That time Murasakibara and Kuroko started kinda-sorta fake dating, and kinda-sorta never bothered to break up.
Still going & i love this writer sm. i read all their stories 😙✌🏽
Lavender Secrets by SailorHikarinoMu
Kuroko was the one to bring out his true love for basketball, which had been hidden from prying eyes since the beginning. It was one of those things he was unsure whether he should feel grateful for, but all the same, it did mean something. What this 'something' was, exactly? Murasakibara did not know. Not yet.
FLUFF AAA FLUFF
Rainy by overdose
Kuroko listened to the rain pouring, and more importantly, Murasakibara's steady breathing.
smut. couch sex. size difference. 🥴
BONUS
Hanamiya Makoto/Kuroko Tetsuya
Scotomas by Darkenedcrystal
After the game against Jabberwock, Kagami goes overseas and Kuroko finds himself without a light. A slightly angsty, rather light-hearted story about what happens to Kuroko after Kagami leaves. Features teens finding their way around life, Seirin without a light, the Generation of Miracles being a family, the teens finding love and appreciating the heartbreaks. Kuroko tries to find his own style without a light, and stumbles into the darkness that is Hanamiya Makoto instead. Extra chapter added!
love this fic so much. downside: akashi is kinda a dick
Of Unlikely Friendships, Sneaky Bets, Shogi and Sake by itsthechocopuff
Imayoshi had introduced his two favourite kouhai to each other as an experiment. He did not predict they'd get along so well, both being shadows, but they did, and they worked, oddly enough. Hanamiya brought out the worst in Kuroko, while Kuroko brought out the the best in the other; and they both caused heartattacks to unsuspecting teammates who could not believe their darling shadow was not as innocent as he seemed.
you wont regret reading this one omg
Haizaki Shougo/Kuroko Tetsuya
A Taste That Lingers by therealmoyashi
I couldn't say anything, and that was alright because he didn't want an answer. I'll never forget the way that tasted. Yeah, I thought, he ruined me.
i cried reading this for the first time. out of character kuroko
By the Tomatoes by Wayfarer_Rye
It starts with a blue-grey t-shirt that says "Nothing but Net".
Haizaki wants to try again.

STARDEW ADMIN
here i’m going to talk about what happened and everything in between because there are some narratives out there that i don’t like and i didn’t have a chance to speak for myself because i was in class and had hw. take it as you will. but, i will not be disclosing any personal names!
me and my friend decided to make stardew back in october, but it ended up being a lot more than what my friend, and i, could handle so i brought in some people i thought were my friends to help me run it. we had our issues, we didn’t do everything that we should’ve and we had a SHIT reputation that we 100% deserved. it made me wary of adminning, so i kind of spaced a little bit (which was easy to do being back home without decent internet to even run tumblr)
fast forward a few months and we bring on a new admin, B. (this happen about two weeks ago, i believe). everything was fine and chill and we were just vibing while my other two admins, C and B1, needed the extra help because i was slacking in the admin department. which, i don’t blame them for. B1 decided to bring in B as an admin while i was asleep, without asking me or C about it. at that point, the logins had been shared and it was too late for me to voice my concern or unwant for it because she was already acting as admin.
i was already in a pretty bad mental space with other stuff that had been going on and i was sick, so i was very on the fence with staying or leaving, but i inevitably stayed because they wanted me to be there.. and they were my friends, so i did!
now, a few days ago, my ex admin ,that helped me create the group, was talking about wanting to join again with our mutual friend (who they had a ship with in a previous rp). it was all jokes at first, but once sharing that want in the admin group chat that we had, B1 and B were quick to judge it off with nasty comments and not even taking it as a joke. i was continuing on as it was, even throwing in things back. here’s some screenshots with MY input as well so y’all can see where even I went wrong:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
the above screenshots are when it was initially brought up, even i was going along saying that i agreed she shouldn’t be in the rp, but that was because i didn’t think my friend was serious. the second i found out she was i quickly changed up my story. i got into a call with her and my friend who had helped me make the rp originally and she expressed how upset she was because these people loved her character “isabella” from a past group we were in with her. it got to the point where she was talking about never playing this character again, and stepping down from rp entirely because she felt BAD that people hated her character this much to the point where she was being denied in a group that was run by her FRIENDS.
