I was nervous as hell. Being nominated for an Oscar for my first big role after pausing my career for my husband and kids for almost ten years, I had a feeling this event wouldn’t go too well for me. Neymar, sitting next to me in the limousine, noticed how anxious I got and intertwined his hand with mine. Before looking up at him, I watched him hold my hand for a second. The moment our eyes met I let out a loud sigh. He smiled at me softly, "Don't worry amorzinha, no matter what happens tonight, you wouldn’t even be nominated if you haven’t done this good [sweetheart]." I nodded, knowing he was right. I bit my bottom lip as I was getting flashbacks. "I just don’t want to disappoint or even embarrass myself being too hopeful. Last time I checked everyone hated on me."

In fact, I was born to be in front of the camera. Since I was a little child, I got booked for commercials and roles in movies. When I was 14 years old, I even had my own show and became a rolemodel for many younger girls. Eventually, everything changed when I met Neymar. We were filming a commercial together and fell in love. I was only 16 years old when I found out I was pregnant. Neymar, who was my first boyfriend – now being my boyfriend for over a decade –, and I already had a hard time dealing with personal issues, but the media interfering as soon as they found about me carrying his child, made it a lot harder. On Davis fourth birthday I found out I was pregnant again. God blessed us with another angel, our babygirl Luana. Neymar and I couldn’t be happier. I had a hard time realising Davi and Luana were growing up, going to private school and following their hobbies instead of their mother taking care of and playing with them all day, so at some point, I decided to agree on filming a commercial - and the unexpected happened. I got booked for small roles in shows and movies, until I got the main role in a movie I felt like would be very big and popular, and I was right about that. It seemed like almost everyone forgot about my past and started loving and respecting me again after seeing me in the movie, which led to me being nominated for an Oscar as the best actress. It still felt unreal to me. I never would’ve imagined I'd be able to act again, let alone being nominated for a fucking Oscar.

We arrived and I checked myself out in the selfie camera for the last time before getting out of the limousine, Neymar following closely behind me. All cameras were directed as us, the flash lights not stopping for a second. Neymar grabbed me by the waist and pulled me closer to him, posing for some photos. Instead of giving my attention to the cameras that were shoved right into our faces, I couldn’t help but stare at Neymar and smile widely as I repeatingly thought about how lucky I was to have him by my side. After me watching him for a few seconds, he looked down at me. His lips formed a big grin. "Eu te amo [I love you]", he whispered before giving me a short kiss, causing me to blush and chuckle a little. The second his lips touched mine, we heard everyone cheering and "aww"-ing.

The moment the nominees for the best actress got called out I swallowed hard. I breathed in and out heavily when I heard my name. Neymar picked up my hand, kissing the back of it. I appreciated him putting in effort to help me calm down, but I felt the tears forming in my eyes as I got more nervous with every passing second. "I just want this to finally end and go home", I whispered to him, taking another deep breath. He was trying to stay positive for me, but looking into his eyes, his nervousness and worries were obvious and clear to me. My heart was racing, I swear I could even hear it’s beating. The winner would get announced now. My eyes shut down, I faced the ground. I didn’t want the cameras to catch my disappointed crying face. Why would I be sad anyway? Getting an Oscar never was anything I expected. Suddenly, I heard applause and inaudible cheering around me. Did she just say my name? I quickly looked up but was unable to realise what was going on. Neymar jumped up, hands clapping, tears of joy were visible in his hazel eyes. My mouth fell open. This had to be a joke. Impossible. "Parabéns bebê, I'm so proud of you [congratulations baby]", Neymar dragged me up from my seat and hugged me tightly, kissing my cheek. I felt hot tears streaming down my face. The speech I held was absolute chaos, crying and stuttering, but still expressing how grateful I was.

"Oh. My. God", Neymar stuttered. We were at the after party enjoying ourselves. His favorite actor of all time, Will Smith, walked up to us. "Ney, Y/N", he greeted and hugged us, "Congratulations! I was so relieved the second your name was called. Your acting was just… wow! You really deserve it." I had to hold myself back from fangirling and squeaking, getting such a compliment from Will fucking Smith himself. We did some small talk and continued meeting some more of our idols throughout the whole night.

