The "true love rings' warding spell" shares damages between you & your romance. I believe the end of Karlach's romance (if death is chosen) should have allowed the player to die beautifully with Karlach, you can't change my mind meme.

The Puddins as Karlach (Baldur's Gate 3)

One thing that really made me happy was how BG3 straight up avoids defining the events of the first two games and the identity of the protagonist with anything more than 'it happened!'. While the first two games and their expansions allow you to customize your PC regarding race, gender, appearance and class, and to roleplay them as you wish, there is a WotC 'canon' pushed in novels that made the PC a male human fighter, and these were received QUITE poorly by the series' fans. The fact that Larian just chose to not elaborate is the best way they could've handled it to not step on IP toes while at the same time leaving space for everyone who played the original games to imagine their own custom story still happened.

while i did a gifset to showcase an armour set, i was also intrigued by just how different the animation is for the wizard class vs gale's unique animation:

it's amazing to see not only just how quickly gale performs the somatic component of the spell, but also his efficiency of movement compared to the standard wizard animation.

there's a world of difference here, the difference between a wizard vs a prodigy, an archwizard and chosen.

Just finished my first playthrough of BG3. Romanced Lae'zel, but ending up turning into an Illithid because the idea of making Orpheus or Karlach do it didn't sit well with me (or my character).

I told Lae'zel to leave with Orpheus in the end (I heard she wouldn't stay with a ghaik anyway, which she's valid for, but also, it doesn't feel right to ask her to stay when I know how much her people mean to her). And like-
