I absolutely LOVE the headcanon that Megazarak, the exiled ex leader of the Decepticons before Megatron seized the title, was has spark-split twin brother >:3 now I’ve already adopted this relationship into my c&m AU but now I think I’d like it to be official within my others as well—which calls for an actual design of the big bad boy!!

Our Megatron has proven to be an impressive tyrannical warmonger, however he did not have the ambition nor aggression to all out destroy Cybertron in his conquest for control.

With reformed faction upon reformed faction, upon movement to uprising to downfall and back again—Megazarak knew that there would truly be no hope for their race’s future, nor warmth in their husk of a world until he watched it burn.

I can only imagine what lengths Megazarak just about went to before Megatron salvaged and rallied their newly formed faction. To exile— but not execute his overthrown leader at the cusp of The Great War ?? Broken down, then hastily pulled back together for the sake of his Cause, by the sibling he once admired bound by far more than just blood. Through all the betrayal and fear, Megatron could not bring himself to kill his brother no matter how much he wanted to.

On the day they parted, both found their true definitions of loyalty.

a headcanon: the reason why the lantern festival is the one & only festivity xiao ever partakes in is that he gets to write down the wishes and desires that he was forced to consume, onto lanterns that would be released into the sky for them to come true.

additionally, xiao is good at calligraphy and he makes sure that every wish is written nicely with meticulous care because he thinks it’s what his victims deserve after all that he’s done.

Basically, Marvel released this video last month to advertise Phase 4 (the new movies that will be released this year) and had Stan Lee narrating, and they used a speech he did in 2017 for his voice (since the man is dead now).

It was originally a speech about how stories should be inclusive (for everyone), and how everyone should be represented in stories, like those by Marvel.

The parts of the voice put into the video removes the anti-hate message, turning it into 'we're all a part of this story' to celebrate theatres reopening after the pandemic, taking the focus away from marginalized people, who are often treated badly for their race/colour/religion/gender, something the original speech lists.

Even with upcoming representation in the MCU making the topics relevant, Stan Lee was used for less than 1 of the 3 minutes of the video and it's clear they could've put the entire speech in. They explicitly chose to take out a message against bigotry (discrimination) for advertising.
