Assassin's Creed Unity: Killing criminals is okay, but killing the king and the queen who are against the human rights, have slaves, live in luxury, don't care about the people starving, and have started a war in the goal to have as much of their people killed as revenge for asking for equality? Bad, very bad. Killing nobles that never cared about their people and treated them like sub-humans? Bad. Killing poor peoplz who had enough of being exploited? Okay, totally fine! The way the people murdered the minister of finance was barbaric and shame on them! (Let's forget he told them that they didn't deserve to eat better than his horses because their life have less value. Yep, that's something he said and that's why the people killed him.) Less judge the violence of the people while turning a blind eye to the violence of the privileges, oky?
#assassin's creed unity#assassin's creed#my ramblings#The mechanics are the only reasons I'm still playing at this point#but I'm so fucking mad this is the message they gave people#there's a mission to kill the guy who told French Marie-Antionette was trying to flee...#SHE ASKED HER BROTHER TO KILL FRENCH PEOPLE AND WAS VERY AGAINST EQUAL RIGHTS#The assassins: we are fighting for freedom* (*freedom in the usa sense that only the rich are free)#DID THEY TRY TO MAKE NAPI'S COUP D'ETAT SOUNDS REASONABLE??? REALLY??? WTF#WTF DO THEY ACT AS IF HAVING TO SAY “Vive la République !” IS AWFUL??? WE STILL SAY THAT!!#NGL this is the proof this game was propaganda because of the Iraq war

i am 99% sure the moment every Unity player had gotten the Shay outfit, we all envisioned an AU where he was Elise's Templar bodyguard
#i swear every mission i had with Elise i made Arno wear the coolest outfit he has#the hood of his fathers killer UvU#the almost perfect world where we would have gotten a different type of romance between Elise and Arno#a romance involving a princess and her knight sorta vibe#arno victor dorian#ac unity#elise de la serre#assasins creed#assassins creed unity#shay cormac

Ya idu kuda sam tsar' idet peshkom ("It stinks")
(title from the Tom Lehrer song Lobachevsky)
For the home of a society of assassins, the underground chambers of the council were remarkably clean. Maybe the deep red carpets had been chosen to hide bloodstains, or maybe his fellows were just more conscientious than he was. Arno’s half-smile was a little vindictive as he trudged up the stairs, squelching with each step.
“Le Roi des Thunes is dead.” He announced from the doorway, dripping.
“Glad to hear of your success.” Mirabeau half-nodded from his seat at the table. “Did you learn anything—what in the name of god is that smell?”
“I had the pleasure of traipsing through half the city’s sewers.” Arno brushed a lock of loose hair off where it was plastered to his face. It left a trail. “But I thought it best not to delay.”
“Clean yourself.” Mirabeau waved a magnanimous hand. “We can meet further in the morning.”
“Of course, mentor.” He dipped his head and spun on his heels. He'd rinse himself in one of the fountains before subjecting the Café to this stench.
#assassin's creed unity#arno dorian#hello he's eaten my brain in the past three days#so have a little drabble inspired by “I've been to the Paris sewer museum and did that whole mission with a vivid memory of that smell”#i'm counting this for#six sentence sunday#my writing

i think a commom thread in the assassin’s creed games i like the best is how colourful they are (and if there’s a pirate ship) revelations is so so beautiful and so is black flag and unity and yeah no wonder i’m such a slut for those games i want to sit in my dark room and experience the thing only light can show
#i mean ac2 is my favourite hands down but for (insert 8 hour video essay) reasons#but idk playing black flag and unity especially is just so 🫶#i sometimes forget i have a mission because i’m just!!! oh!!! a thing#games with a sandbox feeling that are not open world do you get me??#i like how ac is like yeah the city is here but if you go to this area you get desynchronised because it’s not part of the memory#🥰🥰 lore-consistent game mechanics kissing her#cas plays assassin’s creed

I just discovered that napoleon was in the assassins creed unity game I never have played assassin's creed before so it came as a suprise to see photos of him in game on Pinterest i initially thought it was a mod or smth but no he really was in the game lmaoo
After watching some vids of him in game I do really think that assassin's creed did do napoleon pretty good personality wise definitely in that mission where your supposed to follow napoleon while he walking with a women and hearing how hes a terrible conversationlist with women I was chuckling the whole time hes so akward😭
I got all of my scenes from this video if want to check it out:

Assassin’s Creed Unity fans know of the absolutely torture it was to complete “The Tournament” side mission in single-player mode (particularly the obstacle course portion…I was quaking with rage) But at least I got to see these handsome men, so it was worth it 😍
Bonus: Me after throwing a smoke bomb and then watching the guards freak out when they can't find me when the smoke clears

