Three ships: whoever thought three ships are enough is just downright evil

1. Destiel (Dean Winchester/Castiel from Supernatural). The finale of the show made me lose interest completely in anything Destiel related, I even stopped reading fanfictions about them, but I gotta put them in the list anyway because so many years I've spent obsessing over them. They used to be my OTP, don't think they still are, but they deserve to be here, I still love them even though it was mostly fanservice.

2. BakuDeku (Bakugou Katsuki and Midoriya Izuku from Boku no Hero Academia). Now, I admit, in the past I thought whoever shipped them was downright crazy. But here I am. One of them had such an amazing growth, which changed their relationship as well, and I just love that, I love the more a relationship change, and they're the epitome of that. From childhood friends, to enemies, to having to work together, to friends (and to more in fanfictions and in my silly mind). So yes, a fairly new ship all considered for me, but I already love it so so much.

3. Ineffable Husbands (Crowley and Aziraphale from Good Omens). Choosing a third is awful because I love so many ships, but they deserve it. They have so much bickering, just like an old married couple, and that is something I love a lot. Give me bickering and I'm in. Also all that happened in season 2, painful but so good, yes please, can't wait for season 3.

(Please forgive me for not including Lestappen but they would have been in my top 5 if this was a top 5 ships 😢)

First ship ever: ...so this is weird. Because I found out I basically unconsciously shipped Merthur when I was around 9 or 10 lol (I hated seeing Arthur with Gwen, especially kissing scenes, and instead loved all his scenes with Merlin). But my real first ship is probably NaruSasu, although my first fanfiction was about Goku and Vegeta (which is funny since I don't even ship them and I never have).

Currently craving: money, always money. With money I can have books and visit places so money (hopefully finding a job soon would be good enough too).

Gunter/Corrin is still my ride or die OTP to end all OTP's buuut there are some other ideas through these playthroughs ~

Gunter/Flora is still nibbling at my mind, whether it's a platonic scene or if something romantic naturally develops out of those DLC holiday supports. contrary to the translator's comments i don't see Flora's offer to take care of him being familial-related at all. :p a lot of Flora's lines in general across the routes are dedicated to Jakob being somebody she pines for, so imagine the meat you'd get when she gets to know who trained Jakob and was essentially his dad (lol). delicious semi-sweet, semi-skeevy potential there! (doubly so if you take the more morbid interpretation and have flora projecting her jakob feelings on him and then gunter projecting his corrin feelings on her.) they're both quite shy about their feelings so I don't know if either one of them would actually work up the courage for anything more than an unusual amount of chemistry, but I could see low key not-really-serious flirting that they secretly enjoy.

For very complicated grief-related reasons (possibly a meta post after this fic?) I can't really see Gunter sticking around long post-game if he doesn't have a romantic anchor to be a reason for existence, but I can see Flora genuinely being a notable exception.

haven't even touched on the fact that both of them betray Corrin in at least one if not more routes (and still love and care for her anyways), so there's that emotional coldness/pragmatism to also play with.

Gunter&Azura - last playthrough of Rev really made me realize just how many parallels they have. :o both perceived as/are traitors, both keep really tragic secrets about their families for decades, both don't come anywhere to showing their whole "self" even if married or in just one route.

there's also that bit how Azura was stolen away from Nohr as a child and how Gunter blames himself a little bit for that. like. what's up with that, how would Azura take that? Would she forgive him for his particular betrayal against her post-Revelation?

also think a support conversation between Gunter&Silas would be super cool because I strongly headcanon he was the one to nearly execute the poor boy after getting in trouble for sneaking Corrin out. Silas keeps mentioning in all routes how the guards nearly had him killed, and Gunter's kind of the de-facto castle commander (or so the routes imply). Would Silas be nervy about meeting him again? Would Gunter be able to genuinely apologize (would he feel the need to?) Would they be able to move on and reminisce about Corrin?

