Gameplay Overview

Your Sims will now generate laundry if their hygiene is low enough. This requires the Laundry Global Mod (offered separately from the objects) as well as a Laundry-related object being present on the lot.

Sims may store their laundry in a hamper. Sometimes automatically if it's close enough and your Sim is inclined to be neat....

Wash and dry your clothes: a variety of both historic and modern, manual and mechanical ways to wash and dry your laundry are included.

Tired of the laundry piling up? Simply place a "Laundry-Begone-Box" on your lot and your Sims will no longer generate laundry!

Laundry Global Mod

The global mod is the backbone of the laundry system. You will need it in order to have your sims produce laundry. As it is a Global Mod, it is in its own rar. The Laundry Mod also has various trait-related features for you to enjoy:

Washers, Dryers, Tubs and Lines

Your Sims may wash their laundry using a wide variety of both manual tubs and modern washers. Both of these require detergent to use. Of course, after your laundry has been washed, you can dry them using either a dryer or a line. Just make sure not to hang your laundry outside on a rainy day. Just a small overview of the features offered:

Laundromat mode: run your own laundromat business at home or on a community lot! Sims will actually wash their dirty laundry! Of course, it works for visiting Sims too!

NEW: @anachronisims Big Spender Trait now effects the likelihood of a Sim using a laundromat machine

NEW: Stock your washer or tub with a detergent of your choice; no longer will you need an entire box of detergent for a small load, now one detergent will last multiple loads!

NEW: 2 extra detergents have been added. You can now choose between a Box or Bottle of detergent, Soap Solution or even a Baggy of Soap Nuts!

NEW: The fabulous @jellymeduza has created a fantastic little ceiling rack for drying your laundry

This set also comes with a "Color Controller". This object allows you to choose the look of not only your newly-spawned laundry, but also how the fabric on your drying lines looks like! Use only ONE per lot.

Bonus

Another new feature is the (optional) support for @lazyduchess Laundry token: players with FT installed, have the option of downloading his laundry mod and getting the same slower motive decay for comfort when changing into different clothes using our fresh outfit object. Players without FT and/or this token will get a small bonus to the comfort motive instead. This is NOT available for MAC-users! Note that the work was generally in a hurry: the Floyd team continued to work on Atom Heart Mother, touring interfered with the studio schedule every now and then — there was simply no time to hone the songs, and Barrett himself, as we remember, was against long rehearsals. Sometimes haste led to serious mistakes — for example, one day Dave took home master tapes with two songs to listen and decide whether these options would be included in the album; the next day the band went to a concert, and Gilmore simply forgot to return the tape to the studio. As for Sid, sometimes they played absolutely magical things, and sometimes they were unable to give out anything meaningful at all (for example, the song Gigolo Auntie Gigolo was recorded only from the 15th time). He phrased his comments as if he were describing paintings rather than music: "Maybe we could make the middle darker and the end a little noonday. It's too windy and frosty right now."

I must say, the record begins intriguingly — with a long solo by Sid before the song Baby Lemonade ("A little bottle of lemonade" is an outdated expression). Subsequently, it turned out that Sid was just warming up — the solo had nothing to do with the song, David had already added it there, considering it quite suitable. The lyrics are full of extravagant phrases like "I sent you an iron cage by mail" or about "A watch washed in a washing machine" — but overall the song sounds pretty strong. The solo is simply brilliant — what kind of shape Sid could be in and how at ease he could play!

It is followed by a downright beautiful and almost Beatle Love Song, decorated with stylish Rick Wright keys - a love song in which there are no fabulous, witty or scabrous lines (except that "I'll lower my head and see what I see"). The musicians also succeeded in Dominoes, a meditative story about how Sid spends time with a certain girl, to whom the song is dedicated, playing dominoes. The song has a distinctly bluesy undertone — there is something of Doors in it - and besides, it is decorated with a reverse solo by Sid. However, everything is not so simple: it turned out that at some point Gilmore was so exhausted that he naturally felt like his roof was going away, and automatically started recording an almost finished song backwards. The next thing he remembered of that evening was Sid playing a delightful solo and never getting it right, and pressing the record button. That's how it was included on the album — because Barrett didn't squeeze out another note about it. Against this background, the fragment forgotten in the finished mix, where Sid clears his throat, is already taken for granted.