Yes, I won an Oscar that night, but the real win was the man I had by my side - always supporting me, motivating and inspiring me to do what’s best for me and loving me unconditionally.

Either way, shes a fucking gremlin. Anger issues to boot but also so very happy go lucky, her mood can flip like a coin. We've seen how excited she gets for battle, I think she love love loves fighting. Shes a nuisance but everyone loves her. Has a massive stuffed animal collection (regardless of what her age really is)

Little old lady who is sick of everyone's shit. And by old I mean like, late fourties, early fifties perhaps. Ship doctor, but in a witch doctor sort of way. Big fan of dr kureha for sure! Has that same flippant, usually drunk on the job sort of personality. Everyone loves her though, shes the matriarch of the crew, and the commanders always ask her for advice. I headcanon she's related to Heat, perhaps his aunty. I like to think it was her that stitched up his Glasgow smile. She probably didn't want to be a pirate, but as the oldest she probably knew better than everyone what a shit show their home island was. Perhaps after all that gang violence maybe Heat is the only family she has left, so she naturally followed him out to sea.

Most casual of the girls. Quiet, little bit stoic, bit of a tomboy, probably goes by she/they. I actually headcanon she's related to Killer, given they're both tan and blonde, and from the same island (probably, at least I headcanon all the kid pirates sailed out together), maybe cousins even. Strongest and the best fighter of the girls, everyone uses her like guard dog when they wanna go out. As the guard dog shes usually the one to smack Kid when he gets too handsy with one of the girls. He's a little scared of her tbh.

Bad bitch alert!! She's hot and she knows it! Bit of a stuck up bitch but she has her soft side. Gets along best with Wire. Considered the most stylish on the crew because somehow she makes even plain clothes look good, and everyone always wants her fashion and hair advice. I sort of imagine her to be like Nami, very obsessed with money and shopping, and a big time lesbian. Keeps her nails long and sharp as shit, and has a very impressive collection of knives. Her and Hip are very scary when they work together.

Super ditsy tbh, really not suited to being a pirate but shes doing her best, its better than staying in the south blue anyway. Everyone makes fun of her cos she has a big obvious crush on kid, she's convinced shes gonna be queen of the pirates. Kid thinks its cute but shes not really his type, he doesnt mind her fawning though. Turns absolutely psychopathic if someone threatens her sweet kiddo! A real girl's girl, she loves anything cute and pink and fluffy, like just so very stereotypically girlypop

Weapon: usually kept away from fights, but like in Wavelengths I'd like to see her use that big chain of beads around her waist like a weapon

The quintessential 2010s tumblr scene girl. She reads A LOT of fantasy romance, draws fanart of her favourite book series, she would be a warrior cats girlie for sure. Bit of a scaredy cat and cries when she yells, but shes not afraid to pick up a sword if she has to if its to protect her friends. Really energetic personality though, she's easy to get along with, and she seems to know a little something about everything. Gets along best with Heat.

I know it’s small potatoes compared to all the other shit viv has done. But i have never seen Viv uplift anyother show or creators. She treats the people who MADE her work so famous (animators, va) like garbage and discards them. She doesn’t give proper credit to people. I did not know until very recently that look my way and addict were fansongs. Addict is not soo bad since it does credit at the end with big letters but still. And the time she liked a REPOST of that one persons animations and her using other peoples design as the base for her characters (cherry) without credit. It was the time when the rich people in Westport made their gardeners rake up all the dead leaves in their yards, and pile them up to huge stacks, and when the school started announcing the annual Winter Ball to everyone that wasn't interested to go.

Today was the Friday before, a sunny day, and Katie Otto was spending it in her children's principal's office, involuntarily.

Though, she had to admit, Princibal Ablin's monologue that had occupied about half an hour of her time already, with only occasional nods, and "Yes"s and "I agree"s thrown into it from her side, had been a perfect opportunity to think about her shopping list in peace.

