I'm not going to lie, I kinda like the idea of them starting to date again and seeing where it takes them. 🙈 freesia sneaked into my heart for some reason (she kind of started this new trend of mine where i make ocs that were created to be dicks and then me just getting protective of them and trying to reason out their awful behavior kasjsdj)

Swap au - Backstory

[info summary]

where do we go?

The first show still happened, and the big fight between the brothers as well. However JD never made the heisty choice to decide to run away preventing the others from making the choice.

Instead they were just mad at each other (mostly towards JD) for a few weeks or so-

Fast forward a bit, the great escape from Bergen town

Still happened, only now the brothers were here.

They manage to get away from the Bergen's but not with a heavy loss, princess Viva was still separated (presumed dead), king peppy did perish and a number of trolls were still taken

All that was left was fewer numbers and the youngerst

Princess poppy to survive. Despite the affirmation of freedom the pop trolls could not feel the victory

But a sense of loss.... And so a large portion of them

Lose their color and abandoned music and went into hiding

For the Bergen's were still in search of them

The brothers also went into hiding. Created an underground bunker drafted by their youngest, baby branch's Vision, their colors still stayed as w as their love of music.

another reason i think that xie lian felt an instant connection on the ox cart is because he and hua cheng both grew up in xianle.

there are maybe 4 people still alive that grew up in that culture. based on my own experience, you can pick up on things like accent, cadence, references, and humor that suggest a person is from the same place as you without consciously noticing it. that sense of comfort and similarity probably played into their instant chemistry.