fast forward a couple hours after the phone call ends and i say my apologies to her myself, i message the discord and ask them to apologize (unfortunately i’m not in the discord anymore, but i sent it to our imessage gc too bc it was ignored for a hot minute in the discord):
Tumblr media
now, i’ll admit how i said it was very pointed, but it’s not how i meant it originally. i was mad and upset that i was 1. being put in a weird, uncomfortable position, and 2. my friend was hurt. it was met with backlash and them basically trying to make it seem like they weren’t in the wrong for what they were saying, and saying that they were going to delete/ignore her app entirely, and because i was “agreeing with them”. when, i was joking      they were serious. a simple apology really isn’t that hard, right? evidently it was! they were pretty much refusing to apologize because they didn’t feel that they had to because it was their opinion. it’s two little words: some i had already spoken to the individual myself. once i realized the harsh messages back and the way everything was handled, i decided to step down, as an admin and member. which, i said in the group chat myself. i even had a closing message on my character about how i loved the group for 5 months and that the admins would do right and keep it alive just fine.
i had no harsh feelings (except the fact that my ‘friends’, minus C, hadn’t even tried to check up on me to see how i was feeling after everything, but that’s not important, really). i had made my amends, but when you’re with something for that long, you develop and attachment to the group.
after about 5 days, i messaged C talking about how i wanted to come back (this happened last night), and she met me with a weird feeling of basically being like ‘oh.... but there’s other rps in the tags!’, so that was already red flag number 1.
Tumblr media
which, i STILL feel that i have every right to return to a group i MADE. not as admin, but simply as a member. and i didn’t feel like me wanting them to apologize for upsetting someone and putting me in a weird position was really ALL that deep to warrant discomfort by ME. i was wrong!
i woke up this morning and saw that they accepted SIX apps, but mine wasn’t there. C said it wasn’t intentional and that they were just waiting to discuss it because they didn’t know how B would feel! turns out, they were already on the fence of me joining and it was intentional! as a quote from B1, “part of me says no, but part of me says yes i’m conflicted and waiting for B”.
i was also met with harsh assumptions towards my intentions and sincerity saying i was joining “out of spite” when i had told C last night that i was bored and wanted to rp... i checked the tl daily while i was gone because i missed it.
in no way did i say they STOLE my group because they did not, NOR did i have any knowledge about one of them being “racist”, everything that was thrown out today was my first time hearing it, too. what my friend posted is not what I’M saying. all i was saying was that i was unfairly denied a spot back into my group for reasons that are petty and unfair, nor do i think it should’ve been taken to the tags in such a manner. but i will not shame my friend for trying to stick up for me when they knew i was hurt, even if it was done the wrong way.

Forgiveness Part 1
Wonho x Reader
A/N If this is familiar to anyone it’s cause this was from my old account, I couldn’t remember my login info for the longest time, but go figure now that I have a new tumblr I remembered the email for the old one.
I hope you enjoy!♡
You were nearly asleep when you heard your phone ring a painfully familiar song. You didn’t expect to hear it, though you used to look forward to hearing it every night around this time. You hadn’t heard it in nearly two months. Since your relationship with Wonho fell to pieces.
Since you found him in the arms of another woman.
Part of you wanted to not answer, to let him think you’ve moved on. The other part wanted to tell him off and let him know just how much pain he left you in. You had rehearsed countless times what you would say to him if he had the nerve to contact you again.
The latter side won out and you swiped a shaking finger across the phone and prepared to let him have it.
“H..hello? Y/n?”
Your words died on your lips when you heard the broken greeting. The only time you’ve heard him sound like this was when he talked about how he worried about his family while he was a trainee.
“I know you don’t owe me anything, but please, can we talk? Y/n?” His voice cracked on your name, he sounded like he was in as much pain as you were in, but also, he sounded resigned that you might not be willing to talk with him.
“Yeah, I’m here. Look, what do you need so late, Wonho?” The words felt strange, heavy even, in your mouth. One, you never before would have questioned him calling so late. This was your time, your nightly ritual while he was touring. And two, you never called him Wonho when it was just you two, even if you had fought, he was your Hoseok.
Was.
Not yours anymore, so if you were going to pretend you had moved on, he was Wonho.
You could tell it hurt him when you used his stage name, the name people used when they weren’t in his inner circle. His breath hitched, and he let out a sigh.
“I’m sorry…’” he whispered. “I hurt you and I can’t change that, and now I’m making you listen to me and bringing it all back up.”
You steeled yourself. You had to be strong. He destroyed your heart. Your trust. You couldn’t give in to the instinct to comfort him.
But still there was something there in his voice, something that made you stay on the line. “So, you’re calling to apologize? It doesn’t change anything. Why now? Why wait so long?!” Your feelings were threatening to boil over, but you had to hear what he had to say. If only so you could properly move on. “What do you expect me to say? You cheated, you threw away all our years together, our plans for the future, and in return I get a ‘sorry’?!”