// 10 People I'd like to know better //
I got tagged by @kbthebearcat and @captain-clandestiny THANK YOU GUYS
🎧Last song🎧: I am not sure to be honest 😭 i was listening a mixed playlist on shuffle but i last remember listening to return to forever and when i fall in love
🎨Favorite color🎨: THE ONE AS MY BLOG BACKGROUND i am obsessed 💔 AND A WARMER TONE OF MUSTARD YELLOW tbh all the natural colors really 🤭
📚last book📚: I am not much of a reader, but i read "Ağrı Dağı Efsanesi" as homework. (Browsed the recap but sshhh)
🍿Last movie🍿: Ugh i am so embarrassed but Sonic 3. MY FRIENDS FORCED ME OKAY?!. Like you can't expect someone who likes "The Game", "Silence of the lambs", "there will be blood", "Jane Eyre" etc to like such a movie- i am REALLY picky about what i watch. But yeah it was Sonic 3 I'm sorry 💀
📺 Last tv show 📺: It was "Baby Raindeer" i guess... It was alright.
🍔 sweet/spicy/savory 🍔: Savory 😌
🌀Current obsession🌀: ASSASSIN'S CREED ASSASSIN'S CREED ASSASSIN'S CREED ASSASSIN'S CREED ASSASSIN'S CREED
Finished the ezio trilogy and now playing unity and black flag. Torturing myself by replaying missions (in unity) over and over until i perfectly ghost them. People hate that game for some reason but i like it a lot tbh
🔍 Last thing searched 🔍:

I was answering the ask then i called Hargrove "passed away recently". i was sure it was not as "recently" so i searched to find out. 2018 was the date. He was such a nice trumpeter. I found about him after coming up with Roy and now one of his songs i think is roy if he was a song. Here's the song for those wondering !
👀looking forward to👀: nothing specific. But i am curious about the gt of that upcoming fable game. Probably can't afford it and don't have the hardware to run it so I'll watch the gameplays 💀

give assassin’s creed to the girlies i am so serious right now. i’ll make basim of respectable dilfing age and romanceable. i’ll make elise de la serre playable in unity and elise lafleur romanceable in liberation bc you know aveline has the assassin gene of being a whore for redheads. in fact i’ll make unity with milf aveline as a mentor and she’ll bond with arno over their beloved elises. connor shows up too. siege of paris, eivor joins the assassins bc she realizes she’s already been fighting their fight for so long and glory is worthless. we’re bringing ciara back to ravensthorpe. dawn of ragnarok gets deleted we’re getting a devastating dlc in which alfred destroys ravensthorpe and eivor flees to vinland bc she has nothing left. then another dlc with hytham expanding the british brotherhood. we’re getting a bayek sequel but really it’s an aya sequel bc she deserves to be a protagonist. we’re getting the kassidas romance. we’re getting the shao jun game. we’re getting the paola game and using the persona system to the max. we’re getting the persona system from liberation in every game actually. syndicate now has the main missions equally split between evie and jacob. we bringing juno back to serve some more cunt. we’re doing math before estabishing a character’s age. get in bitches

#last day of the year time to bring all my deranged ideas togethee#and i refused to leave out the whorish ones#.txt#no bc if this basim incident doesn’t prove how disjointed and messy and frankly silly the lore and overall story is…