Maybe, if she was already here, she could pick up the most important stuff on the way back home? Well, Greg had eaten all the peanut flips, and Taylor wanted some kale for a new recipe she wanted to try out. Alright, scratch the kale, there was no way Taylor was getting anywhere near kitchen gadgets soon.

"Mrs Otto? Are you even listening to me?"

"Huh?" Perfect response, Katie. Really inobvious. She saved herself with a bright smile. "Of course I am, Principal Ablin. And I absolutely agree with you."

Ablin tilted his head. "So, you agree that you need to have a serious discussion with your kids about team spirit? We cannot have all of the Otto children plot against each other every day of school."

Oooh, that's what he had been talking about? "Ahahaha," Katie laughed dryly. Acting was definitely her strong suit.

"Absolutely I do. But I also have to tell you that my kids totally do not behave this way when they are at home."

"So, maybe," she gestured, "Maybe they are acting like that because the school provides a bad environment for them?"

Principal Ablin pursed his lips. "I can assure you that our teacher staff, and me, of course, are doing everything to be the best rolemodels for the kids there are, and to make them feel welcome and appreciated at all times."

Katie gathered her purse and stood up.

"Well, thank you, Principal Ablin, for that very elaborate conversation that we just had. I will definitely talk to my kids, but I can assure you, they are just fine."

When Katie opened the door to step out of Principal Ablin's office, she was feeling incredibly tempted to throw it shut again. But that was like choosing between the door of hungry hyenas and the one where lava was slowly rising in the room. Both promised death, either way.

So she just sort of froze in the threshold between Principal Ablin's office and the school hallway, watching at least two of her children wrangling each other on the floor.

"Shouldn't you .. do something? They are your children, after all. And they are "just fine"." Principal Ablin, who had suddenly appeared next to her, set airquotes around the last two words.

She probably should. After all, he was right: that gremlin and toy-murderer throwing hands with each other over there were her seed.

Or, maybe, she should drag Principal Ablin back into his office and throw him out the window, after all.

Eh, that plan had been flawed from the first time she came up with it forty-three minutes ago.

She gave it one second. And then another. Katie sighed and stomped over to her fighting children.

"Hey! What is going on here?"

Forcefully, she grabbed the first of her children she could reach under their arms, and ended up dragging a kicking and screeching Anna-Kat away from her older brother.

"No! You, sit," Katie commanded, and planted her youngest firmly on her ass on the ground. Anna-Kat crossed her arms and pouted angrily. Katie turned to Oliver.

"What is going on?" She asked, throwing her hands in the air. "Ask her!" Oliver yelled, clutching a hand to his arm, "She just randomly attacked me!"

"You murdered my pony!"

"What are you even talking about!"

"Oliver, quiet!" Katie commanded. "Anna-Kat, what happened?"

Arms still crossed, Anna-Kat answered, "He slammed his locker door on one of my ponies' heads!"

"Oliver, is that true?"

Oliver's eyes widened. "Are you kidding me, how was I even supposed to know that it was there? It's not my fault she still needs those things because she has no friends! Then she went all crazy on me!"

"Aaaaaah!" With a yell, Anna-Kat burst forward and jumped at Oliver. The older boy screeched, and together they tumbled down to the floor and started wrestling for the upper hand. Or, you know, something like that.

"Alright, that's it!" Katie leaned down and, without a second thought, grabbed each of her children with one hand by the ear.

Now she was holding them up like trophies. Power move.

"Mom, what are you doing? You're embarrassing me!" Oliver whined.

Katie pouted in faked empathy. "Well, you should have thought about that before hitting on your sister. That came out wrong, scratch it."

"I think we are both very clear on the fact that Anna-Kat and Oliver are being suspended for this kind of behavior." Ablin stated.

"Oh, believe me, Principal Ablin, I would've taken those two home with me either way."

With an elaborate tug on their ears, Katie started walking down the hallways, her two children involuntarily following.

She didn't drag them by their ears all the way, though. She wasn't the best mother, but she wasn't downright abusive, either. Also, no one could have borne to hear these two complain the entire way to the school gate anyway.