“Y/n, you need to know what really happened. I never cheated on you. I never would.” He paused to sniff, “You know me better than that.”
So, he’s going to deny it, now? Fine, should be interesting, he never was good at lying anyway. “No, Wonho, I thought that I knew you better than that. But I saw you two together in her dressing room. She was all over you!” You found the tears that you had tried to force back, spilling over at the bitter memory.
“It wasn’t what it looked like, y/n, I swear.” His voice got stronger with conviction as he continued to explain what happened. “Our manager told us to be nice to her because she was debuting that night as a solo artist and didn’t have band members to lean on for support.”
You rolled your eyes and your anger got the best of you. “How very accommodating of you! Do you always support the new debuts by shoving your tongue down their throat?” You normally would have regretted the venom that you heard in your voice but while you wanted to hear him out you also needed to let your pain out.
“Please, y/n, I went to talk with her and give her some advice, but she threw herself at me crying. I’m not heartless, I let her get it out of her system. Then we sat and shared training horror stories.”
You knew the girl, you had met her briefly several times. She was a ruthless trainee, she didn’t get along with anyone. Everyone was her rival. But she was incredibly talented. So, after several years at not working out in trial projects with other trainees, they decided to debut her as a solo artist.
As hard as it was to get close to her, you suspected it was because she knew she had to succeed. Her family put everything they had into her training. She couldn’t disappoint them and leave them with nothing. That must be why they got along so well, and she confided in him when she wouldn’t with the other members. They both had the desperate desire to take care of their families who put their everything into them pursuing their dreams.
You let out an exasperated sigh before asking, “So how did that lead to what I saw?” You started to suspect that perhaps you misread what you saw. She had looked you in the eye through the mirror as she latched onto him and you couldn’t break eye contact with her. You had been in shock. You didn’t even wait for an explanation, you just left. You couldn’t bring yourself to look him in the face before you stormed off.
“She must have misread my kindness, and then she just threw herself at me. It was weird though, because I could have sworn she knew we were together, every time she saw us we were together.”
You smiled at his innocence. He hadn’t noticed the deliberate look she had shot at you through the mirror.
“She knew what she was doing, Wonho. She saw me there.” You wanted to hate her, but you actually felt for her. You saw how that life takes its toll on the mind. “You were the only person she felt she could relate to, so you were probably her next goal.”
Wonho made a thoughtful sound while he contemplated what you said.
“Why didn’t you try to talk to me before now?” You felt warmth wash over you heart knowing that he hadn’t, in fact, cheated, yet you still felt like there was a something missing. “Why now?”
“Your face,” he whispered, “I could see how devastated you were, and it tore me apart that you could believe I would do that to you. After everything we had been through. I couldn’t bring myself to ever put you through that again and I didn’t think you would listen to me. I know how it looked…”
He was right. He did know you, you had felt broken and there was no way you would have listened to him. Hell, you didn’t even plan to listen to him tonight. You answered so that you could make him know what he put you through.
“So, what now?” You cringed while you waited for his reply. You didn’t even know what you hoped he would say.
“Can you forgive me?” You never heard this voice before, so devoid of even the smallest hint of hope. “I get that I screwed up. I never should have let you feel that way. I should have chased after you and explained the situation.”
“Why didn’t you?”
“She said that you would need time to breathe before you would be willing to listen. She convinced me I would only hurt you more. That with my lifestyle and schedule you might be better off without me. That you deserved someone normal.”
You snorted, “And I suppose she probably also suggested that you would do better to find someone who can understand your world? Someone in the business?”
He let a light laugh slip and you could feel him returning from the broken man who dialed you tonight. “Yeah, something along those lines.”
“And? Do you agree with her? Would you rather find someone else who could ‘understand’ your world?” Your throat was feeling dry, so you wandered into the kitchen and filled a glass with water. You waited for his reply, feeling insecurities start to creep in when he didn’t immediately answer.
“That’s the thing, y/n. I uhh…better get off the phone. I’m about to see that someone. I finally have courage to tell her that I’d like a future with her. I just had toー”
You fell your heart drop to your toes. Now you felt all the life go out of your own voice, “Get my forgiveness first?” Ever the honorable one. You leaned on the counter not sure you could hold your self up anymore.
“Well, yeah. I couldn’t make a confession without it.” He actually sounded relieved. You wanted to throw up.
You weren’t even listening anymore. You had your explanations, and now you could move on. You would be damned though if you let him think he hurt you again. At least let him have his happy ending. Your chest tightened painfully as you said your goodbyes. “Well, good luck with that, I hope she returns your feelings.” You ended the call before he could say another word.