Alas, the feeling does not last long on the album, as if this time Sid's associates had found an approach to him and solid ground under their feet. It Is Obvious ("It's obvious") is an extremely loose song in which Sid plays exactly two chords and recites lines in an incredibly low voice, which still have a hint of something magical, but in general the text is saturated with longing and despair. Rats ("Rats") It grew out of jam, to which Sid came up with a somewhat manic text on the go. To be honest, maybe it would have been better if she had remained a jam. As well as the closing side of Maisie, there is another, now blues jam, over which Sid speaks, sniffles, giggles and makes other inarticulate sounds. All that can be said about this track is look at Sid playing the blues (which is not surprising, knowing the origin of the band's name), while Pink Floyd quite rarely turned to this genre.

Suddenly, on the second side (how many people got there), a quite tolerable Gigolo Aunt is discovered. The lyrics here, of course, are nothing more than sweet carefree nonsense, but at least it feels like a song. I would like to comb my hair a little and... but at least stop. Unless it's unknown why it's been going on for so long — is it really just to preserve the priceless fragments of Sid's game on film as much as possible?

Waving my arms in the air — well, while Sid is waving his arms in the air in another song, mine are sinking, because it's impossible to describe. This is a good preparation for a cute song about this and that, in which there is a minimum of certainty ("no one will strain too much, there will be many things that we can do") and the obligatory naive question at the end ("Why am I here? What is destined to happen?"), but no more.

I don't know if it's worth saying anything about the remaining recordings. I Never Lied to You ("I Never Lied to you") is another song about longing and separation, in which the musicians frantically try to play along with the author of the album, as if on the move. Wined and Dined ("Dined with Wine") is based on a cute riff that Sid handles quite confidently throughout the recording. Gilmore is known to play solo here. In general, we must admit that it is quite neatly recorded — the instruments complement each other well, and the omissions in their parts form a complete sound picture. The song Wolfpack ("Wolf Pack") Sid named among his favorites — perhaps the lyrics are really good, but the sound ... hug and cry. He is perfectly described by a comment from a certain fan of the song:

— Sid: Trying to sing normally — The pack in formation

— Little gremlin in a side head: thE PACK IN FORMATIIIOOOON!

Oh, Sid, which one of them is the real you?

And this piece ends with a song called Effervescing elephant ("Effervescent Elephant"). Here we must honestly admit that we have a brilliant text in front of us. This is an absolutely delightful fairy tale, quite in the spirit of Sid's enthusiastic English absurdity — but it also sounds like a demo at best; and it's great that Vic Savell played the tuba here. It was very convenient.

It's a painful feeling, isn't it?

Maybe it was worth choosing more or less finished things and putting together one of the two albums. Who knows? What is destined to happen?

So that's what happened when the talented English kid Syd Barrett returned to the studio to record some songs a few trips later. This time, Sid's own drawing is used on the cover — he painted these charming creatures a few years earlier during his studies. If you look closely, it turns out that all these winged creatures are beetles. On the reverse side, a picture of Mick Rock with the same Pontiac Parisienne is used. Interestingly, Mick Rock is not listed in the credits of the album, and in general Hipgnosis's involvement in this art is not noted anywhere, but pay attention to the inscription of the author's name and the album title on the backdrop! Practically Bond)

The album was released on November 14 and was met with restraint, if not coldly. He did not manage to become a little more afternoon, as poor Sid wanted. The album did not hit any charts and achieved nothing — the more surprising that even after such a result, Sid had to comment on rumors about the third album and new singles for some time (however, oddly enough, Barrett became more successful from a commercial point of view than Madcap). Answering reporters' questions, Barrett reasoned unexpectedly sensibly: he dismissed all rumors about the third album, saying that the songs for recording must meet a certain standard — and if there are a couple of decent ones on "Madman", then on the second album there are only echoes. Perhaps there is nothing more to add — after 1970, Syd Barrett did not record anything.

As for the rest of the Floyd's, Roger Waters, for example, continued his collaboration with Ron Gisin and recorded the soundtrack to the film "The Body" with him. In particular, there is a composition called… Breathe!

Let's just note that all four Floyd members took part in the recording of the final song — Give Birth To A Smile ("Give Life To a Smile"); this is the rarest case when one of the other band members went to participate in Roger's activities unrelated to the band (not to mention the whole band — by the way, the participation of David, Nick and Rick is not noted in any way in the design of the album). In general, we mention this work because we need to fix it: in 1970, the Floyd's, despite the release of the first album in the band's discography, which took first place in the charts, were engaged in very different things. Nick Mason, thanks to Ron Gisin, immersed himself in producing, Wright and Gilmore, too, but thanks to Sid. Gilmore, Wright and Waters wrote one track per year for their own band — the title suite does not contain many personal contributions from Floyd's band. So, while the others were producing, Waters wrote songs: there are four of them on Music from The Body — Sea Shell and Stone, Chain of Life, Breathe and Give Birth to a Smile. He also released a concept album in which the tracks merge into each other — and this album was even released on vinyl with a transparent anatomical mannequin on the cover.

