I had an It Follows nightmare last night and it was fucked but also it was happening in this lively and picturesque snowy urban setting and I had a shitty apartment and spent the dream wandering this adorable winter city in a hat and mittens while the It Follows thing kept showing up and scaring the shit out of me. her parents are busy! but the doctor! also is, technically, but is also immortal and has a time machine and will, eventually, get to kate’s school play even if he does so after a hundred and fifty years of forgetting he was supposed to go. and then he claps at all the wrong times and no one wants to stand too close to him because he puts people on edge with how little he blinks and kate comes trotting down in costume afterwards to be taken on a trip in the tardis like he always lets her. (NOT brigadier approved.)

it’s only when she gets older that she realizes that some of the doctor’s faces that showed up when she was a kid are faces she’s seen also standing across from her in UNIT. and she’s not entirely sure which Kate he sees when he looks back at her.

Love the fact that I always have to explain that I'm introverted as fuck, cause people always act so surprised.

Ma'am, the only reason u don't realize it is cause I'm one of the 2 members of a family of 6 that's introverted. I didn't choose this, I just had to adapt. That and I've been adopted by extroverted friends since literally my birth.

I've just learned not to give a fuck and have little to no shame, so u wont notice in convos and my behavior that im introverted cause u only have one idea of how an introvert acts.

#was at a birthday party yesterday n talked with people #n told one that yes. im an introvert #my chosen field of study involves me being alone everday for at least 8 hours and i love it #and peolle r always like: but u dont seem like one!#no shit sherlock. ive been forced to learn how to socialize since age 3 thank u #i can if i want to but ill also very much just walk away from a convo if i dont want anymore cause i dont have energy for this #very proud of my ability to just vanish if i want to #its a running gag with my friends at this point #im like a cryptic woodland creature