And before you could even put your phone down on the counter there was a knock at your apartment door. You looked down at your phone suspiciously, and saw it was after 1am.
There’s no way…is there?
You walked lightly to the door, so you wouldn’t be heard and looked through the peephole to see nothing, it must have been the wrong apartment. You let out a sigh and leaned your head against the door, letting the stress and pain of the evening in and feeling a surge of hot tears spill down your cheeks.
Then there was another knock and again there was nothing. You eased the door opened and looked down and your world suddenly stopped feeling like it was spinning out of control.
Wonho was kneeling on the floor with a bunch of daisies in one hand and a carrier with two very large coffees in the other. He looked up at you with red eyes and smiled, “Can I come in?”
You eyed the coffee and shrugged, attempting to look indifferent, “Depends…one of those for me?”
He laughed and now matching tears were spilling down his cheeks, he bowed his head and rested it against your hip and you watch his back shake while he tried to control his emotions.
You knelt down in front of him and he put down the coffee and flowers and you both wiped tears from each other’s faces.
“You’re here. I thought you found someone who can understand your work?” You didn’t care how swollen and red your face was, because he sported a matching look, you just smiled at him and continued to touch his face. The face you were convinced you would never touch again.
“You understand me 100%. You always have. It’s what gave me the strength to call.” He paused to push my hair back that was sticking to my wet face. “Cause no matter what, you know me and had to know deep down that I would never want anyone else.”
You wrapped your arms around his neck and breathed him in, you had missed this. You were jostled when he wrapped his arms around you and stood up not letting you go for a second.
“I’m so sorry it took me so long to find my way home.” He had his cocky smile on, but you could see the insecurity in his eyes. “Could you learn to love me again?”
You laid your face on his chest and melted into him, cherishing his heartbeat. “I never stopped.”

Hey all! Welcome to our December development update. Here is what lies under the cut.

New Monsters and New Item Patreon Illustrations

Community spotlight
Tumblr media
This month, we have been working on basic back end set up. Login and register systems are currently being built and tested. We’ve had some continuous trouble with our current server, so we’ve found it best for development to move to a new server. We’re currently in the process of shifting everything over - there may be some downtime on the Beast Demo, we will give everyone a heads up on our social media channels when that time comes!
On the topic of the Demo - we are planning some new and exciting usability features for Demo V3. • Link generation for sharing After creating a Beast, a link will be generated. The link will be a url to your creation. You can also import a link from another creation. • Lock and unlock options Options can be locked and unlocked by clicking the lock symbol. This will ensure your option will not change even when clicking randomize. • Shift Special order Shift Special options by moving the arrows. This will change the layering order of Specials without having to choose options again, making it easier to customize.
• Loading animation A simple loading animation to appear before the Beasts image is generated. Some other additions would be an "Age" option which changes the Beasts base to the Young Base or the Grown Base. And the categorization of the Base area and Special Markings area so it's a little easier to tell options apart.
The young bases for the three starter Beasts - Dragon, Griffin and Unicorn have been completed. We are planning to have all Young bases and their 125 colors and the current catalog of Special Markings available for the next Demo V3 update.
Tumblr media
The Hybrid bases are being worked on and will be ready for the next demo update - here are the sketches for the young Quetzal, Hippogriff and Kirin!
Tumblr media
We’ll have news very soon about when Demo V3 will drop. For now, I can share that work has started on the next Hybrid Beasts. Here is a quick sneak peak.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Every shop you visit in Mythaura is run by a shopkeep. These shopkeepers have their own unique personalities, quests and dialogue. They will interact with you, the player, through dialogue boxes. Some moments will give you different options to respond to the NPC and the NPCs portrait will change to different expressions depending on their mood and dialogue. For example; if a player hands in a completed quest, the NPC portrait will change to a pleased expression. Each character will play a large role within the story and game play.
This month our amazing Tier 3+ supporters on Patreon voted in a poll to choose the first NPC players will interact with on site out of three options. Acting as a tutorial guide, they will welcome the player into the world, introduce them to the currency, explain factions, walk players through creating their first Beast and finally leading them into the full game. This is an early look at the Mythaura “Welcome” NPC!
Tumblr media
“A cheerful elderly Quetzal. He is a travelling merchant who sells interesting items he found while on the road. His bird is his best bud.”
