I know I'm supposed to simp for Leon but Claire in Degeneration did something to me.
The way she slapped the senator was so satisfying, she did not hold back. Also Leon just sees all this without saying a word and stands there— the whole thing is just bro standing in and filling the air. Character processing grief: stands still, Character is upset: stands still, Character is happy: Stands still.
The random romance between Angela and him tho, nah man, I get it you gave her mouth to mouth no way you two had chemistry. THE MOST CHEMISTRY THEY HAD IS WHEN THEY STARED AT EACHOTHER AFTER SHAKING HANDS, NO WAY HE CAUGHT FEELINGS. After all that they went through in Racoon City, somehow Claire is always the one left behind. Leon was not great in this movie, Claire was awesome, loved her scenes mostly cause she was the only one with life there. Angela's character was way too random, and unnecessary in my opinion, if they had Claire, that should have been enough to have Leon be looking out for Claire and only her. The "moments" between them were also weird too, had no essence at all.
All in all, Leon was weird, Claire was okay, everyone else: weird.
Because of where I was, I think these are the best photos I got of Angela Miller. I gave up trying early on, but found these, so I'm glad I got something of her! (No idea what Jensen is doing in that first one! 🤣) Radio Company at Analog, Nashville, December 2022
i am so sorry to fans of angela and degeneration but that movie is so forgettable that i completely forgot she existed.
this is funny because i was in the middle of writing a comprehensive little- .... post? about my opinions on the various ships with leon and i completely omitted her because i didn't think there was enough content to base an opinion on it. BUT also because i forgot about her.
i think that that movie in particular was meant to be kinda of a filler one tbh (in the sense that not much was added that was detrimental or critical to the series) *correct me if i'm wrong on that though
but her character was written too much to be the aid of "leon being a heartthrob" or something. he was still kinda flirty ig? i went to rewatch their scenes to refresh my memory of it. and he does hold her hand when they're running, but i read that more as a - you're running too slow, you're gonna get killed
and then the CPR scene is weirdly shoehorned in imo
I DUNNO IT WAS A WEIRD MOVIE NOW THAT I THINK ABOUT IT LOL
Watched RE Degeneration, and I could not stop laughing at it. I'm not even going to comment on whatever they done to Leon and why he looks so weird, but he just kept standing awkwardly around people? More often than not, behind them as well.
Also the whole thing between him and Angela... he literally just told her that her brother is dead and the monster wants to breed her due to her connection to him, and then they had a weird kiss underwater escaping an explosion. It gets weirder when they finally kill Curtis and he jsut awkwardly stares at their hands and then her - like now js really not the time Leon.
Claire was great throughout the movie though, wish we got to see more of her. I love how she slapped the Senator 😂 honestly she carried the movie as Leon was just so weird in it.
Also, I am very bad with names and honestly kept on thinking Curtis was the weird leech guy from resident Evil 0. I think it was the hair.
Overall, it is honestly a decent movie to laugh at, as it was hilarious to make fun of, but it is not a good movie to take serious
This is my favorite joke made by Angela yesterday. The fact they are aware of Shayne back tracking when talking about Courtney is hilarious. Some times you forget that they see what we see 😂
