor's attempts to discredit the strange monks from Ossus and so began aiding the Jedi in the war effort. As conflict erupted on Chandrila, Brentaal, Metellos and Coruscant itself, the war dragged on and on. Finally, Jedi Master Awdrysta Pina managed to confront Xendor at the battle of Columus and slay the leader of the Legions, using a powerful battle meld, a practice rejected by the Legionaries, since they saw it as giving up their individuality. In the following months, the rest of the Legions of Lettow were routed and the Great Schism finally ended.
Second Great Scism and Hundred-Year Darkness:

In 7003 BBY, the Jedi suffered a Second Great Schism, resulting in a time known to history as the Hundred-Year Darkness. The schism stemmed from the Order's reaction to a group of heretical Dark Jedi, led by Jedi Master Ajunta Pall, experimenting with forbidden alchemy, twisting living beings into monstrosities. The creatures which arose were deemed abominations to the Force by the High Council and war was begun to end the practice of these dark arts. By this time the Order had managed to develop the lightsaber in a way in which it was useful in hand-to-hand combat. Used before as a siege weapon due to its massive power pack, the Order's scientists were able to create a transportable power pack which could be worn on the belt of the user. Crossing blades with the heretics, who rose an army of animalistic monsters against them, the Jedi Order finally saw the end of the conflict with the victory at the battle of Corbos in 6900 BBY. There the Jedi Order arrested the twelve surviving Dark Jedi, including High General Ajunta Pall, and banished them to Wild Space. Unknown to the Jedi, these Exiles would land on the planet Korriban, homeworld of the Sith species, and posing as god-like beings, conquer the natives, deeming themselves the Dark Lords of the Sith.

^^The Exiles arrive on Korriban
And that is the long history of how the Sith came to be. Numerous conflicts arose after the Sith formerly came into being. The Great Hyperspace War, the Old Sith Wars (which included The Great Sith War, The Mandalorian Wars, The Jedi Civil War, the First Jedi Purge, The Great Galactic War, The Cold War, and The Galactic War) and the New Sith Wars which ended with the Ruusan Reformation in 1,000 BBY and the presumed destruction of the Sith are to name a few of these conflicts. However, one Sith Lord survived the destruction of 1,000 BBY: Darth Bane. Darth Bane, seeing the infighting and weakness that this had wrought on the Sith, would restart the Sith under the Rule of Two, which stated that there should only be 2 Sith at a time, a master and an apprentice. Once the apprentice had learned everything they could from their master, they would either kill their master or die trying; the stronger of which would survive the confrontation and continue the Sith line with the next apprentice. These Sith worked in secret and weakened the Republic and the Jedi from the shadows for nearly 1,000 years. In 19 BBY Darth Sideous would take over the Republic and enact the Great Jedi Purge (Episode 3).
The first in the Rule of Two: Darth Bane and his apprentice and successor, Darth Zannah:
The last in the Rule of Two: Darth Sideous and his third apprentice, Darth Vader:
And that is the main history of the Jedi, Sith and Galaxy at large to Episode 3, and I'm presuming that you know what happens in the Original Trilogy (Sith die, Empire fractures, and Jedi return under Luke, yay!) The old EU greatly diverges from the Sequel Trilogy with the Jedi returning in full under Luke with the New Jedi Order, extra-galactic invaders trying to take over the Galaxy, and the Sith re-emerging with the fall of Jacen Solo to the dark side and becoming Darth Caedus, the first Dark Lord of the Sith since Sideous died. Don't worry, Caedus is defeated by his twin sister Jedi Knight Jaina Solo, and the New Jedi Order continues on.

I think this will be my last big info dump for a while. Any questions?
Thank you for the info dump! It's like a kid running up with small shiny rocks, I just love it and I fill my pockets with them.
Unfortunately I don't have any questions to ask, my brain is fried from writing 3k today.

oh boy i am so brave i know when i need to kill a scene. alas yaddle office scene, you were trying to be too many things and, honestly, ari does not need to be there for them.
anyway, here's ... c. 28bby?
“Someone has developed their first crush.” “It is not! A crush is when a lack of knowledge creates a surge of desire to know everything about a person.” “I'm glad you specified that it needs to be focused around a person so we’re all using the same datacard,” says Lene. “Master Dooku is just jealous that I like his solar skiff more than him.” Master Dooku rolls his eyes by rolling his whole head back to look skyward to indicate what he thinks of this. “Are you breaking up with your pot sherds? Mazzy will be devastated.” Master Lene looks thoughtful. “What's so special about this solar sail, anyway?” “It’s Gree!” “Gree?” Master Lene’s idea of prehistory begins with the dissolution of the Je’daii Order and her idea of history a century before the Coruscant Reckoning Calendar started, when Ajunta Pall and his followers incited what is still seen as the greatest of the Schisms. “It's from ‘the most ancient and forgotten days’ before the Grey Swallowing, the Eaters of Worlds began their years of conquest!” I start really getting into complaining. “He went to the Gree Enclave without me! He travelled on Rokak’k Baran! I am bereft! I am shunned! I am no longer in orange spheres! I am rife with blue nonagon!”
#keeping up with the skywalkers#galaxies far far away may be closer than they appear#ari: i am being SO GOOD about NOT lying on the floor and screaming about this. ... i will lie ON TOP OF THE SOLAR SKIFF and yell#forget the whole sith lord thing there was the antique market with THEE ANCIENTEST TECHNE and NO INVITATION. that's the REAL horror.