Next month, patrons will decide on the Quetzal Traveller’s coloring, define their personality, their shop and their name. We’ll have more to share on the NPC system and other characters that will feature in Mythaura soon!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tier 4 and 5 Patreon rewards have the opportunity to work with the artists to create their own Monsters and Items that will appear in-game. Here are the illustrations that have been created this month. Many thanks to our incredibly creative supporters! Monsters: Lunar Bone Thief - Created with Fizzywits Vitterfolk - Created with Malis (Work in progress! The Vitterfolk’s final illustration will be completed soon)

FAQ
So many pet games have been ruined by multi accounts, botters & scammers. I'd like to know what your policies will be on these since I am wary of investing in another site that doesn't have the staff or motivation to keep a clean playing field for all. - Anonymous
Those are completely valid concerns. As with any multiplayer online game, there will inevitability be those who will exploit it in some way or another. We will take our security and code of conduct very seriously, any player found violating that will be restricted or banned.
How many times can you create a beast from scratch? Only when you first join or are there other ways to do so? (Through an item for example) - Anonymous
You will create your first Beast upon joining Mythaura - a Dragon, Griffin or Unicorn. You’ll be able to choose any of the 125 colors on the wheel to customize their Base, Bottom and Top areas on their bodies. At the moment, this will be the only time you will be able to create a Beast from scratch. We are definitely not ruling out any other options! At this point it’s too early to say for sure.
Will there be a way to keep beasts as their 'baby' forms? - katjoyy
Yes! I realize that some people might prefer the young Beast artworks to their grown versions. There will be a method in the game to keep them from growing up - whether through consumable items or another means.
I know there is crowd funding, but will you be using Kickstarter at any point? I am more familiar with them, as I feel many are, and would rather fund through there (Dappervolk Funded within Hours.. or minuets??) I'd love to know, thanks! - bobbybi
Our first priority before planning the final crowdfunding push is delivering on an alpha and beta. We are 100% focused on building Mythaura the best it can be now and our Patreon is helping out a great deal to reach that goal.
I love Mythaura so much already, I can't explain it in words! I can't wait to see it reach it's max potential. I just wanted to know if there would be a feeding or age mechanic that would cause your creature to pass on eventually. I only ask, because I dislike the game mechanic cause death is no fun. - Anonymous
Thank you so much! Your support means the world  ❤ There will be no death mechanic. We expect players to put a lot of time and effort into customizing their Beasts and it would feel like a waste to have them pass on eventually. Rest easy knowing that your Beasts will be immortal.
In the future, would you be open to beast/monster/item suggestions from users? - Anonymous
We are always open to suggestions! I am actively listening on all our social media channels. I take any and all suggestions to heart and note them down. But if you’re super eager to have your ideas made into reality, Tier 4 and 5 Patreon rewards can have their suggestions made into actual items in-game.
Okay so, you're making a Virtual Pet game. What do you have planned that will set you apart from other games like Flight Rising and even Neopets? I see the graphics are looking good, but do you have something else new that you intend to bring to the table with this? - formerlybees
As a long time fan and player of virtual pet games, I can say that we have a number of new ideas we are planning to bring into the genre. Some ideas inspired by other virtual pet games and some inspired by other MMOs. We have some incredibly ambitious ideas planned out that I wish I could tell you about, but we need to see if we can actually build them and get it all working!
Hi, I'm very curious as to what you look for in a portfolio for artists/writers? I'm very new to submitting portfolios and unfortunately art school doesn't really teach you this sort of thing. Thanks in advance! - rexcaliburr
For Mythaura specifically - Artists that show pieces with 2D cel-shaded style similar to our own and demonstrate cohesive anatomy for animal-like creatures. Just a couple of their best polished pieces will deliver the best first impression!  For writers, a small section of writing that best showcases your creative flair and perhaps links to your previous works if any.
For artists, I recommend checking out the Dear Art Director tumblr. It’s helped me out a lot personally when I was freelancing.
Any update on best boy reine's final art work? - twinfishieslove
No update as of yet! You’ll have to gaze upon his glorious mugshot for now.

Story Time
So, as a lot of you who've ever seen my family posts will understand, they're pretty messed up. Like, there's lighter things from just bad jokes, to things like full-on bigotry and abuse.
I wanna lay it all out, because I was thinking about it and wanted to get it off my chest.
So, there are 3 kinds of messed up with my parents, all their own special brew of abusive and neglectful.
So, you have my mother. She seems like a typical Southern mom on the surface. You can see her at church. At Wal-Mart. Dresses kinda trashy. Big & loud hair, and bad teeth. But if you knew her for longer than a week, you started to get this vibe from her you couldn't quite put your finger on until you REALLY knew her.