Pink Floyd spent the rest of the year on endless, exhausting tours. Therefore, when they returned to the studio in January 1971 — it was time to make a new album — the four guys found that they had absolutely nothing to record.

Emily groans as they walk into their apartment, stretching her arms over her head as she watches Aaron walk past her. There was a tension in his frame that usually wasn’t present in their home, anger that he had not so subtly carried back with him all the way from San Fransisco, much heavier than the weight of both of their go-bags slung over his shoulder as he heads for the laundry room. 

She’d watched as he got more and more frustrated as the case went on, as if working with Sam Cooper and his team hadn’t originally been his idea. She knew it was mostly to do with Mick Rawson, his flirting with her at any given opportunity relentless, despite the fact she was now undeniably visibly pregnant and unresponsive. Part of her was surprised Mick hadn’t actually turned into stone because of how Aaron had been staring at him, the lines between their professional and personal lives blurred as he clenched his fists by his side whenever Mick spoke to her in Cooper’s team's office. Whatever tension had been building in Aaron only got worse after they returned from the takedown, his jaw as tight as she’d ever seen it as Mick bragged about how he’d saved JJ’s life, a smirk on his face as he winked at Emily across the room. 

She smiles as she feels the now familiar, but still incredible, bubbling sensation in her stomach, and she places her hand on her bump. 

“Hi Nugget,” she hears the door to the washing machine being closed with more force than necessary and she shakes her head as she rubs a circle on her stomach, “Let’s go see why Daddy is so grumpy.” She walks towards the living room and stretches again, her body sore from the uncomfortable mattress in their hotel room and the long flight home. She sits on the couch and smiles as Aaron walks out of the laundry room, stopping him on his journey to the kitchen by holding her hand out to him, “Come sit with me for a bit.” 

A small smile flashes across his face, “It’s late you need to eat-”

“Please,” she says, knowing it’s playing dirty, that he’d never deny her, “Just for a little bit and then I’ll eat whatever balanced, healthy thing you have planned for dinner.” 

He sighs and nods as he joins her on the couch. She leans into his side and smiles as his hand automatically finds its way to her belly. Ever since she’d started to feel the baby move a couple of weeks ago he was desperate to feel it himself and it made her heart flip in her chest, the love he felt for her and their unborn child was enough to make her want to burst into tears at any given moment. She places her hand over his and rests her head against his shoulder and she hates that he’s still tense, that there's still a tightness in how he is holding himself together.

“You shouldn’t let him get to you,” she says carefully, running her fingers in circles over the back of his hand. 

“Who?” He asks, his voice gruff in the same way it had been since he’d watched Mick flirt with her as he passed her a bottle of ginger ale whilst everyone else drank beer before they left California. 

“Rawson.”

He clenches his teeth and swallows thickly, pushing down bitter jealousy that he knows he shouldn’t feel, “I wasn’t letting him get to me.” 

She laughs and looks at him, her eyebrows raised in challenge, “Seriously, honey? Because at one point I thought the guy was going to turn to stone.” 

He sighs and looks at her, well aware that he was caught out. He’d never been able to keep how he felt from her, not even when they first met. He now knew that was one of the reasons he hated being around her at first, so unfamiliar with the feeling of being an open book, of being so easily read, that it made him not trust her. Now he, usually, loves it. Glad that after a lifetime of being misunderstood, of slowly watching Haley understand him less and less as they grew apart, that he had someone who could see through the walls he’d built when he was too young to realise he’d even picked up the tools. 

He knew Emily loved him, and he trusted her. He knew she’d never stray, that she was loyal and kind, and that she wanted this life they were building together. But there was still a voice in the back of his head telling him that he wasn’t good enough for her. That she could do better. 

And he lived in fear of her one day realising that. 

“It’s just…” he says, shaking his head at himself, laughing bitterly at his own insecurities, “He’s your type.” 

She pulls away from him, her eyebrows shooting into her hairline as irritation licks at her insides, her emotional control no longer entirely her own thanks to her raging hormones. 

“My type?”

Aaron hears the barely disguised annoyance in her voice and he sighs, “He’s handsome, and cocky and British and…I don’t know. I could see you going for a guy like him.” 