"I don't even understand what is going on between the two of you lately." Just in front of the car, she came to a halt and faced her children. "I mean, I'm used to Oiver and Taylor going at it, or even Taylor and Anna-Kat, but you two? Come on, you're the smart ones in the family! You were supposed to take the other's side, not rip them to pieces!"

Katie sighed and shook her car keys out of her pocket.

While she rounded the minivan, Oliver made his way to his side of the backseat, and pulled on the door handle. When it didn't open, he frowned.

"Mom, you didn't unlock the back of the car."

"Hm?" Katie raised her eyebrows. "Oh, that's my bad. Did I forget to tell you? The two of you are walking home today."

"What?!" "Mama!"

Oliver threw his arms up and Anna-Kat stomped her foot on the ground in protest.

"That's not fair!"

"Oh, I think very well it is." Katie told him. "The two of you are going to spend some time together, where you don't have any other choice than to get along. At home, you can flee into your room, and at school you can escape into class, but not here."

She pulled the car door open.

"Oliver, you're going to watch Anna-Kat, so she doesn't get run over by a car. I trust you. Have fun!" Smiling, she sat in the driver's seat, and, with a loud growl that could've been either the engine of the car, or the sound of Oliver's spirit being crushed, drove away.

Sighing, he turned to his sister.

"She has officially gone insane," Anna-Kat said.

At least that was one thing they could both agree on.

Walking home with Anna-Kat proved to be just how Oliver had predicted it to: awkward, silent, and, most of all, full of angry glances at each other and the occasional, "accidental" shove.

It was a true fraternity from out of a book.

About one third in, Oliver took off his backpack and began to rummage around in it. Anna-Kat eyed him from the side as he pulled out an old camera.

"What is that?" She asked.

Oliver slung the strap around his neck. "A candlestick." He answered dryly.

Anna-Kat rolled her eyes. "Very funny, I know that it's a camera. I just wanted to know what you were doing with it."

"Well then, ask that." Oliver raised the viewfinder to his eyes after putting the cap back in his backpack.

"Just answer my question, dummy!"

"Hey, don't call me that!"

"Don't act like it!" She stuck out her tongue at him.

Oliver stuck his tongue out at her back.

"My research told me that Harvard doesn't only value integrity and business knowledge, but also creativity and perceptiveness." He raised the camera again to take a trial photo.

"And what better way to show them that I am all of those things than snapping some amazing photographs?"

Anna-Kat frowned. "But ... you're not perceptive, or very creative," she said. "I've seen your art projects. The weird kids in my grade can do better than that. You know, the ones that put toothpaste on their no-no parts."

Oliver gave her a tight-lipped, big smile. Anna-Kat's eyes widened.

That was it.

"Evil smile," she breathed out. Mama had always talked about it, but seeing it... "It reminds me of the bad guy in my movies when they turn around in a big chair, stroking a cat. Very evilly."

Oliver tilted his head. "Thanks. I've actually been kind of working towards that."

He snapped a photo when they passed a blooming dahlia. Anna-Kat looked around in awe.

"I didn't know our way home went through the rich part of Westport," she said. Oliver looked up from his camera display.

"Huh? Oh, yeah. That's probably the part where Mom would start talking about something that only interests you, but she thinks catches all of our attention, so we don't look out the windows too much."

Anna-Kat turned to look at her older brother. Oliver was slightly bending down to capture a nicer shot of a cream-colored house.

She took in the surrounding area of grand mansions with imposing structures, iron gates, and juicy green lawns. The beauty of it all did a favor of reminding her just how much she and her family contrasted from all that wealth.

Maybe they did not fit in as well as they had thought, after all.

The continuous click of the camera was the only sound that Oliver took notice of for the next few moments. He circled his lens around the landscape, continuously looking for another image to shoot.

His hands stopped dead in their movement, when he caught a figure on the top of a hill.

He noticed the property as a part of another residence, probably their perception of a front lawn.