She's one of the few people I genuinely hate in this world. Growing up, she called me names (to my face) like "fat," "stupid," and other such names, and constantly verbally demeaned, bullied, and abused me (she'd constantly "joke" about things she disapproved of, sometimes even so far as to physically do things to me I'd rather not discuss publicly; she'd withhold information from me constantly, the list goes on. When my parents were talking about getting divorced, she took me to the Taco Bueno/Raising Cane's parking lot shortly after my birthday and told me and made me choose right then and there who I wanted to live with (which is a whole other emotional experience.)) She'd do things from her "jokes," to the "punishment" she came up with where every time I said something she didn't like, she'd slap my face.
Point blank. Didn't matter where or when it was, she did it. More often than not, it was whenever she felt like.
And then there was the privacy invasions. At first, it seemed logical (for someone who's grown up like that) that she saw everything. All my game accounts were linked to hers, and she knew my school-assigned email address (they used it to help teach us about "the real world".) I wasn't allowed to have a phone until age 13, which she could go through any time she wanted.
She'd punish me for whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted, however she wanted. One summer (and this was in Texas, in an area where it gets particularly hot/humid) she locked me out of the house all day (from 9 until about 6 or 7 at night, whenever she decided to get back,) and told me I wasn't allowed back inside (she would contest that because she only forbade me from entering, and told my older sister and two stepsisters I was allowed exactly 1 five-minute bathroom break all day and to tie me down outside if I needed to be, that she "technically" didn't lock me out) until she got back. I wasn't allowed any food, and had to drink from a dirty ass hose. I wasn't allowed to accept help from anyone, and my sisters weren't allowed to take food outside to me. She got home that evening and made me go straight to bed, then said I "hadn't learned anything" and made me do it all over again. I literally went 48 straight hours without food during that time.
The thing she was "punishing" me for? My dog had decided it wanted to lay down while I was taking it for a walk and got his belly a little red and some dirt on it.
Point is, knowing my mother, she was out-right abusive. Case #1 for abusive parents. From her, trust issues and paranoia got amplified, but those are whole other stories.
My dad and stepmom, on the other hand, were more into the manipulative side of things (my dad resorting to getting physical "if need be.")
My dad looks like a quirky guy on the outside. Tall, bald, tattooed. If you meshed with him, you'd get along swimmingly. Otherwise, you were me.
At first, I didn't notice his bigotry (I mean how could I? I was basically a smaller version of him, but not quite.) It wasn't until I'd gotten on Tumblr (about 2010 ish was when I first got on? If I remember correctly) and started questioning basically everything about myself when I started recognizing the subtler things, and it was definitely apparent when my older sister moved in with us.
At the time, she'd left my mom's house (because she'd gotten to her, too) and I was about 14-15. I found out before my parents did that she was actually transgender (and went by he/him pronouns, had a support group, etc.) I was like "oh cool I've always wanted an older brother" but the condition was I not tell my parents until it had already been brought up.
Now... Especially with my dad, he'll say he'll support someone he cares about unconditionally, but if you do something he doesn't agree with, he'll either get... Apprehensive, or just straight-up drop you. When he found out about my older brother, he basically bullied "the phase" (as my dad called it) out of him. It officially ended with a Christmas story that actually involves my stepmom.
Anyways, that's where I started finding out that even though he claimed to be unconditionally supportive, he wasn't.
Long story short, had a Tumblr and a support group, they found out about it, literally took everything away from me and invaded my privacy on literally all my accounts, told me I was "being enabled" because I had friends who'd sent me positivity during a barage of Anon hate, wouldn't even listen to me when I tried to explain how I literally didn't know how some of the stuff that was on there wasn't me (someone has gained access to my account and basically started up a sideblog that let's just say a 14-year-old shouldn't even look at, much less have,) tried to get me to tell them "the whole truth" and when I came out about my sexuality had to bottle it up again and act like it was "just a phase" because of how they reacted, and over the course of the next 5 years tried to invade my privacy as much as they possibly could. (Hell, even today, my dad still has my old email account on his phone to "check on it")
He's the kinda guy who would physically restrain me from doing something, then claim I voluntarily didn't do it. The list goes on.
My stepmother was arguably one of the most manipulative people I ever knew. Anti-vaxxer (to the point that she signed a consent form saying neither of my little sisters could get immunization shots from their schools and when asked about it, shrugged it off and was like "they don't need them," but there was more), terf bangs, the whole shebang. Would constantly goad people, then when someone called her out on it acted like she was the victim. Got my dad to yell at me/restrain me because I was "being too aggressive" trying to not have a panic attack because she was yelling. Got the word "ridiculous" banned in the house (yes, literally banned.) So, so much more.