She stares at him, her mouth open as she chuckles humourlessly, her eyes narrowed, “You do remember I’m pregnant with your baby right?” She asks, glaring at him as she holds up her left hand, her engagement ring sparkling on her finger, “I’m engaged to you. I signed the fucking paperwork to buy us our dream house last week. You have got to be-”

“Em, sweetheart,” he says, cutting her off and placing his hand on her thigh before she can spiral any further into anger, “I know. And I’m not saying…” he blows out a steady breath, “I trust you. I’m worried that one day you might realise you settled for me, when you could have had someone who is worthy of you.” 

Any annoyance, any anger at him for what she had thought he was implying, drains out of her, causing her to visibly deflate in front of him. She feels tears press at the back of her eyes and a sound that was somewhere between a laugh and a sob escapes her. It makes her ache. Like she wants to cry and fight everyone who ever hurt him, anyone who ever made him feel like he was anything less than exactly who she’d been looking for her whole life. 

“You think you aren’t good enough for me?” She asks, watching his face closely for a reaction. He looks down at their now joint hands in her lap and she sighs, shaking her head before she shifts forward. She cups his face and forces him to look at her, “Aaron, I love you-” 

“Em-”

“No, you’re going to listen to me,” she insists, shifting even closer to him, almost in his lap, “I love you. And I love our life and Jack and Nugget,” she says, both of them chuckling softly at the nickname, “And I wouldn’t want to do this with anybody else,” she scrunches up her nose in distaste, “Much less with Mick Rawson. And you’re the best man I’ve ever met,” she shakes her head at him when he scoffs, “You are. You’re kind, even though you don’t want anyone to know that. And you’re handsome and loving and really fucking good in bed. I will spend the rest of my life reminding you of all of that if you need me to.” 

He chuckles, leaning forward to press his forehead against hers, “The rest of your life?” 

She hums and nods, “The rest of my life. I don’t wear this ring just for decoration,” she says, kissing him, smiling against his lips, “So no need to get jealous about arrogant assholes in leather jackets, ok?” 

He nods, although he still feels the tendrils of insecurity wrapped around his lungs. “Ok.” 

“Good,” she says, kissing him once more before she shifts backwards, her hand on her stomach again, “Now make whatever gross healthy thing you were going to make for dinner, Nugget and I are hungry,” she groans as something in her back pulls, “And sore,” she grimaces as he stands up, “I might have to start packing that pregnancy pillow in my go-bag and put all my clothes in yours.” 

The mention of it makes him pause his journey towards the kitchen and he turns back to look at her, his hands on his hips as he watches her sit with one hand on her back and one on her belly. It brings back the fear he’d felt when he saw JJ have a gun pulled on her, well aware that if Emily had been out in the field it would have been her. She’d always been fearless in those situations, almost reckless with her own safety. 

And it terrified him.

She was relegated to the precinct wherever they want, something she had readily agreed to when they found out she was pregnant, but that didn’t mean she was out of danger. They’d had showdowns with unsubs in precincts before, they’d had them in the damn bullpen, and it made him feel like he couldn’t protect her. 

Like he couldn’t protect them. 

He clears his throat, knowing he’d have to tread carefully with any suggestion about changing what they’d agreed months ago. He walks towards the kitchen and opens the fridge, ready to start preparing dinner.

“You could always start staying behind with Garcia,” he says casually, pulling vegetables out of the fridge, “You know she’d love the company.” 

Emily sighs, closing her eyes as she breathes out slowly in an attempt to push down her irritation again. They had a plan. She would go on cases until she reached the start of her third trimster and then she’d stay back in Quantico until her maternity leave started. Then after the baby she’d start a job in another department, the details already on their way to being all lined up. 

It was something that they hadn’t told the team yet. 

She knew it was what she wanted, what was right for her and her baby, but it was still a tough decision. She loved her job, she loved the family she had found in the team that came along with it, but she loved her baby more. She’d made the choice her mother had never been able to make for her. 

They had a plan.

“We said we’d wait until I was 28 weeks,” she says tensely, standing up and crossing her arms over her chest as she joins him in the kitchen, “I’m only 19 weeks.” 

He looks up at her from the kitchen counter, “I know, but-”

“But nothing,” she cuts him off, “We agreed. You can’t just…change your mind.” 

He sighs, placing his hands on the counter, “JJ almost got shot today.” 

She scoffs, “So…what, you think you have to protect us now?” She asks, her lungs stuffed full of anger, “I am perfectly capable of protecting the baby. In fact, protecting Nugget is entirely on me at the moment,” she seethes, pointing at her stomach, “I am staying behind doing victimology on every damn case in those precients that smell like bad coffee and men who haven’t discovered what deodorant is. I am taking all the damn prenatal vitamins and eating all the fucking rabbit food you are making me because I know it’s the best thing for my kid,” she shakes her head at herself as she wipes tears from her cheeks, her frustration burning hot against her skin, “So don’t act like I would do anything to put us in danger.” 