As far as the camera could manage, he did his best to zoom in on the other person sitting on a bench in the grass. The young boy was hunched over, seeming lost in something in his lap. The sunlight was shining down at him and lighting up the image of his hair, a mix of strawberry red and blond.

Oliver breathed out to steady his hand. Then he pressed down on the shutter. The image of the boy, sitting on the bench, sunlight framing his silhouette like a golden aura, now forever captured in his hands.

Oliver grinned down at the display. Maybe he did have some sort of perception.

"Can we leave now?" Anna-Kat whined, and ripped him out of his hypnotizing contemplation. Oliver suppressed a groan.

"Alright, alright, I'm coming. Hold your horses." He hid his self-satisfied grin at the pun behind a duck of his head, as he put the camera back in his bag.

They fell into an evenly step as they continued their walk home.

"Don't you just love afterweekend mornings?" Katie sighed at Greg, one hand perched at her hip, watching chaos unfold on the lower floor of her house. "Kids, let's go!"

Just like any other morning, but maybe a bit more hectic, the Otto family's minivan raced over the streets of Westport. Taylor giggled when a raging gardener cursed at Katie's driving that had stirred up his pile of dead leaves. Oliver took one last look at his chemistry test substance.

"Alright, we're here," His mother announced when they reached the sidewalk. "Now, get out, before you're late to class." Oliver was just about to slam the door, when Katie leaned out of the window and threw a closer look at a banner being stretched over the entrance gate. "Oh, a Winter Formal dance?" She turned to Oliver. "Wouldn't that be fun?"

"Only seniors are invited. Sorry, Mom. Bye, love you!" Oliver hurried up the steps into the school. Rushing to his locker, he almost bumped into Steve Treshor.

"Watch it," the senior scolded, and Oliver only rolled his eyes when the older man was way behind him. Blindly turning the numbercode into the lock, his eyes raced over his chemistry notes. Maybe he should've really studied more for that test. After he gathered his necessary textbooks for first period, Oliver threw the locker closed again, desperately fumbling for his notes buried somewhere under all of his books. He felt something slipping from his arm, but didn't pay it mind, kept walking anyways. That was, until he heard a voice shout from behind him.

"Hey, amigo! I think you dropped something."

Oliver froze.

When he slowly turned around, like a man being held at gunpoint, brown eyes wide, a boy was standing before him, probably around his age, but much taller, so that Oliver had to look up at him, with red-blond locks and a knitted crewneck sweater. But the expensive kind.

Oliver swallowed. He knew that boy. He had printed out a photograph of him just two days prior. He was the golden boy on the bench.

♡ lets the baby nap in with him a lot. sometimes you can walk into his bedroom and see him with all of his long ass hair splayed out on the bed and the baby also splayed out on the bed ... stevens gotta get his beautysleep!!! so does his kid!!!

♡ stevens really not sure whether to keep miki ( the charizard ) a secret from his child or not. because he knows that like. miki wouldn't hurt his baby almost definitely but he's still kind of scared of the possibility of either of them hurting one another accidentally or not... so at least until theyre older miki's probably a thing he tries not to mention.

♡ in general he also tries to not talk about himself or his past at all to his kid. he doesn't want them to know the ugly sides of himself.

♡ he just pretends he's a normal guy. if they somehow find out otherwise he'll either sigh deeply and tell them the truth, likely as some sort of life lesson to them ( either on safety, cautiousness, boundaries and trust w the trading incident or 'Hey if this happens to you maybe don't do what i did' but im not sure if he's self-aware enough to think of him as in the wrong entirely in that situation ), or he'll just say "must be a different guy" ( they look exactly the same in photos other than how disgruntled steven is now ... )

♡ he absolutely has a baby carrier. i think he always has wanted to carry a baby like that bc he thinks its all cute and funny. he probably smiles at you when you look at him wearing that with your little googoo in it. it looks so odd on him that it's kind of funny

♡ sorry for sidetracking so much. anyways, he's the type of dude who OVERprepares. like MONTHS in advance, he's already buying a shitton of baby clothes, food, bottles, various furniture, etc. how is he buying these? well. either with your money or he's stealing that shit. or he somehow actually has money now. he might've mugged the various people who try to sneak into his house and 'mysteriously' die. who knows. It's a living! Kind of..????