In a similar way, Gunter&Jakob's got underutilized potential but I haven't quite cracked that nut there. there is one amazing as hell porn fic with them that i know about though :D

( also special shout out to @lululeighsworld and their summoner with him. :D from one selfshipper from another game to another, it is suchhhh a delight to see the kinds of exploration you can't get with base game stories. gotta shake those old man characters like a bag of marbles to get the juicy bits out!! )

Man, so many! I am very suggestible when it comes to ships and my friends are talented so it is very easy to draw me into things 😂 Some examples off the top of my head, mostly MP100 and World Trigger:

Minori/Mob, which i hadn't really thought about until Mis put it in my head and now they're married with children in my endgame headcanons

C - A ship you have never liked and probably never will.

YuuOsa and TachiJin come to mind... I LOVE both as platonic relationships, but I just... don't see Osamu or Tachikawa as someone Yuuma or Jin would be attracted to, respectively? And top Yuuma just isn't it for me. (I do actually own a single OsaYuu doujin... because the art was gorgeous and it had post-body-recovery Yuuma with his missing limbs and eye, which I am always down for, lmao.)

Azuma with his kids, especially Miwa/Koarai/Okudera - I just can't imagine him not being incredibly scrupulous about maintaining healthy boundaries with the teenagers under his care, and the alternate character interpretation of "predatory Azuma" that i've seen in a lot of the azumiwa/etc content is... extremely Not For Me.

It's not a huge ship, and basically nonexistent on the eng side of fandom, but Hyrein/Osamu still baffles me. Like, Osamu-fuckers chase ur bliss, etc, but Hyrein had SO LITTLE to say about Osamu personally compared to other Border agents he fought (Izumi, obviously, but even Miwa and Karasuma) that I just cannot imagine Osamu leaving any impression on him at all, let alone the obsessive villain/hero ship that has apparently spawned more doujins than haiizu no i'm not salty leave me alone

F - What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom?

HMMM this is a really hard one to quantify since there are some fandoms that I tend to return to periodically, and often have like... one primary fixation but several running in the background that can still Activate me periodically. The longest individual fixations tend to be around 1.5-2 years (Transformers, Star Trek, Promare, and MP100 all reached that point) - but there are comfort fandoms that I circle back to repeatedly that have been in my life for decades (Star Trek and Pokemon are a couple of the major ones, and Ar Tonelico is a more recent example that hasn't quite hit a decade yet but shows no signs of going anywhere). And while MOST of my fic/art consumption and creative output is in Watori right now, I still would say I'm in MP100 fandom to some extent - I still buy shimateru/Claw-centric doujins when I see them, a lot of my friends are still active in the fandom, and I've got shimateru WIPs I hope to circle back to eventually. OTOH I don't really see myself returning to writing for Promare and don't currently have any interest in my older Star Trek WIPs, but I still like to rewatch both of them, I have no intention of selling any of the Promare merch that is in every room of my house, and I still love going to the Trek con in Vegas every couple of years and have some future cosplay plans... And you can still absolutely activate those parts of my brain if you talk to me about the Dominion or Kraylio, hahaha. It's very nebulous but I kind of like it this way! I like still feeling connected to my fandoms even after the intense hyperfixation phase has faded.

G - Have you ever had an OTP? If so, do you remember your first one? Who was in it?

I always have one or two Big Fav Ships in any given fandom, but I've always been a multishipper also, so "true" OTPs are a little rarer. I remember Ishihime in Bleach being one of the first non-canon ships I felt pretty strongly about, and disliking Ichihime as a result, but I also liked Ulquihime a lot, so... lmao. The first truly exclusive OTP I can remember might actually be Han'Gerrel/Zaal'Koris from the original Mass Effect trilogy, which was incidentally also the beginning of my shift from primarily-het shipper to primarily-gay shipper hahah.