Aaron feels guilt vibrate in his chest and he walks over to her, placing his hands on her waist as he pulls her in, grateful when she doesn’t shy away from his touch. A sign he needed that at least some of her anger was fuelled by her hormones. 

“I know that, sweetheart,” he says, assuring her, “I know.”

She nods, blowing out a breath as she feels the anger pass as quickly as it had appeared, replaced with something she can’t even name as tears continue to fall down her cheeks. 

“I’m not ready to be done with the BAU, Aaron. And as soon as I stop going on cases that’s it. I’ll be helping, but…I won’t be part of the team anymore really.” she says, leaning into his palm as he cups her cheek, “I know leaving is the right thing to do. I want to do it, I want to…” she chokes on a laugh, “I want to be different to my mom.”

He sighs, his guilt only increasing as he tightens his hold on her, his fingers trailing through her hair. He kisses her temple, soothing her with nonsense against her skin until she stops crying. 

“You already are, Em. You’re putting the baby first and Nugget isn’t even born yet.” He says, and nods against him, grasping at the back of his shirt, the lack of contact with her mother louder than it had ever been. Elizabeth’s choice once again clear. He pulls back from her and kisses her forehead. “28 weeks.” 

She smiles at him, relief unfurling in her stomach, and she wipes her cheeks, “28 weeks.” 

He kisses her before he lets her go, walking back to the counter to carry on making dinner, “Come on, I’ll make your rabbit food and then you can have some ice cream.”

“With sprinkles?” She asks, taking a seat on one of the stools at the kitchen counter, having to balance herself slightly differently than she usually would. 

He raises an eyebrow at her, “On your salad?” 

She rolls her eyes and laughs, the exact response he’d been looking for, “On my ice cream, you jerk.”

Linear Bottle Washing Machine

Pharmaceutical businesses use linear bottle washing machine, also known as linear bottle washers, extensively. These machines are best suited for round vials. Jaskier and his Snuggly Wuggly Killing Machines Part 16

Spin-off of our work Jaskier and the Snuggly Wuggly Killing Machines!!!!

Jaskier has some of his fellow musicians over and his manager, Rosemary (Miss Rose). Eskel and Geralt go to cuddle and nap in the basement. But Geralt won't cuddle with him! Eskel come up to Jaskier crying for some loves but Jaskier tries to send him up to bed early! Miss Rose to the rescue with snuggles.

“Well boys you can go take a nice nap and I’ll come wake y’all up when everyone leaves. Lammy and Aiden, you can go ahead and be upstairs. I’m gonna turn on The Peabody and Sherman Show down here if you want to stay. Just stay in one place okay? I’m going to be very busy.” Jaskier explained to the pups as they washed up from being outside. They got rather icky today, given they were all almost naked and sweaty rolling around in dust and sand. So each got a shower and their hair brushed out by Vesemir. The older witcher had been picked up earlier though, dental appointment or something.  

Geralt, who was scratching absently at his own stomach hairs, nodded and yawned. He had decided that he really only needed to wear a pair of grey sweatpants. Eskel was pulling his head through his heavy wine red knit sweater, he hadn’t bothered with pants but put on a pair of plain black boxer briefs. Lambert, who was helping Aiden pick out a short, was clad in his favorite grey fluffy socks, green plaid boxer shorts, and a snuggly grey cotton sweatshirt. And Aiden, getting pulled into wearing a pair of borrowed black sweatpants and a Champion brand t-shirt. 

“Um… we’re gonna go to Lam’s room.” Aiden said and walked out of the bathroom and across to Lambert’s room. The other cat was close behind him. Geralt and Eskel snicker at them and smiled over at Jaskier. Geralt walks by him and gives him a kiss on the cheek. 

“I’m so tired, daddy. I’m gonna make a nice nest and sleep.” Geralt says tiredly, his eyelids drooped. He had run himself to exhaustion. Surely he would be drowsy even after his nap. Geralt made his way down to the ground level and then to the basement door. Eskel hugs Jaskier and snuffles his hair with his nose. 

“I’ll go nap with Bear. I’m tired too. I wanna cuddle up with bubba.” Eskel says and yawns. He walks down to the basement and Jaskier follows him. 