♡ due to his general aversion of society he's kind of torn over wanting to go to a hospital or just doing it in a tub or something if its a situation where he has a partner. i think ultimately he'd do it in a hospital, despite his fear of people, because he's really scared of something going wrong. he'll wait with like. bated breath. scared as hell.

♡ he will cry the second that baby is in his arms. 100%. trust me. like. silently, probably - at least for the first few seconds. but theres a lot of tears. and a smile.

♡ he hums little lullabies to his baby and will gently move them back and forth... while the babies probably chewing at his hair a little.

♡ s!3v3n is also surprisingly calm and good to the baby. the baby would either be fucking terrified of s!3v3n's face or think its silly and laugh at it. s!3v3n particularly likes to make silly faces where his tongue sticks out real far ( he can just do that when hes like that dw abt it ) and he goes crosseyed

♡ ok this has all mostly been pregnancy and baby hcs. actual kid hcs uhhh... he probably really wants to homeschool his kid bc hes very overprotective but if you talked him into it he'd reluctantly put them in Actual Public School so they can have like. a social life. lol. bc otherwise theyd be EXTREMELY fucking isolated considering stevens been vanquished to Pallet Town's Shadow Realm ( aka pallet town 'A little to the west guarded by rocks and past the forest' edition ) and steven really doesnt want them to be lonely bc it sucks and hes been isolating himself for most of his life at this point so he knows it sucks

♡ he gets more comfortable going outside. most of kanto has forgotten about him anyways - he just specifically avoids going out to pallet town. if his kid wants to go there and hes not a single dad he'll have his partner do it for him. but he likes to go take walks with them and go to playgrounds. plus, he doesn't even have to whip miki / M' out in the wild grass - pokemon avoid him anyways. lol.

♡ as bittersweet as it is, if his kid wanted to be a pokemon trainer he WOULD have the best tips and tricks on it... he was the undefeated champion and arguably the first ''pokemon master'', whatever that term even means. ( presumably ''trainer champion'' instead of ''probably appointed to be in that position for someone to fight'' champion. like lance. or The Other steven. or smth. )

♡ he'd probably find a way to get his kid a starter... he still lives in kanto and close to pallet town too, so he can pull a silver and like. steal a starter. or he could just send his kid on their way ""without supervision"" ( hes lurking in the forest keeping an eye out just in case ) to ask oak about it

♡ if they pick charmander it is 90x more bittersweet. amen. but i think bulbasaur would be cute too bc its the only starter not picked and not relevant in strangled red + my own personal bulbasaur bias.

♡ although stevens going to tell them not to trade pokemon for obvious reasons - either thru a ''spooky tale'' / urban legend ( that is just his story but he tells it much more vague. like. ''... well i heard sometimes pokemon don't come back out.'' ) or just straight up says some shit like ''yea don't trade pokemon. it's bad.'' without elaborating

♡ regardless. he's still being very overprotective and unless his kid doesnt budge on it hes preferably not letting them go explore the world on their own until theyre like... 13-16

♡ even then. hes usually kind of trailing behind without telling them bc he legitimately has nothing better to do.

♡ funnier option that i dont think he'd do ( probably ) is he pulls a clavell ( or team rocket ) and acts like a totally different guy when all that changes is his fit and maybe his haircut. except he prob pulls it off well. he'd still be obviously steven but his cap is backwards and his hair is tied up and his little jacket or w/e is around his waist and thats all that changes. his shoes might be untied for the 'stupid kid / teenager' look but then he trips over his feet and ties them bc its not worth the image

♡ stevens never had parents, so being a parent to someone else is... foreign, but also not really? as mentioned he did constantly used to babysit blue and red. and he was overall the teenage childhood role model for many kids in pallet town... but he himself was mostly raised by mike. so. either way, he very much loves kids and taking care of them. so tldr. hes a really good dad.