She'd constantly demean me and talk down to me and about me, tell my sister's they didn't have to listen or pay attention to me, and when I brought it up to my dad/publicly, she'd simply act confused and say she didn't know what I was talking about, or that I was misremembering (a common tactic my mother used that my dad and stepmom hated.) One time, my dad actually asked me if she turned into my mother when she was gone, and I paused for a moment and was like "I mean yeah." (Don't ask how that resolved.)
She was the kind of woman who would slap you in the face and then talk to you long enough to try to convince you that you were never actually slapped in the face (unlike my mom, who would and would just tell you you deserved it.) This was the woman who, when my older sister's friend asked how her son was doing, almost caused a scene by loudly stating that her "daughter was doing just fine and I'll let her know that you were thinking about her." (Mind you this friend didn't know that my older brother was trans. This friend only knew him as he, and once even when I slipped up they didn't seem to notice it.)
All my parents would constantly demand someone access my email, messages, and history at any given point. I had friends who I talked to about this that I was scared shitless my parents would find out about because I didn't wanna lose them. I made so many accounts to cover my tracks I've literally lost access to a lot of them because I just can't remember the login details. My parents constantly told me "if you're hiding something that means you know it's bad" out of the blue, keeping me in a constant state of paranoia.
One time, I'd accidentally left my phone in my room and my dad walked in and stayed in for an abnormally long amount of time. I didn't go in because I knew they would definitely see that as a sign something was up, and just rode out my anxiety until my dad walked out, a hand in his pocket. He made this dramatic deal of calmly saying "Now... You know the rules... I'll forgive you this time, but next time will be worse... Especially after what's happened before..." And I was freaking the fuck out. He looked at me and laughed as he pulled a candy wrapper out of his pocket. He said he chose those words specifically because he wanted to see what kind of reaction he'd get out of me.
There are so many other examples I could bring up that I don't have the time or emotional energy to all in one post, but it breaks my heart there are still people who don't believe there are people like this out there. I once had a guy ask "well if your mom's that bad how come she's not in prison?" And my reply was simple: "Because she can cover herself up well." Parents like this are out there. People like this are out there. Please don't let this be your relationships in any fashion because you don't deserve it.
tl;dr: parental abuse and violations take many different forms. If you have any parents or people you know like this, as soon and as safely as you can, get the fuck out. They may only damage you permanently even worse.
The post that got me thinking about all this over the last emotion-charged hour and a half: https://freckledfemme.tumblr.com/post/169530766178/omgwhy-bpdcalvinfischoeder-staar84

Mass unfollow on Instagram in 2020 ( SOLVED)
A tutorial on how to mass unfollow on Instagram on AUTOPILOT!   While we can all agree that Instagram is a great social media platform to run a business on, it is also important to have your Instagram account looking professional. Sometimes this could mean having to unfollow a lot of users, particularly those who  did not follow you back , and since they do not interact with your posts, they could be causing your engagement to suffer. You might also be looking to unfollow users who, although they followed you back, do not like or comment on your posts.
Sadly, Instagram does not come with the functionality for mass unfollowing users. As a matter of fact, Instagram discourages users from unfollowing too many people within a short period. If you attempt to manually unfollow, say, 500 users at one go, you could in a best-case scenario get an unfollow block that could last a day and in a worst-case scenario your Instagram account could get banned for violating Instagram’s terms of service.
What’s the Instagram Unfollow Limit per Day?   Before embarking on the choice of Instagram unfollow app, its important to know the limits. Instagram unfollow limit varies for new and old Instagram accounts.
For accounts that are more than 6 months old, the Instagram mass unfollow limit is  2000  per day with a gap of 12-22 seconds between each unfollow.
For accounts that are less than 6 months old, the unfollow limit is  500  per day with a gap of 36-48 seconds per day. The per-hour limit is between  60-200  accounts.
Why would you need to perform a mass unfollow on Instagram?   On Instagram, people make snap judgments based on what they see from your channel. One of the ways people judge your page is by the number of people you follow.
Following too many people can signal that you’re a spammer, you poorly use an automation tool, or that there is something generally bad about your channel that is making people not want to follow you back.
Whatever the reason is, following too many people without having an equal amount of followers is a signal to people that there is something fishy about your page. Fishiness is not how you build a successful Instagram page.
If this situation describes you, a quick and easy way to redeem your page is to perform a mass unfollow on Instagram.
Now, this is where you need a tool that you can set up to gradually unfollow on Instagram on autopilot.
The best app to mass unfollow on Instagram   There are quite a few apps out there that claim to be the   best Instagram unfollow app  .   Before You Do A Mass Unfollow On Instagram, Read This   Today, Instagram has become so anti-spam and controlling that even regular users are affected by Instagram’s strict rules and restrictions on anything that might potentially be spam.