“You’re such a sweetie. That’s alright. I’m gonna be up late tonight so get your cuddles in now. Maybe Lammy will let you sleep in his nest with Aiden tonight.” Jaskier said and set the TV to play the animated show. It was one of the boy’s favorites, so it should keep their attention should they wake up. 

Geralt was hauling out an armful of blankets to the already piled up pillows. Eskel automatically went to fix them into a large U-shape. Jaskier checked the small fridge that was near the TV. There were a few juice boxes, a half gallon of chocolate milk, waters, and plenty of puddings and cheese sticks. He looked over at the few snack baskets and they were moderately still full. He’d need to remember to buy more cheese crackers and popcorn��

“Alright, well darlings my friends are gonna be here soon. Have a nice nap, I love you both!” Jaskier said and watched the two flump down into their nest next to each other. He hopped up the stairs and closed the door behind him. He picked up the living room where a few pillows had been on the floor and he pulled out his wine glasses and made sure he had a few nice bottles pulled out in the fridge. He looked around and made sure Lambert and Aiden weren’t being too loud but he couldn’t hear anything. He clicked his stereo system on to play some quiet instrumental music. 

There was a knock at the door, signaling his bandmates were finally here. Jaskier happily walks over to the door and opens it smiling. 

“Welcome to my kinda new home! Come on in!” Jaskier calls out and steps aside to let everyone else in. Gwen and Alfie smiled and handed him a large bottle of honey rum (one of his favorites!) and walked into the living room, flopping down on his couch. His manager, Rosemary, walks in and gives him a great big hug and tells him “You have a beautiful home!” and she sits in the large cushiony black chair. Finally his drummer, Gino Patrick, walks up to him and engulfs in a big hug. 

“Hey man! Sorry I couldn’t make it to Valdo’s party! I was swamped with my taxes! I wouldn’t get my papers, it totally sucked. I’m so glad to hear that you’re back though! I heard about the uh… dogs? Bears? I dunno, I heard a lot about your new house mates.” The shorter man said and patted Jaskier on the back. Gino was a shorter man who always had something going on. He was only a few inches shorter than Jaskier but still. He had dark black hair and dark brown eyes that are always lined. Gino shoved a small bag into Jaskier’s hands. 

“Here’s a little somethin, somethin, from Mama. She’s been bored.” Gino said and walked in and said hello to everyone else. Jaskier looked down and noticed it was a few thin pieces of hand carved wood, guitar picks. Jaskier laughs and slips them into his pocket. 

“C’mon, house tourrrrrrr~” Gwen egged as Jaskier walked into the living room. He laughed and shook his head. 

“Fine. Whatever, c’mon losers.” Jaskier joked and motioned to be followed. Everyone stood to follow him. First he pointed over to the basement door but stood in front of it to make sure no one opened it. 

“This is the boy’s kinda playroom. They’ve got a TV and toys and stuff down there. I’d really like to show you guys cause it’s so cute but Bear, uh I mean Geralt and Eskel are sleeping and stuff down there right now. But yeah don’t go in there, it’s their safe space to relax and play.” Jaskier explained and Rosemary put her hand over her heart and ‘aw’ed. Everyone nodded and Jaskier showed them over to the kitchen where everyone grabbed a glass and he pulled out the chilled wine. 

“I kinda freaked out about safety before they came home so everything is both child proof and puppy proof so like yeah… lots of latches. Which by the way do not work when you have a two hundred pound beasty wanting a snack at 2 a.m.. I swear I thought one night a raccoon got in the house but no it was just Lambert scavenging for spaghetti Os.” Jaskier said and laughed. 

“Oh my gods… how do you even control them like… they’re huge. Gino they’re the size of volkswagens.” Gwen said and smacked the drummer's arm. He in return looked shocked and looked up at Jaskier. The singer sipped his wine and leaned back against the sink. 

“They’re so well behaved. I really don’t have to reprimand them all that much. Sometimes I have to kinda pull Eskel off of Lambert at night because he has a bad habit of like… rubbing himself on pillows and stuff at night and Lammy hates it and occasionally Geralt chews on the banister but really they’re very good listeners.” Jaskier says and the guitarist hums in understanding. 

“Oh he self soothes at night then? I’ve heard of cats doing that sometimes.” Alfie said and Jaskier nodded and walked to the recording studio and bathroom. They were the same as before he had renovated. Then he stepped onto the stairs but halted for a moment. 

“Um… Maybe we can not go up there. Lambert and Aiden are… They canoodle in Lambert’s bedroom and let’s just say they like to be left alone. It’s just their bedrooms, their bathroom, and then my bedroom still. I really just added onto the back.” Jaskier said and Gwen, Alfie, and Gino all looked shocked. Jaskier started to walk to the backyard but the guitarist grabbed his arm. 

