having thought about it more, i think the only way strq lore could really happen is by ruby and yang hearing it directly from tai, raven, and / or qrow (and maybe summer though i suspect that would not be in pleasant circumstances). mainly because that's how it's been avoided so far; "we'll talk about it later", "save it for when you're older", and so on. in yang's case too, she has had qrow and tai talk about raven, but she also straight up admits she doesn't know raven, so it only makes sense that to fix that, she gets to actually hear from raven herself.

having said that, i would find it really fucking funny if they finally sat down to talk, and the expectations are high—we're finally getting straight to the source to hear what happened with team strq! maybe we'll get to see beacon again in its full glory!—and then they begin with "so. when i was a child..." and everyone is left to wonder how fucking deep does this hole go.

Hux likes finger foods, but really it’s the idea of finger food that appeals to him. Little bite sized pieces that only require one hand to eat while he continues to work with the other. The epitome of efficiency. But he hates getting grease and crumbs on his hands, preferring utensils to eat but not wanting to put his work down.

What he really wants is to have his food already cut up for him so he doesn’t have to use both hands and do it himself.

Phasma, knowing this, arranges to have his meals served already cut to size on children’s plates and cutlery.

Hux, happily eating his meal with a red plastic fork in one hand and his datapad in the other “Thank you, Phasma.”

“You’re welcome sir. Would you like apple juice with you meal?”

“No thank you.”

“A bedtime story, sir?”

“You’re pushing it Phasma”
