If you're not sure, you can always post your work to another site (AO3, twitter, etc.) and then link to it here. All explicit content posted and reblogged here will be tagged "nsft" so be sure to block that tag if you'd like to filter out such content!

4. No whitewashing, racism, misogyny, transphobia, ableism, or other bigotry of any kind. Content that explores these themes is ok, but they shouldn't go unchallenged in the piece, and they should be tagged with the appropriate warnings.

5. When submitting visual or audio media, please include a description either in ALT text or in the body of the post itself.

6. Other characters and relationships from The Legend of Korra are welcome, but your submission should be primarily about Korrasami.

7. Be kind. No criticism ("constructive" or otherwise) of other people's work unless the creator explicitly requests it. If you don't like something, just keep scrolling!

[not a submission] im loving the blog, thank you so much for doing this, i know it's a lot of work. i hate to add to that work, but i was wondering if you might start using your best judgement to decide if a submission is fake or not before posting it? i understand if you just skim to see if it follows the FAQ bc you receive so many submissions already, but it seems like there's been several absolutely outrageous ones that are clearly just trolling.

Thank you for your kind words! ♥ I've made the decision not to screen for fake stories for a few reasons, though:

1.) I would feel SO bad if I made a wrong call and mistakenly assumed someone's very real situation was fake! I do not presume to know the breadth of human experience, and so I've decided not to put that weight on my shoulders

2.) It would add a fair bit of extra mental load to the queuing process as I have to ponder whether each submission passes the sniff test

3.) We're on the fake stories web site, and sometimes fake stories, told entertainingly, are fun

hi everyone! welcome to my very own MDZS-specific iteration of the unparalleled @svsss-fanon-exposed and @tgcf-fanon-exposed. this blog is designed to find the differences between canon and fanon in the Mo Dao Zu Shi/Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation fandom.

this blog is ENGLISH NOVEL CANON ONLY. although i may occasionally cite the drama or the donghua as the potential source for any misconceptions, the canons of these adaptations differ too much from the novel canon for my purposes (plus i haven't finished either one. whoops).

how this whole thing works:

send me an ask! is this thing you thought was canon actually fanon? is that fanon idea supported in the books? where? why? how?

i'll answer the ask with a rating, using SVFE's helpful rating system (explained below), and then go into detail. generally a post will include textual evidence supporting my rating, and possibly an analysis of what this means/where an idea came from.

i'll do my best not to introduce my own personal opinions or biases into the posts. if you have any textual evidence that you think disproves or otherwise contradicts one of my posts, i'm always happy to be corrected! HOWEVER. please do not argue with me or anyone else unnecessarily; this blog is not supposed to be a site for or source of discourse. i will block anyone who is repeatedly coming at me with bad faith. i'm doing this project for fun, and i want to keep it that way for everyone :)

i'm doing this blog for fun, so i'll be treating it as a casual project. i will only be using the official english translation of the novels, with the supplementary exception of the exiled rebels fanlation. i don't speak any chinese, so i will not be using the untranslated raws or any non-english fandom sources in my posts. although i'll be doing research as needed, i also will not be evaluating any headcanons purely based on chinese cultural norms, due to my unfamiliarity with them. if you are more familiar with any of these sources and have more information to add to a post, please let me know!

another thing to keep in mind: the official translation of the novels is not considered fully accurate to the original chinese. i am not immune to making mistakes, either. please take my posts with a grain of salt.

Happy New Year everybody!

It's now January so it's time for a monthly update and to thank all our wonderful Patreon subscribers. :3  Since it's a new year, rather than thank only the Patreon subscribers for December, I'm going to thank anybody who subscribed in 2023 including those who donated on Ko-Fi. :)

For the update, this month I was fixing up the Jade Warriors and Psylocke tag, specifically, this Psylocke post from the early days of EG where she's technically fighting ninjas, and three of the most infamous Jade Warriors posts: the "rain" post, the "drying off" post, and the "females" post.  The "drying off" and "females" posts also have two of the best redraw/re-scripts submitted to this blog, which I also restored and wanted to share with everybody because they're really great.  The "drying off" redraw was done by @ghostgreen, and the "females" redraw was done by Eliza.  I included both and the originals in this post because I think people who haven't seen them before might be interested to. :)

I mentioned this last month, but if you use Disqus, you should have noticed that the reactions have been changed to be less generic, and I've included a "thanks, I hate it!" option because it was requested.