“You let them have sex? What if one of them gets pregnant? You already have three, you couldn’t manage a litter!” Gwen whisper yells and the other two nodded. Rosemary smirked and put her hand over her mouth. Jaskier giggled a bit but shook his head and answered. 

“They’re witchers. They’re sterile. They’re all neutered. Completely. Plus they’re just boys, no worries.” Jaskier said and walked to the back deck. It was getting dark now so the air was much cooler than it was earlier. 

“I added onto the porch and ya know… decorated. Eskel keeps asking for more planters and he takes such good care of his flowers so it’s really pretty out here. That’s their sand pit, and they were wrestling in the big mud puddle earlier today. They always put their toys up and keep the deck clean and everything too.” Jaskier said as everyone went around to look at the large variety of plants and hanging baskets. Vesemir had brought the eldest boy a few books on botany and grafting plants and propagation, since then he was really into planting. There were a few large pots around the railing that held lush green flowerless varieties and there were baskets hanging off the railing with small colorful flowers and hanging baskets of plants that spilled over the lip of the pot to hang down. Jaskier loved to sit back here and watch Eskel water them and clip and cut and poke cuttings into different boxes. There were many bowl shaped pots that lined the outer wall that had many varieties of babies growing and putting on new leaves. 

“Woah dude, it did this by itself? That’s awesome man!” Gino said which Jaskier smiled at but corrected him. 

“He, Gino, He did it by himself. But yes, yes he did. A much older witcher that comes over often, he gave Eskel a few books on plants and he just has a knack for it.” Jaskier said. 

They sat and talked on the porch for a while before they traveled back to the kitchen for more wine that ended up just being brought to the living room. They spent hours drinking and talking. Art, new artists on the music scene, gossip, drama, family, social life, everything Jaskier had missed. 

Jaskier was sitting on the loveseat with his manager and everyone else spread out in the room. He was saying something about a new line of guitars that he saw but the basement door opened and a pouting Eskel walked out. His ears were drooped down and his tail was sagging behind him. He kept his head down until he walked over to Jaskier. 

“Hey baby, what’s up? Why're you pouting?” Jaskier said, concerned. Eskel looked so down in the dumps. He could tell by the way he was chewing on his own lip that he wasn’t quite out of his softer mindset. Eskel sniffled and kept his eyes on Jaskier’s knees. 

“Geralt kept shoving me ‘way from him and he wouldn’t let me under the blankie and he snapped ta me when I tried to cuddle him and he won’t let me hold him and and and-” Eskel said in a hush rushed voice. Tears prickled his eyes and started to fall by the time he was done. Everyone in the room was quiet. Jaskier stood up and hugged him, though the pup didn’t hug back but instead kept crying and sniffling. 

“Aw, poor thing. Well maybe he’ll want to cuddle later tonight. How about you go get a bath upstairs and you can watch a show in your room till it’s bedtime? How’s that sound?” Jaskier said quietly as he thumbed away his tears. Eskel sniffled and shook his head. Everyone else was whispering around them and Jaskier was about to suggest it more but Rosemary stood up and shooed away Jaskier’s hands. She lifted his face up to look at her and his face relaxed some.

“You poor little baby! Oh you just need some lovin’ don’t you? Come here, you can come sit with me. Shoo stinky ole daddy away and you can sit right here.” The woman said and shoved Jaskier’s shoulder and sat Eskel right next to her. Jaskier looked at her in surprise for a moment but decided to go sit on the couch with Gwen and Alfie. 

Eskel smiled and happily let her situate him. He was sitting on one side of her and his legs were thrown over her lap. She pulled his head to rest on her collarbone. She cooed at him slightly and had one hand in his hair to rub the bases of his ears and the other rubbed up and down on the outside of his thigh. Eskel purred loudly and closed his eyes. 

Jaskier watched with his mouth open in disbelief. Gwen reached over and closed his mouth with her hand. Jaskier just stared and threw his hands up. 

“I’m being replaced!” Jaskier said dramatically. Everyone, void Rosemary, laughed and joked at him that he stank and that he was ugly and such. All the while Rosemary pet gently around Eskel’s ears and the pup flicked his tail up into her hand. 

“Aw what a soft tail. Do you brush it? So pretty, yeah, you are so pretty.” Rose whispered quietly to the pup as he purred and snuffled into her exposed collarbone. She was wearing a soft red gingham a-line dress that had a square cut neckline. The fabric was so nice to Eskel… It made Rose look like a lovely lady right out of a picture book. Eskel had a handful of the skirt fabric in his hands, rolling it back and forth in his fingers. 