I think in my mind, something qualifies as an OTP if it's like... the True Ending in my mind, even when I also enjoy other ships. Like- in MP100, Shimazaki and Teru just Are Together, even though I also sometimes enjoy other ships involving them like touishima, shimamine, riteru etc - those other ships just always are "relationship history" or "alternate timeline" in my head, and I never really imagine them long-term in the same way.

Favorite character:

It changes frequently but Takizawa has permanent residence in at least the top 3. Recently I've been liking Shikorae.

Least Favorite character:

I've mentioned that the worst offense a character can make is being boring. So I probably don't remember them at all, but of the ones I do know :re Touka. She's so sadly bland and it just feels like her personality hasn't been developed just taken down a couple notches. I like her so much! I don't like what was done with her.

5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): Oh god, in no particular order:

If I had to pick one of the big three kaneki ships: Shuuneki. shuunaki because I read a couple good fics, utaren's very interesting to me romantically and platonically, I heard of Eto Itori and Rize once and it's lived in my mind since. And then one of my many rarepairs that will seem weird or outright nonsensical is furushuu. I won't bother attempting to explain, I'd get nowhere, but if you were me it'd seem so interesting I promise. My favorite genre for all of these except for itorizeto (of which I just think they should conquer the world, the way their names connect so easily makes me happy. They're entirely there if you look at them individually, but as a whole they also overlap with each other!) is one-sided affection. I'm a fan of pining.

Character I find most attractive: 

I've never really sat back and gone "wow that is a pretty person" while reading Tokyo Ghoul. The closest I've gotten was seeing an Ayato cosplayer just pick up a person and carry them, matsumae for a moment, and when I first got into the series, Shuu.

Character I would marry: 

Kanae.

Character I would be best friends with:

Kanae, Kurona, and Nishiki seem cool but they'd hate my guts! Anyone that comes to mind first as an interesting as a friend would probably want me dead, So Hanbee or Koori. They could learn to tolerate me.

a random thought:

When tumblr starts being thirsty over “that old man” I do think of Kureo Mado (Akira’s dad) I Am Sorry. I will not change.

An unpopular opinion:

This fandom is too dead for me to know what a popular opinion is so: Kaneki isn't that interesting after the tsukiyama extermination arc, and Touka's speech to him when he came back to Anteiku did literally nothing. Touka and Hide's influence gives Kaneki brief moments of clarity before doing something stupid that'll hurt people, and then he does the stupid thing that'll hurt people anyways but we should root for him anyways because he's thinking of them... Is suppose.

My Canon OTP:

This is a funny one because I am either neutral or outright annoyed by most canon ships. I guess Nishikimi, they support and love each other and Kimi’s character couldn’t be assassinated to love a man because it was a quality of her personality from the beginning, and even if :re doesn’t devote too much time to her she’s still an influential and decent character.  

My Non-canon OTP: 

I kind of ship almost anything that drifts my way a little bit and nothing passionately. You could give me any of the ones I've mentioned and 50% of those I haven't and I'd go "yeah sure that one"

Most Badass Character:

ETO YOSHIMURA MY EVERYTHING, I don’t care how many times Kaneki changes his hair color she is unmatched.

Most Epic Villain:

Furuta and his weird methods. It’s unfortunate we never got a real idea of how strong he is because kingneki got a final form complete with religious imagery to crush the sinner! And barely took a scratch that entire fight. Seriously if the early confrontation with an aggressive bisexual with a poorly thought out plan trying to eat your main character is more intense than the final fight of the series with a character who’s a living manifestation of all of the issues that characters in this series suffer from, both on the receiving and giving end, I feel like it’s all gone off the deep end.

Pairing I am not a fan of:

The two weirdly-prevalent-in-the-old-fandom cousin pairings. Yes the one-sided attraction is canon, they’re still cousins and I don’t like it when that obsession is romanticized even when rewritten to be “ethical” otherwise. Unhealthy pairings can be interesting if handled well but they’re also related. But if you want my petty "nothing wrong with this the vibes just aren't it" answer, Hinami and Ayato.

Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another):

Is all of them an option. Mostly joking but really, so many of them never got a good resolution or were straight up abandoned by the narrative but it's okay because look! Main character got a happy family! Not sure how because from the state we saw him in earlier I don't think he's fit to have a stable friendship let alone a wife and two kids but alright I guess kisses cure issues. I feel the worst for Takizawa, Furuta, Shuu, and Mutsuki currently because I'm thinking about how they never got a good resolution.

Favourite Friendship:

I’m making it friendshipS because there is no way I could limit myself to just 1, Chie and Tsukiyama, Shikorae and Takizawa, the clowns in general, the quinx squad in general, and I know it's not nearly canon but Furuta and Eto were made enemies BECAUSE GOD WAS AFRAID OF WHAT THEY WOULD ACHIEVE IF THEY WERE FRIENDS. I like to ponder the mischief and mind games that would ensue they're so awful.

Character I most identify with:

Oh I'm not self aware enough for this one assign me a person if you wish! I've been made to take quiz things a few times and I believe my results from those have been taki, kuki, and furuta but I don't trust my reading comprehension skills, the quiz makers opinions, or my own answers enough to trust that.

Character I wish I could be:

If we're just talking abilities, Shikorae. If you mean "You literally have to become them", unfortunately how fun it would be to play their role comes hand in hand with trauma, Touma Higemaru perhaps. Bikakus are my favorite kind of Kagune, and he's a pretty blank slate. I could do a lot, anyone with more intrigue ends up dead or completely alone.

002 Sonelise

When I started shipping them: a couple of years ago after seeing cute fanart. But coming across @solarhood 's blog really increased my liking for the pair.

My thoughts: Gets way too much hate, i see it has lots of potential in fanfics, it is not and never was bestiality, and it can be a good romance or a good friendship. Plus Amy isn't unfairly demonized.

What makes me happy about them: their interactions were so sweet, especially the scene in the meadows.

What makes me sad about them: that they had to give up their memories :(

Things done in fanfic that annoy me: when people try to improve Elise by making her a Blaze Clone. Or turning her into a hedgehog just to make her ship with sonic more "palatable" listen Elise can still be badass without being turned into another Blaze/Sally copy

Things I look for in fanfic: again better characterizing that isn't turning Elise into Xena, also amy not being demonized for melodrama. Sonic & Elise more time together (with in character Sonic)

My Wishlist: that elise comes back with a new design that (let 👏 her 👏 wear 👏 different clothes!!) & reuniting with Sonic

Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with if not each other: with Sonic I don't mind him with Amy or a new character. With Elise, Surprisingly KNUCKLES. Both were isolated and had to spend their childhood into roles they didn't ask for so the parallels are already there. Difference is Elise can help Knuckles be comfortable around girls without overstepping his boundaries, and he can help her learn to master her power and be more open with her emotions even especially the negative ones.

My happily ever after: Sonic and Elise somehow recovering their full memories and becoming friends again. Elise decides to travel the world with him not just for personal pleasure but to instill alliances and gain more life experience

How I feel about this character: TERRIBLE he's the reason why I made Noelani in the first place!! Unnecessary audience surrogate who didn't even do a good job in the role he was that hateable!

My favorite non-romantic relationship for this character: Okay maybe his relationship with his servants were a little sweet then again not surprised if they forced to act like that because he signs their paychecks

My unpopular opinion about this character: he isn't the worse creator's pet I know he wasn't as awful as Kicker from Energon or Light Yagami

One thing I wished. Would happen/had happened with this character in canon: That he faced some actual damn consequences especially in the last episode of s2! Ground that boy! Don't just let him get away with dooming two planets!

