Fuck replacing the ball joints on this bitch!
Dealing with the driver's side front suspension now. Lower control arm bushings were toast as well as the sway bar endlinks, ball joints and outer tie rod. Jeez. I have to change this busted axle and wheel bearing too, asap.
This little thing needed some serious elbow grease and TLC to be safe. Already drives like a completely different car. I can move on to the engine leaks and changing more fluids now before tackling the rear suspension that is also very bad, lol. But first swapping out the front brake calipers that are bad. Fun. 🙃

The ball joint popped out of the control arm on a Nissan Versa.
Our customer thought she hit something and had the car towed in. However, based on the rust it appears that the ball joint has been loose for a while.
We keep an eye out for worn and broken components as we inspect a car’s steering and suspension.

It’s the same thing in the rear. There’s typically only a lower control arm. Rear upper control arms are usually only found in exotic sports…