“Oh soft ears too. You’re just a big fluffy baby, aren’t you. Just need some pets, huh.” Rose whispered again and kissed his forehead. This caused Eskel to freeze. His breath was still in his lungs and his eyes were wide open. He was stiff as a board. Rose seemed concerned about the quick change. 

“Oh, I’m sorry I should have asked first. I’m sorry, Eskel. I won’t do it again.” Rose said frantically which caught Jaskier’s attention. Eskel was sitting stone still and hadn’t even let out a breath. His eyes were open and his muscles were frozen. 

“Hey, Wolfie, baby, what’s wrong? Bad thought?” Jaskier asked as he walked up and bent down in front of Eskel. Suddenly Eskel breathed out and his face turned a roaring red color. 

“Daddy, Miss Rose kissed my forehead. She gave me a kiss on my head. Daddy, daddy she she kissed my forehead . Miss Rose did. Me , she kissed my forehead.” Eskel said frantically and smiled widely. His eyes blew out wide so only a thin ring of yellow showed. His feet and hands started to curl up and then stretch out, a funny little movement to see on such a large creature, making biscuits most called it. It meant that he was overly happy. Jaskier laughed and looked at Rose’s worried face. 

“I think a certain little wolf has a crush on our ‘ Miss Rose ’! How cute!” Jaskier announces to the room. Aw’s spread through the room. Rosemary looked surprised but then hugged Eskel against her chest. 

“Aw! Do you like me, little pup?” Rose asked and Eskel buried his face into her neck and nodded quickly. Rose pets him and smiled. 

Eskel relaxes and Rosemary goes back to talking to everyone else in the room. She thought that the weight of him felt nice. His little sleepy sniffles and even breaths were cute as she felt them against her skin. She assumed he was fast asleep when he started to rock up slightly. She shushed him and petted his tail. He stilled and slept peacefully. 

“Alright, it’s fuckin’ late I’m gonna crash out in the Uber probably. Peace out Jask.” Gino says and walked to the door. Everyone else called goodbye. It was starting to get late… The boys would need to go to bed soon. As if reading Jaskier’s thoughts Gwen piped up. 

“Hey, we should probably head out too. You probably need to start putting the pups to bed right?” She said and stood up. Her and her partner put their glasses in the sink and said their goodbyes. Jaskier stood up and stretched. Rose was still petting the eldest pup and was leaning her chin on his head. 

“You think you can leave him last? He’s just so good. He’s sleeping so well. Poor little thing.” Rose said and looked at Jaskier with the world's best puppy dog eyes. Jaskier thinks for a moment before nodding. 

“Yeah I can go ahead and put Geralt to bed and check on Lamm and Aiden. Ya know he usually doesn’t act like this to strangers. He really only cuddles up to me and Yennefer.” Jaskier says and picks up the last few wine glasses and the bottles. Rose smiled and explained. 

“You don’t remember? I sat next to him at Valdo’s party. He just about climbed into my lap that night. Maybe he just likes me. Maybe I smell nice or I look like someone he loved.” Rosemary explained and scratched lightly at the back of Eskel’s head. Jaskier put the dishes in the sink while thinking about it. Lambert loves Aiden so maybe Eskel had someone he fell for?

“He’s never mentioned anyone he liked, except Geralt. They used to ‘ do stuff’ . But maybe he really does just has a crush on you… He’s got a big heart. It’s locked away in fucking fort knox but it’s huge. Big ole lover boy. Maybe when we start recording again he can come sit with you.” Jaskier said and looked at the sleeping witcher. Even dozing Eskel had a smile on his face. 

Maybe Eskel found someone else to entertain when no one else wanted to.

I am so sorry for your broken water boiler, but i am glad it is fixed. House bs is very tedious

thank yu... it was really scary as it happened but thankfully most of the rooms that got flooded only had like maybe 15-20cm of water at the most in the worst spots (most of the water didn't go past 5cm) and it wasn't rooms where there was much at risk stuff touching the floor (got a scare in the living room bc of plugs but it was fine. and electricity automatically cut off in the bathroom as soon as the washing machine right under the boiler got Drenched)

so basically i just got very spooped and had to cook rice with leftover water in a bottle and not flush the toilet for one night so all in all NOT THAT BAD CONSIDERING but yeah i was rly shaken up at first 😭 but it's fixed now i took a shower i am Kleen