Favorite friendship for this character: Surprisingly him and Tails, too bad it wasn't enough to salvage him

My crossover ship: him and Adrien would make great friends and that's not a compliment

omg. I can't choose, but any combination of Naegi, Kirigiri, and Togami including a poly ship. I don't careeeee which one I love them all though especially all of them together they make my heart sing. in my mind they're all married.

19. Who do you think is an underrated character?

I already answered 19 in another ask BUT I'm going to attempt to do it again with a different character. I don't think Owari is talked enough about either. she's more looked at as a comedic relief character but her backstory is really sad (and the way she hints at her past throughout is also very sad). I feel similarly about Soda too. hahaha yes he has a crush on Sonia but his FTEs are so T_T, and I thought it was an interesting explanation for his character design overall.

100. Opinion on all the Protagonists!

omg stop this is the best question. OKAY

Makoto Naegi: I absolutely adore Naegi. I hold thh very dear to me, and thus he comes along with it. I think the way he always brings out the best in his classmates and always attempts to see the good in them is so refreshing. His leadership of his rag tag group of friends seems odd at first glance, but the little things about the way he interacts with all of them justifies it perfectly. He's the best. I love him.

Hajime Hinata: I love Hinata for a very different reason than I love Naegi. I love Hinata because he felt the most like me. This made playing as him very pleasant, because almost all of his reactions to what was going on around him felt like how I would react if I were in his shoes. I can't pick a favourite protagonist character-wise, but if I had to pick my favourite one to PLAY as, it would be Hinata!

Kaede Akamatsu: when I first opened drv3 and found that I was playing as a beautiful musician, I was over the fucking moon. then she died. akamatsu was a breath of fresh air in a protag. she was positive, she wasn't overly nervous, she worked to understand people... I could go on. but that breath of fresh air was so short-lived, and it still pisses me off. miss her. (omg as an aside I have to tell you this; while I was at work today someone passed me in kaede cosplay I just about DIED. I told them they looked amazing I was so happy)

Shuichi Saihara: okay, I know everything I said about Kaede just now makes it seem like I wouldn't be as fond of Saihara. though I may have preferred him in a support role similar to Kirigiri, I did really like him as a protagonist because his insecurities felt very real (and relatable). Though I do think it would've been interesting to see him if he had carried out his original plan of crafting the perfect crime... anyway, I'm a sucker for detective characters, so he's cool.

My thoughts: Literally I love them. The sexual tension (intentional or not) was fire. Their interactions were so juicy and if the writers had a shred of courage they would have kissed post-Dagger mission

What makes me happy about them: They get to be soft together!!

What makes me sad about them: They're probably going to have to deal with residual trauma from the dagger mission :(

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: I don't like slowburns so that annoys me lol, but that's not a dig at anyone. I guess if they're still acting like assholes to each other :P

Things I look for in fanfic: Literally just fluff...or angst with fluff at the end. Love that emotional hurt comfort <3

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Honestly I wish we saw more of him, but I guess Val only wanted to be there for that long...I'm glad we got him anyway!

Q1. What type of content do you create?

A1: I'm a nsfw fanfic writer, mainly for SebaCiel!

Twitter - akumahoshi_uwu (though it's only drabbles but when I'm uploading for a fic, I do chapter updates)

Q3. What work are you most proud of, why?

A3: Marry Days. A story about an arranged marriage between Sebastian and Ciel. A toxic, abusive relationship. It was a work that I let myself do whatever I wanted. I've always created darker stories but always felt conscious. Like so many what if's lolol What if this will upset someone? What if a reader doesn't like this? What if this is too much? What if- you guys get it lool But I finally got over it and told myself to just do it ✔️ It was an enjoyment and I absolutely loved it!!

A4: 2010 💕

Q5. What ships do you have, if any?

A5: Of course, my main otp is SebaCiel. I've been really into Diedrich x Vincent! They've been making me feral lately lolol

Q6. What are your favorite tropes?

A6: Childhood friends, teacher x student, bodyguard

Q7. Do you have a routine for your creative process?

