hell yeah thank you for asking me about these!! and thank you for the well wishes. i'm including both the reishuuto au discussion and an android au excerpt under the cut, separated into sections:
lehman bros more like lehman h--
i will caveat this by saying the lehman bros portion of this isn't actually that important. in general, the premise of the fic is loosely inspired by the 1984 LB collapse but combines that general timeline events with elements of the reishuuto rivalry from canon and other infamous debacles, like enron and the 2008 mortgage crisis and the time i had to take a financial theory class. build-a-bear but the bear is white collar crime.
the rough idea is that reigen is a trader who worked his way up to management from the bottom. roshuuto is a nepo baby from a well-connected family who got hired into a prestigious banking role despite being, in reigen's view, an idiot. when the long-time CEO announces his departure, the two end up pitted against one another for the top job. the fic follows the power struggle, including a messy enemies-with-benefits situationship, that eventually leaves the firm in ruin.
in keeping with the theme of toxic ambition, the title would be scorpion game or something similar -- a cheesy reference to 'full of scorpions is my mind' from macbeth.
