How long does it take you to plan out the plot of your stories? Do you have them planned out from the start beginning to end, or do you figure it out as you go? ✍🏼

It depends on the story. Often I start out with a rough outline (beginning, end and some main plot points along the way) and then create a more detailed outline as I go. This was how A wolf amongst lions was. I had the beginning and ending decided from the start and a list of major arcs.

On others I’ve had an ending/plot in mind but realized while I was writing that I had a different, better idea. This is what happened with a Pride of wolves which is why its pacing isn’t quite as air tight as the original. I was sort of finding the plot as I went (I found it now, fortunately).

In any case, I try to leave myself enough space to make new discoveries/change course when a new idea comes. But I try to make sure I’m working toward a particular goal with the plot and characters!

I want more body diversity in Lykaia but it’s the way 90% of animations don’t work right on any sim with an ounce of weight on them. Every time I film with Leslie her arms always clip through her sides. And she shouldn’t have to just have close up angles. :/ We needed weights for animations. Would’ve solved a lot of issues.

Thanks to Ren’s influence, Sayuri would marry into the Stark lineage, if you are born in the family && have auburn hair; congrats, you won her genetics. It does make sense considering her high honor, loyalty, along with dedication to family. Then, it plays into her symbology of being a winter like queen in her own right. There’s something lovely about this where in the beginning it was just, well, if Sayuri dies at least she goes out on her own accord to now growing old surrounded by her children who replace the faceless effigy with her brilliant emerald eyes && sunny smile. The contrast where she is displayed as a fearsome woman in her youth to surrounded by her loved ones in furs in her later years, Sayuri being one of few to escape the dance more profitable? Spicy.

I say this like everyday to my friends but it is genuinely so so hard not to have growing resentment and even hatred in my heart for those who are of the unseasoned food variety if you catch my drift. Like idk the way you'll collectively pounce on any opportunity or excuse to dehumanize and strip empathy away from poc is genuinely monstrous. And the way you double down on it when your racism has been called out only adds to that monstrosity of character. How are we as poc supposed to keep having any modicum of patience for an entire class of people who keep proving they want us dead or would not hesitate to look the other away when we ARE being targeted for slaughter.

New trailer for Aidan’s film Amongst the Wolves, which looks like an indie crime drama. It will be in Irish theatres starting May 2nd. I’m not sure when it will be available for streaming in other countries.

I tried to base their designs as closely as how they’re described. I’m happy with Tybolt’s design, but I feel like Marcus and Nym still need some tweaking as they don’t look quite so haunting, and as for Elissa and Johanna I feel like something’s just missing 🤔

I honestly think you did so well at capturing their likeness. Sure the twins COULD be more haunted, but maybe they're having a less haunted day XD

This makes me very, very, very happy. Johanna and the cat perfectly captures her essence and that bottom image of Elissa and Tybolt? So them.