I have to listen to music. I can't do anything in silence so I make playlists for whatever mood the story is usually setting into. I guess another thing is I always have a blanket over my legs. It keeps me comfortable and warm!

Q8. What gives you inspiration?

A8: Anytime I get asked this, I go blank. Like what gives me inspiration? What inspires me to write? What makes my mind keep going? You know what it keeps going back too? SebaCiel. I only write for SebaCiel. They're literally my inspiration to write whatever ideas I come up with and whatever au crossover I want to do. It sounds so corny but I love them so much! They have so much possibilities that I can get creative with that it just feels never ending. Trust me, I've tried writing for other otps I love but they don't get me going as much as SebaCiel lolol

Q9. Is there anything you're working on right now?

I'm actually working on a remake of Marry Days! I absolutely adore that fic and I can't get over it still so I decided to rewrite it. Still in the same guidelines but maybe a few changes. This time I'm writing it in third person though. I feel like it'll allow me to show more emotions than what I originally wanted.

Q10. What made you start writing?

A10: I've always written since I was young. My first fanfic I wrote was in a notebook and only 3 pages long 😂—I was only like 10 years old lolol. I guess the reason why I started was because I liked to read fanfic. It's so simple but it's true lool. This was long ago when I did read fanfics but I don't anymore. I continued to keep writing because the enjoyment of creativity!

Q11. Do you have any advice for writing smut?

You guys probably hear it all the time but reading, especially reading smut. Even if it's just short bits. Yes, I'm contradicting myself cause I don't read fanfics but I do enjoy reading drabbles. They're short and get to the point. Also just researching—so, bluntly putting, watching porn. Like I stated before, I don't typically read so I watch porn to see what a human body can do, too. Also Google is your best friend! But at the end of the day, not everything has to be fact corrected so have fun with your writing! If you're too lazy to write them getting lube then just make them fuck lolol. It's all fictional in the end anyways 🙂.

Love and Redemption, eps 31-40 (painful thoughts lol)

I love these posters, they’re beautiful. 

Well, I officially hate everyone who likes to claim they're such good guys. Because in this drama, chances are, if you have to say it over and over again or you have justify yourself in the name of the greater good, you're actually full of shit. I feel like an overdramatic after watching these last ten eps, because before I clearly didn't know how much more bad things could get and I still haven't seen the worst, but I made such a fuss and now I can't even be angry lol I'm just so worn out, so tired and want my happy ending now. Yep, this is totally a fun drama to watch!

Anyway, no matter how bad things ended after these ten eps, I feel like this has been the most rock solid the relationship between the OTP has been. And with such good moments, and I don’t mean hot and heavy makeouts, I’m talking about trust and loyalty. I just wish Sifeng would’ve told Xuanji the truth about him being a golden bird demon, that way she would’ve never doubted him or be in pain because of it. And it was so heartbreaking to see that moment. All went to hell, people were dying and fighting, their parents (in retrospective it was obvious that the sect leader from Lize was Sifeng’s father but wtf who puts a lover’s curse on their own child? especially if you have been through it?) telling them the other never cared for her/him and they were just there, in the middle of the battle with tears in their eyes. So saaaaaad.

I loved that Dijun heard this bit! Of course that only makes him angrier and super jealous, but I love to see it gets to him, it’s a little win.

It was obvious the drama was going to go the “his father killed her mother therefore they cannot be together” route *facepalm* Of course! Because the world and the 3 realms are against them! His father didn’t really do it, as we found out later but that was enough to shock Xuanji for a good while. She still trusted him, but she was wary because Sifeng lied to her. I get it, but at the same time, Xuajin dear, can’t you see this is exactly what he feared? There was a reason he didn’t tell you.

