Urban fantasy idea;
There's been a rash of disappearances in poor neighborhoods in a few large cities.
Large Urban Mimics have adapted and started mimicking cars with the window down, or keys in the ignition, and the local car thief populations are getting hit HARD.
I'm just picturing a couple of guys eyeing up a shiny yellow Kia parked on some old broken down residential alike;
"Nah man, think about it. Why would THIS car be here? It's WAY too nice! And it's a bright color. You know what the news reports said."
"Yeah, yeah, I hear you. Don't wanna end up like Stevie. Or Eddie. Or Amy. Or–"
"yeah, you don't gotta go down the whole list. Let's go."
They leave and the car sits there for a few more minutes and the whole thing makes a kind of juddery motion, and the whole thing slinks off into the empty street, not quite moving right, less like a thing with wheels and more like a thing with lots and lots of little legs.

Hey I need help deciding on a Links Meet AU name. I would like it to include "Quest" somewhere in it. So here are a few options I was able to think of. If you can think of any other ones you can totally pop them in because I know I'm not the most creative with names.
Would be super mega epic if y'all could help me pwetty pwease

i know its kinda sad bcus its partially due to artemis lacking in purpose and direction in his life but its so funny how easily he gets dragged along on things. he complains so much but you can just take that man anywhere on any goofy side quest if you strongarm him a little

Need to get me some F76 friends who don't take the game so seriously
Like pleeeeeease just explore the places with me, I don't wanna do the expeditions or events all the damn time! I don't have the perk cards set for them so Im going to fucking die a lot, I have them set for exploration, collecting and minimal fighting!!!!

A tough and serious man, the Fisherman seems to have a story for everything. The truthfulness of these stories notwithstanding, it makes him very fun to talk to. Whether it be about a long battle with a massive speartuna, or his tall tale of two fish, one silver and one gold, locked in eternal combat, he tells them with such conviction that you can't help but listen. He carries a harpoon-like insect glaive in case of monster encounters on the water, and his trusty kinsect Biter often helps him scout for good fishing spots or danger.

Hrmm... Revising my game and I feel like there's still sooo much writing left to do, for something that probably won't even amount to much, so.. I do want to narrow my focus more (especially given my health problems seeming to get worse/less energy the past few years), but I'm not sure how would be best to...
I currently have 5 characters as the Main ones with full planned questlines and such, with each character having 6 quests you can do for them. But I haven't really started the writing for the 5th main character.
So then I was thinking, if I were going to write 6 full quests worth of content anyway... is it better to allocate that time on just doing a Complete 6 Quests for ONE single character, OR would it be better to do something like.. choose THREE side characters and do 2 quests for each of them? So that people have a wider variety to interact with and sort of sample around (of course with the idea that, once the first version of the game is released, IF people actually care about it enough to make it worth the effort, I would then add additional content to complete those 3 characters stories as well)
-
SO... If you were playing an interactive fiction sort of game centered around talking to & doing quests for a cast of characters (like there's no larger plot, more it's just about interacting with people, every character kind of has a self contained story, the focus is just learning about them and the world and exploring the area) --- Which would you rather have?
(and of course it would be stated up front which characters have only partial questlines, so people don't expect them to have full quests like the others and then get disappointed, or etc. etc.)
Basically, is it better to just focus in specifically on having one fully complete questline? Or for there to be a few stories that are not complete yet, but have more initial options available?

NaClYoHo day 2!
I decided to clean out my desk drawers and I have before and after pics this time!
The top drawer with the office supplies gets messed up easily since there’s so many small things in it, but while going through it I found a lot of things that should have been in my purse, like a fold up bag and reusable straw :O
The bottom drawer also used to hold my old school notebooks from prev semesters and a bunch of random craft stuff, so I removed those to make more room for my current notebooks so I can quit leaving them on my desk :)