Instagram has become tougher to spam and spam-like behavior on the platform during the years. And they won’t hesitate to take action if necessary.
Let’s look at some useful ways that you can avoid getting permanently or temporarily banned or even block on Instagram.
What is an Instagram shadowban?    Typically, when you get banned from Instagram, you receive a notice that your account is reported. However, you don’t receive any notification with an Instagram shadowban; you only see your engagement decreases.
Another clear clue that your account might be shadowbanned is when your hashtags don’t work. Instagram punishes accounts that are not playing fair or those who might have got unlucky by simply using the wrong hashtags, etc.
How can I beat the Instagram shadowban?      1. Don’t mass follow and like    While this article is about mass unfollowing on Instagram, there is a risk associated with a mass following, For instance, by trying to grow a notable number of likes and followers at one time, you will receive a temporary block from Instagram. The reason for this would be because they considered the limits on follows and likes.
PS: Kindly note these figures religiously:
The maximum number of likes per hour is 60.   The maximum number of follows per hour is 60.  The maximum number of messages per hour is 60.  But if your account is just new, the limits are different:  A maximum number of likes per hour is 30  A maximum number of comments per hour is 30  A maximum number of following/unfollow per hour is 30.   Violating Instagram rules causes a temporary block. It involves limiting the profile’s function; You can’t comment, like, follow or write in Direct Messages for some time (from 2 hours to 2 weeks). If you are lucky to get blocked temporarily, don’t do anything with your profile, Just give it a little rest before it is completely restored.
   2. Don’t share Images/Videos Violating Social Network Rules              Photos and videos with naked bodies, sexual content, and violence are considered unsuitable. Whatever your goals are, posting such inappropriate content can get you banned, so be careful.
3.User complaint    Someone might find your account a threat, so they click the Report button. If other people report your account too, Instagram will sooner or later block your profile. People would complain of different reasons such as mass liking, mass following, abuses, inappropriate content, spam, etc.
   4. Complete your Instagram Profile    Add a little bio in your profile. Also, make sure you have a real profile picture. This brings validity to your profile and avoids unnecessary focus on your account from Instagram.
   5. Post Regularly    You must post pictures on Instagram and remember that posting regularly is what matters. An active display of social profiles can mainly save you from getting blocked.    Jarvee    can save you the trouble by auto-scheduling posts so that you can focus on other matters.
   6. Copyright Infringement    Copyright is a serious issue on Instagram. All pictures in your account have to be either yours or permitted by the owner. If you want to share someone else’s picture, tag him/her in the photo (provided he/she has an Instagram account). If you use pictures for a commercial purpose, you have to ask the owner’s permission too. Additionally, if you post a video with music that you don’t have the rights, Instagram will certainly remove it.
If you ignore the copyright rules, the author can report you to Instagram for using the photo without their permission, and you would be blocked for copyright infringement.
   7. The different IP address and device    If you log into your account from various devices and approve it via SMS, Instagram is less likely to ban you. Though, if you log in with different devices and IP-addresses, Instagram may think scammers hacked your account. The social network responds to it instantly and blocks the profile for your own safety.
   8. Perform reasonable actions    Keep your follow/unfollow activities balanced. Bulk actions might seem aggressive, which may deactivate your account, and even worse, that you might get temporarily blocked.
In some cases, all you should do is giving some rest to your account. Try to log in after some time such as 24 hours. It would help you to return your account.
9.Verify your email    This is an easy but highly crucial way to avoid getting blocked or banned. When you verify your email, you prove that you are a real person.
   10. Do not comment too many emojis         For some reason, Instagram doesn’t like it when you comment emojis excessively. Limit yourself to leave fewer emojis per comment.         11. Do not copy your comments over and over    Instagram keeps an extra eye on repeated comments. The reason is that Instagram may consider you a bot.
   12. Do not spam-comment    As I mentioned commenting is Instagram’s biggest problem when it is about spam on the platform. While spam-liking is used as a way to get more attention to the accounts, it isn’t harmful to anyone. However, Instagram is pretty strict with how many comments you leave on posts in a short time.
   13. Do not spam-like posts    Liking a large number of posts in a short time is known as a spammy action. But when you start liking excessively, it is a sign to Instagram that you’re acting spammy.
If you’re new to Instagram   If you are new to Instagram, before you start following other profiles, make sure you post for yourself. Generally, a good start includes posting pictures regularly.
What should you do for not looking spammy?
 · Avoid editing your captions after posting a photo.
 · Stop using hashtags in your comments put them in the caption.
 · Don’t post too many posts every day (up to 3).