I feel like I’m a step closer to finding out how Sifeng and Xuanji came to know each other when she was still a God and why he followed her to the mortal realm and had to get through 9 lifetimes together. Didn’t fanfic writer from heaven told Tengshe that, when Dijun married another woman (and btw isn’t he still married? the heck?), God of War went away and her only company were some golden birds? Am I reading too much into it? But, isn’t that weird? That was after the big war with the demon realm, where she defeated the Star of Mosha... so is Sifeng really him? I’m super confused.

HAHAHAHAHAHA The audacity from this man knows no limits. I couldn't believe he dared to say something to Tengshe when he has been sticking his nose into Xuanji's mortal life for years! I HATE HIM more than the bad guys. To me, he’s the number one enemy and I fear my hate for him will only grow more. I want to see him fall, real bad and real hard, from glory. I want him to suffer and to be punished. I don't care by whom or by what (but can I suggest OTP for the job?) I just need for him to end on a really really bad note. 

Also, I love Tenshe. That episode where he met OTP, was gold, from beginning to end. I laughed so hard and I’m documenting here that it was ep 32, so that I can always go back and watch it when the story gets too angsty or sad. It was amazing and it had so much smiling/amused Sifeng, what else can you ask for? Also, Tengshe became a powerful ally and moved forward the plot: he helped rescue Linglong (more on that later), he told OTP what he knew abut God of War/Dijun “love” story, which left Sifeng thinking (and I’m sure will come into play later), he had the softest interaction with Linglong when everybody else refused to tell her where was Minyan. And he protected Xuanji so many times, despite saying he wouldn’t do it. He’s the best, he loves food and notices important things when there’s drama.

Demon fox and Merman doctor continue to rank high on my list of favorite characters as well. It’s the mortals from the “good” sects the ones I’m having issues with. And Xuanji’s father. For a moment, when he gave his blessing to OTP I thought I could forgive him for torturing Sifeng, but not anymore.

My sweet badass Linglong finally got rescued, but after 15 eps of being kidnapped, the weird thing would’ve been that she returned as if nothing had happened. I felt bad for the flower demon that helped Minyan and traitor friend from Lize, because she thought creepy bad guy actually had feelings for her and in the end, she got killed. It was terrible that Linglong remembered everything that happened when she was captive, but of course, this drama doesn’t spare anyone. I thought she wouldn’t! My poor girl was so traumatized, felt so guilty and was so depressed that she tried to kill herself but thank God Minyan stopped her. Oh, Minyan, okay, okay, I apologize to you, I misjudged you. You’re not a favorite yet but I like you and I’m so glad my Linglong has someone like you by her side. Just give Sifeng a chance (I’m not asking that of Linglong bc my girl has been through enough, I understand her).

Now, the biggest problem. I have raised my eyebrows so high at all the people from the sects they almost reached my hairline bc, from what I've seen, Xuanji is way more unhinged and dangerous when she is in God mode than my dear Sifeng, a demon, has ever been (till now I've never seen him with as much more than an distant and cold attitude let alone really angry), he is always in control of his emotions and a big part of that is thanks to the fact that he keeps his mind clear and is able think with reason and logic something everybody from the sects lacks. So why are all so angry and scared of Sifeng when they should be fearing Xuanji?

I'm not saying "lock her in the dungeons without food" they did it with Sifeng though but maybe like, I don't know, get some magical therapy to see through her head, advise her to meditate or something. As much as I love that girl, she's a ticking bomb and I've seen her about to kill her friends and the people she loves a few times now, because she doesn't recognize them in that state and Dijun loves to delulu himself into thinking he knows what’s best for her ugh. Why does no one find that scarier than a bunch of demons who disguised themselves through centuries just to avoid being killed and have been lying on the low trying to keep peace with the other sects? Oh, I know, because you're all a bunch of prejudiced racists assholes.

Tbh I kinda want Sifeng to go bad. I don’t think he has it him but I’m just so tired of him always being so good... what for? Rise, demon Sifeng! Be angry!