Anyway, now I want to get to thanking everybody who helped support Escher Girls in 2023, whether through Patreon or Ko-Fi. :)

Last Day of June!〜Everyone, Today is the Deadline!＼＼\\٩( 'ω' )و //／／〜

And just like that it's already the last day of June! I'm spending this day looking at photos of the gorgeous hydrangeas at Yokosuka Museum of Art ＼＼\٩( 'ω' )و //／／Amazing… they were in full bloom😳✨The days are getting longe and I really feel like it's summer😊

I always feel energised by nature🌳

Well! Before starting with the big Sarushima arc, I'd like to talk about some of my fangirl activities from a while back😊These pictures are from April when I went to see "Detective Conan: The Movie 1,000,000" by myself. Before heading to the movie theatre, I had a special Kaito Kid collaboration ice cream at Baskin Robbins!! It was called "Kaito Kid's Jewel Sundae"🍨I went on a weekday morning so I was the only one in the store. When the sundae was brought to my table, the first thing I thought was, "it's huge!!"😂I immediately opened the acrylic coaster that came with the order so I could take a commemorative photo with the sundae📸It really feels like I was doing my very best to support my favourite character. By the way, this acrylic coaster is the same one that made a special appearance during my online after-talk event. It matches perfectly with my own acrylic stand😭 Amazing😭✨ There's a moon just like Kid-sama's trademark moon in the background, and our outfits are matching too😭 It's an incredible miracle😭✨

There were two types of ice cream to choose from, one of which was my favourite "Chocolate Chip"🍫 (unfortunately, it is no longer available…) The other one was a special limited edition "Detective Conan Yogurt-Berry Ice Cream"😊I took so many pictures, the sound of my "snap📸snap📸" echoed throughout the quiet store.

But… really… this sundae was huge!! 🍨🍨😂🍨🍨When I saw the whipped cream on top, I was worried whether or not I would be able to finish all of it. And as expected, I was struggling😇 By the time I got to the chocolate chip ice cream, my stomach felt a little bloated 😇 (or rather, I was craving something salty to make up for all the sweetness) But of course I ate it all!! And I was freezing!! (It was a chilly day) When I got to the bottom, I realised for the first time that Kid-sama was printed on the other side of the cup.✨

After eating delicious ice-cream and getting really cold, I headed to the cinema!! Once I was seated, I peeled Kid-sama off the back of my phone to take a took a picture 😂But thinking about it, I should have taken out the acrylic stand I got earlier 😭 How stupid of me😭Following an exciting and happy time watching a great movie, I went to Sushizanmai on the way home and ate my favourite torotaku maki🥰🍣I love torotaku!! ︎I want to start and finish my meal with torotaku 😻 (and have something grilled in between) Even though I love it so much, my photo doesn't do it justice🥺 But it still looks delicious 🤤 (at least in my opinion)

So, everyone, today is the last day of June which means it's the submission deadline for the talk topic of my next "Wakana's Talk Garden" Vlog which will be posted on July 10th! … Don't forget to stay hydrated and protect yourself from the heat♪

Yesterday, I went to Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse to see Day 1 of "Everyday’s Omatsuri 2024"!! The venue is so big. For the first day of the event, live performances were held by the event's producer, ISEKI, alongside Simon Isogai and Yohei Hamabata. 🤗 The distance between the stage and the audience was small so it was an exciting and heated live performance. 😳💓Summer has finally begun…!! 🎐🌻🏝️🌊🌞See you all here on Saturday the 13th. ☺️(Source)

Hello! I'm Zombie Stardust and this is Scene Weekly, your source for all the lastest and greatest in Scene, Emo, and Alternative news!

I am looking to start something that is in no way revolutionary or never before seen, but something I feel could be a great way to bring this community together and make something genuine for everyone!

My hope for Scene Weekly is to bring you three news letters as blog posts on my own website that will act as a hub for all things scene!

These blog posts will be about:

Music (with a special emphasis on niche indie artists making their own music online)

Fashion (with things like DIY clothes, makeup & hair tutorials, & hopefully community submitted outfit inspo where a person talks about their outfits, how they put things together, and spotlight their own personal style!)

Culture (featuring an ask column where people can ask questions about anything alternative & get a response with resources, personal experience, and history!)

I would also eventually like to start an accompanying podcast where I can interview new music artists, indie fashion models, and OG scene kids & alternative folks!

This is currently a work in progress! I'm working on building the website with a friend of mine, creating submission forms, drawing a lot of special icons & doodles for the blogs, and I've yet to start writing anything formal for the blog. I'm only one person & I'm doing my best to get this project off the ground because it's something I'm passionate about! Once everything is ready to launch I'll be leting everyone know across various media platforms :3

If you are interested in featuring on the website, have a niche indie artist you think I should cover, have some cool ideas to share, or just like my vibes pls send an ask! Leave a comment or rb, my dm's should be open as well!