Okay so this has nothing to do with your writing at all (I’m sorry 😭) and feel free to ignore this if it’s just too random, but I’m truly so curious what other games besides BG3 you have potentially really loved and enjoyed? Do you have any favorite games of all time?? I’m just so curious about it because I *adore* your writing and I know that obviously the media we consume can influence us and inspire us, so I was just curious what games have perhaps had that kind of impact on you (if any).
Anyways, have a wonderful day!!!! 🤗
Omg no worries, don’t apologize! And thank you so much for reading and being so so kind!! 🥰
I would love to share my faves! 🥹 here are some in no particular order: (other than BG3 ofc!)
-Red Dead Redemption 2 - not a unique opinion by any means, but I think this was a masterpiece. The story is mostly realistic (emotionally speaking anyway), gritty, and incredibly well-written/acted. I am a big Rockstar Games girly because the amount of detail you find and freedom you have in their open worlds is just 🤯 it’s really a cinematic experience and it’s a visual and auditory triumph tbh. And the heavy moral lessons lingering in the background? Is it ever too late to be good and do good? Just 😮💨 perfection. This game is elite and idk if there’ll ever be a match for it.
- Mass Effect Trilogy - Commander Shepard is perhaps my fave video game protagonist ever (Jennifer Hale, the woman that you are 🥵). The fact that you get to spend an entire trilogy shaping her arc in a space soap opera/political drama/action flick??? It’s a story about tolerance, greed, technology and evolution, humanity, love….it has really deep writing at times, and it’s probably my fave sci-fi work ever, as well as one of the best gaming experiences I’ve ever had !! It was perfect, to me, despite glaring holes in the writing at times lol. And I don’t have faith in whatever’s coming next from this franchise ☺️
Dragon Age: Basically was always mass effect’s high fantasy equivalent, in my mind, sans the enjoyable process of getting to see the same protagonist again and again- which I didn’t mind! It hit all the high fantasy notes for me, and I really enjoyed the world building and the stories. BUT disclaimer- my opinion regarding the game is unpopular af lol. My personal ranking (best to worst): Inquisition, Origins, 2, and finally Veilguard- which I personally hated and don’t acknowledge as part of the franchise 😅 (just my opinion and I’m very happy for all who found joy in it!!)
-Dishonored 1 & 2: Some of the cleanest, most fluid, and most satisfying gameplay/combat I’ve ever seen. I loooove the mechanics, controls, and the story is dark/the worldbuilding is unique! 2 is extra special because playing as Emily is just 👌 There are limitless ways to execute missions- you could play the entire game unseen!! And the soundtrack is perfect and unsettling. I love this series a lot!! They just have a unique vibe and feel to them.
-Assassin’s Creed-: my relationship to this franchise is wild lol. I started when I was like 10?? I think?? The first one, while repetitive, is great for establishing the lore and introducing the concept. AC 2 and Brotherhood were the reeeally fun ones, IMO. I loved the story and was intrigued! Revelations marks the beginning of the end (for me!!! Not everyone else! Can’t stress this enough lol). The plot running parallel to the assassins just gets so convoluted beyond this point that I lost track and never cared to pick it back up. I played some afterwards: syndicate was meh, unity was meh, didn’t play again till the Greek one- and Kassandra was a wonderful breath of air! But story wise I just…never cared again 😅 take that as you will.
-Cyberpunk 2077-: smooth and fun gameplay (which I heard wasn’t always the case lol), and the story is ambitious as hell. Really neat concepts, relevant criticism of capitalist rot and USA in general, steamy romances, and great VA. If I wanted to write a sci-fi novel (which I eventually do!) I think I’d look to cyberpunk for some cues. It felt really unique and fresh to me!
-Witcher 3-: I’m a fake fan and jumped on the third game bandwagon but it was SO fun and satisfying, no regrets! Story is rich, characters are well acted and deep, and it was instantly likable.
-Skyrim-: I really feel this one is self explanatory lol. I will say that I lean slightly towards RPGs that are fully active/have a VA for the protag, but this is the golden exception, isn’t it? I never played oblivion or any of the others so I am in fact a poser but this was my JAM back in the day lol
-Starfield- Despite the controversy, I did enjoy the game and it opened up so many doors for me in terms of writing and developing an OC within the universe. I liked the characters, the plot, the nods to science, and felt it was a great sandbox for a writer to really play with. It’s as beautiful as you make it.
Honorable mentions: Telltale’s The Walking Dead (far superior to the show imo), Clair Obscur (haven’t made a dent yet but the music and visuals are stunning!!!), L.A. Noire (cool plot and really good soundtrack), GTA V, Unraveled, Until Dawn, Ghost of Tsushima, Detroit, bunch of multiplayer games like CoD, etc.
#I hope this isn’t disappointing #I never really got into a couple of games#TLOU and HZD being two prime examples#I have no idea why#but hey I’m always open to recs!!#thank you for asking 🥹#I feel I’m missing some big ones but 🤷🏻♀️#ask#anonymous

Thinking about the throwaway line from AC Unity - Bellec says "that was the Levantine approach before Altaïr." In reference to Arno publicly assassinating Sivert and being executed for it.
How many assassins did Al Mualim train? And how many of them did he see sacrifice their lives, trading themselves for a strategic advantage? Dozens, maybe hundreds of trainees, dying in the service of a Creed. Who wouldn't use the Apple to make sure it never happened again?
Thinking about Malik, permanently disabled by Altaïr's actions but now no longer able to give his life for the Creed. On some level, is he grateful to Altaïr for preserving his life? Or does a small part of him hate Altaïr for preventing him from taking the Creed to its logical conclusion?
Was Abbas preparing to take his final mission when Al Mualim was overthrown? How many assassins refused to accept the teaching of their new Mentor?
I dislike Bellec in general so maybe he's just a liar. But it doesn't mean i can't think about it