So I really really love promptis, they're my otp you know, but something that's been on my mind lately regarding them getting together in canon during the road trip: noctis being engaged to luna. i know it's really only a part of the peace treaty to start off with, but if prompto was gonna get involved with noct i think he'd want to know where noct stood about it all/what was actually going on, y'know? how might that conversation go down? are they cheating? (i hope not)

It’s my own personal headcanon that they were together long before there was ever a need to worry about peace treaties and arranged engagements. To me, the road trip was more than likely Prompto trying his best to be supportive of the wedding because he should have known something as wonderful as Noctis wasn’t going to last. 

However, Noctis made that difficult. He’s been with Prompto for so long and now he has to drop years of that relationship for a girl he hasn’t seen in twelve years. That wouldn’t settle well with Noctis. He’d be so used to reaching out for him, being close to him while they slept (so he’s always thankful for hotel stays so he can share a bed with him), everything that a couple who had been happy together only days prior would do. 

And Prompto can’t say no to Noctis when he catches him in dark corners of Lestallum or anywhere they’re alone and puts his hands on him. He falters, tries to reason with him (and himself) but it never quite makes it past his lips. It isn’t just Noctis that can’t pull himself away. There’s a lot of desperate rendezvous and hasty fucks and it’s never really enough but it’s a harsh reminder that their time is running short together.

The latter bit would remain true if they had gotten together during the road trip, I think. It would happen once, and then keep happening. And then, Prompto would finally stand up for himself:

“Noct, cut it out.” Prompto put a hand on Noctis’s chest to halt him and Noctis’s lashes fluttered in confusion.

“Something wrong?” he sounded annoyed, and Prompto knew he didn’t mean to. The day hadn’t been kind, and the closer they came to leaving Lucis behind, the more irritated Noctis grew. 

“Uh, yeah! Don’t you think it’s time we talked about this?” At that, Noctis sighed. They had successfully avoided it for weeks, but with their time together diminishing by the second, Prompto felt that now would be as good a time as any. He was relieved that as Noctis backed off he still remained close, agreeing.

There was a silence that hung between them for a while. Prompto had brought it up, but now what was he supposed to do? More than anything, he didn’t want to be in the way. If the prince had to marry because it would bring peace, then that’s what had to be done, and it would be selfish of him to keep Noctis from that. Thankfully, he didn’t have to stew on that thought for long. 

“I don’t love Luna, not the way…a husband should.” Noctis’s voice was harsh, though Prompto imagined it was because his throat was dry from nerves. Honestly, he was just thankful that their relationship, whatever it was, was on a level of trust that they could be this open with one another, at least when it was just the two of them. 

“I haven’t seen her in years. Sure, we kept in touch, but that isn’t a way to develop those kind of feelings. I care for her. Don’t get me wrong. But enough to marry her, spend my life with her, produce an heir…” Noctis shook his head, and Prompto didn’t miss the pink color that crept up his neck at the mention of probably having to sleep with her. “Maybe I could learn to if I have to, but right now…I don’t.” 

If he were being honest, Prompto had expected that much, at least, that’s what he had hoped. 

“So where do we go from here? What happens when we get on the boat?”

Noctis’s response was so immediate that Prompto had the sneaking suspicion that he had been thinking about that very thing rather heavily. 

“I don’t know. I don’t know, and I want to. I want to have an answer, but I just don’t.” Animosity and pain had shone in Noctis’s eyes and Prompto felt his heart sink. He had tried this long to be supportive, to be what he thought Noctis wanted him to be, but seeing him hurt like that, torn and struggling…it broke his heart.

I hope this kind of answers your question. I don’t know if it’s considered cheating, since Noctis and Luna are technically not in a relationship and were just TOLD they were going to marry, but I don’t think either of the boys are out to maliciously hurt her or her feelings, either. They’re 20 year old boys that just want to play video games and be bros when all is said and done. Not really an age to be making wedding plans, to be honest.
